So my grandparents, mom, and I were leaving the store and my grandpa asked if my mom put the cart away, when I put it away since he did see, and MY MOM SAID, AND I FUCKING QUOTE!!!!!! "He put it away." I WAS SO FUCKING HAPPY I SMILED!!!!! My grandparents asked what guy put it away, and they went back and forth of 'what?'-'who?', and my mom corrected herself saying that her throat hurts and she was trying to say "she", grandma said, "Your daughter is a girl." And that made me feel really bad, because I'm not a girl. I'm a boy—he/him.

But still pronouns are so easy to change that my queerphobic mother didn't even realize she called her female son a he/him. So people who say it's a big change and hard to do are dumbasses.
