a little throwback to the end of s2 when one of the unknown (freaky evil god-like people) decided to corrupt our world, threaten to kill all of us, spaghettify our code to be recycled, and make a giant hole to bedrock
and we took one look at it and went <3 silly little swimming hole <3 for us <3

Starting lore
And Void loved them. Loved their little lives that were so meaningless compared to its own. The way they interacted, grew, and learned. Void was fascinated by that. Learning. That they were not created knowing of the universe, of how it worked and the vastness of it. But that as they grew and aged within the worlds of Alexios’s creation, so too did their understanding. Their love and their willingness to succeed. But that willingness, bred stubbornness. It led to fighting amongst the players both void and Alexios loved so dearly. The fighting was centered around two kingdoms. One of building and one of technology. There fighting as ancient as the kingdoms themselves. They fought for food, for land, for people and for what they themselves thought righteous. In his desperation to keep the people safe, Alexios himself tried to get the fighting to stop. To stop the blood being spilt in his own name. “But my lord!” The king had exclaimed, “they know not that our cause is just! They are heathens who don't yet know of your power.” Alexios saw through him. Saw his hate, his anger and selfishness. And knew he must do what he hated most. And punish the mortals who dared to disobey a god.
First, the wood Khalq used for its structures turned to dust, leaving a catastrophic wave of collapsing buildings. Castles went down like they were made of sand, homes like seashells on the shore. Next, the rain stopped coming. Water began to evaporate into the sky and never return. Those who were smart, fled to other lands. But there will always be the downdraught, or those too stubborn to leave. Finally, after all the crops dried up, and the last tree lost its leaf. A deadly plague whipped through the remaining. The already sick and dying were met with an illness to terrible to name. The final blow of it all, in the eyes of the people. They had angered their god. Split blood in his name despite his refusal. And for that crime, they, themselves, would end up as not but food for the flies. _____ The stories were old, with nothing but a few ancient and decrepit buildings to show for it. The two kingdoms had begun to recover slowly, when cries for independence started in the Southeast region of Khalq. A small farming nation, one separate from the two and away from their desolate lands, unable to produce enough for a family of five, let alone a town? The two kings could hardly say no. Agreed that with this freedom, that trade would never be threatened between them. No one King, queen, or any royalty could safeguard food from the other. And within this agreement, Ingeneria, Khalq, and the freshly founded nation of Oars Rest, gave a section of their territories to be truly neutral. To allow for trade between the tree kingdoms without worry. This system lasted generations. Lasted even after the kingdoms regrew, and the soil crawled its way back from the dead. As the dead trees rotted away, and more sprout up in their place. Hundreds of years of peace. Then, without a warning. A portal was opened. Its thundering sound awakening even those who fell into the deepest of slumbers. It’s rumored that a creature crawled its way out of that portal. With gnarly, sharpened teeth, hair thick like a sheep's wool, eyes that could spot you from miles away, and a thirst of blood so grand nothing could dream to quench. It attacked the people in the dead of night. Caring not for rank or for money. It only cared to satiate its ever-growing hunger, its lust for blood. People awoke that morning to half their towns decimated. Nothing but mutilated corpses, and a handful of very traumatized young children.
The rulers of these lands were made aware almost the second it happened. Khalq was awoken by the anguished screaming of a mother who lost their child, to this mass slaughter. Of the Queens now late son.  After this night, this monster was never seen or heard from again. Hiding somewhere within the darkest corners of this world. Ready to lash out once its hunger began again. Due to the slaughter, and the mass hunts for this creature, came riots in the outer parts of both Ingeneria and Khlaq. Two separate groups of people wishing to be freed. So, they would be able to gather their own troops and fight for themselves, without needing to write to the capitols. The kingdoms were hesitant to grow even smaller, fearing the idea of losing their resources yet again. After bloodied battles, and relatively peaceful demanding from either side. The Pact of the Lynx, and the Coalition of Spades was formed. One demanding the rights to expansion. The other the right to bear arms in the name of justice. And that leads us too now. You see,” The lady sat within the walls of the S.D.N.Z. In front of her sat a group of kids, “With Glitch still in hiding. It’s only a matter of time before it rises from its slumber, to change our lands once again.”

The Devoted Vampire in The Genshin Vampire Au
- The next step up from the legacy, these vampires are not born but rather made from a lower level vampire or distant kin of an arch, created by being bitten by an arch and turned. A human can also be turned this way.
- These folk always have full fangs, canines and lateral incisors, that match their arch’s.
- These folk always have extraordinary transformations, though they vary from fantastical versions of mundane creatures with a commanding/ethereal presence, to the outright heavenly…or damned
- These folk also possess a humanoid transformation, partially in the image of the arch that turned them. For example, anyone turned by Istaroth or Barbatos would have angelic features. Someone turned by Morax would hold draconic features, Buer would be fae, jinn, or elf like ect. The intensity of the features varies amongst devotees.
Some in the devoted class have "damned" forms. This can come to be from many factors- and not all are necessarily bad.
- The most common(positive) way for a Devoted Vampire to gain a damned form is simply due to the Arch they are sworn to perishing. This is one of the only cases where a damned form can be reversed, doing so only needs the vampire to re-swear them'self to the replacement arch and their original devoted form will be restored. Many devotees chose not to do this however, out of love for their original arch. For this reason, this is the only class of damned vampire that do not suffer any sort of suffering or physical pain, just a new corporal form and power set. Many choose not to call these vampires Damned Devotees at all, but rather prefer Mourning Devotees.
- The most common malevolent way to become damned is for the Devotee to forsake their arch, resulting in a suspension of their holy transformation, and gaining a cursed one instead through supernatural means per their oath.
- The next most common is for the devotee to forsake their oath to their arch while not necessarily forsaking the arch themself- such as a nun to Istaroth draining a human without consent for selfish means- or even killing a human.
- The one time a nun may hunt and collect blood unfreely taken is if it is not for her benefit, but for the benefit of a vampire in the nun’s care that is unable to gain blood on their own. The reason the binds of freedom may be waived in these cases is out of the urgency of time. The time needed to explain to a human that vampires are real and that not all are dangerous ect, may be moments the vampire in the nun's care doesn't have to spare. This urgent move is allotted to save lives, not take them and as such- no human life may be lost even in this emergency circumstance.

Boarding — Cask of Amontillado
Named after the Edgar Allan Poe poem, the basis of the name comes from when the Infrastructure General was trapped in the middle of the clear pillar which at the time of the Infrastructure General's imprisonment was made of deepslate bricks. The Infrastructure General had to be freed by dark methods, barely escaping with their life. The person who trapped the Infra Gen remains in their position as the Evil King of the Server…

The Path Splits — Lompoc Station and Vandenberg
If you choose to step off of the train and step onto the one at the next platform, you will be taken to the Lompoc Station. But that is not part of this line, and will not be discussed. Vandenberg station is a city full of experiments. They look like normal villagers but they are next to a satellite launch center, where many of them work. It is unknown as to what the city uses the satellites for, but they are in the favor of the king, only paying 30% in taxes.

reminder that espio is a cunty bartender in sonic x and that more people should headcanon him working at club rouge as a side hustle (useful for rouge too because there’s probably shady people there and he’s a ninja detective)
just… imagine the conversations he eavesdrops on… he’s a good listener… he’d do tricks for tips… the people watching…

Absolutely losing my mind over Scar’s stream today
He was already talking to Etho while catching ocelots
Joel logs in and Scar immediately asks if Etho wants to go visit him
We get so many Etho lore crumbs (although he doesn’t fully confirm anything except having stubble and trying to get rid of 2 extra house generators)
They hang out for like 2 hours doing nothing hut chatting
Eventually Scar leaves but forgot that he left his ocelots at Etho’s because he was so excited about boat boys that he never brought them home

In the heart of the Corroded faction, an enigmatic man, better known as the Wizard, releases his first radio broadcast to the world. We hope you’ll become a listener.
Broadcast #1 - Hello, Untitled - WZRD Verdigris Radio
This week’s song is “Talking in Your Sleep” by the Romantics
- / - / -
WZRD Verdigris Radio is written, produced, and edited by @theecryptiid.
The Wizard is voiced by Cass theecryptiid.

[Transcript below the cut]
Testing, testing, I hope you enjoyed that first broadcast from WZRD, Verdigris. With how quiet it’s been on this front for a while, I got a hankering for something new to do, so I thought, why not drop my hat into the ring for a good old radio broadcast station. I’ll update y’all on the news, the goings on of Verdigris, and whatever the hell else happens to go on these days.
Oh, and before I forget, if you’re out there listening’, and you want me to read an ad for your business or something, send me a letter through the post to this here station and I’ll make sure to read it on the air for you.
In server wide news, there’s been some new faces stepping out into the sunlight, some new folks from beyond the obsidian sea. Seems the Voidwalker’s brought us some new misfits and outcasts who are on the run from those who seek to wish us harm. If I’m honest, I’ve been so busy working to get this town up on its feet, I haven’t much had time to reflect on what happened in the past world, and our journey to get here. It’s been over six months now since that dreadful faceless beast ripped through our home…I just wish we’d all made it out. Let’s raise a glass to those we lost on the journey between, let’s try and remember them so that their return to the code will not be forgotten.
Sorry to get all emotional on you there. In Verdigris news, Verde Drug has been a hotbed of activity for the local shopping and tourist scene. We really have to thank our feline architect Joco for that one. If you’re interested in purchasing anything from moss to books to genuine antique guns to artisanal marijuana you’ve really got to get your keister down to Verde Drug, located conveniently downwind of the Verdigris portal station, which in itself is located at the very end of the Western line of the Nether Hub.
Speaking of the Nether Hub, if you haven’t had a chance yet, make sure to stop on by and write down your coordinates in the Nether Directory. It’ll make sure everyone knows where to find anything they need. And hey, if you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, feel free to wander around for a bit, I didn’t spend a whole month of work on that sucker for nothing. Oh, shoot, we still need an accessible way up to the Nether roof, I’ll have to make a note to do that some time this week.
The weather is, as it always is, sunny and clear skied here in beautiful Verdigris. Though the scales on the backs of my hands are cracked from how dry it is here, I can’t say I really miss the rain.
Well I won’t be keeping you much longer, back to the tunes, hand picked this week from one of my older collections.

I’m having many thoughts about the DSMP finale.
I don’t think anything like DSMP will ever happen again, if I’m being perfectly honest. Nothing is ever going to come close to just how MASSIVE it was, and how momentous it’s all felt. Like over 100k people were tuning in to watch MCRP lore at some points, which is INSANE. And like the insane amount of love put into it by (most of) the people on it, and the fans. The fanart, fansongs, recreations of the server, animatics, everything really! Stuff like Sad-Ist’s animations, Derivakat’s songs based off the characters and events, and like!!! So much more!!!! And the work of the CCs!!!!! Stuff like Quackity’s Las Nevadas streams or BadBoyHalo’s Eggpire streams with their INSANELY high quality productions, with the former even having it’s own music??? That’s INSANE!!
And like, despite EVERYTHING. The Dream situatuon, the slow and uneventful downfall of the server, the Nuke ending. I still LOVE this server, and don’t see myself leaving it’s fandom ANYTIME soon. and I’ll probably love it for the rest of my life. It’s literally changed my life for the better. Introduced me to so many lovely people I never would’ve seen otherwise, made me improve my writing and my art, and literally got me through SO MANY tough times in my life. And it introduced me to so many content creators I never would’ve gotten into in the first place. It’s done so much for me, and has done so much for so many other people, and I don’t think that can be overlooked, because I doubt something like that is ever going to happen again.
Farewell, DSMP. Your Unfinished Symphony finally draws to a close.

Q!PHIL SAYING, AND I QUOTE "It's nice having a lot of stuff" and things on the last vod, and also just being all weird about getting new stuff from *supposedly the federation* (cough ender king cough cough)
Combine this with how much he used to say he doesn't value material wealth and family always comes before anything. Heck, he even BURNS the feds money like 10 minutes ago before going right back into this weird new hoarding mode.
And the fact that his whole philosophy of not getting too attached to worldly possesions is something he kinda passed onto Tallulah and Chayanne, and THEY NOTICED HIS ODD BEHAVIOUR.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
LIKE. THEY KNOW!!! q!phil was able to pick up when something was off when the codes were imitating them, and the kids know him Just As Well. They can tell somethings up and i'm SADD
Because it was q!phil who was sad that Chayanne and Tallulah were thrown into battle and not able to just enjoy themselves. So what do they do when it's their own parent who's now needing saved. Their rock. The constant support in their life. I'm SO scared that this is going to result in a fight or something between them.
Edit: LOOK AT THIS CLIP. WATCH THIS. TALLULAH KNOWS!!!

I feel like there is so much missed potential in this fandom when it comes to Jimmy's part in EVO.
Like yeah, Grian constantly pissed off the watchers by being too greedy and taking more than he should, and we all know it was Grian who was taken by the watchers after the ender dragon fight and made into one of them.
And we know that in the Life series, Martyn's character is spoken to and told to do various things for the Watchers and saved by the Listeners.
And Jimmy has some kind of Canary Curse that causes him to die first every time.
But, there is a lot more to this that people don't use simply because they haven't seen Jimmy's Evo series.
Most of my headcanon ideas are after my little recap of all the listener moments from Evo and you can skip to that, but if you have never seen Evo or never watched past Grian's POV it is pretty interesting and I think I summed it up pretty well.
----start of very long Evo Recap----
Back in Evo, the Watchers never really liked Jimmy or at points Martyn. This is seen when they get gifts from them representing the Watchers' opinions. Jimmy gets one of the worst ones (a chest with some gold and saplings, likely meaning 'room for growth') matched only by Grian's (a chest of coal with one diamond meaning 'diamond in the rough').
Martyn is shown to be disliked when later on he declares himself mayor due to Taurtis having left, his and Jimmy's Property Police station gets a meteor sent through it by the watchers.
In Jimmy's episode 75 he and Martyn follow a strange noise underneath their destroyed station. They find the listener symbol in bedrock and signs reading 'There are some who watch, we are those who listen. Heed our melody, and await your first mission. Tell nobody." This is the first time we hear about the Listeners and we don't see anything about them again until Jimmy's episode 98.
They had just defeated the ender dragon and had been told the news that "10 will become 9" and that they were taking Grian. In the end credits when they were told this, multiple members were mentioned by name for various things they had done, all except Jimmy.
In Jimmy's episode he spawns in alone. The spawn is destroyed and grown over and in front of him is the Listeners symbol. He finds a book in a chest simply titled "your mission" and 9 enderchests.
The book reads: "there are some who watch, we are those who listen. It is finally time for your first mission. Dragged forwards through time, your spawn old and rotten. Even in the end credits, your name was forgotten. Cruel are the Watchers who think they know best. For us please deliver each player a chest. SHhhh...."
He goes on to do as they ask,  one ender chest in each player's base. He is never told what these chests are for. Later the rest of Evo spawns in thousands of blocks away at the new spawn, they make their way back and find the Listener's symbol Jimmy had found is now a Watchers symbol.
The books titled "the future" read: "Our meeting was short and your victory grand, now 10 become 9 and you must leave this land. Our reasons are just, though you won't understand. Your actions have caused this, accidental or planned. Tread now to your homes, carry only what you can. Anymore will be drowned on and the sentence, a ban. We The Watchers Have Spoken."
They find the chests Jimmy had left them and inside is a note from the Listeners labeled "Greetings": "There are some who watch, we are those who listen, and we do not agree with their most recent decisions. 'Carry only what you can', what you deem best, We grant you more space by making use of this chest. SHHhhh....."
Later Jimmy finds signs from Martyn telling him what's going on and where to go. Jimmy shows caution and distrust towards the Watchers but follows all the same.
They set up everything at the new spawn, but in Jimmy's episode 112, he noticed an odd musical ticking sound beneath spawn. He goes around to everyone's base to leave them a sign asking what it is to make sure they know about it. They all gather at spawn and find that it was the Listeners who did it.
Under spawn they find a book titled "Freedom" by the Listeners. It reads: "There are some who watch, we are those who listen, if you flee you'll be free and complete your recission. Single versions are slow, new adventures in store, come with us and we'll give you lots more to explore. Make haste through this maze as a portal awaits, make the choice quick and take control of your fates. SHHhhh...."
They make their way through the maze and eventually find the last portal. They all get ready to make the jump for the last time, and go through the portal. For most this is the end of Evo (Jimmy, Pearl, and Netty do Christmas specials but those are only 2 episodes) meaning that this portal was really some kind of escape.
----end of very long Evo Recap----
This means that not only had the Watchers always had a dislike for Jimmy, but the Listener always had an interest in him and Martyn.
There is also the fact that Jimmy was the one the Listeners chose to deliver the enderchests. Bringing him to the original spawn under the Watcher's nose for this task, giving out something that will later help get around the Watcher's decision. And the fact that he was the one to first notice the strange sound at spawn and then go and warn the others? or at least inform them of this allowing them all to eventually find their escape?
It seems to me like Jimmy had long ago gotten a target painted on his back by the Watchers. With everything from
 1) going against them
2) working for the listeners
3) influencing others to go with him
4) they just generally didn't even like him beforehand.
By the time everyone escaped Evo it's a fair assumption that Jimmy is probably at the top of their list of problems.
So, when they make a new experiment with the death games and they have him there? Well, they can't have him staying around long enough to start figuring things out and influencing people, now can they.
And speaking of warning others, he seemed to be so intent on warning the other Evolutionists against the Watchers. What would be a better punishment for going against them, for being one of the main catalyst in it all, then to be cursed to always be the warning. Cursed to always be the first to die, always gone before something big goes down, the Canary in the coalmine.  But no matter what his death warns of, there is no escape this time. The coalmine's entrance is sealed and no matter how long you last, soon everything inside will suffocate.
And maybe this feeds into Secret life where he mentions how the Secret keepers symbol looks familiar, or how he decides to team up with Martyn just like in Evo.
Maybe him surviving a little longer in the games and coming back after death as a guardian angel is a testament to how the listeners are stronger in this season. An apology/gift to their first chosen for everything their actions had put him through.
But that's probably just me making far fetched connections and reading too far into things. Could be cool though.
