Figure-rise Amplified The Legendary Exodia Incarnate

It's interesting that they're doing multiple releases for Yu-Gi-Oh! Amplified. And doing Exodia as the second release completely messes with what I'd predict from a line centered around iconic protagonist partners. Unlike Digimon, which has a set number of expected creatures to look forward to, Yu-Gi-Oh! has so many iconic monsters that I wouldn't even know where to begin guessing what they might do next. Even if you're only doing larger monsters, there're still half-a-dozen I can think of off the top of my head from the first series alone. And I'd love to see some of the later series dragons, like Stardust or Galaxy-Eyes. Personally, I have a lot of attachment to ZeXal and the Albaz Arc, so I'd be pumped to see anything from those eras. I guess only time will tell...

The Good: While this is very much a big-parts kits, there're still quite a number of interesting elements to it, such as the parts layering on the face and chest, some of the internal components, and the chains. It's also massive, rivaling the size of Mugendramon.

The Bad: For how many joints this guy has, he's not easy to pose. It lacks ankles, and there's no room for a stand, so it has to balance under its own power. Above the waist is ok, but it could have done with some alternate hands.

The Details: Unlike Blue-Eyes, Exodia is rife with opportunities for panel lining, and it brings out a ton of extra detail. There are also stickers for the blue behind the eyes and on the beard, which I replaced with paint.

Overall, Exodia is a big, fun kit, and feels much more worth its price than Blue-Eyes. While I do think it's great, I don't know if I can recommend it to someone who doesn't have some attachment to Yu-Gi-Oh! since he's... kinda creepy? And weirdly buff?
