I absolutely love Queen of Tears. Great acting. Great plot. Love the comedy. And it is also bringing out the internalised Misogyny of people. I see people hating on Hae in. And I don't think people understand that this is a typical CEO romance and the only thing that has changed is the gender. Which means all the things you're hating Hae In for; like lack of communication, noticing the lover after some major changes etc etc, are the same things you see in a man and you go "oh my gods he was in so much pain 🥺".
Because Hae in is a typical chaebol. The only difference is she's a woman now. And you expect her to be more nurturing, more caring, more communicative than the man. And that's why you hate her. Big deal people. She's human. She has her flaws. We're seeing her character grow.
Another classic comic moment in today's episode. Nothing like having a beautiful man at your feet, starring up at you lovingly, as if you were the only woman in the world, to improve your day.
I'm literally obsessed with this girl never walking a day in her life. She has levitate, she has vortex warp, she has fly, I think she has something else but the point is, this girl does not touch the ground if there is someone else around, specifically a man. Childhood love and ex?betrothed, Hyun-Woo does not need to be asked twice. Also, who let the pre-teen play with anti-matter?

Ah pasta pasta pasta. This is an oldie, somewhat classic from 2010. I always had mixed feelings about it. For me Lee Sun Kyun is an awesome amazing actor so it came to no surprise he was also excellent in this as well. He plays the hardass borderline hateful (think Gordon Ramsey but much worse since he has a thing against women) new appointed chef of a Italian restaurant. You’ll either hate his character or not since his character is written well douche’ Then you have Gong Hyo Jin who in my opinion plays the same character over and over again in dramas as the meek naive idiotic bashes eyelashes innocent wide eyed “who me” look character. She’s the assistant pasta cook. Sometimes I like her acting. In fact one of my all time favorite kdrama’s is ‘It’s Okay That’s Love’ which she’s the leading lady. It’s just 90% of the time she plays these characters where I try so very hard to like but I usually end up dropping or fast forwarding through. 🤷♀️ This was a fast forwarding one. I loved the storyline but oof her character. Everything else was great in the sense it’s your average romcom drama. It’s cheesy, predictable, and corny.
