Lenny: Come on! Let me see that smile.
Sean, sulking: I don't wanna.
Lenny: Please?
Sean:
Sean: I WANTED TO GO DRINKING WITH YOU AND ENGLISH!
Arthur: It's okay kid, I'm gonna have a lot of miserable moments in life where you two can help me drink myself into a stupor.
Sean:
Sean: Yeah, okay.

who: @ofgoldengrove
where: minutes after the cedric tyrell’s 3am council meeting came to a close
There continued a strange swirl within her, teetering between what had now begun to develop as nerves within the very pit of her stomach, fully contemplating the scale of the operation they were to undergo; she would not take any sleep in this night, though would ensure, force herself to get some sleep tomorrow night. They still had another day, and needed to give the Westerland forces enough of a heads start to reach Seagard; there was no use in them leaving too quickly and their forces not aligning. It needed to be together.
And there he was as she slipped from the council room; walking along that narrowly lit corridor with flickering torches, the sun soon upon the horizon. The birds would soon be singing, and yet, their last interaction at the ball, sat on the ground in smoke and haze had ended...well, she didn't know how to describe it. Only that something lingered in the air between them, as though she wanted to say something, as though he wanted to say something; it was clear they needed to speak on something. And now? It was only amplified; with the news that it would be them launching an attack within the Kraken's seas. Some may say they were infected by madness, or ambition, or greed.
It would be her only shot, and she needed a clear head; clear enough to ensure she was not wondering what it was someone may have wished to say to her, what she wished to say to another, lest something happen to her. Even in triumph, she prayed they would find no regrets. "Is this what we are to get used to then?" She called to the figure walking ahead of her, watching him slowly come to a pause; three steps it took. Three steps for him to pause. "Whatever this, is?" Her hands raised between the space between them.
What was she saying?
She knew what she was saying.
"Are we to go to war feeling some sort of, discontentment with one another?"
