actually yes, just nothing done yet. had a really emotionally difficult end of last year/start of this one and i’ve only recently started crawling out of some intense writer's block. on one hand i don’t want anyone to get too excited since i’m still writing super slowly, but on the other maybe that’ll help me stay motivated lol current active drafts:

-luxuria triplicate one shot side story

-the drift one shot side story featuring an aspiring father figure

-meanwolves stuff (sawyer's up next)

-two different original alien stories (a very long one shot and a probably multichapter fic)

-two different jjk fics, one of which is gojo love triangle miseryporn

Irondad fic ideas #105

AU where Peter is Tony's biological son and his real name is Thomas Stark. When Tony finds out about Spider-Man they have an ugly fight ending with "Peter" disowning himself and dropping off the map. He finds shelter with the Parkers and becomes Peter Parker

Tony tries to find him but Peter knows how to bypass their technology. For almost 20 years Tony thinks he will never find his son beyond pictures of him in costume

One day a social worker and the police show up at his house with three children. They tell Tony that his son died in a car accident along with his wife, and these children are his grandchildren, who will now be in his care

(During the last nearly 20 years Tony moved to a mansion upstate, retired as a superhero, and married. A few months before the police arrived Pepper also died)

The children are 11-year-old twins May and Ben and 5-year-old Annie. Heartbroken at the prospect of his son being dead, Tony tries to get away from these children who remind him so much of his son. Meanwhile, the children explore the Stark estate and its family, and May faithfully believes that her father is still alive and that the accident was a hoax created by someone greater, and clashes with her grandfather to get answers. And, the Ross-funded, post-Sokovia SHIELD tries to encourage and pressure Tony into giving up custody of the children

Tony reflects on his actions as a father and what he could have done better, bringing him closer to his grandchildren

“Eddie and I kissed at the engagement party the other night.” He says just loud enough for her to hear.

That is clearly not what she is expecting him to say as her jaw goes slightly slack, eyes wide behind her glasses. She quickly shuffles into the ambulance and closes the door to give them as much privacy as they can have in a fire station.

“You and Eddie kissed?”

“More than once,” Buck says with a little sniff and a slight shrug to his shoulder, “and I thought, maybe, it meant we could, you know, be together.”

“What happened?” She asks, still a little in shock about the kissing revelation.

“Eddie kind of ran away,” Buck laughs hollowly, a sharp pain of a sound that makes his chest hurt, “and then, well, he—he said we just got caught up in a moment.”

“You know the other boy from my district?” Eddie asks, “Buck? I think he saved my life, but I’m not so sure since he was with the Careers.”

“He’s not anymore.” Denny says. “I’ve spied on their basecamp by the lake. They made it back before they collapsed from the stingers, but he wasn’t with them.” Denny tilts his head to the side. “Maybe he did save you and had to run away.”

“It’s probably just all part of the star-crossed lover act,” Eddie tries to say with an air of indifference and a roll of his eyes, but his gut twists as he says the words, “you know so people think he’s in love with me.”

“Oh,” Denny says earnestly, “I don’t think it’s an act.”

Eddie feels a blush creep across his cheeks. It can’t be real. Buck is just pretending. He’s playing his part. Eddie remembers thinking about how Buck is the most dangerous player in the game. Well, now Eddie is dangerous too.

I finished act 2 again, but properly this time. and I cannot even begin to put into words how satisfying and beautiful all of that was. I loved act 2 the first time I played, but figuring out how to save the last light this time, properly completing halsin's quest, storming moonrise towers with jaheira and her harpers, seeing aylin reunite with isobel...all of it. I love it even more. and the beginning of act 3 feels all the more rewarding, having fixed my past errors.

I can't believe I missed so much the first time I played.#but at least having messed up the first time gives me a greater appreciation for the full story.#I did the “lift the shadowcurse” quest SO assbackwards last time I missed like. 90% of halsin's act 2 dialogue.#he IS cute. I am just STUPID. and learned nothing from dunking on gale before- when that was ALSO my own colossal mistake.#jaheira also gets such a badass moment of glory if her harpers as still alive. if you lose last light like I did before...#...god the assault on moonrise feels so...depressing. I felt so fucking bad for her the first time I played.#but I thought that you couldn't save isobel! and that's just what was supposed to happen! fool was I!#oh and if your tav fails the perception check on mizora when she first sends wyll to rescue zariel's asset- HE renegotiates his contract!#which I like better? I like when the companions get to choose their own fate! I like wyll taking a stand for himself! it was awesome!#and well. if corydalis used his outrageous charisma stat to push mizora into giving wyll a funky new sword? that's just friendship <3 #the relationship between aylin and isobel is beautiful. I'm so happy that I replayed to save isobel. I much prefer seeing aylin happy :)#barcus. barcus. barcus. I want to criticise you but I'm in love with astarion so. can I really talk???#well maybe /I/ can't. but corydalis is Aware and playing mental manipulation chess with astarion. out of pure intent. but still.#join our polycule barcus. please. we will treat you better.
