Visual Campaign Resources
As I have written a lot about some campaigns I have begun looking into, I also wanted to include some visual resources from those that I have found inspiration from or that have help to iterate my own ideas.
This is a campaign that was created to help influence positively through bright and bold colours. The thing that captured me the most about this campaign is that they had produced all this work three-dimensional out of wood, painted them and then constructed them together to create an illustration. I like the use of colours and patterns, made from shapes, they have used and I believe it helps to boost/improve the way that consumers purchase paint.
This campaign is about promoting awareness around Autism. It helps to shed light on the different behaviours and mannerisms that people with autism experience. What I like about this campaign is the use of illustrations in the design and the bold, expressive colours. I think that the colours are a great representation of Autism itself as they can make people with it loud, bold and unfiltered. With the illustration, it highlights the behaviours that people with Autism display, which people were not aware of.
This campaign was created by Tom Shepard for the company Dove. Their aim was to promote body positivity, to love the skin that you're in. The elements of the design that I like in this campaign are the colours that they have used as well as the handwritten aesthetic of the typography. I believe that this fits in well with the sensitive illustration design that he created and complements the colour palette that he is chosen. I think it is also interesting that he used peachy pink and orange colours combined with purple to represent the skin tones. This works effectively as blue and purple are analogous colours, this means that the match-up between purple and orange works well together.
This is a New Zealand awareness campaign trying to make a change in the way that Kiwis speak to one another. During/ After the pandemic, people had become very optioned about their feeling around covid-19 and from this, people have become aggressive and rude to one another. The aim of this campaign is to try and change the way that we speak to one another, online and offline, and to show some kindness to one another. I really like the website design that they produced, as well as the smart use of speech bubble illustrations and the soothing colour palette they used.
This campaign was created by Dave Bolland in Manchester for Foodival. He worked with Aldi to help to get people to eat healthier. He used the combination of illustration and photography to depict the fruit and vegetables as superheroes. This campaign aligns well with my interest in the healthy eating campaign. this could be a good concept to incorporate into my work as the Gen Z age gap is between 10-25 years old, this could be engaging for the younger part of this group. I could incorporate something similar to help engage the older section of Gen Z.

Foodival by Manchester student Dave Bolland is a fictional event in association with Aldi that hopes to get people eating healthier.
