The Evolutionary War II battle rages on when the New Warriors raid High Evolutionary's ship. High Evolutionary sends the army of Evolutionaries after the New Warriors while he wants to deal with Sun Girl since he has a major grudge with her for blowing up his machine. The New Warriors fight the Evolutionaries while Hummingbird reads High Evolutionary's mind to find out the reason for the massacre on the non-human beings and what that Judgment Day really means. However, High Evolutionary throws them off and captures Kaine to stick him into the Death Machine and use him as a battery for the non-human genocide plan. Then, Justice calls up the reinforcements who are Silhouette, Jake Waffles and Mister Whiskers to fend off the Evolutionaries by devolving them into the original forms (the cavemen). High Evolutionary was surprised to see the two of his creations (the New Men) alive since he killed the anthro animals except for the two New Men who escaped the massacre. While everyone fights on, Water Snake frees Kaine from the shackles.

Selah Burke

Powers: No powers. Her suit grants her abilities of flight and firing light blasts.

After Selah Burke was rescued by Spider-man and healed of the Carrion virus she decided to become a hero herself using a suit she got from her Dad. After going after the Wrecking Crew and losing she was again rescued by Spider-Man and taken back to his lair.

Whilst working with Spider-man and his Superior Six they came up against the Lightmaster. During the fight Selah realised that Lightmaster was her father using a similar suit that he had given her. Selah chose to side with her idol Spider-man and used her light powers to destroy Lightmaster’s device.

Selah recently joined the New Warriors after she was rescued from the Evolutionaries and helped the team to destroy the High Evolutionary’s machine, forcing him to flee.
