✨i've been playing the sims 4 since it came out, nine years ago !! and i wanted to show off as many of my legacy founders (and heirs) as i found the time to makeover. list of their challenges below !!✨

ellie cahill + rhiannon irving ⭐ classic legacy gen6 heirs

i've never completed a full 10 generation legacy, but the closest i ever came to was my mahi'ai family legacy--link to plumtree in case anyone's curious--that i made probably about four or five years ago. both of these girls are cousins and were my next gen heirs, sharing the title, but i never played passed their teenagehood because my cc became outdated and then my laptop died 😔

gunnaifer glock ⭐ vampire legacy founder

okay gunnaifer is..she's special to me, ok. my first semester at college, as a joke i had two of my friends make vampires in the sims and then i made gunnaifer so we would each have a vampire. because vampires (technically) don't die, the legacy didn't get very far...but maybe someday i will share her heir, and apprentice, kovo'lettre.

sienna kibo ⭐"i'm surrounded by idiots" challenge gen2 heir

i don't remember much from this challenge other than it being a lot of fun, and showing me the extent of the parenting skill (lol). maybe i'll pick it back up with sienna, but it has stayed unplayed for years so...who's to say.

okay !! so cyra was created with a friend of mine a couple years ago, i think i played the challenge for about a week before outdated cc made me drop it (exactly like the classic legacy). cyra got to husband number 5 and she had 2 kids, and i don't remember her last name and i didn't write it down anywhere and i think that's both funny and sad. curse the game for automatically updating it when you get married !!! 😡

anika dreamer ⭐ nightmare legacy challenge gen2 heir

i don't remember much from my nightmare legacy, so when i opened it for the first time in a long time i was surprised to find all the sims i did remember had DIED. which. given the challenge made sense, but anyways so i revived anika to make her over. she had already completed her challenge and passed it on to one of her three sons, but she was a globally-renowned comedian and a stylish old lady. i love and miss her.

himiko kibo-tan ⭐ not-so-berry legacy gen3 heir

the one and only time i tried to do the nsb challenge, i got to himiko and i lost a lot of the motivation to play. i've thought about starting over, if not the whole thing than just generation three, but haven't gotten around to it. again, maybe someday !

rosalie ember ⭐ spellcaster legacy gen2 heir

THE LEGEND. im not even lying when i say that i spent multiple hours in the middle of the night, crazy out of my mind, trying to find this save. i must have deleted it for some reason ??? anyways, after accessing my old hard drive i finally found an older version of the save that had my baby rosalie in it. her makeover is probably my favorite. and yes, one of her parent's is morgyn ember. 🧙‍♂️

Summary: college!ellie au. Having once been close friends, Ellie and you begin to talk again while new feelings bloom and old ones return.

For the rest of the day concentrating was something you struggled with in all your classes, except for the last one as you slept through it.

Entering your dorm you properly brushed through your hair and re-did your mascara, not bothering to change your outfit.

“Going somewhere?”

You were surprised to see your roommate enter your shared dorm. The only time you seen lily in your dorm and at college too, was in the mornings when she would usually still be asleep when you woke up. You too weren’t very close but she was nice and started a conversation the rare time you seen her.

Smiling in greeting you turned back to your desk, searching for your assignment you had completed over break.

“I need to head down to the changing rooms. Ethan’s looking for the assignment Ms.Gilroy had us do over break.” You explained, still searching for the assignment, you were sure you had left it on your desk.

Lily let out an exaggerated gasp, “not the changing rooms! I can already smell the sweat. Oh Y/N save yourself!”

“I don’t fancy it either but I felt bad. Did you hear his mom was giving him a hard time? Something about not prioritizing education over sport.”

“Where was this bloody assignment? I literally seen it this morning!” you thought to yourself.

“Oh Y/N, is there anything I don’t know?” Lily flashed you a mischievous smile. It was true, Lily seemed to know everything about everyone. “Luke Smith got caught dealing this morning, Ellen Cahill and Brody were kissing and missing class together, Dean and Tyler were caught kissing in the bathroom, should have seen it coming to be honest, it’s always the homophobes, Ellie Williams broke up with Cat Taylor over break, Mia Jo-“

“Fucking found it!” you let out a breath of relief, a triumphant smile on your lips.

“Hey! We’re you listening to anything I said?” You looked over at her to see her glaring at you, arms folded.

“sure I was. Something about Luke getting caught, Ellen and Brody being together and Dean and Tyler being a thing.” You shrugged at her.

“oh but you weren’t really listening! Ellie Williams broke up with Cat Taylor, Mia Johnson cheated on Eric-Y/N!”

“Sorry! In my defence I barely know these people.” You tried to rationalize but Lily wasn’t having it.

Letting out a huff, Lily took out her phone from her jean pocket and sat criss-crossed on your bed. Sinking back into your pillows she started typing on her phone, you took that as a sign to continue getting ready.

“I thought you and Ellie were friends? Aren’t you a little interested in her breaking up with her girlfriend?” Lily looked up from her phone watching you with raised brows as she waited for your response.

Sighing once you realized Lily was infact not done with this conversation, you turned to her.

“sure we were friends a while back, but it’s been awhile since we’ve properly talked, like an actual conversation or hung out together.” You put on your jacket that was on the back of your desk chair.

“but close enough to be on her insta?” Lily raised one perfectly shaped dark brow. Smirking at you as she faced her phone towards you.

“You stalker!” you snatched the phone out of her hands wanting to see it for yourself. Sure enough there was a picture on the screen of you and Ellie. You never knew she had posted it.

Ellie was holding the phone away from her face. A large smile adorned her lips as she held her middle finger up, it was easy to tell she was happy in that moment. A hand you presumed as Jesse’s, held two fingers above her head in a peace sign position. Ellie sat between your legs on the leather couch, her head almost resting on your stomach. You were smiling too, leaning back on the couch also holding your middle finger up.

Looking down at the date you realized that photo was over two years old.

Handing Lily back the phone you plastered on a small smile.

“she probably doesn’t remember she has it up.” You concluded, lily only hummed, clearly unconvinced.

“I need to get going. Sooner I give Ethan the assignment, the sooner I can get into bed.”

The smell of odour hit your nose the moment you opened the doors to the changing rooms. It wasn’t as crowded as you thought it would be, only a few people scattered on the benches or at their lockers.

You could hear the shouts from the basketball court and the sound of the ball hitting the floor. You already decided this would not become a regular place to visit.

“Oh hey Y/N. You wouldn’t be here for Ethan by any chance?” a voice spoke up from behind you. A girl stood with a wide smile, long dark hair to match Ethan’s and bright blue eyes.

“hello Nora, and yes you would be correct. Ethan and I agreed to meet here to give him an assignment he needs to copy.” You only talked to Ethan’s sister, Nora, a handful of times but she was known around campus for being friendly and very smart.

Nora gave you a sheepish smile, “sorry Y/N but I’ve been sent here to tell you the idiot got a detention. He told me you would be waiting for him so he forced me to meet you so you didn’t think he was standing you up or something. “

You couldn’t help but laugh. You should’ve expected this. Ethan has gotten more detentions than anyone you know. You didn’t know how he had time for sports.

“That’s fine. Would you mind giving this to him?” you gestured to the folder that contained your finished assignment.

Nora took it from you with a nod, “sure thing.” She smiled to you then to the people behind you. “Hey Sam, Ellie.”

“hey Nora.” Two voices greeted the girl, one slightly more recognizable then the other.

Not wanting to come across as rude, you turned around and gave them a shy smile and a wave.

“you trying out for the team?” Sam asks you.

“god no.” you laughed, “I was supposed to meet Ethan but he got detention.”

“what’s new.” Sam chuckled shaking her head. She walked past you in the direction of her locker.

“shit is that the time?” Nora looked at the clock in alarm. Turning to you she promised to give the folder to Ethan before walking quickly to the door.

“That girl always seems to be in a hurry for something.” Ellie joked. It was now just the two of you, the atmosphere slowly becoming awkward.

“yet somehow never late for a single class.”

Ellie’s hair was tied back in it’s usual half up half down style, but a bit messier due to playing basketball. .

She was only wearing a black sports bra and her basketball shorts, her jersey clutched in her hands.

Your eyes lingered on the exposed skin.

“so are you and Ethan like dating or something?” Ellie awkwardly scratched the back of her neck, a nervous habit of hers.

You smiled at her before shaking your head, “not that I know off anyways.”

You couldn’t read the expression that briefly took over her features.

“I see.”

“mhm”

“I should probably change”

“I should be heading back.”

You two were left in silence once again.

“Goodbye”

“See ya”

You wasted no time getting out of there. Once you reached the door you let out the breath you didn’t realize you were holding.

Your mind brought you back to the picture Lily showed you.

How had things gotten so awkward between you and Ellie.

The Witch of the Joshua Ward House

The town of Salem, Massachusetts is no stranger to macabre record and disturbing legends, but for the first time perhaps something belonging to the towns supernatural facet has been caught on camera.

The Joshua Ward House has stood in mute witness to a dark history. The Georgian/Federal style building was constructed by Joshua Ward, a wealthy merchant sea captain, in the late 1780s on the remaining foundations of former sheriff George Corwin’s house on Washington Street. Corwin was a bloody figure whose zeal added to the unfortunate events surrounding Salem in the late 1600s. Nicknamed The Strangler after his preferred torture modus operandi (which included tying his prone victims’ necks to their ankles until the blood ran from their noses), he is said to be responsible for many of the witches deaths, including that of Giles Corey, a man who stood accused of witchcraft who Corey crushed to death by placing heavy stones on his chest in order to extract a confession. Despite the horrific treatment Corey never confessed, indeed he is said to have implored his torturers to pile on more rocks and hasten his departure.

Legend states that just before he died, Corey cursed Corwin and all sheriffs that follow in his wake for his despicable acts of barbarism. It should be noted here that every sheriff since Corey uttered his curse had died while in office or had been forced out of his post as the result of a heart or blood ailment. Corwin himself died of a heart attack in 1696, only about four years after the end of the trials. By the time of his death, Corwin was so despised that his family had to bury him in the cellar of their house to avoid desecration of the corpse by the public.

In the early 1980s a real estate company named Carlson Realty had bought the house with the intention of turning it into their headquarters. After moving in, a realtor by the name of Dale Lewinski began the task of taking photographs of the staff members to add to a welcome display. Lewinski was using a Polaroid camera to snap the head-and-shoulders, passport-style pictures. Upon photographing a colleague by the name of Lorraine St. Peter a peculiar sight greeted Lewinski.

The Polaroid was developed and, instead of showing St. Peter, it appeared to depict a frightening image: a strange, black-haired, feminine figure. St. Peter was nowhere to be seen, the photograph has not been cropped at all; St. Peter has been entirely replaced by the apparition.

This reproduction was originally published in the book Haunted Happenings by Robert Ellis Cahill (himself an ex-sheriff) in which he describes St. Peter as “both genuinely frightened and embarrassed by the picture.”

A hoax is of course, always possible, but unnecessary considering the rich nature of other paranormal occurrences that are reported to take place within the Joshua Ward House: aportation (objects moving of their own accord), candles that leap from their holders and subsequently melt, candles that are found bent into S shapes, alarms that go off by themselves (one alarm was triggered over sixty times in two years), phantom strangulations and the sightings of a myriad spirits including an elderly-looking spirit sitting by a fireplace and along with the photograph in questions subject, another ghostly woman roams the upper floors.

One room in particular seems to be more haunted than the rest. An employee would lock her office door nightly only to return in the morning to find books and papers thrown across the floor, the wastebasket upside down and lamp shades askew.

Sheriff Corwin’s body was eventually moved to the Broad Street Cemetery, but it is said that his spirit too lingers in the Ward House.

It is truly a bizarre photograph, certainly containing a degree of menace and so starkly strange as to create fright in the onlooker, especially upon first viewing.

Bunun üzerine Sokrates her zaman oldugu gibi soru cevap yöntemini kullanarak o talebeye önce sorar:

- "Bize söyler misin bilge olmak mı daha zordur yoksa cahil olmak mı daha zordur? "

Talebe:

- "Elbette ve hiç şüphesiz bilge olmak daha zordur.

Bilge olmak için çok okumak araştırmak ve yorulmak gerekirken cahil olmak için bir şey yapmaya gerek yoktur."

Sokrates:

- "Peki o halde bize yine söyler misin toplumlarda cahil insanların sayısı mı çok olur, yoksa bilge insanların sayısı mı çok olur? "

Talebe:

- "Elbette ve hiç şüphesiz cahil insanların sayısı fazla olur."

Sokrates:

- "Peki bize yine söyler misin, bir gemide yüz yolcu bulunsa, geminin nerde nasıl hangi yönde yelken açması gerektiğini kaptan mı daha iyi bilir, yoksa o yüz yolcu mu?"

Talebe:

- "Eğer yolcular içinde Denizcilik bilgisi olan yoksa pek tabi en iyi bilen kaptandır."

Sokrates:

- "Peki o halde diyebilir miyiz ki herkes her konuda karar veremez .

SOKRATES DEMOKRASİ'DEN NEDEN NEFRET Etti? Ya da Platon???

Bir gün Sokrates yine taleberiyle sohbet ederken bi talebesi Sokrates' e sorar ki:

- "Eğer demokrasi çoğunluğun kararını kabul etmekse, adil olan da bu değil midir?

Mesela yüz kişinin oy kullandığı bir yerde, elli bir kişinin kararına mı uymak daha adil ve doğru olur, yoksa kırk dokuz kişinin kararına uymak mı?

Hem çok mümkündür ki, daha çok insanın daha az insandan yanılma ihtimali daha azdır. Şu halde sizin demokrasiye karşı çıkmanız doğru olmadıgı gibi haklı da sayılmaz."

Bunun üzerine Sokrates her zaman oldugu gibi soru cevap yöntemini kullanarak o talebeye önce sorar:

- "Bize söyler misin bilge olmak mı daha zordur yoksa cahil olmak mı daha zordur? "

Talebe:

- "Elbette ve hiç şüphesiz bilge olmak daha zordur.

Bilge olmak için çok okumak araştırmak ve yorulmak gerekirken cahil olmak için bir şey yapmaya gerek yoktur."

Sokrates:

- "Peki o halde bize yine söyler misin toplumlarda cahil insanların sayısı mı çok olur, yoksa bilge insanların sayısı mı çok olur? "

Talebe:

- "Elbette ve hiç şüphesiz cahil insanların sayısı fazla olur."

Sokrates:

- "Peki bize yine söyler misin, bir gemide yüz yolcu bulunsa, geminin nerde nasıl hangi yönde yelken açması gerektiğini kaptan mı daha iyi bilir, yoksa o yüz yolcu mu?"

Talebe:

The Joshua Ward House

Salem, Massachusetts

Stately in its federal-style architecture, the Joshua Ward House, a historical landmark since 1978 is one that can actually claim relation to the Witch Trials. While Joshua Ward himself made his wealth from Salem’s port and sea business, it’s the location of the house, not the man who gave it its name which inspires the home’s notoriety. The Joshua Ward House is built over the site of the original home of George Corwin, the High Sheriff of Essex County in 1692. Corwin is notorious in Salem’s history as the man whose signature brought the arrest and execution of those in Salem village accused of witchcraft. Corwin also dis-seized many of the accused and condemned of their land, leading to his massive unpopularity following the hysteria. While this may not make him less culpable than the accusers and the ruling judges of the trials, Corwin is known for his cruelty in gaining confessions from the accused, most notably in the case of Giles Corey.

George Corwin died at age 30 (a fairly decent life expectancy for the time and place) of a heart attack. Curse-wise, it is said that every High Sheriff since Corwin has either died in office of a heart or blood condition or left on the same grounds. On the subject of the curse, I’ll refer anyone interested to Robert Ellis Cahill, a folklorist and former High Sheriff of Essex County who investigated the topic personally and professionally.

Following his death, Corwin’s body was not buried, a lien had been placed on it until one of the accused, Phillip English, had is dis-seized property returned to him. It was interred in the basement of his home on Washington Street by his family who feared reprisals from the townsfolk who reviled Corwin and other collaborators after the hysteria passed. His body was quietly buried later in the town cemetery. Both surviving evidence and local folklore suggest that Corwin had used the dis-seized properties to house prisoners.

Today the house, now a historical landmark and home to Higgins Book Company has been the site of unexplained phenomenon for some years. While it is not the subject of inspiration and tourism as the House of Seven Gables, the Joshua Ward house has seen its own fame in books on the collective hauntings of Salem and a comprehensive segment on the History Channel series Haunted History.

Reports testify to cold hands put on the backs of house employees, candles knocked over and twisted into S shapes, mysteriously locked doors, overturned furniture and cold spots. Pretty standard fare for many ghostly activities. Perhaps the most compelling piece of supernatural evidence comes from a Polaroid taken of a new agent when the house served as a real estate office in the 1990’s. The new associate posed for a head shot at the bottom of the stairs. A few minutes later when the picture developed, a black-dressed figure of a woman was clearly visible standing at the top of the stairs.

Without proof of no photographic tampering, it’s hard to call this evidence. One has to decide for themselves.

There are two entities who reside here who were innocent victims of the witch trials, perhaps looking for Sheriff George.

Entity of a woman with black, rather wild hair style. She is thought to be one of the victims unjustly executed. She isn’t a happy camper.

Her apparition has been reported roaming the hallways throughout the building.

When a photograph was taken of a Realtor for a publicity shot for the Carlson Realty, the angry image of this malevolent female spirit was caught on film, standing in one of the mansions hallways.

The male entity of Giles Corey A man falsely accused of being a warlock who was tortured and killed by the crushing rocks method of interrogation. Apparently, he isn’t happy either. He isn’t satisfied that his final curse has stayed with not only Sheriff George but has affected many sheriffs who followed in the years after his horrendous death.

Trash cans are found, turned over, books are pulled from shelves and rooms found in disarray.

Candles are taken out and melted.

Cold spots are felt in certain corners of certain rooms.

The entity of Sheriff George

An older male entity has been seen sitting in a rocking chair by a fireplace.

Back in the mid-1980’s, people have reported being choked by an unseen entity. This could be Sheriff George, trying to reclaim his authority or it could be one of his victims trying to show the living what they suffered.

Items are moved around the mansion.

Candles are bent into the shape of an S.
