ATSUSHI HERE WE GO THANK YOU FOR HEARING MY PRAYERS

Favorite thing about them: HIS SELFISHNESS. It's so so delicious to explore. Can you imagine a protagonist that saves others not out of simple good will, but because of egoistic self-preservation motives? It just feels counterintuitive for me lmao, and I found it quite messed up when I first watched the anime, but now it's so compelling to explore. His whole “everything I do is in order to gain the right to live” is crazy fashinating. Because lol, that's entirely nonsensical to me! There's no such thing as “gaining the right to live”; all humans, every person in the world is inherently deserving of life. All. No exception. So there's no level of “weak” or “worthless” that would make you lose that right. The fact that's it's a vision so distant and absurd from mine, idk, it just makes it very compelling to explore? “What if there was a little fucked up guy who believed the right to live had to be earned” just sounds like a very interesting premise.

Least favorite thing about them: When I first watched the anime, I think I found him low-key annoying? I just... Don't do very well with self-deprecating people and people who complain a lot in general, I usually suffer in silence and tend to (wrongly) assume others should do the same (this probably makes me sound pretty mean, I swear I try to be understanding irl). However, it doesn't bother me as much anymore, I simply think it's more of a distinctive trait of the character that makes him multilayered and unique. As of now, I can't think of anything I don't like about him if not the fact that I wish he'd rely on Dazai and others in general a little less. I know that has to do with his lack of self-worth, so maybe it makes sense,, but as of now he feels kind of stuck. I just wish we'd see him grow more on that front.

brOTP: KYOUKA AND ATSUSHI they make me go insane. Already talked about this in the Kyouka post but just to reiterate: in my headcanon Kyouka really is the only person Atsushi feels genuine, selfless affection towards. It's very sweet. They're siblings. Kyouka's happiness is really important for Atsushi. They really do have that feeling of people who got out of an abusive environment learning what normality is supposed to be like together. I also really like how they compensate for what the other lacks, be it decisiveness and coolhead for Atsushi and empathy and positivity for Kyouka. Although plenty shipping them romantically, I really like platonic sskk and atsulucy as well.

OTP: I really like sskk eheh. I think they're neat. There's a thousand and one reasons why I find them pretty great. They're objectively the only reason why I got invested in bsd as well as the only thing that has me keep up with the franchise to this day. Right now, I feel like the one thing I really appreciate about them is how you can be the worst person in the universe and still somehow be loveable to someone. I think it's sweet. I also find it very fun and enterataining to explore their various soulmatism antics. They're both very complex and multilayered characters with something deeply wrong with how their minds work that makes them very fun to analyze both by their own and in the complexity of their relationship. Their collective story arc and canon relationship progression is extremely engaging and nice to follow, too. I love dazatsu and atsulucy as well!! Both were ships I wasn't particularly invested when I read the manga for the first time, but really grew in me in the last six months or so. I really dig akuatsulucy as well!!

Random headcanon: He really likes reading. There's some real meta-analysis to be made here I actually had written this is probably not the right place to talk about, but in a work that's all about literature, he's the character who reads.

Unpopular opinion: He's the hardest character to write / characterize. That's why people should probably go easier on other fans when they mischaracterize him. He's just very multifaceted and genuinely hard to get. I keep seeing people being like “Stop babyfying Atsushi he's an independent adult!!” then turn around to say “he can't be shipped with Dazai because there's too much unbalance of power :// [somewhat implying Atsushi can't make free decisions for himself]”, or “Stop making of Atsushi a soft baby who never did wrong in his life!!!” then turn around to say “Atsushi is the happy puppy of the agency who gets treats and pats from everyone ^^ ” like. At least to me, a lot of people's arguments sound self-contradictory all the time; but that doesn't mean people should stop having fun and characterize the characters as they like! Just, let's stop being mean to each other and try to be a little more accepting towards others' takes, shall we? And yes that also includes letting people find Atsushi annoying if they find him annoying (although like, I've NEVER found anyone call Atsushi annoying ever, so really, what remote fandom spaces is everyone visiting? Why are you looking for clothes (good takes) at the soup store (Tik/tok I assume?) ).

First impression: "huh. that sure is a protagonist" (2016. this was in 2016. i had a bad taste back then and automatically disliked protags due to being an edgy teenager)

Impression now: son boy allowed. i have legally adopted him 👍

Favorite moment: any time he ever went sicko mode, best one is probably in dead apple where he has flashbacks and screams about how a tiger will use its claws when cornered. ALSO!!! goncahrov battle using rashomon for the first time, but that's more of a sskk moment than just atsushi 🖤

Idea for a story: atsushi has a good day where he gets to relax and hang out with his friends and no one tears his leg off 👍 amen

Unpopular opinion: i've seen people say he's boring/generic or whiny and i highly disagree. he's not boring he's like one of the most interesting and unique protags I've seen of his character trope (of like, the whole positive inspirational guy who has to save everyone that you mainly see in shonen), like he's bitter and petty and down to fight not to prove himself or w/e but bc someone pissed him off. at the start of the story his main motivator is money and he's not even ashamed to admit it. he roasts people around him and isn't naive or bright-eyed optimistic. AND he's not whiny he's just mentally ill 😭 i'd argue the anime's first season's oversaturation of his flashbacks scenes is what gave off that impression to a lot of people

Favorite relationship: would sskk being too easy of a pick. in that case i'll say 1 his friendship with kyouka, like his refusal to give up on her, his protectiveness over her, spoiling her even when he doesn't have to bc he wants to make sure she has a good time when he only knew her for one day??? and how their bond transcends time and space and they're still so close in beast 🥺🥺🥺 I Care Them 2 yeah i'm biased abt this one, his relationship with dazai. i love that he takes no shit from him but still clearly respects him and sees him as someone safe that he can trust. and i have so many other things to say i might have to make an entire post just about that tbh

Favorite headcanon: oh i have that whole theory about his name that afaik hasn't been debunked yet. you know how in beast the orphanage director refers to him by number? implying all the orphans have a number. i assume, since he was abandoned as a baby, he wasn't named by his parents. or at least if he was, it's not like he had any way to know what name they chose for him. ANYWAY you know how he quotes smth from one of irl nakajima's works. but claims he doesn't remember the name of the author. i think he just took it 👍 he wanted a name, he felt connected to this book. he might've not even realize this is where he saw that name before, and thought he chose a name at random, when the name on the book's cover was already worn out with time to the point of being unreadable yet it was still written in his subconscious!

Dazai x gn!reader

Reader has a strong ability...like, rlly cool 😎 it's my dream ability

      This man is head over heels.

He loves how you scream over a cockroach but can rip people to shreds at the same time.

Since you didn’t mention any specific ability, I have gone ahead and given you a lightning ability.

Arahabaki is the god of calamity, that combined with Chuuya.

Raijin is the God of lightening. Your ability is pretty similar to His powers.

You can control the place, time and method of a lightning strike. You can also produce it on the spot and shoot it from your hands...kinda like Palpatine.

Your eyes turn arctic blue, with your hair flowing around you. You look like a literal Goddess/God.

He was mesmerised when he witnessed it in action for the first time.

You and Dazai were walking through Yokohama, observing the internal beauty of the city via small lanes and random alleyways.

Hand-in-hand, you two were chatting about how Dazai hadn’t tried the Napolitana pasta yet, despite living in a city that was rumoured to have invented the dish.

That’s when Dazai pulled you around a random corner and shielded you from the view of the road you two were originally walking on.

You knew better than to speak at such a moment and decided to observe and try to pick any signs of being followed.

Sure enough, you could hear faint footsteps come to a stop right at the corner, you two still being shielded by the corner. You both waited with bated breath, and after a while, the person went away.

Relieved, you were about to walk out of your hiding place, when a barrel placed itself on your head from behind. Your eyes widened and you froze in place. Dazai noticed the unknown presence and looked behind only to find you being held a hostage.

“Long time, Mr. Executive!”, the man holding you hostage said as he grinned at Dazai.

“Aren’t you supposed to be in prison, Ito san?”, Dazai said, offering him his own smile.

You could easily read through his façade. The smile was only a mask, covering his panic and fear. You had no experience in fighting, and Dazai was no match for this man. He had fought him earlier, but that was when he had Chuuya by his side. Dazai can come up with a spectacular and manipulative plan, and Chuuya, or his current ada partner, Kunikida, can execute it, considering their brawn. He was the brains, and his partners had always been the brawn. He can fight the occasional criminal, but Ito was a feared enemy of the mafia, who was both mentally and physically strong. He had always assumed that the mafia had caught him, and sent him to jail, thanks to the mafias feared double black, but apparently, he had gotten away, or had found a way to break out of prison.

“prison isn’t a place for a man like me; you of all people know that. So, I left! Decided to say hello to an old friend, now that I’m back.”

He moved his gun from your head, dragging it down to your chin.

“Turns out, my visit might actually kill two birds with one stone.”

Understanding the hidden meaning behind his words, Dazai tensed up. He couldn’t let him hurt you. He had to get you out f here. But how is he going to do that? There is no way out of this without either of you getting hurt. He must protect you, but what must he do?

You chuckled.

“Something funny, pretty thing?”

“Actually, yes.”, you say, “Do you know who you’re threatening?”, you smirk, your tone dangerously low and intimidating.

“You’re playing a dangerous game; Ito-san, wasn’t it?”

The man grabbed your chin, turning you to face him.

“I was going to let you go, but I suppose your naivety deserves a bullet to the head!”

You smiled, activating your ability.

A sudden jolt of electricity travelled into his body. Yelping, he let go of you. Using this window of opportunity, you kicked the gun out of his hand and pushed yourself away from him. Dazai quickly grabbed your arm, pulling you away from the man, and out of the alley. His main intention was to get you away from here. Away from danger. He hadn’t understood what had just happened, but he decided that right now, running was the best course of action.

You two turned multiple corners, crossed many junctions, and ended up at an open field. Beyond the field, a few blocks away, was a metro station. You two could head to safety from there. All you had to do was cross this abandoned field and get in the metro.

Multiple men, clad in a uniform of sorts, emerged from the shadows, circling you both.

“Thought you could run away, did you?”, Ito stepped into the circle, a proud smirk on his face.

“You will face the consequences for destroying my gang. We never broke apart, you see. All of us are back. And we will take over the mafia, defeat the ada, and control this city.”

“Good luck with that.”, you say as you let go of Dazai’s hand, ignoring his warnings to stay back. Kinda like that scene with odasaku :')

You spread your arms wide, activating your ability. Bolts of lightning shot out from your fingers, hitting a few of the men, dropping them to the ground.

The men had no time to react as you swiftly raised yourself off the ground, hovering over them, and unleashed your signature move, striking them with a large bolt of lightning from the sky.

The head of the group, Ito, activated his own ability, the ability to control metal. Multiple guns aimed themselves at you and began shooting.

You created a shield around yourself, effectively blocking the hundreds of bullets.

Meanwhile, Dazai sneaked behind the others, incapacitating them.

You continued to fight Ito, blocking his attacks, and sending a couple bolts his way, while simultaneously attacking the others. The field was a mix of bullets, sharp scraps of metal, and bolts of electricity.

At the end, Dazai sneaked up behind Ito, nullifying his ability, and knocking him out.

To say that he was surprised would be an understatement.

He had heard of an ability that controlled lightning, but this was his first time witnessing it in action.

'Heaven's Fury' was the name of your dangerous ability.

He thought it suited you very well..

You are calm and composed, but when angered, you can unleash madness upon your enemies.

You were always so elegant, and seeing you like this, using your powers and fighting atleast 20 people at once, he couldn't help but admire your majestic beauty.

Your ability gives me 'They tell me I'm a God, I'm lost in the façade, Six feet off the ground' vibes.

Dazai agrees with my opinion.

You look like a deity.

He liked the idea of protecting you, yes, but he found it so hot that you could protect yourself.

Hell, he now knows that you can not only protect yourself, but also take out an entire city on your own.

He would be much at peace now, knowing that he doesn’t quite have to worry so much about any past enemy of his taking revenge. You were stronger than almost all his enemies.

Will praise you, 24/7. He wouldn’t stop talking about it.

He wonders why you didn’t tell him, and you merely shrugged saying that he never asked.

He would brag about you to all his friends(ada members)

He would never tell anyone other than the ada members, though, as he doesn’t want anybody to do some research and find out a way to defeat you.

He prefers it to be an element of surprise and catch the enemies off-guard.

Loves watching the shocked and scared faces of those that decide to wrong you, leading to you using your formidable ability on them.

If you aren’t a part of the ada, he would definitely think that you’d be a great addition to the organization.

He would never ask you join, though. He wants you to be as safe as possible. It doesn’t matter whether or not you have a strong ability, he just wants you out of harm’s way.

Besides, using your ability can take a toll on your health too.

He just wants to see you happy and safe.

If you decide to join the ada, he will try to talk you out of it.

If you’re absolutely sure of your decision, he wouldn’t stop you.

Instead, he will accompany you on all your missions, and will ask Atsushi to come along too.

He is aware that you are extremely strong and don’t need anyone, but he will constantly worry about you, which is why he accompanies you.

Don’t get him wrong, he really loves you and trusts you, but he is just so worried.

So, don’t oppose him when he joins you, please. Poor baby is just really concerned for your health.

Will call up Chuuya and brag about you to him.

“My Belladonna is much stronger than you, chibi-kun ;p”

If you’re taller than Chuuya, Dazai will tease the hell out of poor hat man.

He'll be like,"LOL shorty XD. My s/o is both taller and stronger than you!!"

If you're not taller, it will still be hell for poor wine boy.

"I can't believe that you're weaker than my s/o! They're so much better than you, LOL"

least favorite thing about them: I can’t really think of anything that bothers me about Atsushi… maybe how he can be gullible? and maybe how he is portrayed in like fan fics sometimes. But in canon? Nah.

random headcanon: ehh… can’t think of one rn–

unpopular opinion: I think shared this one before, but I’ll repeat it cause it remains the same.) But I seen several people not like Atsushi or think his trauma is “annoying”. Because the series keeps showing the same flashback at the orphanage and all that and fans want Atsushi to “just get over it already.” Which, for maybe personal reasons, bothers me. Atsushi obviously has PTSD or something. Has anxiety and has certain things that trigger traumatic flashbacks for him…. like to me it makes a lot of sense? It went on for a long time. People who have that kind of traumatic stress disorder don’t “JUST GET OVER IT” so fast and so easily? To me it makes his character feel so much more…. real, you know? Yet people want to bash his character for having trauma…. But you know whatever.

Dazai:

favorite thing about them: He’s hot.  I mean, what. Just like Atsushi there’s many things I like, so it’s hard to pick just ONE. But he’s definitely one of the characters that interest me the most, while Atsushi may be my favorite, Dazai’s character and past is a lot more interesting to me. 

least favorite thing about them: I’m a bit behind on BSD still(still near the end of S3 AAAa), but I’ve been told by fellow BSD lovers that the more you learn about Dazai’s past… especially in the mafia days, he’s done some pretty horrible things that may make you rethink he’s character a bit, and it keeps getting worse it seems. But that’s pretty much a given for me anyways. For example the way he treated Akutagawa was a bit of a red flag from the start. 

favorite line:  “Do not pity yourself. If you wallow in self-pity, life will be an endless nightmare.” Another quote from BSD that really stuck with me. But it’s also a quote from the real life Dazai. 

brOTP: Odasaku and Dazai… ;w;) 

OTP: Dazatsu but I also like Soukoku a little bit more now… 

nOTP: I’ve seen Dazai shipped with literally anyone at this point  that I just don’t care, but the only one that made me go “yikes!” is Mori/Dazai…

First impression: It's funny to say this now, but truth is, at first Ango never left much of an impression on me (but then again, most characters didn't). Since I binge watched all of bsd in one day, I didn't have time to process everything, so at the time I was only truly invested in Dazai. My general reaction was a simple "ah, so Dazai hates him because of that." I never hated him though, I was neutral leaning towards like.

Impression now: A caring person who has become a prisoner of his own decisions and mistakes. Of course this is my interpretation of it, but the more I see Ango, more it feels like he's caged in by the circumstances, and doesn't quite know how to get out (or how to find purpose outside of those circumstances, possibly).

Don't even try to fight me on the caring part. Just the fact that he keeps helping Dazai even when he might be risking some serious injuries (he literally knew Dazai would point a gun to his head and prepared himself for it accordingly) speaks volumes.

Favorite moment: Can I say the entirety of his appearance in the new manga arc? No? Then when he finds a way to help Atsushi without raising suspicion, especially when he smiles all kind and softly

(Also, very specific, but when Ango says "Odasaku-san?!" in a soft and concerned voice when Odasaku rescues him in the second episode.)

Favorite relationship:

Odango - The soft married couple. They're all about slow touches and kind words, the scent of coffee in early mornings and kisses to the forehead. These two would be the couple that sound like they've been dating for at least 10 years. Odasaku is the unintended romantic and Ango is his fond partner.

Dazango - The idiots. That's it. They're all about teasing that descends into flirting, if Ango isn't annoyed by Dazai's antics. Dazai would tease Ango way too much, to the point where he snaps and either dissolves into a blushing mess, or retaliates in the same manner. In the second situation, then Dazai becomes the flustered one. Someone save them.

I also like odazango and any platonic variations of the Buraiha trio!! I surprisingly don't have a lot of Ango ships, really

Idea for a story:

Odango - I have a wip that I plan to go back to when I have the time, where Ango is a dream god that has been visiting Oda in his dream since Oda was a child. Oda feels as if Ango is calling him, so he sets out on a trip, along with Dazai, to somehow find Ango.

Dazango - I really hope I'll get around to writing this at some point, but I have this idea for a delinquent/high school AU! Ango and Dazai terrorize the school with pranks and annoy the hell out of the teachers. Ango is Dazai's faithful record keeper, helping plan pranks by keeping track of all their previously done shenanigans, ensuring each one is always something new (AU developed by @dreamingfordawn, who kindly let me use it <3 )

Unpopular opinion: Please stop treating Ango as od//azai's keychain..... lol If you don't like Ango or aren't as invested in him, that's okay!!! But seeing god knows how many works where Ango is only there to react to whatever od//azai is doing gets old very fast, especially with the little content he already gets. Not to mention the way the fandom talks about him (please stop putting it in his character tag I'm so tired)

Favorite headcanon: There's this headcanon I posted here awhile ago that I love. Basically, Ango has a keen sense of smell and is particularly sensitive to scents. Sometimes, he'll pick up the cologne Odasaku used to wear in a crowd and freeze before he recomposes himself

-Murasakibara isthat type of friend that no one understands why you’restaying with him but you laugh when they say it to you. Heseems cold, disinterested, selfish and a baby you have to take care of; yetthis is only the surface. You know that even if you don’t see it, Murasakibara iswatching you, is silently supporting you and knows perfectly the boundaries of whathe can or can’t do. He cares, truly and deeply.

-Extremely protective and jealous of your friendship,even if he wears a cold façade. He doesn’t get along with many other people andtry to be nice only if you scold or beg him.

-He usually drapes himself over you,uses your lap as a pillow, rests his elbow on your head…. He likes to remindyou that you’re smaller and use you like a supporter.

-He picks you up whenever he wants: if you are askinghim to pick something from a high shelf, if you’re pouting and don’t want to gowith him somewhere, if you’re playfully teasing each other, if you can’t see ashow…

-He lets you play with his hair and allows you to takebites of his food, even if he complains about it.

-He’s great at hugging and comforting, he alwayslistens to you and gives short but meaningful suggestions. He also listens toyour love problems if you need it, but don’t get him wrong: he usually despisesevery guy you have a crush on.

-He’s your Sunshine Best Friend. The adventurous,lively but responsible one that drags you everywhere.

-He’s a social butterfly but makes sure to show toeveryone and you in particular that you are his best friend. He’s always soproud of you and never let you feel lonely or neglected.

-He likes to hang out together a lot, doing prettymuch anything and nothing. From karaoke, arcade and video games nights to studysessions, going to eat popsicles or just napping on the couch.

-He knows you well and understands immediately ifsomething is off, ready to talk about it with you and find a solution. On theother side, he tries to hide when he has a problem or there’s something wrongeven if he’s totally obvious. He doesn’t know how to lie at all, poor boy.

-He’s touchy, if you’re a girl he’s going to treat youpretty much like a boy and sometimes you have to remind him that actually youaren’t. He apologizes when he’s at fault, he’s pretty selfless and smiles alot.

-He loves camping or spending time outside in general,and yes, he’s going to bring you with him. You probably spend your holidaystogether. He gets excited easily.

-However he’s very responsible and never puts you indanger. He has even done a first aid course. He gets really mad if you do somethingstupid or injure yourself. It emerges his Mom Side.

-Completely oblivious about romance and anythingrelated, a lost cause. He’s a simple and direct person, you have to be clear ifyou want him to understand something.

-Summer Festivals in yukata with him are a tradition.You also compete for who wins the biggest prize and then give the others prizesto the children you meet.

-He’s always late for school, for one thing or another,so you have to cover for him or take notes for both.

-His family has adopt you, the parents call you “daughter”and his siblings “big sister”. You often spend the night in his room (yay,pajama party) and help them in the house when they need it. They also bring youon holiday with them.

Sakurai Ryou

-The typical friend that thinks he’s not enough to bewith you and constantly doubts himself because he thinks you deserve best. Youspend half of your time kicking into his ass how much he’s worth and how muchyou care about him; with time, he starts to believe you. He gets reallyconfident and scary only when people badmouth you (you’re still shocked by thechange: you’ve never seen him standing so tall and glaring so menacinglybefore)

-He’s a sweetheart who would do everything to make youhappy and the purest cinnamon roll. He’s not very comfortable with groups, buthe’ll go with you to parties or social events if you ask.

-He’s very sensitive and kind, attentive to your moodswings and able to read you pretty well. He doesn’t like to meddle, but, if it’sto make you feel better, he’s going to confront you about anything.

-He’s freaking competitive when you play against eachother. It doesn’t matter which game, he just goes all out to win. It’s one ofhis scary sides.

-He always asks you for an opinion over the mangas hedraws or the new dishes he tries to cook. You often cook together when you havea movie night.

-He prepares you every week at least one characterbento and he’s freaking proud of it. The only time everyone remember him gettingmad with Aomine is when the ace tried to eat the bento he had prepared for you.Aomine never did it again.

-He has an adorable pout, especially when you teasehim or he gets slightly jealous over you.

-He beams and gets all giddy when you go to see himplay! He really does his best! Obviously, if he makes a mistake or thinks he’snot playing well, afterwards you are going to have to comfort him while he criesand apologizes for some hours.

-If you’re a girl, he’s gonna treat you in a veryrespectful way, even if you laugh it off. He’s going to hold shopping bags foryou, open the doors, sleeping in another room…he’s unmovable about this.

Crona

OOOoh A THROWBACK FAVE~!

First impression: Oh my godddd, my 12-13 year old self thought Crona was the COOLEST character in Soul Eater. Like they had my interest immediately, I used to rewatch the church fight between Maka and Crona all the time and also Marie and Crona vs. Stein and Medusa in the anime!! Any Crona moments really….I was really obsessed with Crona back then. xD Also learning more and more about Crona’s traumatic childhood? Could NEVER let go after that fsjkhsfajkas 

Impression now: ….hhhheck I’m still mega depressed about how the manga ended for Crona to this day. (but then again there were many things I didn’t like at the end, left too many unanswered questions for me) but even if Crona basically sacrificed themselves and didn’t have great writing towards the end… Crona will always be a forever fave of mine. ❤❤❤ 

Favorite moment: The moment where Maka and Crona became friends. Any moments that expressed their friendship were EVERYTHING to me, Mama Bear Maka was my fave thing lvkljkjsakfa she just wanted her friend to have confidence and be happy and feel loved aND HNNNNNNNNNN I’m getting emotional over them again. 😭❤

 Idea for a story: AU WHERE THEY STOPPED THE KISHIN ANOTHER WAY AND CRONA DIDN’T HAVE TO SEAL THE KISHIN AWAY BY SACRIFICING THEMSELVES. I KNOW MAKA PROMISED TO COME BACK FOR THEM BUT I’M STILL SO UPSET THEY ENDED IT LIKE THAT. WTF ATSUSHI OHKUBO THIS IS STILL A CRIME. @ all the artists who made all the continuations of Maka going back for Crona later on like she promised…. BLESS YOU. 

 Unpopular opinion: I mean it’s not really an unpopular opinion anymore, I think? I don’t know Soul Eater is so far away for me now. But GOD. I absolutely hated how much the fandom used to constantly argue about Crona’s gender and just reducing Crona’s entire character to a game of “Let’s guess my gender!!” and a walking depression joke. It was annoying AND ALWAYS EVERYWHERE. I wish I knew that “They/Them” pronouns existed back then– and I wasn’t just an ignorant child who felt like she had to pick a side like everyone else. I’M HAVING WAR FLASHBACKS.

 Favorite relationship: Crona and Maka hands down was the best canon relationship/friendship in my opinion. It was so pure,,,, I cry every time and I can go all day about why I loved them. JUST– THEY HAD SO MANY BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS??? HELP I’M HAVING NOSTALGIA. ;w;) ❤When Maka went berserk when Medusa almost killed her best friend Crona?? Poetic Cinema.

But…I also loved Death the Kid and Crona… a lot… lol it may have kind of been a crack ship but it was a popular one surprisingly? The Soul Eater fandom was so weird the more I remember it….but I loved it. 😂✨ I just thought they would be so interesting together, so I was also super into it for that reason? I remember people would be like “Wait… why do you ship them?” and I would give a long in depth analysis and reasons… and at least 80% of the time they were like “oh…. That is interesting.” They were friends but not as close as Maka and Crona of course,  but Death the Kid and Crona were also my tops fave as well so that’s probably how it started, xD But those two ships were my top faves! I like how most of the characters tried their best to make Crona feel comfortable in their group though!!! IN THIS HOUSE WE LOVE AND APPRECIATE CRONA! 

 Favorite headcanon: MMMmM I haven’t thought about Crona hcs in forever…. My Soul Eater phase only died because the series died– but one of my fave popular headcanons that I can remember was the hc about “If Crona has black blood how come when they blush…. its pink??? Shouldn’t it be grey or something?” I don’t know who started the idea but so many people collectively loved that idea and just became pretty universally accepted? So many artists started Crona like that!! I thought it was great!! ❤

Aaaaa my heart still aches for Crona…. baby deserved so much better but was led down the wrong path…..
