As far as the non-theatrical version of events, I don't have much because I was trying to figure out the realistic childbirth mod options and have these twins all in real time (first time using the mod).

Anyway, I guess the real reason Hope wanted to go home is because she passed out at the birth center. Child went into labor while both the hunger AND energy bars were in the red. Yes I cheated to keep her awake enough to get in that damn pool.

Then I had to catch Jay giving sexy face while his wife labors in the background as if to say "Yeah, bitches, I did that."

Anyway, I was screaming when I finally got to see a pale-green Jackson and a sweet baby Jayde. There *WILL* be a time skip so prepare yourselves.

hi! i'm doing great thank you for asking ♡ in order to recolor the milk pump like i did here:

you have to open S4Studio and: 1. unmerge the childbirth mod package & locate the "milk pump" and "milk pump prop" files. then put these 2 files in the S4Studio's Mods folder. 2. open S4Studio again, check override, and then click "object"

3. make sure you have "custom content" and "show debug items" ON

now you can find both of the milk pump files & recolor them, they'll be override packages which means you won't have to do this process everytime you update the mod, just make sure you keep those 2 files! you can also keep the initial merged version of the mod, you don't have to keep the one you unmerged!

I don't know where, I don't know how, I reached out to her for an ask, and was told by Artemis she'd died in childbirth with the twins. He looked at me like I was crazy, like I should know this.

Am I crazy? Has it always been this way?

No... I just looked at the books. Those haven't changed. Angeline was taken. Or killed. I don't know. How did this happen? MOD is gone.. right? I guess it could be some automated system still running behind the scenes...

I have to-- we have to stop this. Who knows who is next.

I don't dislike this screenshot so much but it's my least favorite for the fact that it's the old elowen. this was right before I gave her a makeover to use her in tjol so it's just kinda weird to see now.

I absolutely love this picture, this was my first time playing with the childbirth mod and the interactions are just too cute 😭 the least favorite sim in question is lark fable (on the left) she's not necessarily my least favorite sim ever but she's my least favorite from sims I've done gameplay with recently (although she's not quite recent anymore)

Sidenote: I know that some simmers consider the "death by childbirth" mod to be "problematic." I honestly don't understand how is it different from the vanilla death from illness or any other type of death. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I just wanted to explain why I'm using this mod. I like having consequences in this game, and I'm bad at creating drama to keep things interesting, so the mod doing it for me is really helpful. The chance of this death is quite low, I edited it to fit the longer lifespan I have in my game. But I like the possibility of unexpected things happening.

After the Dragonborn and Kaidan get married and are all cute, ldb dies during childbirth. How does he respond?

Poor poor Kaidan. Literally the happiest moment of his life turns to ash in an instant. It's horrible. He's so distraught-absolutely heartbroken that he lost them. Without warning. Just like that.

The ldb's closest companions are there and obviously they're all processing this too, but they're trying their best to be there for him.

Then the healer hands him the child, their child, and it already hurts because he can see how much they're going to look like his ldb. The pain doesn't go away but he reaches this realization that this tiny little thing is going to depend on him.

He remembers what it was like to have a guardian that was always looking past him-too embroiled in their own pain to realize that they were needed. He wasn't going to be like that.

The baby anchors him, gives him purpose. They are quite literally the only thing that keeps him from plunging into this inescapable abyss of despair. With this responsibility, he's able to move forward.

And eventually Kaidan accepts help from his friends because he needs that support, and he knows that the ldb would have wanted them all in their life. That kid grows up so incredibly loved, man. It's tragic and unfair how they were brought into the world, and I don't think Kaidan fully heals from it, but he's able to build a life for the two of them and it's a pretty damn good one.

you play the sims?! 3 or 4? do you use mods at all, and if so, which one? do you keep sim autonomy on or off? sorry for the barrage of questions, it's just exciting to meet someone else who's into them :D

oh my god yes!! sims is one of my biggest obsessions and i don't know that many other people who play (or at least who are as into it as i am) so i'm thrilled to talk about it!!

i will start by saying that my WOT sims shenanigans tag may interest you haha although i forget if you've read the books or not, so be warned of potential book spoilers in my commentary on the behavior of my WOT sims!

anyway, nowadays i exclusively play sims 4. i loved sims 3 back in middle/high school, but i didn't play it for ages after 4 came out, and when i went back to try 3 again a couple years ago, i just couldn't do it haha i know some people like to hate on 4 and yearn for the glory days of 3, but as someone whose favorite aspect is building stuff and creating sims, i prefer 4 because it's MILES better in those respects. i do have fond memories of many hours spent playing 3 though!

then for mods, i try not to go too crazy because i play on my laptop which only has so much storage space, but by now i've acquired QUITE a stash of custom content despite myself (mostly clothes & hair, not as much build/buy stuff). i don't use too many actual gameplay mods though, the only big ones i have are mc command center, lumpinou's open love life mod to allow poly relationships, and pandasama's realistic childbirth mod to add some more depth to pregnancy. romance & family gameplay is my favorite type of gameplay, so those are the areas i'm most likely to download mods for! i also have a few other small mods such as a dating app mod and choosing your own university roommates, just kinda some quality-of-life improvements but nothing majorly game-changing. i've also been getting into pose mods in the past year so that i can stage nice photos of my sims to hang up around their houses!

i keep sim autonomy on, i like giving them the free will to be able to take care of themselves without me needing to specifically command them to do every single thing haha and it keeps things interesting when they're able to take it upon themselves to do something unexpected! (not that i won't go "nope you're not doing that" and cancel the action if i disapprove of it too much djkfgj)

oh i am also curious to know whether you're an aging on or aging off type of simmer? historically i've always been 100% aging off, i've always done rotational gameplay rather than legacy gameplay and so i prefer to keep aging off and just repeatedly make new households within the same world and have my new sims become friends with my sims from the previous households i dropped after getting bored with them, and everybody lives forever and ever until i eventually feel like the world is too crowded and start a brand-new save file. however, just recently i've been playing with aging on in a separate save file because i'm trying a legacy challenge for the first time! it's the whimsy stories challenge and i'm on generation 3 now and am having SO much fun. i definitely can't see myself switching to legacy gameplay forever now, i do still prefer rotational, but it's nice to have one save file where i'm changing it up!

to conclude, i will put in a few screenshots of some of my favorite sims from the past year or so just because i love them so much and want to show them off as if they were my children djkfg please do not feel obligated to read all my rambling about my children! but if you have any favorite sims or storylines that you've done i would love to hear about them!! it's always so interesting to hear what kinds of storylines other people like to go for, it's either "wow you're just like me fr!" or "wow you're playing a totally different game than i am (affectionate and impressed)"

i will preface this by saying that 1) i don't play on super high graphics because i don't want to kill my laptop, so pardon the screenshot quality if any of them don't look great, and 2) half the male sims i've made this year have been redheaded boytoys and i 100% blame rand al'thor for that. moving on!

first, my 3 whimsy stories heirs so far! eva (gen 1, eco nut), iris (gen 2, professor & super parent), and kiara (gen 3, disaster hoe). if/when i finish the whole challenge i'll probably do a post about all the generations because i'll be so proud of myself for getting through it all haha but for now i'll add pics of each of their families as well! for eva and iris it's the final family pic i took before moving on to the next generation, but i'm still halfway through kiara's generation so this is a mid-series pic from her big fat poly wedding.

in whimsy stories i waited all the way until gen 3 to introduce a redheaded boytoy into the mix, can you believe it? i did not exercise such restraint in the rest of the households in this post.

next, literally just discount rand and mat, i have no excuse. discount mat is named jamie (personality-wise he's not mat-like though, he's a writer) and discount rand i straight up named josha djkfgj to be fair i actually based him off of josha's character in a gay dutch romcom rather than off of rand because i was like "you know what? gay punk jock with a buzzcut is not a genre of sim i've done before." anyway, josha struggled in his life for a while due to having no job and no friends and being a hotheaded loner who is very bad at making new friends, but eventually he became a husband and a dad and a college grad and i was so proud of him!!

rich single mom natasha acquired a boytoy (eoin), as she should, and had a friends-with-benefits-to-lovers arc with him. yes i did make these sims immediately after watching the randfear storyline in wot s2, why do you ask? also, random picture of a family power walk because i thought it was adorable haha

her daughter anya had a kickass girlsquad in college and ended up marrying one of them. oh my god they were roommates!

1. What’s your favorite sims death? I personally never experienced this death while playing but the "running with scissors" death in the Sims 2 is hilarious and also disturbing lmao.

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? I always use Maxis Match for hair but the rest is more Maxis Mix.

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? Never have and don't plan to do so in the future!

4. Do you use move objects? I'm not a builder but as soon as I change to buy/build mode move objects needs to be activated lmao

5. Favorite mod? Probably MCCC but I also love Wicked Whims/Wonderful Whims. For CAS the more CAS Colums mod is nice. I also enjoy the Realistic Childbirth Mod a lot!

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? I got them in release order besides the Werewolves pack, still not sure whether I'll get it or not.

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? aLive mode :D

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I don't really share much about my sims here (I probably should) but I actually really love the girls of my simblr band I created for the Edgewavefest event right now.

9. Have you made a simself? Nope, never even tried. :D

10. What sim traits did you give yourself? Hmmm probably Creative, Art Lover (I could stare at surreal paintings for hours) and Cat Lover. Goofball or Socially Akward would fit too I think.

11. What is your favorite EA hair color? That's hard. The jet black one is nice and I also like the new very light blonde hair color.

12. Favorite EA hair? Might be weird but I like to use almost all of the slicked back male hairstyles.

13. Favorite life stage? I like all of them except for the baby stage, that one is...rough lmao. I surprisingly enjoy the elder stage a lot.

14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? I actually hang out in CAS mostly but I'll try to get more into gameplay soon! I have a sort of love-hate relationship towards Build Mode. I really need to be motivated to sit through building a house without quitting :'D

15. Are you a CC creator? No, I only do some basic recolors from time to time for my own game.

16. Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad? I'm not sure actually. I have some people here I connect with more often then others I'd say.

17. What’s your favorite game? When it comes to the Sims franchise it's definitely Urbz for the GBA. I played it religiously as a kid and I still do sometimes C: My favorite Non-Sims games are Rimworld and the Dragon Age games.

18. Do you have any Sims merch? Nope

19. Do you have a YouTube for sims? Nope again

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? I started out avoiding mods at all costs and now I can't play without them. In terms of gameplay I now play a lot more families than I did a few years back.

22. Who’s your favorite CC creator? I have A LOT. Probably too many to list here and I don't like to pick favorites. :)

23. How long have you had a simblr? I think I made my account in 2020? But I had a very long hiatus up until recently.

24. How do you edit your pictures? I mostly use Blender and edit the images with Gimp afterwards. I suck at taking screenshots I don't know why. T.T

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far? My favorite is seasons and get together (only bc of Windenburg lmao) I also enjoy Cottage Living a lot.

Hey huns!👋 So I have 2 first for the finder if that is alright:

1) The first is a shorter story (i think, been a while). It's about WWX being a "retired" assassin and LWJ being a thief (?). They're together, but both don't know the other occupation. The ending is when the Wens take LWJ hostage and use him as bait. Legit, remember one line being "You kidnapped the Yilling Patriarch's boyfriend!?" Which I think was Wen Xu asking Wen Chao. Just finally got an Ao3 account and wanted to bookmark it as it's one of my favorites to go back to, and my mobile bookmarks got deleted.

2) WWX and LWJ are stuck in the 🐢 cave and then they do the "devils tango". WWX ends up pregnant and goes through the entire buring of lotus Pier, Golden core, burial grounds, and the beginnings of the war with that knowledge. I remember WQ telling him the baby may not last during the surgery. I also remember WWX thinking that the baby didn't survive after the 3 month hell and him being surprised when the doctors (could be WQ) at the camp telling him he's pregnant and the baby is still alive. I have no idea if it's a A/b/o or just random vodoo Magick that the author wrote. But I do remember the VERY first chapter was them in the cave and WWX asking if LWJ was alright and wanting to just have...the devils tango.

I have tried finding 1 through the usual tags of assassin and heist and thief or even the name "Yilling Patriarch's Boyfriend" but didn't work. 2 has been done a lot, and I've ready as many as I can to refind it, but I have no idea how far I'm looking or the word count. Help me please and thank yous in advance!
