He gets placed in the foster system where unfortunately he gets abused by the workers there (This is mention in flahbacks he has). It makes Hanta frown anyway, wondering if the stiffness in Bakugou's shoulders is just his typical tension or if he's angry or upset or humiliated. Hanta would get it. He knows the feeling.
Shinsou's in the middle of saying something, probably just adding to the constipated puppy joke, but Hanta didn't hear any of it and he doesn't really want to know the rest. So, he interrupts.
“Well,” he licks his lips, clears his throat, “well, I think he's beautiful.”
While chatting about what they find pretty about their classmates, some less-than-kind things are said about Bakugou. Hanta takes issue with this.

"Katsuki, look at me." The instruction came clear from Aizawa, whose expression had turned stoney. Mic was awake now, moving closer to the computer to get a better understanding of what was going on. His jaw dropped when he saw the state the student was in, covering his mouth to keep from causing any trouble with his quirk.
Bakugou looked at the screen slowly, eyes misty as he focused on the face of his homeroom teacher. He could feel his hands shaking, trying to stay in control when the big question came.
