19.10.23 Fahrradtour Meraner Talkessel

Auch heute haben wir das Objekt unserer morgendlichen Aktivität - den Aquagarden - - über den weitläufigen Tunnel erreicht.

Die 20 Bahnen sind wir inzwischen schon routiniert weggeschwommen und am Frühstücksbüffet fiel die Auswahl aufgrund der Vielzahl von Möglichkeiten wie jeden Morgen aufs neue schwer. Und auch wie jeden Morgen sind wir kugelrund gefuttert aufgestanden. Heute war die Futterei aber entschuldigt, wir brauchten jede Menge Energie für unsere geplante Radtour. Schließlich wollten wir 65 km und 900hm schaffen. Diese Tour haben wir uns gestern über den Ötzi-Bike-Acadamy-Katalog herausgesucht und dementsprechend wieder E-Bikes vorreserviert. Vom angekündigten Regen ließen wir uns nicht abhalten🤪.

Der erste Abschnitt führte von Naturns in Richtung Meran den Etschdammradweg entlang, an den Dörfern Plaus und Rabland vorbei über Töll mit der Etsch-Staustufe:

Über 7 Kehren ging es nun steil bergab nach Algund mit Fotostopp von „bequemen Holzstühlen“ aus.😅

Vorbei an einer alten Holzbrücke und der Brauerei „Forst“ in Meran ging es nun eigentlich stetig bergauf.

Brauerei „Forst“:

Am Schild „Vorsicht, steile Anstiege, nur für sportliche Radfahrer“ radelten wir ganz fix vorbei. Sollte die Sportlichkeit nicht reichen, schalten wir eben von Eco- auf Tour-, Sport- oder Turbomodus🤣

Langsam aber sicher fuhren wir höher und höher und erreichten bei Tisens den höchsten Punkt.

Wie man sieht, regnete es inzwischen und der Weitblick durch die Brillen war eingeschränkt 😅. Unsere gute Laune ließen wir uns aber durch das bisschen Wasser nicht verderben. Der Weg führte uns nun von Tisens weiter nach Prissian, von wo es in einer steilen Abfahrt (14% - die Scheibenbremsen glühten) bergab nach Nals ging. Auf dem weiteren Weg gab es einmal mehr zahlreiche Apfelplantagen und mehrere Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Eigentlich wollten wir an der Jausenstation „Kati“ anhalten aber irgendwer hatte den Namen falsch geschrieben, so fuhren wir weiter nach Lana😂
