“Ginger has springy brown hair and freckled brown skin. Her mom is Thai and Brazilian, and her dad is from Barbados, and she’s got the brightest eyes and rosiest cheeks of anyone I’ve ever met.”
"I’m enjoying myself more than I expected. I don’t think I’ve ever spent time with this many queer people at once—only Agatha, really—and it’s strangely familiar. Not quite a sappy ‘coming home’ feeling… more a blanket sensation of safety. Because we already have this one thing in common."

Carry on Countdown | Day Nine: Pride
This year I decided I wanted to honor the incredibly talented fic writers of this fandom, so I chose one fic per prompt to do an illustration for. I didn’t double up on authors so that I could do this for as many people as possible. I realized while planning this that there are way too many fics and authors that I love, and even after having picked 30 of what I consider some of my very favorites, I could have easily kept going. Please check the fics out if you haven’t, they all come highly recommended.
It was like she’d pulled the feeling right out of my heart. I could have kissed her. (I still wish sometimes that I wanted to.) (That would feel like an answer to … the question of me. Then I could say, “Oh, that’s who I am. That’s why I’ve been so confused.”)

Happy Birthday, Agatha!
Lots of shiny gold ink for Sister Golden Hair and her gal pal, At-Least-Eighty-Percent-Activated Ginger.
Finally, I feel able that I can post it. This is something I've been working on for a couple of weeks for a class where we had to take a scene from a book and storyboard it.
I'll eventually do the ren fare sword-fighting scene that's in ws eventually. but this was a scene I wanted to do for a project last semester and I think the teacher changed the curriculum a bit to include an assignment that's about transforming books into storyboards. I like to think I influenced them at least :)
Some notes about this though:
I don't really see the dining hall exactly like this. It made it this way so it makes for a more dramatic entrance and character moments. I personally like to imagine it with more (and round) tables + much bigger, especially the area where Baz walks.
no voices, obviously, didn't wanna butcher anything with my crappy English accent.
again like I've stated in a previous post, it's gonna stay sketchy cause it's a storyboarding class. My teacher doesn't care about the quality of each frame but instead, that the message is being properly conveyed.
