I will populate the internet with MySims fanfic. Specifically for characters of the DS games BECAUSE APPARENTLY MANY DS CHARACTERS DON’T EXIST IN THE MYSIMS WORLD OUTSIDE OF THEIR OWN GAME???? HUH???

I played MySims SkyHeroes, Kingdom, and Agents on the DS. My fave character (as an edgy 12 year old) was Violet Nightshade (makes sense bc I was so into goth fashion when I was young– still am btw). Now? It’s been a while since I’ve played, but maybe Proto Makoto and TOBOR?

Hello... again, Criticals!

Sorry for the advertising, but since I'm a small artist, I would love if yall at least check this out:

Whether you know or not, I'm working on a novel, started since half a year (6 months) as I was focusing on characters. I (and very likely, You) are upset/mad at the lost potential in HH or HB and seeing Viv spiral into being a worse version of herself.

So, why not... fix it? That's what I thought after scrolling the critical tags. I ended up writing and designing my new fiction. It's called "Damned and Scarred" or DS/DaS for short.

I want yall to comment on it and give me constructive criticism! I always wanted to create something that others enjoy since I was 6, People enjoying my art, lores, characters, it's a dream! I tend to do art for fun of it myself, but others enjoying it gives me joy.

I've only played the Nintendo DS version but even if its missing some ailens it's still so good. I was obsessed with it as a small child. It was my shit.

This game is also super awesome. I love the hello kitty franchise. Anything Sanrio is the best gift you can give me. It's so amazing to me. It truly brings out the capitalist in me. I also need this to make a come back. It's in the same category as Animal Crossing. Please, I know we can do this.

Question for long time Final Fantasy fans if I have any among my followers, ( and I mean long time, like you were playing since SNES, if you started on like PS3/4 then i'm not asking you ), this question comes from the perspective of an outsider who's only really completed the first Final Fantasy game and the GBA port of the 2nd one, gotten pretty far in the DS version of 3, and just a little ways into 4 and 6 on SNES... I dabbled in 9 and don't know how far I am, but I got bored with how linear it was. And I didn't make it out of Midgar in 7, I'd like to give all of these games another shot eventually, as they come up...

My question is... are yall okay with what's become of the series? Like, I'm such an outsider only familiar with the very earliest games and only like surface level. All of my friends who liked Final Fantasy when I was a kid are either gone or they don't really play FF anymore. And I'm looking at more recent games in the series and like... they're riding around in real-ass cars talking on cel phones, wearing nike tennis shoes, jeans, and a sweat shirt, and one of the protagonists looks like every american action movie protagonist ever with his shaved head and stubbly face, looks more like he should be in a FPS than a JRPG... also seems to lean more toward action game than RPG.

Like is this direction widely appreciated by long time Final Fantasy fans or is it kind of met with a lot of disappointment, and only people who started playing video games in the last fifteen years like it? I'm curious to take the temperature of long time FF fans about the state of the series.

OKAY THIS IS WHERE THE EMBARRASSMENT COMES IN, WHEN IT COMES TO MAIN GAMES I'VE LITERALLY ONLY BEAT THE DS PORT OF RE1 MYSELF 😭 I've watched my sibling play a lot of them tho and read files/watch cutscenes, so I'm familiar enough with the series overall to say that both versions of RE4 are my favorites. Watching Leon be silly when my sibling played the original in 2020 was my first Exposure to RE, but I didn't get Invested until I saw Luis be gay in the remake and went completely insane and dove into the lore and pirated RE1 on my 3DS lmao.

ALFRED ASHFORD. I've heard the twins are both kinda different in DSC compared to the original and it's a downgrade, but idk I loved them in it. 999 spoilers below the cut yall know what the fuck is going on

The ending of 999 strongly implies that Seven was fully in on Akane and Aoi's plan and may have been assisting them in their goal [this sequence is abridged in this post so I don't hit the image limit, but it has all of the relevant parts]:

Junpei's thoughts are cut short here, but it's pretty easy to assume that he realized that Seven may have been lying about his memory loss to ensure that he wouldn't be forced to show his hand too early.

Well, there's also this to lend some credence to this theory:

Junpei has to prod Seven for this response, to which he gets a sort of canned reply. It's a little thing, but it stands out, and the original DS version even calls attention to it:

There was a moment of silence, and then everyone spoke at once. "Yeah, I saw him too!" "Me too!" "He was wearing a gas mask..."

As stories were sorted out, the truth became clear: All of their stories were the same. They had been abducted at home, at midnight. The person claiming to be Zero had worn a mask. There had been white smoke, and then each person had passed out. When they awoke, they had found themselves on D Deck, in a room with a 3-level bunk bed. Only Seven's story seemed to lack the detail of the others.

Seven: Oh... Me...?

Seven: Yeah, well, mine was just like the rest'a yours...

That was all he had said. It had occurred to Junpei at the time that it sounded somewhat strange, but he didn't press the issue.

There's some other interestng bits of info in this part (like Ace describing the room he woke up in as a "cell" - you can interpret that as hyperbole, his guilty subconscious coming through, or literal) but that jumped out to me earlier when I was going through that segment again.

The God Of Destruction headcanon

I'm gonna be honest. I have no clue how THE FRICK this got spread around. Maybe it was people trying to make dreamswap into essentially a different version of UTMV, I have no clue. It probably comes from his relationship with Error. But- The amount of people who don't even bother to try to learn his character, and just rely on fake headcanons has a LOT to do with it.

The "He Meant To Abuse Error, And Did It Physically" Mindset

Blue's morals are very controversial, similarly to Canon!Og!Ink. Although, he didn't necessarily mean to hurt Error, he definitely did. In fact, the only reason Error has his strings is because Blue pushed his haphephobia too hard in the hopes of "helping" him. That was the only time he ever layed a harmful hand on Error. But that's the thing. He wanted to help. The only reason Error is glitched is, again, because Blue messed up when trying to "help" Error. And yes, while his methods were what I would consider toxic, he never once meant to hurt Error.

The Psychopathic, Violence-Obsessed Blue

Just. Just no. WHERE DID YALL GET THIS IDEA??? He was literally abused by his papyrus, and this gave him a HUGE tendency to avoid violence. Gore can make him physically sick. Yall got it messed up.

hey hey hey i made a mpdsap iceberg a little while back and i thought it would be fun to yell into the void about it, because why not. i havent explained the lore to my followers yet and ill probably reblog this to my main tbh

[little disclaimer that a lot of these are based off of made up lore and ocs on my main account. if youre strictly canon only then i wouldnt recommend this for you. if you’re interested but have no knowledge about said lore, i will give basic explanations]

LAYER 1

Joey Perleoni: joey perleoni is well known as the poster of the anti-piracy videos, who, recently, has involved himself more in the videos. joey in my lore is depicted as mostly emotionless or “empty” with no remorse for his actions.

Mario Party DS Anti-Piracy OST: on the channel, there is pretty convincing fake music for the series, there’s not much else to say about it other than it’s SUPER bangin’

Joey was arrested: in a video titled ‘the police are at my house’, joey is taken in by the police. he is presumably in prison

Luigi is the victim: in all of the videos posted, luigi is the main character, and is often considered the victim of the horrible events happening.

Hex code translations: in the videos, there are several hex codes, which can be translated to several different things. the ones we’ve found are hellsatan, luigimod, thx4luv, watchdemon.jit etc.

Reggie Fils-Amie video: on joey’s channel, his first upload has nothing to do with mpdsap, but rather it’s a video filming a joke reggie made about mother 3. it’s unknown if this is connected or not.

LAYER 2

Luxury station and Quiznos: luxury station is joey’s second account, revolving a few strange videos about a place named quiznos. it’s unknown if this is connected or not

Hudson (the man): in my lore, there is a character named hudson, who inherited the company. he’s considered the person who made the anti-piracy screens, or at least encouraged it strongly. this character is based off of some text in host hoedown, which translates to “hudson - this is not necessary. it will extend the launch considerably.” (also i know hudson is the name of the company but the time i found out it was too late)

“Joey no longer runs the account” theory: there was a theory going around after joey’s arrest that someone else is running the account, since there should be no way he should keep posting. this is probably deconfirmed by now

Joey doesn’t feel much emotion: as stated before, my depiction of joey is that of “mostly emotionless or completely empty”. there is no reason for this currently (it’s kind of a case study at this point tbfh)

DJ Hallyboo is based on MC Ballyhoo: in mario party 8 for the wii, there is a character that bears extreme resemblance to DJ Hallyboo, named MC Ballyhoo. they have the same voice clips used, similar names, and somewhat similar designs. MC Ballyhoo is the host of mario party 8. it is general considered that DJ Hallyboo is a beta version of MC Ballyhoo by fans.

LAYER 3

Electric chair: in the video simply titled “mario party ds anti piracy |”, where joey sits on a chair and boots up mario party ds, a few comments were floating around joking about him getting the electric chair. this hasn’t been confirmed

Hudson and Joey used to be friends: this is mostly outdated now, but there was a joke timeline where hudson and joey were friends in the past. not gonna cover it any further than that because it’s an old concept now

MC Ballyhoo and DJ Hallyboo are the same person: in my lore, the general consensus is that MC Ballyhoo and DJ Hallyboo are the same person, with split personalities. he is also either sentient or extremely aware.

Joey is god: in my lore, there is a mostly bizzare idea that joey is divine and has always been divine. he became “a god” by doing criminal acts, or sacrificing luigi. i can’t tell you if this is canon to my lore or not yet though - it started as a meme, but i really do like the idea somehow.

“Waiter, your finger’s in the soup!”: a mysterious quote with no real meaning that was quoted by joey a couple of times. it is connected to a short comic. nobody has found out what it means yet or why it’s being posted about.

LAYER 4

“Joey does drugs” joke: (TW // DRUG ABUSE)

this joke spawned from something i learned in school. apparently people who abuse illegal drugs gradually start feeling less dopamine doing normal activities over time, due to drug overstimulation. this was jokingly connected to joey’s chronic emptiness and inability to feel anything, with the joke that he does meth or some other illegal drug. it’s also noted that drug abusers are likely to commit other crimes. this is of course, not serious at all.

Joey stole MPDS from mcdonalds: this is a personal theory of mine. mcdonalds and MPDS have absolutely no connection - so why are they attempted to be connected at all? in the video, it describes a demo being sold in happy meals at mcdonalds - it’s a possibility that joey stole the demo from mcdonalds, and doesn’t actually have the full game.

Joey wearing the same clothes as the character: i have drawn joey with a yellow sweater (with orange sleeves) and grey shorts for a while now. in the mcdonalds video, he was wearing nearly the same outfit (with the exception of the shorts being pants). he also has brown hair, which i predicted, but it’s much darker. this is probably a coincidence but it’s pretty freaky honestly.

Techwalker: this will probably be the longest segment in the iceberg and the most lore heavy. techwalker was joey’s old channel. he made extremely different content - mainly of which was just bothering random people on the street and at conventions. he has described himself as a “journalist”, but this is all basically fun and games. these videos are now unlisted and i will not be linking them nor telling you where to find them for privacy reasons. i don’t want to get in trouble. if i find any of yall spreading it around im taking down the post and will probably not talk about this again, you dont want that, i dont want that, nobody wants that really.

in the lore, techwalker is not joey. they are 2 seperate people - but they live in the same body. what this means is that either one can take control at a time - joey is completely numb to everything around him, but tech is a pretty happy go lucky and social person. they have different personalities, morals, names and lead different lives. tech even wears glasses (assuming he has some kind of impaired eyesight), and joey does not.

(this has been confused with dissociative identity disorder. while i don’t mind people interpreting my content in whatever way they’d like, considering this is just fan-lore, this was not the intent. i do not have DID and i don’t want to speak for anyone who has DID.)

the general consensus is that tech is dead, or at least completely drowned out, and joey has taken complete control. joey and tech were practically mortal enemies and polar opposites of each other. (joey constantly being annoyed or uninterested in tech’s hyperactivity, and tech not trusting joey to be responsible or ‘law abiding’)

too 10 zelda games and why?

an ask? sick!! ok top 10 zelda games with reason coming up! (why cant i tag asks??)

1: skyward sword (duh)- Everything about this game is amazing, the soundtrack, the Npcs that feel like people, the puzzles, the controls, just everything! The storyline was linear, but really worth it! This might seem unpopular, but i also loved fi, from her aesthetic to her theme, hell i didnt mind her tips, no matter how many times i play through the game! People say they dont like having to fight the imprisoned/ghirahim 3 times. I loved the ghirahim fights and didnt mind doing it 3 times. And while the imprisoned was annoying, it was there because of plot consistency. The old woman says that too much power will draw it out, and if that didnt happen every time yall would be complaining about plot consistency. Skyward sword also had some of my favorite characters: Ghirahim and this version of Zelda!

2: Spirit tracks (wii u virtual console): this was my first Zelda game, I used to play it at family events with my cousin on his ds because social anxiety. You might think that i have it so high for nostalgia, and while that was the case for a while, i recently got the virtual console version, and played though it twice (you know when you do something recently it loses its nostalgia?) the soundtrack was great, i loved anjean, and zelda in that game was incredible. Taking the form of a phantom to help you, literally all of zeldas and links interactions were adorable. People said hey didnt like the touch controls and while they did take some getting used to, i adjusted kinda quickly, and when i played phantom hourglass afterwards, i kept dying cause the rolls were different.

3: Ocarina of time (3D): yes i didnt have an N64, fight me. Oot is a fan favorite, and for good reasons. It basically invented the zelda formula (if i have my release dates straight?) not counting alltp. Shiek is one of my favorite characters in anything ever, and admittedly, i did get a little sad when navi left. The soundtrack is good, but short when compared to other zelda games (that and it keeps getting taken off of youtube gdi!) again, ive never had an n64, so idk what the water temple was like back then, (i know about the iron boots gear screen) but from some of my cousins reactions, it seems to be a LOT better in the 3ds version

4: A link Between worlds: This is a really solid entry in the zelda series. Its got just enough difficulty that i dont remember literally everything, but easy enough that i can listen to something like TAZ while playing and understand whats happening in both. Ravio is a good character, though i wish you could steal for him. The items system was really cool, but i like that feeling of “whatre ya gonna get in this temple” that most zelda games have.

5. Minish cap (virtual console wii u): the minish cap is an all around pretty game. The graphics are just beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing, specially minish woods! And its got another of my fave characters, Vaati! Ezlo was also a great character, and sure the kinstones are annoying if youre tyring to 100% the game as are the figures, so this is why we dont 100% things! /s

6. Majoras Mask (3D): Disclaimer: i havent finished this, i was in ikana when my sister lost our copy of the game. But i know the story. MM is a game with only 4 dungeons, so it would seem short right? No, because of the 3 day system it takes longer than expected and wants you to plan out what youre doing. It had a lot of memorable sidequests and the masks were really fun as well. The soundtrack takes those OOT sounds and creates a whole new feel and its a heckin good time!

7. Twilight princess (wii): another game i havent finished! This time because spider scary, and im worried about encountering another one. Midna is super awesome, as is the wolf form and twilight sections, but on the wii, the controls are… awful. Anyone who complains about skyward swords motion controls has obviously never played this version of the game. Zant was cool, but then he was immediately overshadowed by ganondorf with little explanation. At least in Skyward sword ghirahim makes it clear that all he wants is demises resurrection. 

8. Wind waker (HD): for a lot of people this is their favorite, but idk it just never really clicked with me. Maybe its because i saved in the wind temple and Makar vanished so i had to reset my game? The soundtrack was good, but not really my fave, and i didnt like the king of red lions all that much. But other than that, it was a pretty solid game, just not one of my faves.

9. Phantom hourglass (wii u virtual console): after i beat spirit tracks i just HAD to play phantom hourglass, and i gotta say, i was pretty disappointed… the temple of the ocean king was like the tower of spirits, but the time limit. Oh the time limit. Also they fucking nerfed tetra in this game cmon! Ceilia made navi nosies, which i found funny for some reason. Honestly, the only saving grace is linebeck. his theme is amazing, he did grow on me, and the final boss fight against him was *chefs kiss*

10: Botw (both wii u and switch): yeah i just dont really like botw all that much. Half of the soundtrack is pretty decent, but the other half is * 5 piano notes* “what you want MORE???” I didn’t like botw Zelda. At all. At best she was quirky and kinda annoying, and at worst she made me wanna slam my head into the wall. I also didnt care about the champions, no matter how much the game wanted me to. The divine beasts were pretty bad, and the shrines were just kinda tiresome. The graphics were pretty cool (THANK GOD THERE WERE NO SPIDERS) i mean its a cool game, just not a cool zelda game, ya know? Also this is the only game thats made my wii u crash. And it wasnt just one time. Do with that what you will
