Grog has noticed a number of peculiarities in Kakariko Village. Eerie lights flicker in the mountain valley. Murky black water fills the old stone well that no one uses. Golden spiders spin their webs under the eaves of abandoned buildings. Little does Grog know that the legendary Sheikah of Kakariko still live, and that they are watching.

Coming up with fangames can be so funny as the limitations of the 'normal' format aren't there:
I could Maybe almost double the amount of clothes Link can wear by separating his boots and gloves.
I could take the Great Plateau/Great Sky Island starting period of the BotW era games and just slap a couple dungeons in there.
I can bring back the Quiver and Bomb Bag and slap them into said dungeons, limiting (if not outright preventing) the use of arrows and bombs until you get them, and then Immediately outweigh that con with not only the ability to craft and Store special arrows and bombs but ALSO a Hero's Bow which while a solid if mediocre bow when it breaks it stays in the inventory able to be repaired.
I can vastly widen the number of elemental effects And add a Magic Meter, with the cost being another thing to upgrade at shrines And more Wizzrobes (and you Know that if the Master Sword is locked behind a stat its going to be Magic this time. I already have plans for how that'd work)
I can vastly widen the amount of weapon types and expand upon the combat system, maybe letting you do more than just Flurry Rush after a Perfect Dodge.
I can then make everyone hate me by giving the Yiga Actual Snipers. The Bowmasters sound cool until you get sniped in the head from way out of screen and die.

I feel more compelled to 100% majora's mask than I did ocarina of time, possibly because it presents itself more as a puzzle box than a straightforward adventure

LUtober Day 29: Skulltula
See the full collection on AO3.
“Bet you can’t knock those apples down,” Hyrule said, pointing at a cluster of apples near the top of the tree they were currently lounging under.
“I could shoot them down?” Wild suggested. A snack would be nice right about now.
“Why would you waste the arrows?” Legend asked.
“I bet I can get them down,” Sky said as he got to his feet. “You’ll all have to move though.”
After everyone cleared the area around the tree, Sky took off the Master Sword and handed it to Legend, then removed his sailcloth. He took a few steps back and lined himself up with the tree. Faster than anyone had ever seen Sky move, he sprinted towards the tree before ducking into a roll and slammed into it. Three apples fell, along with a giant golden spider.
The screams had Time and Wolfie running to where the boys had been goofing off, only to see Wild, Hyrule, and Legend shouting at what appeared to be a gold Skulltula. Sky was shouting back at them for shouting in the first place.
“What in the world?” Twilight asked as he shifted back and came up behind Time.
“Boys!” Time called, causing them to stop shouting and start talking all at once, pointing at the gold Skulltula that was spinning aimlessly.
“Oh, that’s right,” Twilight said, shaking his head, “Only half of us have actually dealt with Skulltulas.”
“Can you please tell them it’s not a big deal?” Sky asked with a sigh as he collected his items from Legend, who was still staring wide-eyed at the enormous arachnid. “It’s not even aggressive.”
“These ones aren’t, they’re just…” Time said as he pulled out his gilded sword and swung at the Skulltula. It disappeared in a puff of smoke and a small old token remained. “…for collecting these. I thought I got them all.” He tossed it to Hyrule.
Wild and Legend gathered around the traveler to look at the spider token. “So giant spiders are just no big deal to all of you?” Hyrule asked as he turned the token over in his hands.
“Oh that wasn't even a proper Skulltula, those are way bigger,” Sky said, “and meaner.”
Time just pinched his brow and sighed as another round of shouting began.

If you were to give the House of Heroes boys a Pokemon partner/team, who would have what?
Oh, I actually have an answer for that. A while ago, for fun, I came up with teams for all of them, with one rule being one legendary/mythical per Link. Here’s the list:
Wild: Milotic, Staraptor, Graveler, Luxray (the four champions), Metagross (guardians), and Miraidon (master cycle zero)
Time: Decidueye (ghost grass owl), Ninetails (Keaton), Rapidash (Epona), Trevenant (Great Deku Tree. Also ghost), Galvantula (gold skulltula), and Celebi (green time traveling fairy)
Sky: Sylveon (his feelings for Zelda), Drampa (the dragons), Excadrill (mogmas), Rotom (robots), Aegislash (Fi), and Ho-Oh (giant red bird)
Warrior: Incineroar (his cocky personality), Gallade (a chivalrous knight), Meowstic male (the scarf), Zoroark (Cia), Braixen (Lana), and Keldeo (a young one on a similar journey as him)
Wind: Gyrados (giant monster fish), Sharpedo (a nasty shark who was used by a pirate), Jumpluff (Koroks), Dragonite (Valoo), Tentacruel (big octos), and Lugia (deity of the sea who creates storms)
Twilight: Misdreavus (Midna), Mudsdale (Epona), dusk form Lycanroc (twilight wolf), Chandelure (poes), Gogoat (goats), and Zacian (dog with sword)
It was fun to come up with these teams! For the most part they were fairly easy to come up with. For Wind it was hard choosing between Lugia and Kyogre, but I eventually settled on the former.
Thanks for your ask!

just finished the ocarina of time on NSOEX. yes I did cry at the end but did not 100% the gold skulltulas or the shooting games. Way too finicky with the switch control.
I am also disappointed they used to censored version of the N64 game and not the upgraded 3DS skin (the superior remake). I ordered a converter so may hook up my N64 next year on my yearly play through.
Onto majora’s mask! I received an N64 wireless controller so I’ll let yall know if that makes a difference.

More Flat colored doodles, but more of Skyward Sword Zelda and Link. Along with Rauru from Ocarina of Time in his youth. In my play-through of the Legend of Zelda series and my personal take on the series timeline. [Mostly the story I have when playing the series to fit with the child-timeline, as this timeline holds the hero of time's lineage and I would like to think in this timeline the three timelines merge back into one]I like to think of Rauru, the sage of Light in Ocarina of Time as the son of Skyward Sword ZeLink. Born after his parents settled on the surface, forming a small Village close to the sealing temple. Not many of those Skyloftians settled in the forest with Link and Zelda. During the time of both Zonai and ancient Sheikahs, but the relationship between the Sheikah and Zelda’s bloodline wasn’t as strong as yet. Unlike the relationship they hold with Zelda of TotK era. One day while out hunting with his father, Rauru saved a young Sheikah chief’s youngest daughter. As a small swarm of gold skulltulas spiders had cornered her in the forest.
Tumblr media
Through his relationship with this Sheikah, Rauru’s powers to which he inherited from his mother. Gained him the title of Sage of Light. Until a time a war broke out between the Sheikah and the Zonai over the triforce. A relic that was left to Rauru  to protect by his parents’ past adventure, causing the Zonai to create replicas of the relic. Upon sealing himself in the sacred realm, with the aid of his father’s sword. Rauru was able to seal himself and the triforce away, trusting the stones to open the door of time to his bride. Same Sheikah he saved in his youth, to which she entrusted to the other races the Sheikah had ties with. Despite sealing himself away with the triforce, the war continued until the arrival of Light Spirits from Twilight Princess. Sealing away all the Zonai that used the replica stones into the Twilight Realm, only a few were spared.

My fav characters in Hyrule Warriors that I have played as.
Impa, Sheik, Zelda, Ruto, Midna, Twilight Midna, Fi, Linkle, and Cia.
I really like that Ruto has a nice dress that is fused with her body, looks nice.
Also pretty wild that Cia has such massive sex appeal.
I personally like Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition more than Age of Calamity, because it isn't just 1 Zelda game's characters.
Also I really like the Adventure Maps in the game fun times, however getting gold skulltulas are more annoying than finding Anna in Fire Emblem Warriors, because it just gives you the general area of where it is.
Another thing that sucks is that you really need to get S ranks on all the battles, because so many battles require you to get S ranks to unlock characters and costumes.

Legend of Zelda Theme Park - Odds and Ends
Here are a few ideas for the theme park that didn't fit into the area-by-area descriptions, either because they apply to the whole park or because it was too much detail for the simple summaries.
Phone App Minigames
I've made a few references to these over the course of the theme park posts, but never gave any specifics. So here are some of those:
Scavenger hunts. How many Zelda games include a "catch 'em all" sidequest? Several, that's how many. The premise of this is quite simple: Some number of a small creature--Koroks, Gold Skulltulas, baby Maiamais, or whatever--are placed around the park, and if you can find and photograph them all, you can get a prize! A combination of signal transmitters and image recognition would ensure the legitimacy of the photos.
Music apps where you look for certain signs and symbols to let you know there's a secret here to be triggered if you play the right song. The effects might be flickering lights, sliding panels in walls or rock faces to reveal a unique sight, etc.
Merch
Throughout the writeups, I've described the unique shops and their unique lines of souvenirs to some extent, but what about simpler, more universal Legend of Zelda goodies that could be sold anywhere in the park? Here are a few fun ideas:
Bag of rupees. How can you be a proper adventurer without your own supply of Hyrule's currency? The way I see it, the bags would come in different sizes at different price points, each containing a fixed number of 1-inch resin rupees, but randomly selected colors--you never know what you're going to get until you open the bag. "Higher-value" rupees are naturally rarer--they can't actually be exchanged for anything, but it mimics the in-game value and rarity.
Fantasy ear headbands. You could get "elf" ears (in a variety of skin tones) and be a Hylian, Gerudo, or Sheikah, "fin" ears to be a Zora, or even big floppy goblinesque Bokoblin ears!
Collectibles from the games. Think Wind Waker's Spoils or Skyward Sword's Treasures--small, distinctive items that must be collected in some numbers to be useful and are not necessary to complete the game.
Food and Snacks
Hard candy rupees. Pretty self-explanatory--just don't get them mixed up with your toy rupees from the blind bag!
Kinstone sugar cookie 2-packs. Two half-cookies frosted with red, blue, or green icing and with part of the Minish clover emblem piped on.
Triforce corn chips. These come in three flavors--Power (chili), Wisdom (blue corn and flax seed), and Courage (avocado). Bags are single-flavor or all three together.
The "Desert Menu." Okay, this is just silly. I thought the dessert menu at the Royal Banquet Hall should have every item named and themed after a desert area from the LoZ franchise. So there would be the Gerudo Dessert (melon sherbet with whipped cream and raspberries), the Lanayru Dessert (crumble cake with buttercream frosting and sanding sugar), the Dessert of Mystery (ultra-dark chocolate mousse cake), and for large parties, the Dessert Colossus (a huge multiflavor ice cream sundae).

The shops in Ocarina of Time scams and time wasters. If you want resources, you can find them by cutting patches of crabgrass or throwing rocks. The Happy Mask Shop in Hyrule Castle Town Market is legit, and someone in Hyrule will give you something amazing if you play your cards right, but it's a lot of work (still worth it). I'd wait those out for a bit though.
The House of Skulltula will give you a lot of good stuff for every 10 gold Skulltulas you kill. Once you get 30 total and reap the rewards, there's a couple ways to snag in some big money.
AND STOP TRYING TO ROB THE ROYAL FAMILY!!!
Thanks for the tips! <3 Also-

Wulf, do you think you could best Lita in a footrace?
Wulf laughed. He laughed hard, for a good ten seconds or so.
"Beat my sis... Not a chance! She's the fastest! Not just at fighting, but she can run too! And she can run a long, long time, too!"
He wiped a tear of amusement from his eye, still chortling. "I don't fight or anything. My sister gave me a slingshot to defend myself with, but I mostly just mess with people with it. Maybe I could shoot a rock at a bokoblin if Sis is around, or pick at a smaller monster, but nah." He shook his head. "I heal folks pretty good, though. When Sis gets beat up bad, I fix her up like nothing."
(Wulf's healing powers could be said to be on par with Mipha's. He's not nearly as well-known as the Zora princess, and it's his only great skill aside from mischief. And collecting gold skulltula tokens.)
