For the ask game, you would make a 5k word breakdown essay/speech about your blurbo(s). The catch is you wrote it all in your head and don’t have time to physically record it (but all your hot takes are 100% valid)
NOW LOOK HERE-
its been a hot second so i had forgotton it was the 'make an assumption' and for a minute there i thought you could read minds O_o

okay this is the last straw im venting about this now
people who say they will do something, agree that at a certain time they will do the thing and it is important for them to keep their promise, and then IMMEDIATELY back out the moment you remind them "hey you need to come back and do this thing like you said you would so that i can do the next thing!". Those people get on my nerves. dont say you are gonna do something if you arent gonna do it. its one thing to forget its another thing to promise yes and then immediately say no after promising not just one but MULTIPLE people you would do the thing. hell even promising ANIMALS you would do something for them and then not following through.
it pisses me off but even worse the two people who could do something about it arent. mom is out doing a project and doesnt have her phone on her, i get that, but dad is sitting on the couch reading. hes the one who most wants it done! i tried to help! i fucking tried!!! but when i told him my sib wouldnt help he went "ugh. meh." and did NOTHING. so i was like "well guess i cant do the secondary task for you then!" and left bc its seriously stupid!!! if you want us to do things you have to follow through!!!!! its not my fault things fall through when you dont use your own authority.

Every day I think about how anti-recovery Arkham Asylum really is.
It's in this completely desolate area, with no plants, and no sunshine. It's built like a disorienting maze, making it pretty much impossible to navigate easily, and they have a habit of sedating patients whenever the mood strikes.
'But they're criminals!' some twat might say, 'They're dangerous!'
Yes. They are. Because they're not actively being cared for! Talk therapy doesn't mean much when they put the patient right back into a cage with all the other patients just an inch of glass away, and yeah I'm getting mad at a fictional institution again.

one of the most infuriating things about becoming an adult is when you realize that it actually is 10x easier to solve problems by making a phone call vs literally any other communication method

You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).
Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.

the way people online talk about autism is getting really weird, like do they know that neurotypicals still have interests? that someone being passionate about a hobby doesn't mean they're autistic? you guys know that right

Sometimes I wish we would start calling out the performative radicalism on this site for the poser bullshit it is. "Remember, it's always morally correct to kill a cop!" "Don't forget to firebomb your local government office!" "Wow, it sure would be a shame if these instructions on how to make a molotov cocktail got spread around!"
Okay. But you're not killing cops or firebombing government offices. You are posting on a dying microblogging website to a carefully-curated echo chamber that has radicalized itself into thinking that taking the absolute most extreme position on any subject is praxis but that anyone discussing the most practical way to effect actual change is your sworn enemy. You do not have the street cred OR the activist cred to be talking about killing cops, babe.
