Knitting woollen mittens punishment for misbehaved submissive wife
When I complete the knitting of my second ankle length woollen nightgown I will have to begin the knitting of four pairs of grey woollen mittens added to the list of items I must complete before my current punishment will be deemed to be complete due to my last misbehaviour. Once the first pair is complete I will wear a pair of woollen mittens at all times when leaving the house.
Tumblr media
I know this will be humiliating for me and make my position obvious to everyone as it will be April at least by then and this added humiliation will continue until I have completed not only these four pairs of wool mittens but also the knitting of three pairs of double layer pale yellow thumbless woollen mittens which will be used as part of my future punishment if required.
Tumblr media
The thought of being confined to these thumbless, woollen and infantile mittens will ensure I improve my behaviour as I need to. I cannot imagine how humiliating it would be to wear these but perhaps others have suffered such humiliation for failing to behave politely, respectfully and meekly.

We’re not ugly
We’re not beautiful
We’re angry!
From the women who protested the 1970 Miss World pageant in London (via the movie Misbehaviour).
Still extremely applicable today, because yeah, I’m fucking angry that in many areas of life nothing matters more about a woman than the way she looks. So many people think women should look a certain way to be taken seriously, to have the right to wear something, to exist in the world. And they have no problem letting you know. In social media comments, in whispers, out loud, with well-meant remarks and hateful words.
It’s infuriating. And the most infuriating thing about it is: It sticks. After hearing and reading and absorbing the message incessantly, it’s hard not to buy into it a little bit, even when you know, logically, in your heart, it’s bullshit.
So I thought a reminder couldn’t hurt: We rock. Women are incredible, no matter our looks. It’s not always easy to believe it yourself (trust me, I know), but we truly are spectacular ❤️‍🔥

After several days I finally finished him. Dislyte is very dear to me and so its the culture of my country, however I know I will NEVER see costarrican mythology representation so I MADE IT MYSELF
Jeikol is based on the main deity of Costa Rica, the creator god Sibö. Sibö is who made Earth as we know it, who made humans and who taugh humanity everything they needed to survive but before the creation of humanity Sibö liberated the earth from the Ba(demons). Even to this day Sibö still protects us from the Ba and from evil in general. Sibö creates and maintains order.
Visually he was hard to make bc he's only described as "handsome young man" and the only visual examples of him look like this:
Tumblr media
But I ended up basing him a lot on Sibö statues, native costarrican clothing and bribri hunters(bribri is an indigenous group of Costa Rica), the gold and jade that appear a lot on precolombine art, I also used Pablo Presbere as inspo given that he was a real indigenous chief that fighted agaisnt the spaniards and a real national hero and his story reminds me of Sibö. I was actually gonna name Jeikol after him but I wanted to give him a name that originated in Costa Rica
I also wanted to show Sibö's imposing presence so I leaned more towards his warrior side, but as for his esper Jeikol I want him to teach others just like how Sibö does gor humanity.

a missouri school is bringing back wooden paddle spanking as a punishment for kids.....and, according to US stats, this isn't even unusual, as in a year (pre covid), an average of 70,000 school children are physically punished in the US. black children and disabled children are 50% more likely to be physically assaulted as punishment than white or non disabled students.

Hate when classmates send you a survey for their school project but the survey is quite obviously a bit biased and the maker of the survey seems to like. Be annoyed by feminists and think cancel culture has gone too far

kissing at a crowded party. ok but at a company comingling party or something idk
Tumblr media
Accompanied by a glass of punch, the in-house counsellor decided to take it easy in a more silent space. While she had been there for networking, and knew very well how much that would help with her career progression and livelihood, she stuck around anyway. But after an hour or so, everybody had begun to disperse from work discussions, and more towards gossip.
Sitting in a dim corner by herself was healthier than letting herself join the mix of crowds, at least, until she was done with the drinks and the free food that the company had to offer. After all, this was a healthcare company - well, on the surface - with a lot of influence in various industries. As such, it was easy to tap into other fields through its expansive career choices.
Which meant that the crowd was also just as large. Some people knew each other, which was probably how they got in such a large conglomerate anyway.
But just as her mind wandered afar a man had come to rescue her from the absolute deafening silence of the party (sarcasm be damned), and she could hardly hear his voice beyond the Hispanic friendliness. Were they all like him, or had he been doing this to survive in this same sphere as she had?
His arms were made of gestures, as though he was trying to tell her a story, or maybe he wanted to get to know her, but she could hardly make the words that left his lips. His hair shaggy, but it wasn't hiding a handsome face - in fact, it only complemented the sculpted features.
She could still barely hear him above the crowd, but he would not stop speaking. Perhaps her ears had already been busted from the music, the ambience, and likely, the alcohol she had been downing for the past hour.
But was she always a lightweight? She didn't stop to think that. And she tried to play along, listen to the melody in his words, even if she could barely attach meaning to his speech.
Her calculating blue eyes barely faltered when she let him come closer, watching him intently. Was that concern in his face? What an easy book to read, quite like a picture book. But was she anything like that, she wondered? Everybody she knew, everybody she'd met wanted to avoid her, like she was just air passing through.
She threw her head back in laughter at the epiphany - that she was lonely all these times - and landed against his shoulder. It was a solid place to land. A real person, even if he was not all so honest about his vulnerabilities. Why would he be that way with her, anyway?
When their eyes met during the silent moment, she felt the desire to ask something build like a rhythm in her. Her hands had by then wandered on his chest, and shoulder, although not intentionally sensual - but that she was losing her own sight of what reality was and wasn't. She knew she begged for something, but even she couldn't tell what she said.
Not until their lips met.
Strangers with attraction, but strangers nonetheless. But at least she was not invisible for once. When she inhaled his breath, her lips shivered into mouthing a few words.
