This may be a bit too fanfiction-y, it's not my intention for it to be but I know it probably falls into that category a bit, but I haven't been able to get this thought out of my head the past couple days and I'm hoping this is an ok place to share. With everything that happened leading up to Jimin and JK going to the airport, I couldn't help but remember another time when people were making threatening statements about Jimin and how, at an airport, as soon as an unknown person came near, Yoongi immediately went into 'cover Jimin' mode.

I have no desire to make serious issues into shipping fantasies, but I haven't been able to stop myself from occasionally wondering, if Yoongi had been at the airport with Jimin the other day, what would that have looked like? Would he have stayed close? (Instead of doing his power walk through the building lol) Would we see his eyes on and around Jimin more than normal? We've seen him take something like this seriously before, I can't help but wonder about what his reaction would have been (or even was) this time around.

Instead I’ll focus on the lovely yoonmin airport moments we do have, like the amazing one you mentioned, which says so much about how Yoongi feels about Jimin.

There have also been many, many times they matched.

And then there was the time they were in their own world.

And when they arrived in the same car.

And when they walked close and when they chatted.

And when Yoongi kept looking back at Jimin.

I’m so glad the guys got to Japan safely! I hope their return trip to Seoul goes smoothly too.

naira and melanie's beef was never really mainstream scandalous if that makes sense? like it was just something that happened that only the truly dedicated fans knew about. the actual hot mic clip is lost media now so it's just one of those things people bring up in their complicated theories about who does/doesn't like each other. the public has zero clue really. there's the off-hand comment where someone "jokes" about someone being a bitch with no morals and the fans just laugh? if the fans know, they don't care because it doesn't show in their interviews/group activities.
