if u know my baby atsushi with dazai and kunikida fanart, i wanna turn it into a series (not a comic (maybe) but a series nonetheless) and i wanted to gouge interest

what is baby atsushi?

well it all started with seeing a lot of baby atsushi's and ive always had a soft spot for aus like that so i decided to draw one (and struggled a lot) and eventually drew him a few other times and added pm dazai and ada kunikida as his parents/caretakers/whatever they have going on in canon/etc and in my head started to form something like an au where dazai and kunikida kinda co-parent baby atsushi

its not super developed, just vibes and fun times!!

There’s just something deeply disorienting about seeing Dazai act like a chaotic demigod of mischief 99% of the time, but then suddenly losing all composure the second that poisonous gas began killing the hostages in this week’s episode.

He yelled at Atsushi to stay back in a tone of voice we’d never heard before, then he psychically wrangled Kunikida away from the window, clearly afraid his partner would get himself killed. The gas could have harmed Dazai, too, if Kunikida had interfered, but I don’t think that was the point.

I think we’re just used to seeing Dazai ready for anything. I think we’re used to seeing him fight for the ADA, but not for individual people, and absolutely not in a state of panic or fear. To me, this is one of the first times we get a glimpse of how much Dazai actually cares for these two.
