Not Fusebox tryna get back in our good graces with the after party 😭 very depressed because I didn’t get to replay the old seasons before they’re removing them, legit done with them after s7 is done

they always make the stupidest decision istg nobody and I repeat NOBODY gaf about season 7. their social media is DEAD, I can count in one hand how many people commented about last volume here on Tumblr, the fandom is dead DEAD and they decide to give THIS season extra episodes?! 😭 I need to know what was the thought process.

and they got everyone mad af with the whole "we are getting rid of the first few seasons" bullshit. like, these are your most loved seasons. they have your most beloved LI of all time, and that's how you treating it? just tell me you have no consideration whatsoever for the people who give you money omfg (but tbh we already knew that).

anyway, this little rant outside... I feel you, anon! I couldn't play much either :/ there are a few blogs for archive (@litgarchive and @litgmemories for ex.) and I know @mrsbsmooth is putting together screenshots and videos for most routes. it's a shame we have to do that to keep these stories we fell in love with but it's also a great example why I love this fandom so much.

here's hoping they actually do remaster the game and bring these seasons back without ruining everything. but knowing fusebox, I wouldn't hold my breath

Someone I grew up with was killed a few hours ago.

Saw them on my way to work last month and he was his usual ray of sunshine, in perfect health and happy-

I'll never ever get used to how sharp the shock is of finding out someone is dead. The disbelief is real.

i went to tamino's concert and it was absolutely magical as he has an angelic voice but his attitude was really disappointing and shameful. he barely acknowledged us and got all sulky due to what we believe to be technical difficulties... i say "what we believe to be technical difficulties" because he got upset and offered no explanation for it. he could have explained the situation and evoked compassion from the paying crowd and we would have all understood. sometimes these things happen.

he's truly not to blame for said difficulties but truth is, attitude is everything and everyone left really disappointed. the technical problems worsen the situation but he had a terrible attitude from the beginning. i wish he had been forthcoming and honest (explaining, for example, that the performance would be more lacklustre than he'd wish), rather than getting all sulky.

they were also certain people talking mid-song (for several ones), eating and smoking. he skipped several lines in songs and didn't make any conversation. he also rushed through the songs whenever he could from 'cigar' onwards. but as for the talking mid-song, that got more intense as his attitude deteriorated.

i agree and understand it's shitty when difficulties arise, but fans are not to fault for them and he was deeply unprofessional and immature. being upset is very different from being antagonising and one does not necessitate the other. he barely greeted us or even looked at us during the entire show and left without saying goodbye. i wish the outcome had been different because i truly love his music and his work. i adore this man but his attitude was simply not it 😭

on a lighter note, the highlight of my night, though, was having ramy right in front of me (literally in front of me, i was on the first row, and we shared a few glances) for at least half the show 💖 and tamino playing my absolute favourite song of his, w.o.t.h 🥰

guillermo del toro’s pinocchio is a beautiful film but my god no one has adapted that story like neverafter. you can never look at it the same way again after listening to lou wilson, a black man, explaining that he chose to play as pinocchio because it’s a story about a little boy who isn’t allowed to make mistakes. that in pinocchio's story, he is fundamentally barred from childhood at once upon a time. he must earn something that everyone else is granted from birth. the other boys get to tell lies and play and get into trouble, but when pinocchio does the same thing there are grave and violent consequences. his pinocchio is trying to understand why the world is so unfair, why the rules are so different for him, why everyone else gets to be a real boy.

and I think about it every day.

#I'm sure so many other people have said it better than me but I think it deserves being said a thousand upon a thousand times #lou wilson is a phenomenal talent and storyteller and actor #and his ability to bring that character from the most ridiculous heights of comedy to gut wrenching emotion on a pinhead was unforgettable #I have so much respect for everyone in the dome but I don't think any story gripped me as much as pinocchio #d20 #dimension 20 #d20 neverafter #lou wilson
