The whole “having sex with fat people is a fetish” thing always bugged me. Like why? Why does it have to be? How do I know if someone likes me for me or if it is a fetish? Is it a bad thing to be someone’s fetish? Lala breaks this down so easily in our conversation on the pod and it makes so much sense. What do you guys think about fat sex being a fetish? #fatsex #fatsexuality #fatfetish #fatactivism #fatliberation #bodyacceptance #sexmakesmeuncomfortable #conversationaboutsex #lovemysexy #fatandhot #fatandsexy #fatandsmart #fatgirlbookclub Reposted from @fatgirlbookclubpod https://www.instagram.com/p/CiyUwGjv0I9/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I’m so excited to announce that I am launching my essay collection “This Body of Mine” on @medium. This collection of personal essays explores how my experience of my body has shaped my identity and my spiritual, emotional growth. The first essay is up today, so head to medium.com/@thisbodyofmine to read it. I’ll be publishing a new essay every Monday until the entire collection is published. I’m launching this project as part of Medium’s partner program, which means that you’ll only be able to read a certain number of essays for free each month. I encourage you to become a medium subscriber, not just to support me, but to support millions of other writers getting their work out there on this platform. I can’t wait to share this entire collection with the world. It’s been a long time coming. #writer #writing #writingcommunity #essay #essaycollection #bodypositivity #bodypositive #fatliberation #fatactivism #bodyliberation #fatpositive #eatingdisorderrecovery #addiction #addictionrecovery #chronicpain #chronicillness #spoonie #spoonielife https://www.instagram.com/p/CBd53MKHZdL/?igshid=1ncn6v1wea2be

to all the people who pathologise & demonise the existence of fat bodies : that’s okay. We are all taught to internalise anti-fat bias. But that means we can unlearn it too. We can learn to internalise the belief that all bodies are good & valuable & worthy of basic human respect and decency.

Been thinking a lot about how fatness impacts my gender expression. Or rather, how other peoples perception of my fatness impacts how they interpret my gender. Fatphobia’s a bitch. People think my rolls, chest, curves, voice etc determine who I am and how they should refer to me. They think they have some sort of claim over my fat body. Im working toward a world where we are all able to be exactly who we say we are. Freely and safely. Im tellin’ y’all exactly who I am. Its time we respect that. . Check my story for links to shop this look✨ . #comfyfat #psblogger #plussizeblogger #plusmodel #bigandtallfashion #fatshion #celebratemysize #bodypositivebabe #fatbabesdoingthings #nonbinaryfashion #transandproud #genderqueer #bodyliberation #fatactivism (at Kansas) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bt94kNjAbB7/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=gh7c391x6hn9

FAT ASS Zine Issue #2 - Call for Submissions!
Tumblr media
Call for Submissions! FAT ASS is an intersectional queer/feminist zine that centers the experiences of queer and trans fat folks and celebrates the artistry, activism, and work of queer/tras fat activists. For issue #2 of FAT ASS, we’re looking for submissions celebrating Queer/Trans Fat Sexuality and Sensuality. We are seeking submissions that address the following themes (and more!): § Fat queer/trans self-love and stories about pleasure and sensual indulgence. § Celebrations of fat and queer/trans sexuality in drawings, illustrations, photography, collage, and other forms of art. § Intersectional analyses of media representations of fat sexuality with particular attention to race, class, nationality, and disability status. § Decolonizing fat, trans/queer/two spirit sexualities. § Erotic/sensual poetry, prose, short fiction that affirms and celebrates fat queer sexuality. § Activist projects that affirm and validate fat queer/trans sexuality for our activist spotlight section. § Healing from sexual trauma from the perspective of fat, queer/trans people. § Have an idea not listed here? Submit anyway! It is a myth that you must be a “good writer” or “good artist” to submit to a zine. We welcome many kinds of writing and artwork: essays, poetry, short stories, photography, doodles, rants, drawings, cartoons/comics, collage…and more! Send your submissions to [email protected] before March 31st, 2019. For written submissions, please use Microsoft Word and submit your writing in .doc or .docx format. (Please try to limit submissions to 1500 words. We are flexible. Let us know if you need a little extra space.) For artwork, please attach high resolution .jpg images to your email. All photography must be accompanied by the subject's consent. Please include a title for your artwork and feel free to share any information you think would be pertinent for readers to know about your piece (i.e.: medium, location, tools used). Contributors have the option of sharing a short bio or publishing their work anonymously. All artists and authors will receive a free copy of the zine. We vigorously affirm and prioritize the writing of Queer and Trans Black, Indigenous People of Color (QTBIPOC).

#Repost @with_this_body with @get_repost ・・・ Continuing some reposts from 2018 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Fat people are a fact of life, part of the fabric of humanity. There is evidence that we have existed for many thousands of years. We are here. There are many who would prefer fat people not to exist, but we are here regardless of whether or not we are allowed or supposed to be here. Fat people are as valuable as anyone else and our existence reveals important things about how societies operate.” -Dr. Charlotte Cooper #VenusOfWillendorf #FatActivism #FavsOf2018 #2018Favorites https://www.instagram.com/p/Bs9b1E9jJ0_/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=u6zkf0md23q4
