Post-AGT Appearance 1264: Sound On Bloomberg Radio WBBR 1130 am August 17

Smoke from Canadian Wildfire would get minimal air play and negligible penetration of any hit list, but the added attention would soon push Canadian Wildfires into the top 100. Man of my Dreams would rise faster with the Lizzo controversy, reaching 14 last weekend. I would not have met the complainants and would be under orders to say nothing.

Paul Rubens would have started at 90th and peaked at 86 with the first update, then dropped out of the top 100 in 2021. Part of the reason would be that people would be betting it was Pee Wee Herman. No bookie would have told anyone that they would not pay off on that, or Dirty Harry or the Terminator either. Phillip would have posted a joke about the artist Peter Paul Rubens and no one would quote it.

I would have suffered a bit of heat prostration in New Mexico and went to my Oregon house to recuperate. Since I was not an official part of the tour no appearances would be canceled. I would have missed some business meetings and gotten a little poorer.

Trump would not be in trouble in Georgia because he would have won the state, but he would be in trouble for the Stormy Daniels crime and the insurrection and the stolen documents.

The next time anyone would quote me on television or radio would be yesterday and not related to music, jokes, politics or natural disasters. I would have owed some money to the IRS and paid it. Early in August someone would have leaked just enough information to cause a ripple of insults. I would finally post my response today. The first to quote me would be Joe Mathieu of Bloomberg radio. It's at 1 pm eastern time on many stations including WBBR 1130-am in New York.

Tezucomi magazine receives a 2 volume release in North America in 2024; will only include manga from European artists

Tezucomi manga magazine will receive a 2 volume North American release through Magnetic Press; it will only include the European manga that were included in the original release from Japan.

Tezucomi Volume 1 is set to release on February 13, 2024, while Volume 2 will release on March 12, 2024.

These releases came about from a successful Kickstarter from Neurobellum Productions!

Tezucomi was an Osamu Tezuka anthology magazine containing manga drawn from comic/manga artists around the world. It began in 2018 and ran for 18 volumes.

The Sesame Street Treasury was a series of books sold in supermarkets consisting of fifteen volumes published in 1983 by Funk & Wagnalls. Using the usual writers and artists, each entry was a collection of stories and activities, most carried over from The Sesame Street Library, various books in the Sesame Street Storybooks series, and The Sesame Street Cookbook, among others. Excerpts from Linda Bove's Sign Language Fun and The Sesame Street 1981 Mother Goose Calendar were included in each volume.

In contrast to the earlier Library collection, each cover featured a View-Master photograph instead of a Joe Mathieu illustration. New material, found in every issue, included one-page character profiles (art by Mary Grace Eubank) and a two-page "Say it in Spanish!" feature (illustrated by Maggie Swanson). A handful of original stories were also included.

The inside covers placed characters in a square pattern arranged amongst the letters of the alphabet and the last page always featured Oscar and Big Bird commentary; art in both cases was by Joe Mathieu.
