Colour

They painted the wall green in summer. It’s been needing a new coat for quite a while, and after endless quarrelling, a shade has been selected. Green, like your eyes, Draco smiled, and green, like your scarf, Harry said back. They laughed and laughed and bickered some more, and in the end in the shop with the impatient clerk they decided, this. This is the colour we need in our house, in our lives.

(This, Draco said, taking Harry’s hand in the parking lot: this is the colour).

It looked different on the wall than it did on the screen. It looked different than what they had planned. (It was summer, and green, green).

It took ages to paint. Mostly because Harry was too busy horsing around (and this had better come off in the shower, Draco yelled, and roared after him). Mostly because it was the weekend, and they had time in spades, loads and loads of it to do as they wanted, as they dared, so they covered the whole floor in newspapers and made a huge mess.

(This, Harry said, chest burning with the feel of it: this is the colour).

It smelled sort of brilliant. It looked like a forest, like the sea. (Like your eyes, Draco said. Like your school tie, Harry replied). It was summer, and green-green as a fresh start. It didn’t even matter that it was green: could’ve been blue (like the jumper you always wear, like your first car) or purple (like the flowers you planted, like the frosting you made) or yellow (like your mustard, like the cover of your favourite book).

All that mattered was this: hands and laughter and bickering. Making a decision, seeing it through. That this, this, was the colour they needed, that they now had.

P.S. : Lol. I got this idea today like literally today and then thought of getting started but now I am kinda confused about something whether I should continue this one from buaji's POV only or I should write from all the characters' POV's. Let me know. And also ket me know ki yeh kuch samajh mein aaya bhi ki ekdum kachra kar diya hai maine. Lol :') Ok so I should have added this bit in the beginning but nvrmnd *shrugs* So I have considered double 'a' for आ sound, double 'o' for ऊ sound, double 'e' for इ sound and single 'a' is for अ sound, rest if you find any kind of confusion, please feel free to ask for help, considering this is not regular Hindi so :) Ok. In Japan it is already officially June 26th and I wanted to go ahead to upload this since I finished the drawing earlier than I thought ^^"

I based myself on several songs as you can see, although my main dam was in the PV cover of @pierrotsdrawer for Gumi and Yuuma's outfist, some clips she has shown on Twitter, even a cameo of her! x3

Originally I was going to do a comic that would continue the one I did last year...but I couldn't because of the whole class thing and last semester to finish (talking about that now, I'll catch up on that ;u;)
