Monster Tale - Um elo de amizade entre Humanos e Monstros

Monster Tale é um obscuro metroidvania lançado em 2011 para Nintendo DS pela Majesco Entertainment. Ellie, uma garota advinda do mundo humano, ela é transportada para o mundo dos monstros, fazendo amizade com Chomp, um monstrinho que tem um forte apetite. Os dois unem forças para enfrentar os Kid Kings, um grupo de jovens que está causando o terror em Monster Land. Os atributos de Monster Tale envolvem interação com objetos para melhorar as habilidades de Chomp, assim como outras missões. Basicamente ele é um tamagotchi ambulante, uma hora ele tem que ajudar a garotinha de cabelo azul, mas como a barra de life dele decresce rapidamente, Chomp tem sempre que retornar para a tela de baixo pra se recuperar e interagir com os objetos que ele encontra. Ellie, por outro lado, tem um gameplay similar com Mega Man, como por exemplo a habilidade de disparar esferas de plasma por um bracelete e escalar paredes, como em Mega Man "X". Vale ressaltar os Save Points, que lembram muito Castlevania, especialmente o título mais famoso, Symphony of the Night, o melhor trabalho de Koji Igarashi...

Hello there and welcome to this year's Gaming Horrors in the Dimension of Spookiness where we conclude our history with the BloodRayne series. In 2005, BloodRayne the live action movie was released and, it wasn't very good. Part of that is because it was directed by... Uwe Boll! And, then Advent Rising came out the same year and it was disaster. Thus, leaving the BloodRayne series in limbo and being the main reason why it faded into obscurity. For many years, no new BloodRayne game was released. But, that was until in 2011, BloodRayne Betrayal was released and it took on a more 2D style thanks to WayFoward and Abstraction Games. I will be reviewing the Switch version which is also known as BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites. It is one of many versions of BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites. For a first time BloodRayne fan, it is hard to get used to the fact that you have to attack enemies before sucking their blood whereas in previous games, that wasn't needed. Terminal Reality also went on to develop the hugely successful and critically acclaimed game known as Ghostbusters: The Video Game. And, Majesco got out of bankruptcy thanks to the Cooking Mama franchise. So yeah, everyone has a happy ending here! BloodRayne Betrayal concludes the series following up on BloodRayne 2 and it is a 2D action game as opposed to the previous two games being 3D. It's kinda like the opposite of Super Mario 64 if you ask me. 

Fun Fact #:1 Kagan was originally supposed to be portrayed by myself in-costume with a tux from a thrift store and a fake moustache. His backstory of him becoming fatter was supposed to be a nod to Blubberella and he would've also mentioned Blubberella as one of his kills. He would've slain her with the Sword of Nightmares which would've been an Adventure Force foam sword or a Nerf Vendetta Double Sword or whatever sword I would've gotten at the thrift store. But, due to time constraints and the fact that I don't travel to Value Village as often as I used to, I had to scrap that part and make Kagan into Kagan the Conquerer with his battle axe. And yes, the video itself was rushed to meet a deadline. 

Fun Fact #2: I used Uberduck.ai for the Lori Loud voice due to time constraints. I could've commissioned VA work from MacStarVA to do Lori's voice. But, this video had to be rushed to meet a deadline and I used Uberduck.ai for Lori's voice instead. Believe me, she would've done an excellent job voicing Lori in this vid even if she is an unseen character.

BloodRayne will be released on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on January 9 via Massacre Video. The 2005 action-horror film is based on the video game franchise from Majesco Entertainment and game developer Terminal Reality.

Uwe Boll (House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark) directs from a script by Guinevere Turner (American Psycho). Kristanna Loken, Michelle Rodriguez, and Ben Kingsley star with Michael Madsen, Matthew Davis, Geraldine Chaplin, Will Sanderson, Udo Kier, Billy Zane, Meat Loaf, and Michael Paré.

Worms 4: Mayhem released in July of 2005 for Xbox and PS2, and August for PC. It was published by Codemasters in Europe and later by Majesco Entertainment in October for the US (didn't release on PS2 there though, weird). The game is a direct follow-up to Worms 3D, addressing the complaints people had with the 3D gameplay.

The gameplay is the same as Worms 3D, but much more polished. In terms of customisation, the usual soundbanks and team flags are included alongside the ability to give your worm hats that previously debuted in Worms Forts, now much more expansive. In addition to that, the game also introduces customisation for what your worm wears on its face, eyes and hands.

Alongside all that, the game features what is known as "The Weapon Factory", which lets you create your own custom weapon for your team. You can choose between it being a projectile, thrown or air strike weapon, then customise its appearence, strength and affects. Speaking of weapons, this game also introduces quite a few new ones, such as the Sentry Gun, Sniper Rifle, Bovine Blitz and more!

The game also has a proper story mode with an overarching story and fully animated fmv cutscenes, as opposed to the previous games' missions that have their own self-contained story (although Worms 3D and Forts did have some missions be connected).

It follows your team of worms as university students as they retreat with their teacher, Professor Worminkle, into his time machine. They travel to different time periods to collect resources to fuel the time machine and get back home. Challenge mode is also featured.
