Realizing I also inadvertently gave pouf my hEDS via headcanon bc:
- I think he's cold-blooded and can't regulate body temperature as a result -> I can't do that myself bc of my POTS (which I have due to my hEDS)
- I think he also supplements salt into his diet bc butterflies, especially swallowtails like himself, exhibit a behavior called "puddling" where they collect and sip up salt, typically from puddles of mud -> salt supplements are one of the most common treatments for POTS
- I think he also struggles with solid food bc butterflies and adult ants actually subsist entirely on liquids -> digestive issues are common with EDS and a liquid diet can help offset some symptoms
- I'm not even headcanoning his hypermobility, his body just looks like that:

I'M HERE AGAIN
TINR AU Strade getting sensory overload when using Ren's body because beastkin have more heightened senses???
I HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN THINKING ABIUT THIS ALL DAY WTF GET OUT OF MY BRAIN /J
I personally headcanon Ren to be somewhere on the autism spectrum (it makes sense if you think about it) and as such he often goes into nonverbal shutdown when he gets overwhelmed
Strade is in control at one point and it's so loud why is it so loud, he can usually handle loud so whats the problem? cmon strade get it together youre a fucking soldier!
Aaaand whoops there goes the ability to word
He's hiding in an alley somewhere after having run off from Sid and Farz/Raven due to being overwhelmed, and when they find him and ask what's wrong, he's just trying to force out words and it isn't working and its making it worse fuck fuck fuck-
Until eventually Sid sits down in front of him and instructs him through deep breathing and helps him get calmed down, showing him the vague 'signs' (none of them know sign language smh) Ren uses for basic communication; hello, goodbye, im hungry, etc. Ren had showed Sid and Farz/Raven close to the time he started hanging out with them just in case he needed to use them

Web!Bruce keeps... tethers, for lack of a better word, on the people he cares about. The same strings a lot of Web avatars use for manipulation, he... tries to limit his use of. Let the strings sit lax, present in case of emergency, there if needed, but not to be used. When his worries get the best of him, he coils them around his fingers, pulling the tethers just tight enough to feel the life thrumming at the other end, the current emotional state of that person, just as a check in. A quick twist to make sure Dick’s okay. A light tug to make sure Damian actually went to bed. A small pull when Tim’s been quieter than usual and Bruce can’t figure out why.
It soothes Bruce’s nerves to have those silent check-ins.
It also means that despite never being prone to pyrophobia before, cases involving fire fray Bruce’s nerves more than anything, as the longer any of his people spend in close proximity to flames, the more chances there are each of their tethers might burn away. A nightmare he’s encountered more than once when he went for a check-in and found only a slack, frayed thread where a sturdy tether was supposed to be.
(Bruce has on occasion yanked all the strings attached to someone hard enough to physically force them closer to him. If he holds them tight enough, he can induce paralysis. If he winds them right, he can leave someone all trussed up and immobilized. In his weakest, most paranoid moments, he has used this to try to force someone to stay safe, but the Fear... the Fear of someone else having control over your actions, imposing their will on you, of knowing your weaknesses & taking advantage... that’s what the Web wants. Realizing he’s Feeding on someone he cares about is usually enough to snap Bruce out of it, and when it’s not, the resulting damage to their relationship is punishment enough for him to resist the urge for years to come.)

am i the only one who thinks the whole "manifesting" thing has gone a little too far?
im a spiritualist. i take time to understand the stars and the way the world works and i take my tarot, crystals, spirit, and the universe seriously. it's not a trend to me, it's my way of life. and it makes me so upset when i see people who are doing it cause it's trendy.
i saw a tiktok the other day of a pregnant woman working out. nothing special, but the caption said "i am manifesting this baby" ??? she already HAS the baby. it's growing inside her. she was over seven months along! that's not how manifesting works! it's become a super glorified buzzword and i hate it!
and i see a whole lot of "i attract but never chase" esp on twitter and tiktok. it's alright to want to attract something to you, but at this point it's all people ever do or say. they say they are manifesting (when in actuality, a lot of times they aren't actually putting in the effort or don't even know how to meditate or actively manifest beyond just wanting something). it's a really super easy way to say "im not going to put in any work to attain my goals but i should have this good thing because i deserve it"
don't get me wrong, everyone is deserving of good things, but the constant "attract not chase" mindset is harmful to yourself and others. you need a balance. you cannot aggressively want something and expect it to appear in your lap. if you are truly seeking to attract something, put in the work to properly manifest it. bring it to fruition. and then know when you need to chase. going after what you want is not a bad thing. it's not a poor thing or a pathetic thing to work towards and go after what you want.
if you really want to see results, make sure you have a balance. manifest the things you want. talk to spirit or the universe or any deity you may work with and see whether it's actually going to be a good thing for you, or whether you're ready for it yet. put yourself in a position to receive. even in attraction, it's not passive background work. you have to actively make sure you have the opportunity to receive it. open yourself up to the possibilities! you can't gain anything if you shut yourself out to world.
i know that crystals and tarot are super popular right now but using it just to play with or to fit in, and not taking it seriously, can have dangerous consequences. playing with the supernatural isn't a game, and while crystals are mostly harmless (unless handled wrong, i've heard of way too many people taking baths with their selenite! just cause some lady on tiktok said it's okay), it's still so easy to go too far if you don't know what you're doing or not taking it seriously.
if you really, actually, want to get into spirituality, please talk to someone who actually knows what they're doing. stop interacting with the tarot reads on twitter and tiktok, and get into it outside your home. go to an apothecary. go to crystal shops without the buzz antics. i know it's hard as a new spiritualist to know what's goid and what's a scam, so here's some guides i use to choosing a good shop:
don't shop anywhere that sells colored glass as crystals
don't shop from anyone or anywhere that swears by opalite. it's not real. if you want to know more about that please reach out!
hematite rings. just don't. hematite is great for soaking up negativity but it's fragile and prone to breaking when it's had enough. buying a new $30 ring when it breaks because it's soaked up too much negativity is just a way shops use to get lots of returning customers. just buy a big chunk of it and remember to cleanse it every so often.
make sure you research the way herbs interact if you're unsure. some combination don't work well together or neutralize each other and don't do anything. this is the same for crystals.
PLEASE don't attempt to open your third eye unless you are thoroughly experienced and ready for impact. closing your third eye is difficult and having it open when you're not ready is overwhelming at best. i learned that lesson the hard way. it's not fun. you don't ever have to open your third eye if you don't want to. it's not a requirement.
doing tarot reads for other people when you're still not completely sure about your deck isn't good. until you know the card meaning inside and out, reversals and uprights, and know your specific deck, it's too easy to give an incorrect reading and lead others astray. just stick to yourself.

whose the sexy mad scientist and the spicy firepire
I assume you mean these two!
The one on the left is Connor Salem and they're a doctor who practices necromancy, but in an entirely mundane way lol. It takes a toll on the body and makes them look a little strange, but necromancy is all about body magic, living or dead, so he finds it helpful for actually diagnosing and assisting his patients with their ailments more than anything.
The right character is the sona of one of my friends! They're getting started on twitch as a streamer so I thought I'd draw them in a cool pose for practice ^^

I lied. One more little scream about Lust, Caution:
The thing I really liked actually was that she did not do the right thing.
Putting aside the moral question of whether it is right to murder a man like Yee, her choice caused everyone to die except for the man who tortured people because of their political views, and the guy who sent in university students to do his dirty work and had no intention of getting her out of there alive. Which sort of disqualitfies it from being the right choice if you ask me.
And I liked that this was how the story went. Yes, it can be great when the tragedy of an ending is that someone makes the hard but right decision. But to me, it was refreshing to see the main character go "fuck this, it might be stupid, but you are more important to me than literally any other thing in the world, including common sense and morality". Babygirl is getting a standing ovation from me lol
