Shadowheart and Lae'zel have obvious similarities, but there's something incredibly telling about how the former isn't particularly excited about serving Selûne so soon after being dumped by Shar, and the latter jumps head first into serving Orpheus after being abandoned by Vlaakith.

Shadowheart being 40+ and Lae'zel being in her early 20s really shines through here.

I'm experiencing burnout! Quite a bit of it, in fact. I have loved selling stickers, and I'm sure I'll continue again, but I'm in dire need of a break.

So! These two acrylic charms are back up for pre-order once more until April 28th. I will also be putting up a new Eclipse design in shop that will double as a sticker and double-sided keychain (like the Sun/Moon ones above) and this Chica will be going up as an 11x14 print. Once pre-orders are closed, I will work only on getting them to me, shipping them out, and then closing shop for the following weeks for a very much needed break!

Decided to draw Thorn & Zeta a couple times to get a better feel of how both of them act.

Thorn's confident and active, with a passion for his craft. If someone messes with his precious plants, he'll be more than ready to chase 'em off, and might even toss the culprit sky high with a root or two. On the flipside, he's not afraid to cool his jets when someone ain't feeling their best. Sometimes you just need to let someone talk for a while, maybe ramble bits and pieces about the weird-ass dream they had while you carry them to a proper bed. Or a couch, at the very least. Just get outta the flower bush, please.

Zeta lets themselves get pulled along for any metaphorical rides without much complaint, but if they don't get the snooze time they need (aka you poke a sleeping bear when you REALLY shouldn't even think to), they're a force to be reckoned with, not helped by their sonic scream ability. An ability they seldom use, mostly because it wrecks their throat if used too many times without a break. And considering they don't talk much to begin with...

...Yeah, they don't have much in terms of "ammo." =3="

Being married to someone who also wears glasses, but doesn’t need them HALF as much as I do is wild. Like she’ll just take off her glasses and hand them to me for cleaning. While. She is driving. If I do that? Congrats, I’ve killed us both before the next cross street. With glasses off, my world is shapey blobs of color. I haven’t been able to make sense of distance objects since I was like ten. She? Is fine! (But I’m still instinctively clutching the dashboard in a panic.)

Similarly, she’ll be talking about something in the new shower, and I’ll just be nodding sagely along. And then, five minutes into this convo, she realizes: “You can’t see in the shower, can you?” No. No, my love. I certainly cannot. Saved me SO much stress immediately after surgery, I can tell you. Couldn’t have told you WHAT my incision situation looked like. Also might as well be doing the whole thing with my eyes shut, but y’know. We take what we can get.

what's the other thing that is also fucked up?

that bucky is a giver. he is always the one to show affection, admiration and caring towards buck, who simply has no clue that he worths that much in bucky's heart.

he always sees buck as somewhere, something he could hold onto, to return to and to care about. it is almost like his instincts to ask people if buck is doing alright whenever they are not together, and his whole mood later will depends on the answer he gets.

then when he thought he lost buck, they were brought together again. he was just genuinely glad, and there wasn't any other thing that mattered more than buck being alive and reunited with him.

well, the thing is, buck also loves bucky, but not the same way that bucky loves him, and he loves marge more.

when he said he has popped the question to marge and she said yes, bucky wasn't exactly happy about it. he tried to gaslight himself into that he's happy for his best friend because he has a pretty girl waiting for him to come home, but another part of him knows that he wants to keep buck to himself. but he cannot, and could never do so, in any universe they are together as friends.

because buck belongs to the greater world and his girl; and bucky belongs to him, he's wholely devoted to the guy even if that means his feelings will never be reciprocated.

bucky doesn't care though, because he's one hell of a giver, and he'll give away his feelings to buck because a part of him is still holding onto the days they were the most important thing in each other's lives. and he would never let go of it.
