Aaron: I ran into Ezra in the kitchen at 1 AM last night and when I asked him what he was doing, he just shrugged, said “These are my roaming hours,” and wandered off, strumming vaguely on his guitar.
Aaron: Whoa, whoa, whoa! What's all this noise? I thought we all agreed that The Bounty Hunters was going to be a light-hearted throwback to 90s alternative rock, not this mess of screaming into distortion.
Kai: Look, Aaron. Kit and I were talking, and Ezra agrees. Your attitude: just isn't working for us.
Kit: We've been a lot more productive without you.
Ezra: We already wrote an angsty song about the time you made us feel bad for not being handsome.
Aaron: You're kicking me out of the band?! Wait, who's playing drums?
Kit: Izzah said she would do it.
Izzah: I'm down for whatever. *twirls a drum stick in her hand*
Your body could build my grave, with leather and lace. You take all my breath away, with that face. Cause she's drop dead gorgeous, I think she knows it. I think she knows it... But if she ever left, I would just drop dead.
I animated Ashoakmaple's art of Tori and Ezra from Annette Marie's The Guild Codex! Song: Drop Dead Gorgeous by Voilà, perfectly recommended by this podcast!
the main character actually being relatable and not secretly superhuman stomping her way into the world of magic cause she's just that stubborn and broke
healthy relationships
books that feel like a really good fanfic, not from tropes, but cause the author doesn't think they're better or smarter than you
Tori: If you found out you have one day left to live, what would you do with it?
Ezra: Say goodbye and mend my relationships.
Zak: Something illegal.
Kai: Accept my fate.
Aaron: I would message 10 people on Facebook saying if they didn't forward this message to 10 people, I would die tomorrow.
Snuggling into the blanket, I popped another chocolate in my mouth, feeling spoiled as hell. I’d never admit it to Aaron, but I did have a favorite gift—and I didn’t plan to tell a soul which one I preferred.
The eve of Sabezra is upon us! In case it wasn't obvious I definitely plan to participate and I've been working hard on art for each prompt
**this is a warning** I will be reblogging and sharing every little bit of sabezra week works I can get my hands on. I try to space out posts/reblogs but you guys will be ✨️spammed✨️
If you don't want to be flooded with an unhealthy amount of sabezra works I'd suggest muting this blog for a couple weeks ^^
Also big thank you to the lovely people behind @sabezraweek for hosting! I got to participate in last year's sabezra week and it was a blast. Can't wait to see how much my art has improved!!
Tori: What you don't know about me, Ezra, is that I have mastered the art of doing important things at the last minute.
Ezra, standing in Tori's completely dark apartment: Except for paying the electricity bill.
Tori: That was Twiggy's job.
Twiggy: No, it wasn't!
I want to take a moment to pay tribute to Ezra's voice. Whether he is being mischevious:
“Kai and I are innocent of any wrongdoing,” Ezra protested. Despite his hurt tone, his meltingly smooth voice was as deliciously appealing as always.
...being deadly (deadly) serious:
Ezra’s voice was soft, quiet, and possessed that unshakable calm that always soothed my fear. “I have no choice.”
Kai’s throat moved as he swallowed. “I know.”
...trying to reassure Tori:
“Don’t worry, Tori. If a vampire ever bites you, our healers will know exactly how to fix it.”
His meltingly smooth voice rolled over me, soothing as always. Seriously, Ezra could convince me the earth was flat if he talked long enough.
...or trying to distract her:
“Tori.” With my name alone, Ezra’s silk-smooth voice lowered my anxiety levels by several degrees. “Here.”
I blinked at my laptop. “Huh?”
He set it on the counter and slid onto the stool beside me. “Let’s work on the new pub menu.”
... I find myself calming down and believing him as well. Ezra, my favourite 🧸! Can't you just feel his breeze soothing your warm cheeks?
Rowing the Rarepair Rowboat: Jaria | Jason DiLaurentis x Aria Montgomery (Pretty Little Liars)
Requested by @imtalkinnonsense
A black coffee is gently waved under Aria’s nose, successfully waking her. She opens her eyes to try to find it and is greeted by Jason smiling at her from the edge of her bed. In his hand is the cup of coffee, steam still pouring out of the lid.
“Hey, sleepyhead,” he says softly.
Aria hums in acknowledgment but reaches out for the coffee. He chuckles but hands it over, shaking his head fondly with a tongue in his cheek as she immediately takes a long sip. Not too hot to burn her tongue.
“Thought you’d be more likely to get up if I bribed you,” Jason says with a tilt of his head. “Guess I was right.”
“You didn’t have to,” she says, then clears her throat of the grogginess lingering behind. For some reason, Jason’s smile gets a little wider. “But you were completely right. Thank you.”
Jason shrugs like it’s no big deal, but she knows he got it from the coffee shop in town when he could’ve just made some in her parents kitchen if he really wanted to. She’s sure neither of them would have minded with how they’ve taken to him being here a lot over the last few months.
The reminder of why has her waking up the last little hit and pushing herself fully upright.
“I really appreciate all of this, by the way,” she tells him, turning serious. “You being here for me. I know it’s just because of everything with Alison as well, but—“
Jason shakes his head and interrupts with a frown. “That’s not true. I mean, obviously it’s part of the reason I want to see that scumbag in prison, but you didn’t deserve any of that either. I’m here because I want to make sure you’re okay.”
Aria takes a deep breath. She pushes through the odd feeling in her chest and smiles back at him.
“Then… thank you,” she says again.
“Are you sure about this, then?” Jason remains serious, taking on a more concerned note. “Testifying against Ezra today. I’ll be right there with you, obviously, but if you’re not feeling up to it, just say the word. Your parents will understand.”
She knows he’s right, of course. And yeah, she’s scared. Part of her is screaming to back out and not do it, wanting everything to just go back to normal.
The rest of her knows what she needs to do.
“I want to do it,” she says confidently, her mouth twisting in a grimace. “Thinking about everything he did… the fact that he knew the entire time…”
“Hey, it’s okay.” Jason reaches out when she can’t finish. Her eyes well up angrily as she lets him pull her into a comforting embrace. “He’s gonna get exactly what he deserves, okay?”
Aria nods. She closes her eyes and steadies herself with a few breaths while Jason gently rubs her back, promising that it’s all going to be okay. Funny how she believes him without a doubt.
