Here's Kim Possible as a genie.  This is actually inspired by a piece I've seen long ago though I swapped the colors for an "I Dream of Jeannie" palette. Kim Possible belongs to Disney. As always comments and critiques are welcome.

One of my trickiest miniatures to date, the inside of Jeannie’s bottle from “I Dream of Jeannie” for my mom’s birthday! Foam board, fabric, glue, ribbons; tiny Major Nelson ink painting by me, tiny tea set from a local antique mall, chandelier from Michael’s.

Time for a little six fanarts challenge, the TV Shows Edition!
They may seem a bit random to you, but what these six tv shows have in common is that I can watch and rewatch them like a kid, over and over again, and never get tired. Not to mention knowing basically the name of every episode and most of the dialogue :D
Oh, if only I had Wanda’s powers... 😆
There are others that I love as much as these six, so I’ll be working on a new batch of favs for the next challenge. Hint: some of them are black and white, some of them involve time travel, some of them take place on the final frontier and some of them may or may not revolve around a red smiling face. Oh, let’s not forget some violins and a pipe.
What about you? What are your absolute favorite, most beloved, top of the top tv shows ever? 📺

When you're co-stars ...
Co-stars in general do not touch their co-stars face.
Example, Bewitched. (1964-1972)
From Season 1 Episode 2. Samantha and Darrin tend to be very affectionate throughout the entire series but Elizabeth Montgomery's hands are either around her co-stars neck or elsewhere.
It's true of both actors playing Darrin. Shown here is Dick York.

Second one from the same episode.

Many actor's are reluctant to have a co star place their hands on their face.
Second example is I Dream of Jeannie (1965-1970). As tv shows go from the sixties, the actors playing the leads are very affectionate similar to the leads on Bewitched. But again notice the hand placement of Barbara Eden as Jeannie with Larry Hagman as Tony Nelson.
They are around his neck. Not on his face.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But in one episode notice the difference. Barbara Eden at the time was married to the actor on screen with her. Jeannie ii with a character played by Michael Ansara. She places her hands on his face.
Tumblr media
Big difference. She eventually has them around his neck and the kissing is a rather long sequence. Hmmm, she was married to the dude.
But these two. Well. I rest my case.

The combination of suspense, and the sitcom style is not only lovely but excellent to narrate the story. It’s hard to see such a great character like Wanda go through one tragedy after the other, from losing her family, the stress of war, losing her brother, than the person she loves. If you think about it, her situation is really tragic, either pain was so unbearable that she created her own world to force herself to be happy in a myth, or she was forced there against her will and is being manipulated through compensations (having vision back) to stay there. The sitcom narration gives a good comic relief and makes it easy and amazing to watch even with the tragic background. A great idea from Marvel Studios!
