You Used To Live In My Head (Now I Carry You In My Heart)
Tumblr media
When Kate Sharma finds a random DM with a photo of her as a child next to another kid and questions Mary about it she discovers that the imaginary friend she believed she had had during the three years her family lived in London when she was a little was not actually imaginary? Actually, he might be the next King of England.
This is @harnitbee and mine's insanity. It's mostly silly, fluff and bee puns!
U can find the Instagram pages Anita made on This Post
This started as a birthday present for @ladystanbury, who's birthday was on the 9th... MARCH! It's little late and it's also absolutely huge. It got a little (A lot) out of hand. I hope u like it (even more than you already do)
Enjoy our descend to madness and don't forget to leave a kudo/comment/ask... just tell us about it, we live of that! lol
Lots of Love,
Cee and Anita

I don't know if it's the weather change, but the exhaustion and level of not feeling like myself is a powerful force. Walking through life vs the person in my head— I am 37 different people throughout the week and it feels like taking shape of characters in fandom that I didn't ask for: I am a theatrical pirate; I am a viscount with unresolved trauma; I am the prince of Wales! Soon I won't even be a 3D, complex, earth-born collection of atoms anymore.

100 followers gift!
First of all, I would like to thank you all for this amazing year! It's been a pleasure meeting you all and I'm beyond thankful for your support.
Spread among 13 occupied and historic royal residences in the United Kingdom, the collection is owned by King Charles III and overseen by the Royal Collection Trust. The British monarch owns some of the collection in right of the Crown and some as a private individual. It is made up of over one million objects, including 7,000 paintings, over 150,000 works on paper, this including 30,000 watercolours and drawings, and about 450,000 photographs, as well as around 700,000 works of art, including tapestries, furniture, ceramics, textiles, carriages, weapons, armour, jewellery, clocks, musical instruments, tableware, plants, manuscripts, books, and sculptures.
Some of the buildings which house the collection, such as Hampton Court Palace, are open to the public and not lived in by the Royal Family, whilst others, such as Windsor Castle, Kensington Palace and the most remarkable of them, Buckingham Palace are both residences and open to the public.
About 3,000 objects are on loan to museums throughout the world, and many others are lent on a temporary basis to exhibitions.

Since they were at the coronation as well, are Simon and Daphne Duke and Duchess in LH? What’s their story?
Also, I feel confident that Simon’S eyes also shut and Daphne had to pinch him awake. The girls will never let them forget about it, holding it over them as they meet with the Prince and Princess of Wales, maybe?
Yeah, Simon’s a Duke in Lavender Haze, he’s Anthony’s oldest friend, and one night after they all hung out, Simon offered to drive her home and before he knew it she was leaning in to kiss him.
He panicked, obviously, even though all he wanted suddenly was to press her into the door and let his tongue tangled with hers.
“We’ve been… we’ve been drinking.” Simon gasped, putting his hands firmly back in the steering wheel. “I don’t want to… take advantage of you.”
“I haven’t had that much to drink.” Daphne chuckled, “But okay. Take me out tomorrow instead then.”
Simon groaned, “I… really want to do that, but Anthony would take my head off. And I like my head. I’m attached to it. It’s what I smile at pretty girls with.”
“Simon, I’m a big girl now. I’m an adult, Anthony’s not in charge of who I see and who I don’t. If you don’t want to go out, that’s fine.”
And Simon had no choice but to groan again, “no, I, I want to go out. Fuck Anthony.”
“Yeah, Fuck Anthony.”
They are at the coronation, Simon dragged Daphne along in a If I have to so do you, sort of way. He spent a majority of the time counting the number of hats in front of him. Which he felt was time better spent.

Michael Sheen: ‘I find it very hard to accept actors playing Welsh characters when they aren’t Welsh’
Has he taken the concept of authentic casting to a whole new level? Ahead of his latest BBC drama Best Interests, the star explains all
Michael Sheen has had it with the Prince of Wales. Not the man, but the title. “I think it’s ridiculous,” he says. “It’s just silly. I see no reason why the title should continue. Certainly not with someone who’s not Welsh.”
“That’s not the majority view,” he adds, with resignation. “So, whatever the majority of people want, I’m sure will continue.”
The star of Frost/Nixon and proud son of Port Talbot is chatting via video from a bucolic spot close to his hometown (a deer has just wandered into view), but even at a distance, it’s not hard to see that Sheen is a man ofstrong convictions.
He has spoken in the past about the opportunity to retire the title after the death of Elizabeth II, as a gesture to “put some of the wrongs of the past right”. In 2020, he returned the OBE he was “honoured” to have received in 2009 when he felt it would make him a hypocrite to give a lecture about how the English king Edward I “put a stranglehold on Wales” at the turn of the 14th century.
When we chat, he’s about to begin shooting his TV directing debut The Way – co-created with playwright James Graham and documentary-maker Adam Curtis, about a family caught in a civil uprising, set in and around Port Talbot. The BBC project is the first from the production company that he set up with Sherlock producer Bethan Jones to focus on telling Welsh stories because, “You can shout about how bad it is, but if you want to see something be different then do it, you know?”
The 54-year-old is one of the actors of his generation, a stage star in his twenties (The Telegraph’s Charles Spencer called him “outrageously charismatic”) who went on to create unforgettable screen portraits of Tony Blair (The Queen, The Deal), Chris Tarrant (Quiz) and Brian Clough (The Damned United), alongside his David Frost in Peter Morgan’s play and film about the 1977 interviews that brought down the US president. Recently, Sheen has gained a whole new tranche of fans playing a very arch angel opposite David Tennant’s insouciant demon in Amazon’s Good Omens – not technically gay characters according to the Terry Pratchett-Neil Gaiman source novel, but seemingly in love.
Tennant and he have a natural chemistry on and off screen, Sheen says, adding that “he stops me being too grumpy”. He is a little on the grumpy side. In one exchange, in which I suggest he is a supporter of Welsh independence, he responds hotly: “Show me where it says that. I don’t believe I’ve ever said that.” Sam Mendes compared Sheen to fellow Welsh stars Anthony Hopkins and Richard Burton – “fiery, mercurial, unpredictable”.
But he shares a warm screen chemistry with Sharon Horgan in Jack Thorne’s moving new four-part drama Best Interests. They play the parents of a child with cerebral palsy, the adorable Marnie (played by Dublin actor Niamh Moriarty), who suffers a seizure that leaves her without brain function. The couple find themselves on opposite sides of an unbearable decision: whether or not to switch off their daughter’s life support. Very few will make it through the drama without tears, but the issues it raises will be familiar to all who have followed recent legal battles over 12-year-old Archie Battersbee and baby Alfie Evans.
Best Interests is “heartbreaking” at times, he admits, which makes the humour that he and Horgan bring to it all the more important. They hadn’t worked together before. “That relationship had to do a lot of heavy lifting. Sharon and I didn’t know each other very well … but straight from the off, we had a very similar sense of humour and made each other laugh.” Moriarty’s is a break-out performance – one scene involving make-up beautifully captures the parent-child relationship. She has cerebral palsy that affects her legs, a condition called spastic diplegia, but she’s not the only disabled actor in the piece.
Bafta-winner Lenny Rush, 14, who in real-life has a condition that affects his growth, is brilliant as George, who sets his cap at Marnie. Mat Fraser, who plays a legal advocate in Best Interests and portrayed Shakespeare’s Richard III in 2017, has a thalidomide impairment, which likely gave him an insight into Richard’s sense of “my deformity”.
Thorne, who experienced a chronic medical condition in his twenties, has said in the past that disabled people have been “utterly and totally” failed by the TV industry. In Best Interests, one parent of a child with a disability states baldly that people “hate” disabled people. “I think people can feel very uncomfortable around people with disabilities,” Sheen says. “A lot of the time it’s just to do with ignorance about, ‘Oh gosh, I don’t know, what should I do?’ It can make interaction quite awkward at times, and it can bring out people’s fears.”
The fact that there were several people with disabilities working on the project, he says, was striking because it brought home how rarely he had seen it before. It leads into a discussion of how far actors can credibly play identities they don’t personally inhabit. Sheen has thought about it: “You know, seeing people playing Welsh characters who are not Welsh, I find, it’s very hard for me to accept that. Not particularly on a point of principle, but just knowing that that’s not the case.
“That’s a very different end of the spectrum, but a part like Richard III is such a great character to play, it would be sad to think that that character, you know, is no longer available or appropriate for actors to play who don’t have disabilities, but that’s because I’m just not used to it yet, I suppose. Because I fully accept that I’m  not going to be playing Othello any time soon.
“Again, it’s not particularly a point of principle, but personally, I haven’t seen many actors who have come from quite privileged backgrounds being particularly compelling as people from working-class backgrounds. If you haven’t experienced something, you know, the extreme example is, well, if you haven’t murdered someone, can you play a murderer?”
In 2021, it was reported that Sheen intended to be a “not-for-profit” actor, after selling his own properties to ensure the Homeless World Cup that he had organised in Cardiff in 2019 went ahead when funders withdrew. So, what is a not-for-profit actor?
“There’s no such thing,” he says. “In that interview, I talked about how the ideal I was aiming towards was working like a not-for-profit company. When I put the money into the Homeless World Cup, since then I only owe money, so in terms of profits, there are no profits. I put as much of the money I make as I possibly can into either funding and supporting what other people are doing that I believe in, or starting up projects myself.”
It’s a measure of Sheen’s confidence that he knows the parts will keep coming. He has become a father again in his 50s; he and his partner, 28-year-old Swedish actor Anna Lundberg, have two young daughters. “My knees creak a lot more,” he says. “It’s a lot harder to get up and down off the floor when you’re playing with the baby.”
Sheen also has a grown-up daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, 24, from an earlier relationship with British actress Kate Beckinsale. “When my eldest daughter was born, I was still trying to make my way in my career and having to make harder choices about whether to work away from home and how much time to be away and all that stuff,” he says. “This time around, that’s not as difficult as I’m more established as an actor. Physically, it’s hard. But the one thing that is always the same is, you know, poo doesn’t smell any better.”

Change
Pairing: Anthony Bridgerton x reader
Requested by Anonymous
Summary: Things need to change...
Cinderella and her Prince Charming had finally met their match in you and your husband, Anthony Bridgerton.  Yours was a love match, a love that had blossomed seemingly overnight, one that was passionate and unending.  The wedding was extravagant, every member of the ton vying for a seat at the ceremony.  Anthony took you on a trip to Wales; nearly a month spent on the coast, just the two of you.  Every day was spent in your husband’s embrace, strolling along the beaches, exploring the town near your lodgings, tangled in the sheets.
You knew that upon your return to London, Anthony’s duties and responsibilities would take a fair amount of his time, so when you woke up a few mornings to an empty bed or ate dinner alone a few times a week, you didn’t think very much of it.  It was when these occurrences became more frequent, so frequent that Anthony coming to bed when you did, rose when you did, ate his meals with you, were a rarity, that you knew this would not go on.  You’d only been married for two months for heaven’s sake, if this was how the rest of your life was to play out…you could not even fathom.
It was late now, and Anthony was in his study; doing what you had no clue.  He’d taken all his meals there today, claiming he needed to focus on his work.  The maids were certainly gossiping at this point, and you would tolerate no such thing in your household.  You settled into bed–alone–and drifted into a fitful sleep.  When you woke, you were alone, not that that was a surprise at this point, and called for your maid to help you dress.
Once you were presentable, you made your way downstairs, seeking Anthony’s valet.  “Pardon me,” you said.  “Where is my husband?”  “The Viscount is in his study, My Lady, but I believe he is rather busy.”  “I’m sure he will not mind the intrusion, Stevens.  Thank you.”  There was purpose in your steps as you walked the corridors, your heels clicking on the wood floor.  You were raised to be a good wife; to know how to run a household, how to present a tea service, how to host a ball, but you were not raised to be a silent wife.
Your Mama’s advice was serving you well now as you rapped your knuckles against the door of Anthony’s study.  When no answer came, you pushed the door open, finding your husband at his desk.  “Dearest,” he greeted with a smile, which made anger flare in your chest.  “What are you doing here?”  You breathed deeply as you moved to stand before his desk, forcing yourself to remain calm.  “If I have done something to offend or displease you, then I insist you tell me now.”
Anthony cocked his head.  “What?  Y/N, my love, what are you ta-”  “You have been avoiding me, I am certain of it.  I know that your duties as Viscount will take up some of your time, but you have not come to bed with me once in the past three weeks.  Nor have you been there when I woke.  You have taken most of your meals here, and when you have dined with me, it has been clear that your mind was elsewhere.  My father is a member of the peerage as well, so I know firsthand how much time one’s duties ought to occupy, and it is nowhere as much as this.
“When we were wed, you spent every second of every day with me, and I miss it, Anthony.  I miss lying in bed with you until noon, I miss having breakfast with you, I miss you, and I will not put up with this any longer.”  You paused, and for the barest second, Anthony looked a bit afraid.  “This needs to change, Anthony, and it needs to change now.  I love you, and it hurts to think that your love for me might be fading.  Now, I am going to tea at my Mama’s.”
Without waiting for a response, you turned and left your husband’s study asking the butler to bring your carriage around.  Only when you were alone did you let yourself show any emotion, crying silently.  But you stopped your tears and dried your eyes before arriving at your mother’s not wanting to show any sign that anything was amiss.  For the afternoon, you managed to put your thoughts of Anthony aside and enjoy time with your mother, but when evening arrived, you had to head home.
It came as no surprise that you were alone in the bedroom, and your maid helped you to dress for bed before leaving you alone.  You read for a while before settling in for sleep, resigning yourself to another night spent alone.  You woke when the sun shone through the drapes, and you sat up, rubbing your eyes.  You got out of bed and pulled on your dressing gown, exiting your room, seeking Anthony out.  But he was nowhere to be found, nor was any of the staff.
A lone maid was cleaning in the parlor, and you cleared your throat to announce your presence.  “Pardon me, My Lady, I did not see you.”  “Do not trouble yourself.  Where is everyone?”  “His Lordship dismissed them, My Lady.”  You cocked your head.  “Where is Anthony?”  “Last I heard, he was in the kitchens, ma’am.”  “Very well, thank you.”  The maid curtsied to you and you made your way to the kitchens.
Anthony was standing at the stove, pushing a few strips of bacon around a pan.  “Anthony?” you said, making him startle.  “My love,” he said, placing a hand over his chest.  “What are you doing?”  He sighed, setting the spatula down.  “Making you breakfast.”  It was only then that you saw the spread on the table: eggs, toast, waffles, juice, tea, and the bacon that was cooking on the stone.  “Why?”  “Because, my love, I am an idiot.”
You laughed, and Anthony came to stand before you, taking your hands in his.  “You are right.  I have been neglecting you, and I am so very sorry for that.  It was never my intention to make you feel slighted,  I never meant to shut you out, and I will apologize for as long as you need for you to forgive me.  You are right; my duties should not take up as much time as I have been giving them, I do not know why I was putting all of my energy into them, but that ends now.
“Y/N, my beautiful bride, you are the most important thing in my life, and from this day forward, you will be treated accordingly.  I love you so much, my darling, and I am so sorry.”  He was crying, you were crying, and you reached out to wipe his tears away.  “Anthony, I love you too,” you said, and your husband pulled you into his arms.  His promise to do better had soothed any ruffled feathers you had, and you pressed a kiss to his jaw.
“I shall make this wasted month up to you,” he said, releasing you to take the bacon off of the stove and moving it onto a plate.  Anthony sat you down and served you, kissing your forehead between every spoonful.  “If I can look forward to breakfasts like this every day, then you are well on your way.”  Anthony laughed as he prepared his own food.  “I do not think I can do that, darling,” he said.  “I believe I have extended my culinary abilities.”  You laughed as your husband sat next to you, kissing his cheek.  “I think I can live with that.”

Hellooo! Thank you for the excuse to talk about the one thing that has been living in my head rent-free for a couple of weeks now
🎨Show us a sneak peek from a WIP!
Alright, so this is a lil bit from my first text fic "You Used To Live In My Head (Now I Carry You In My Heart)" (Name still under a bit of consideration). It is a bday present for @ladystanbury (who's birthday was a whole 9 days ago) that was supposed to be short and out on her bday but alas, I completely lost control and it's a now a gigantic thing.
Tumblr media
I was going to copy/past but tumblr doesn't let me keep the proper formating so let's go with the print.
I'm finishing a moodboard for it. This would 100% not exist without @harnitbee's help, support and ideas and without Polly fangirling about it in my ear.
I've got from my planning 12 scenes done and another... 30 to go? Give or take that! lol Would like to finish this soon tho, have a bit of a deadline bet, let's see how it goes.
Come play the Fic Writer Ask Game!

Australia: [Potential r]eferendum no earlier than 2025
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, elected to a three-year term just this past May, began laying the foundations for a nationwide referendum on transitioning Australia into a republic. In June, he appointed the country's first minister to begin looking into the process.
This past Sunday, however, he paused his timeline in deference to the queen and her passing, saying now is the time to pay tribute to her memory, not push for swift change. He has said he will not call a referendum in his current first term as premier. The next federal election is scheduled for 2025.
New Zealand: [Potential r]eferendum within prime minister's "lifetime" Like her Australian counterpart, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern supports her country's transition to a republic but, after the queen's death, said she will not push for that change at any time during her own government. "I've made my view plain many times. I do believe that is where New Zealand will head, in time. I believe it is likely to occur in my lifetime," she said. "But I don't see it as a short-term measure or anything that is on the agenda any time soon."[...]
Antigua and Barbuda: Referendum before 2025 Just after Charles was proclaimed king on Saturday, the premier of the tiny eastern Caribbean island country of Antigua and Barbuda said he will hold a referendum on transitioning to a republic and removing King Charles as head of state within the next three years.
Jamaica: Referendum before 2025 In March [2022], Prime Minister Andrew Holness made news of his intent for Jamaica to become independent directly to his guests Prince William and Kate, now the new Prince and Princess of Wales, on their official visit to the Caribbean island country.
