Последний день пребывания в Покхаре у нас начался с того, что мы ранним утром поспешили к набережной, чтобы арендовать на несколько часов лодку и отправиться в небольшое турне по водной глади озера Фева. Аренда лодки стоит 510 рупий на час, 810 на полдня и 950 на день. Немногим дороже выйдет аренда лодки вместе с гребцом. Отчалив, сразу же погребли к острову Дракона. Существует легенда, что на озере обитал огромный и грозный дракон, не щадивший никого. Но как-то раз по какому-то недоразумению он проглотил мешок табака и умер. А ведь минздрав предупреждал. В итоге на останках дракона со временем образовался слой земли, на котором появилась растительность. А позже и индуистский храм Барахи, что привлекает сюда не только туристов, но и множество местных верующих. Храм посвящён богине Аджме, реинкарнированной из богини Оакти. Вроде как Аджма это ещё и одно из воплощений богини Шакти, жены Шивы. А ещё в русском сегменте всемирной паутины можно встретить информацию, что храм посвящён одной из инкарнаций бога Вишну. В общем, в этих индуистских богах сам черт не разберётся. Храм посещает много верующих, а по субботам здесь происходят жертвоприношения. Ещё здесь много голубей. Предприимчивые непальцы на территории храма продают корм, который, как мы думали, предназначен для них. Но когда отплывали от острова заметили просто бурлящую от огромного количества рыбы воду. Корм предназначался для неё. I won't spoil the ending but at one point they get crafty and you learn how to make your own paint! ⭐In Stormy Mountain (releasing May 2018!) they head back to the forgotten lands to help some colorful Sprites (they remind me of Rainbow Brite!) fix their weather machine. You will pick up weather vocabulary and learn about weather tools such as a Galileo thermometer and barometer as they solve the problem! ⭐These light hearted adventures are a combination of Magic Tree House and Saturday morning cartoons. There is a focus on family, friendship, teamwork, problem solving, and knowledge through literacy.
