[ACTUALLY UR PUTFITS WERE SO ON POINT. I HAVE 2 OUTFIT IDEAS 4 HIFUMI & SHIHO (MINUS MASKS) & 1 mask idea for yuuki but idk what else. i was thinking for the leaders it would def be chaotic but goro has most metaverse experience so hes the leader. ken kinda acts like mona in giving useful tips abt personas etc and hifumi takes on the role of makoto where she gives out different strategies (her, ken, & goro debate over these tips & strategies but usually end up doing them anyway). I have an urge to show u these outfits omg. i can ramble abt these outfits & their personas for forever .. i chose jormungandr for yuuki, skadi for shiho hela for hifumi, and persephone for eiko. ik its not very in the literacy scene for them to all have deities as personas but... goro breaks it with loki anyway, so ..

explainations:: hela & jormungandr are 2/6 of loki's kids in norse mythology, aiding him in the ragnarok/end of the world, and hela is sentenced down to the underworld to be the goddess of that realm since she was born half alive half dead, and she's sentenced to it by odin (basically. kinda the zeus of norse mythology, like the "king" of all of them) because she's the daughter of loki & all this other stuff .. chose her for hifumi because hifumi's mom basically forces her to be a shoji star after hifumi's dad and yeah. jormungandr i chose because hes kinda just a sleepy little guy: in norse mythology he's known as "the World Serpent" and he wraps around the entire ocean with his tail in his mouth kind of in a constant sleep until the ragnarok (all of loki's kids --aside from 2, one being dead & the other being a gift to odin-- including loki himself, are kinda trapped somewhere before the ragnarok happens) and he's not talked about a lot but he aids in so much and he's important (like how yuuki is kind of ignored by the pts, the dialogue options being horrid, despite him aiding in them. also yuuki is the bm's navi in the au & he runs a "revenge site" like how Strega/takaya sakaki, jin shirato, & chidori yoshino do in p3-- strega also does death calling cards , mainly shown in the novels which is p cool.. first ppl to use mental shutdowns despite not beinf called that then either. i love strega sorry. they all agreed to it because shiho wanted to deal with more people like kamoshida, goro wanted to deal with more people like shido, hifumi wanted to deal w more people like her mom, etc).. i chose persephone for eiko because in greek mythology, persephone is (most commonly accepted form of the myth) kidnapped by hades and forced into marriage with him by eating a pomegranate out of the underworld .. point blank, persephone reminds me of eiko being trapped and persephone's shown to overcome it , ( honestly eventually making the underworld & hades her Bitch. she kills the goddess/nymph of mints and creates the mint plant because she got too handsy with hades).. also hifumi and eiko are a little gay for eachother so why not have their personas be, too? anyway. SHIHO!! i chose skadi for her because skadi , in norse mythology , is both jotunn (giant) and a god like how loki is, but she's an accepted form of it because she was given over to the gods as a peace treaty, and thats pretty important to norse mythology i'd say (like how rooftop scene is important to kamoshida arc), and skadi claws up the aesir (council of gods) thru both her marriage (ann? ann. hehe.) and her own sheer will (shiho's recovery and goro's ..... questionable aid.) and skadi just fits. the goddess of mountains and winter? sign me the FUCK UP.

So the Wildcard AU is a kind of what if Joker accepts Yaldaboth's deal and then Riku is kinda like fuck this imma dip and kill this god dude myself. Originally I was gonna have Elizabeth come back and act as his attendant (the Velvet Room has been sealed up/occupied by Yaldy Dabby Doo) but I really like the idea of Koromaru being the attendant?!!

Like I'm thinking maybe they could both do it so Koro helps out with Elizabeth's fusions by like biting the cards or something idk 💀

💭Kotone Shiomi x Shinjiro Aragaki 💭 Snitch of the S.E.E.S. Table

"...But yeah, she’s totally into me, dude," Junpei declared proudly.

Akihiko and Mitsuru looked at him blankly, blinking their eyes as if none of Junpei’s words processed in their minds. Aigis wasn’t even looking at him, having most likely swapped to “ignore mode” as soon as he opened his mouth. Ken was invested in his reading his magazine showcasing women’s fashion. Or perhaps it was more akin to looking at the pictures, rather than reading. Fuuka occasionally looked up from her laptop and awkwardly smiled out of pure pity. Yukari tapped away at her phone, disgusted with Junpei’s nonsense being directly funneled into her ears. Kotone was not afraid to express her boredom with a considerably sized yawn. Shinjiro stood silently in the corner, only occasionally bothering to look up at the ruckus.

"Oh come on man! Was anyone listening?" Junpei desperately asked.

"We were trying to not listen to you, Stupei," Yukari said.

"Although I do not possess the necessary qualifications to assess human behavior, I can draw conclusions from the others that you are ‘full of bull shit,’ as they say," Aigis said.

"Man, you guys just like to rain on my parade," Junpei complained, fidgeting with the chopsticks in his instant noodles.

"No…you’re just full of shit," Yukari reiterated.

"It is my belief that all humans are full of shit until one relieves themself in the restroom, so I do not understand how that makes Junpei any different," Aigis said. confused.

"Aigis- never mind. At least we can all agree that Junpei is the dumb one."

"Aw, come on! You guys act like you don’t have a little somethin’-somethin’ going on yourselves, riiiiiight Mitsuru?" he said, nudging Mitsuru on the side.

"Junpei, I wouldn’t have time for a relationship even if I wanted one," Mitsuru said, glaring at him.

"Heh, don’t act like I haven’t seen the way you glance at Akihiko punchin’ away at shadows!"

Akihiko, who just so happened to be sitting beside Mitsuru, looked at Junpei in utter confusion. Mitsuru, on the other hand, was rather displeased with Junpei’s antics, and her face quickly turned red from pure rage(?).

"Thats quite enough, Junpei," Mitsuru said, pushing him away.

Akihiko was still confused, unable to understand why Mitsuru kept her arms crossed and avoided looking at him entirely.

"See? All of have a lil’ special someone we’re eyeing up!" Junpei said proudly, despite almost having his head knocked off by Mitsuru.

"I don’t. I’m too old to have a crush," Ken said while flipping through the women’s fashion magazine.

"Yeah, whatever you say kid. Not even Fuuka is safe!"

Upon hearing her name, Fuuka looked up from her computer in shock. She quickly closed the screen of her laptop enough so that the screen would go black.

"W-what did I do?" she said, not having heard the full conversation.

Junpei walked around the table to where Fuuka was sitting and rested his elbow on her shoulder.

"You know exactly what you with all of those hours spent on World of Warcraft with your boyfriend."

Fuuka immediately flustered. "I-I wasn’t even playing that! I was on Club Penguin just now..."

"Damn, girl, even playing other games with each other!"

"Junpei, please! I have no idea what you’re talking about!"

"Yeah, sure ya don’t," Junpei said, walking away with a wink and finger guns. "See? None of you guys can say crap ‘bout me!"

"I can, and I second the robot girl," Shinjiro said, not even sparing Junpei a second of eye contact.

"Come on, man! There has to be someone you like."

"Nope. Couldn’t care less for that shit."

"What about our leader, here?" Junpei said, gesturing to Kotone.

"You’re still on this?" she said, desperately waiting for him to move on from the topic.

"Well, duh! There has to be a little lady that Shinjiro’s been eyein’ up!”

"Tch," Shinjiro said, crossing his arms and looking away.

"Arf, arf!" Koromaru yapped, putting his muzzle on the table.

"Even Koromaru agrees that something’s up with you! Come on, Shinji, spill it!"

 "I ain’t got nothin’ to spill to you. Plus it’s not like anyone would give a shit about me that much anyways," he said, leaving the dining area to walk up the steps.

"Arf!"

"Koromaru says that Shinjiro’s claims are incorrect," Aigis said.

Shinjiro stopped in his tracks at the base of the stairs.

"Oooh? Who’s the lucky lady eyeing him up?" Junpei said, leaning in closer to Aigis.

"Arf!"

"He says that Kotone has been harboring feelings for him for quite some time now."

Koromaru nodded his head in confirmation.

"So Kotone is the dirty little liar among us" he said, shooting her a sly side eye.

Kotone had been tuning out Junpei’s nonsense while chatting with Yukari, but Shinjiro, on the other hand, heard every last word of it. Junpei was simply under the assumption that he had went upstairs by now, hence he why he continued digging for Shinjiro’s secrets with little to no regard. Shinjiro was very much still on the first floor of the dorm, his heart racing and fearing what Koromaru would say next. He stood as still as he possibly could, thinking that perhaps, Junpei would be too stupid to notice him if he remained motionless. Despite that, with him under the assumption that Shinjiro went upstairs, what more secrets would Koromaru be willing to spill to Aigis and Junpei? It was a double-edged sword, and Shinjiro couldn’t win either way.

"Arf arf!"

"Koromaru says, that is not all."

Shinjiro began to sweat. He was in real trouble now.

"Arf arf, arf!"

"He says that Shinjiro likes Kotone too, but is adamant about not letting it slip."

He says, as Koromaru just let it slip to Aigis and ultimately all of SEES., Shinjiro thought, clenching his jaw and fist.

"I never said a damn thing like that!" Shinjiro said, turning around to face the table of knights and their snitch of a commander that have assembled to conspire against him.

The table went silent, as Shinjiro could feel his face heating up, giving away his stance on the matter. Even Ken and Fuuka looked up at him, frozen in almost complete silence like the rest. The only one who moved a muscle was Koromaru, wagging his tail and happily panting.

"Arf arf!"

"He said, you most certainly said that," Aigis translated.

Shinjiro clenched his fist. Koromaru was a dog, he didn’t know better, and he couldn’t bring himself to be mad at him. Though just this once, Shinjiro wished that maybe Koromaru would keep his mouth shut.

Kotone’s eyes eventually met Shinjiro’s gaze, and he could not bear to look at her for very long. He was outed by the dog, the goddamn dog of all things, in front of the entirety of S.E.E.S. Now, he would be roped into Junpei’s tomfoolery for probably the rest of time. Not to mention, the rest of S.E.E.S. taking their turns at a jab as well. All because of the young lady who, intentionally or not, healed a wound long left bleeding on his heart. He grumbled and turned around to storm off, until Kotone stopped him dead in his tracks.

"...Wait," she said.

Shinjiro turned around just barely enough to look at her.

"…Don’t leave before I have a chance to speak...please. I like you too, Senpai."

"I don’t want any of your pity.”

Kotone got up and walked around in front of Shinjiro. She stood on the tips of her toes and placed her palm on the back of his head, nudging him down to her height.

Whispering in his ear, she said, "I’ve liked you for a while actually."

“Is that so?”

“Don’t believe me?” she asked, catching Shinjiro off guard with a quick kiss on the cheek.

Shinjiro jumped backwards, red-faced out of pure shock. Kotone looked up and gave him a smile akin to that of an angel pure of heart.

“N-not here! All of S.E.E.S. is watching!” Shinjiro said.

Kotone turned around, and S.E.E.S. was conveniently, not paying attention at this time. Or at least they appeared to not be paying any attention, which the exception of Koromaru, who was gleefully wagging his tail and panting with a smile.

“Believe me now?” Kotone said, ignoring what Shinjiro said.

He took a deep breath to compose himself, disregarding his totally-not-paying-attention friends. He walked towards Kotone and put his arm around her, practically engulfing her with his hold.

“…Let’s get away from these idiots so that I can get a word in without someone snickering,” he said, as Junpei continued repressing his snickering, albeit very badly.

She nodded her head, and Shinjiro guided her up the stairs. Glancing back to make sure they were gone, Junpei let out the most ungodly wheeze that was a result of many strenuous minutes of built-up snickers.

“Man, who gets outed by a dog like that!” Junpei said in between laughs.

“Grrr…arf!”

“Koromaru said to choose you words carefully, as he knows about the secrets you hold within as well,” Aigis so very kindly translated for Junpei.

“Secrets? What secrets? The fact that Chidori totally loooooooves me?”

“Arf arf arf!”

“The fact that you have various pornography magazi-“

Junpei leaped across the table to cover Aigis’s mouth before she could finish relaying Koromaru’s words.

“Hey now, that’s a little personal, don’tcha think?”

“Oh, like exposing somebody’s crush isn’t, Stupei,” Yukari said, rolling her eyes.

“Hey, at least that worked out!” Junpei retaliated.

“As if Koromaru wasn’t the one to get the last laugh.”

Koromaru sat down and barked proudly, tail still wagging and free of worry from any repercussions.

This is an interesting question. I had to sit down to write a thoughtful response while waiting for my shift to start.

As a character for me, Makoto can be very relatable. He can come across as intimidating, but he's considerate of the people around him. He has no problem with calling you out and defends those who can't or don't normally defend themselves.

Seeing him bonding with Koro melts my heart. If he had lived, I pictured Koromaru in his care instead of Ken's. I like in Reload that he takes his role as a leader seriously.

In the movies, he is also a guy who struggles with loss in his life and always withdraws himself from others. I don't call him emo because the term doesn't suit him. Rather, I describe him as reserved and introverted. I think people call him emo because his hair is always in his eyes.

As a matter of fact, I don't think he was ever called that in the games and movies. If I am wrong, please correct me with canon material, hehe. 😆

I haven't finished Reload yet, but I have been enjoying the difference between the original and his characteristics. I love that now we can see his thoughts instead of narration in past P3 installments. How he acts in Reload reminds me a lot of the P3 movies.

His relationships (romantic as well) show how genuine he is with relationships. He always goes out of his way to spend time with an old couple who lost their son, which favors a lot of Makoto.

Who does that? I'll tell you, not many 16/17-year-old boys (or girls) hang out with old people these days. The more social links you are involved in just brings out his character, and I love it.

What I've mentioned can be seen in the original games. But Reload and the P3 movies help me love him more, and that is why he is my favorite protagonist.

The only confirmed S.E.E.S. members that are not yet in their 30s (this 2022) is Junpei, Ken, and maybe Koromaru [if he's still around which I hope so].

Sojiro Sakura might be the same generation as the Persona 2: Eternal Punishment cast.

Ryotaro Dojima (1970) is the same generation as the P2:EP cast and is three years younger than Boafu, and three years older than Katsuya.

Reiji Kido's child is probably the same age as Ken Amada and the Phantom Thieves.

Persona 3 Arcana Swap

Just a quick note, Koromaru is pretty much the same because I have no clue how to really change the storyline of a dog.

Name: Shinjiro Aragaki

Arcana: Fool

Description:

Has the power of the wildcard. Shinjiro is a quiet and reserved young man who mostly prefers to keep to himself. He was childhood friends with Akihiko and Miki, often playing around with them after school and pulling pranks together. However ten years ago, Shinjiro lost both of his parents in the Moonlight Bridge incident and immediately closed himself off. He was quickly passed off to his aunt as he needed a new legal guardian, however they quickly discovered that his aunt just wasn't equipped to take care of a child. After this he was passed around from family member to family member until he was accepted into Gekkoukan and moved into the dorms. Due to the constant moving, Shinjiro was never able to properly form any friendships or come to terms with his loss, leading to him developing a very apathetic view on life, not really caring what happens one way or the other. It's not until he joins SEES, learns about their objective and rekindles his old friendship with Aki that he begins to open his eyes and appreciate everything around him.

Name: Mitsuru Kirijo

Arcana: Magician

Description:

A cheerful and friendly girl in Shinjiro's class. Mitsuru is the first of Shinjiro's classmates to welcome him to Gekkoukan. She and Akihiko have known each other since middle school so they are quite close despite their occasional bickering. Mitsuru joins SEES shortly after Shinjiro after Minako discovers her during the Dark Hour and realises she has the potential. While she can be a little clumsy or awkward at times, Mitsuru always manages to say the right thing at the right time, so she's often in charge of raising the morale of the group when things are looking dire. She also can't help but want to help whenever she sees someone who is in trouble but denies any help from anyone, despite how people often describe this trait of hers as annoying. Thanks to this, she's insistent on helping Yukari despite her numerous protests.

Name: Akihiko Sanada

Arcana: Lovers

Description:

Shinjiro's classmate and close friend. The two of them knew each other as children but lost contact after Shinjiro moved away. While in middle school, Akihiko met Mitsuru and, despite getting a little exasperated by her at times, he respects her way with words and willingness to help others. Akihiko is a newer member of SEES when Shinjiro arrives and is still learning the ropes. He's a little cautious of Aigis due to her family's ties to the Moonlight Bridge incident but still trusts her judgement in battle. Akihiko joined the fight against the shadows because he lost his little sister, Miki, during the incident ten years ago and wants to prevent that from happening to anyone else. Despite the time apart and how much they've changed over the years, Akihiko and Shinjiro's teamwork is as strong as ever.

Name: Minako Arisato

Arcana: Emperor

Description:

One of the original members of SEES. Minako is a spunky girl in her third and final year at Gekkoukan High. She is extremely popular with her classmates due to her prowess in the kickboxing club, winning tournament after tournament. She is one of the powerhouses of the group and tends to charge into battle head first without thinking, much to Aigis' dismay. She lost her parents as a child and was raised in an orphanage with her twin brother. Thanks to this experience, she feels as though she has a duty to protect those younger than her. This is both a good thing and a bad thing, as it often leads to her prioritising others' needs over her own. Due to an event that occurred a few years ago, her relationship with her brother has soured and, despite her best efforts, it shows no signs of improving.

Arcana: Empress

Description:

One of the original members of SEES. Aigis is an intelligent and focused girl in her third and final year at Gekkoukan High. She is admired by the majority of the student body, due to her position as the student council president and her reputation of running the school better than the principal ever could. Her classmates like to joke that she's like a robot with how well she can calculate how events will turn out and plan accordingly. Aigis is the strategist of SEES and acts as the de facto leader whenever Ikutsuki isn't around to give orders. Aigis fights shadows due to a sense of guilt as it was her family and their senseless actions that led to the Dark Hour's creation; however, while she won't admit it, she can't help but feel bitter towards her grandfather for making her and her father clean up after his mistakes. Aigis is a nickname given to her by her classmates that everyone else picked up… after three years of calling her that no one can really remember her real name anymore. Not that she cares.

Name: Ken Amada

Arcana: Priestess

Description:

A young boy currently attending Gekkoukan Elementary. Ken is a quiet, polite boy who is unfortunately getting bullied by some of his classmates. SEES learns about him through Ikutsuki mentioning he has the potential, however they first meet when they save him from Tartarus after his bullies 'played a prank' on him and locked him in the Gekkoukan High gym overnight. Their original intent was just to get him in trouble for trespassing in the highschool overnight. After this, Minako immediately latched onto him as a big sister figure and began teaching him self defence, just in case those bullies ever tried to bother him again. Ken is extremely intelligent and talented with technology, managing to modify his laptop and create entire programs by himself, despite his age. This causes him to develop a large interest in Fuuka, desperately wanting to figure out how her systems function. Fuuka oftens worried that he may try to dismantle her at some point in his quest for knowledge but Ken would never go that far. Ken is a big fan of Featherman and finds this whole persona user thing very exciting due to the similarities to the show. He especially likes how his navigation abilities essentially make him the guy in the chair for the rest of the group.

Name: Fuuka Yamagishi

Arcana: Aeon

Description:

An anti shadow weapon developed by Ikutsuki's team of scientists. Her appearance was based on the daughter of one of the engineers who unfortunately passed away in the Moonlight Bridge incident ten years ago. Fuuka starts off very rigid and mission oriented, with an odd fixation on supporting Shinjiro, however the more she accompanies the rest of SEES, the more she begins to develop her own personality. She gains an interest in flowers and cooking; she tends to a lovely garden on the dorm rooftop that everyone is happy to help out in, however she lacks any kind of talent for cooking, leading to the rest of the group feeling intense terror whenever she is in the kitchen. Shinjiro and Minato are trying their best to teach her, however neither of them are having much luck. Her codename from her creators is Oracle.

Name: Junpei Iori

Arcana: Hermit

Description:

The owner of Koromaru and a second year in Gekkoukan. Junpei is a friendly guy in the same class as Yukari and Fuuka. His father was in charge of the local shrine and its upkeep, however his father passed away a year ago and Junpei is left to take care of both Koromaru and the shrine. He tries his best to stay on top of everything but the responsibility quickly weighs him down. Junpei has conflicted thoughts on his father as he had a tendency to drink and take out his frustration on Junpei and his mother, which lead to Junpei's mother leaving them making him feel extremely bitter towards the both of them. However Junpei has plenty of fond memories of how happy and proud his father was of their work at the shrine and his mother playing with him at the playground; he desperately wants to hold onto those positive memories, despite everything else. Joining SEES was a blessing for Junpei as now he has a reason to move forward instead of dwelling on the past. And not to mention, now he has a better place for Koromaru to live and plenty of people to help take care of him.

Name: Yukari Takeba

Arcana: Justice

Description:

A standoffish girl in her second year at Gekkoukan. Despite her prickly nature and her often sharp tongue, Yukari is still a very caring girl and eager to help out her peers when they need it. She never used to be so closed off, however a couple of years ago while walking home from an evening out, Yukari's father was killed by a shadowy figure in front of Yukari. This caused her to fall into a depression and begin pushing away those close to her, including her mother. Yukari became resentful as her father's killer wasn't found, however years later she learned that it was a persona that killed her father. Due to this discovery, she has made it her mission to find that persona's user and make them pay. The only piece of information she has to go on is the harp the persona wielded.

Name: Minato Arisato

Arcana: Hierophant

Description:

One of the original members of SEES. Minato is a quiet and soft-spoken boy who prefers to keep to himself and will act aggressively if it makes people leave him alone. He would be in his third year, however he dropped out and ran away from the dorms, despite Minako and Aigis' best attempts to stop him. He lost his parents at a young age and was raised in an orphanage with his twin sister, Minako. However, Minato could never develop the same optimism that Minako has and would often wish he could see their parents again, despite what that may entail. The two of them were inseparable, especially after awakening to their personas and moving into the dorms. Minato was never able to gain full control over his persona like Minako was able to, due to his mindset. This would unfortunately lead to him losing control of it one night and accidentally killing a man who was in the area, in front of his child. This incident riddled him with guilt and made him believe he was dangerous to be around, so he ran away. Minako keeps trying to persuade him to come back but he's terrified of hurting her, so he refuses.

omg arqa looks totally different. like i remember the weird purple vibe zone, but the way the walls are all curved, they really did a fantastic job remaking tartarus. like it just looks bony and curvy and creepy. i can't wait to see disco rainbow zone

other things i love: i really like the new shuffle time. the whole "unlock major arcana" thing is a nice gimmick, having random things to smash in the dungeon is mindless fun, i'm just really loving it all.

i also noticed skills like kouha are in the game now, meaning that dark/light aren't just insta kill only, meaning that ken and koro are gonna be MUCH more useful

god the new summon animations are SICK AS HELL

btw i did notice that junpei still can't use a katana. i actually have always loved that for him. he straight up wields a sword like a baseball bat and always will. i think that's wonderful. there is a Lot of characterization in skills in this game.

like the games always do some personality = skills corrolation. but like. junpei using a sword wrong. akihiko and shinjiro having matched personas. spoilers spoilers EVERYTHING about ken, including the fact that his evolved persona suddenly pivots HARD into healing. the fact that evolved persona are tied to plot and character development rather than social links. it's all so goooood FOR EXAMPLE:

akihiko just coming in with mazio when no one else has multi hit attacks yet is actually really cool. like probably was like that in the original, but now that they're all so much slicker it really is like. oh yeah he really has been doing this for years. oh yeah he's just Better.

i actually really like that in p3 -- when makoto joins, he's new to personas, but yukari has been in SEES for a bit, and mitsuru and akihiko have been fighting for 2-3 years already. like it just adds to the vibe. makoto is the team leader, but mitsuru is in charge, he's the new kid, everyone else knows more than you.

and that theme keeps going, too. shinji is the Retired Vet; aegis is a shadow fighting robot who has been at it 10+ years; fuuka and junpei and koromaru are newbies like you, ken is a newbie but has known about shadows for years -- i like p4 and 5's Scrappy Friends And Newbies All thing, but i like how p3's vibe is just. so different.

like yeah if you take the fighting games etc into account -- of Course it's the SEES crew that started the Shadow Hunters or whatever they're called, of course it's mitsuru who recruits the p4 kids; SEES is like. professionals. pro shadow fighters. and that has downsides the game very much explores -- there's a LOT of ptsd and mistrust and a lack of team unity EVERYWHERE, these guys aren't friends until the last half of the game -- but it also. man. i love these fucked up kids and their Drive.

and if that sounds all edgelord grimdark it's also the only game where a literal dog is a party member. no cute mascots who are secretly More. nope we have a 10 year old and a Dog. i love this game

OH ALSO i love the new translation? script? whatever it is? it's basically the same as i remember, but the terms of address are all different -- the menu refers to akihiko as "sanada," because that's what makoto does; yukari is takeba but junpei is junpei, i just. love when you can tell Relationship through Names
