Come on, you can't expect me to be silent on this matter. You can't expect me to stand by while my beautiful wife appears before me like this. Teresa Lisbon, I am smooching you.

Anyway, this is not an analysis post. This is an appreciation post. I am taking in all angles and looking respectfully. We've never seen Lisbon in a dress before now and frankly, in my opinion, this is one of the best ones she'll wear in the whole show. I like her wedding dress a lot but something about this slinky black number just gets me.

Some lovely details include the gold dangle earrings, matching bangle, the clutch seen momentarily as she enters the building with Cho, and the barely-glimpsed heels as she walks through the jewelry store.

She has swept her bangs to the side, loosely waved her hair like an old-timey movie star, and is wearing a sultry eye with a nude lip (a timeless combo). I just love how her hair drapes over her bare shoulders.

In the low light, it's hard to see much of the dress, but it looks to be silk or satin. It might even be a midnight blue instead of black. The empire waist gathers just under the bust to flow gently over her hips and down to the floor, while the strapless bodice is ruched or pleated (correct term eludes me).

She looks like elegance personified. I scanned a few of the other gowns in the crowd and quite a few of them looked like rental prom dresses (they're extras, I get it)...so proud of my wife for outshining everyone in the room <3

I'm done for once she puts the leather jacket on top. Stevie Nicks starts playing in my mind. If I were Jane I would also be compelled to put a tiara on her because she is the queen of my heart.

zhongli is big spoon 95% of the time, but on the rare 5% where i get to coddle him i will suddenly have no work and urgent responsibilities. no regrets 🤞🏻

when he has a day off but i don’t, i go to work with him in his littol dragon form wrapped around my neck. makes a very warm scarf if i do say so myself.

zhongli is always, always there whenever i have to take off my glasses for some reason, because he knows i’m blind as a bat without them. the first time this happened, i was waving my hand around trying to make sure i don’t bump to any glass panels and stuff - he completely misunderstood and thought i wanted to hold hands, so he gently linked our fingers together. and we just. stared at each other.

tldr; since then, whenever i’m missing my glasses he would automatically guide my hand to grab onto his arm.

whenever we eat, if i forget to bring my hairclips/scrunchies, zhongli lends me his hairclip. this is a secret but i purposefully forget them sometimes because the sight of this man with his hair down? and the way he elegantly eats despite the inconvenience? it’s a sight to behold.

at first, i was constantly hissing and snarling at childe for threatening the very thing zhongli treasures most… but after what has been said and done, we slowly began to get along, and now zhongli has to deal with the headache of a fatui harbinger enabling me and my chaotic tendencies. welp.

“dear, why are there bags of catnips on our doorstep? they seem to have been sent by…. the northland bank?” “oh, don’t you mind that! aaaanyway, mind transforming into your dragon form? i want to test something~”

on the rare occasion when zhongli isn’t home and i’m too sleepy to wait for him, i would take out the humongous rex lapis dragon plushie from the closet to cuddle and surround myself with the smaller version of them so i can fall asleep. but they always mysteriously return back to the closet when morning rolls around, and i find myself cuddling the real rex lapis himself. hmm. how curious 🤔

zhongli always scolds me for being too lazy to make the bed in the morning.

on the other hand, i always nag him for buying too many tea leaves. his collection is starting to flood into my coffee cabinet and it is driving me nuts.

he gives me forehead and hand kisses, i give him jaw (if he refuses to lean down) and nose (when i catch him leaning down) kisses. it’s a fair exchange!

he might be the dragon but i’m the one getting more head pats, chin scratches, and back scratches on average (he jokingly asks me from time to time if i’m secretly a dog and i always answer him with an uncanny bark that could pass for a real dog).

doing haircare for zhongli is a normal evening routine for me. i’m clumsy with my hands but he will keep the braid until morning comes (where it inevitably loosens - and he always looks a little sad about it), no matter how messy it looks. in exchange, he helps me with drying my thick mane of a hair because he knows my arms would always get sore if i try to dry them by myself.

zhongli knows about my terrible social anxiety when it comes to strangers, so he takes the lead in almost every social interaction involving those i’m not close with. but when it comes to people i’m comfortable with? he just sits back and watches as i gush and zoom around like an overexcited pomeranian.

man knows his voice turns me into a puddle and will resort to using it to get me to stop procrastinating. it works a little too well.

zhongli will always come for me to help with any technology he’s having trouble with. 98% of the time i will help him but there are just some times when i just. don’t.

since i work from home and my schedule is pretty lax, i do most of the chores and would visit his office from time to time, bringing lunches and snacks and coffee. the security guards and receptionists are my best friends at this point.

candlelit dinners are a must at least once a week. zhongli gets two glasses of wine (since it’s most probably a course meal set) while i order something lame like a virgin mojito - either way, he always always makes sure i don’t have to drink alcohol because 1) he knows i loathe the taste of it, and 2) he doesn’t want the date to end early because i fell asleep onto my food (happened once at the beginning of our relationship, never again)

he has absolutely zero ideas about video games and coding but will always listen to me fangirling about the latest installment of the series or the little side project i’m working on. additionally, i have zero ideas about stonks and business managements but i will always listen whenever he muses and brainstorms about it out loud over his morning/evening tea.

zhongli took a video of me talking to my "duck" (which is a hedgehog) one time while i was working and could not understand why i got so embarrassed and angry.

honestly, it's a miracle that we were able to meet and know each other with the way our husbands are insistent on keeping us from exploring the 'bad' world outside. zhongli probably saw how lonely i get whenever he has to be out of the house and thought he'd give me one reprieve: penpals. and who else could be a better candidate than the ms. ragnvindr who lives far, far away in mondstadt, who is apparently just as lonely and whose husband is frantically trying to look for every way possible to make her happy and yet selfishly unable to give the thing she desires most: freedom?

I was doodling something for myself and suddenly i realized i wanna talk.

(doodle might not make any sense shh lets ignore it djjdjdjjd)

I wanna talk about Rhea's in general, the Rhea curse that i never explained and the Night's life during Hogwarts years.

Maybe i will do it in parts, to not make anyone bored while reading it. Lets focus on basic info about Rhea's for now.

Ah im bit nervous. İ have never been good to explain things you know. But we are here having tea, yes i actually do have with me, so i wanna relax a bit. Talking about my oc should be fun right?

Tho the reason for my nervous state is actually me not have been in the fandom for a while. Because of, you know, real life. İt was tough, nothing to worry about tho, but still i feel like i missed so much about the mc's and the creators i love. More than missing it, the guilt that i havent been supporting my fandom friends, and maybe not knowing if there are people i might make uncomfortable by reaching them. (Fandom dramas was weird) That guilt made me stay even more away. But i missed terribly to be there just simping over silly things.

So i dont wanna overthink, i just wanna share Night's story that i have been kinda proud of having it. Thanks for joining me here today~

Maybe because its Eid im emotional today, alright time to get started!

İ created an image for Night, as i claim its fifth year Night. The Night who is loud as fuk, run and fly around in castle, messes up with Merula's hair in both human and hawk form, overexcited about having chocolate, cant sit still without annoying Cordell on daily basis, greets everyone with a big smile but still shy to actually talk, makes you wonder how someone can be even more loud when they are on Quidditch pitch.

The Night you know i assume, also hope the one you love.

Even though i dont really talk about Cordell, he is very important part of Night's life. Seriously how much i actually did talk about him?

Did you know he doesnt have coffee tolerance? Like one cup of coffee and he will be up all night. Did you know his favorite color is actually brown but he doesnt actually own anything with that color? Did you know despite not accepting it out loud he see himself as big brother to Night and this is why he is always so annoyed by them?

*sigh* To understand Night and Cordell's teenager years we must know about the house they grow up. We must know what kind of family was Rhea's.

Their home was rather b i g, having all the Rhea families in it. Night like to call it a Castle. Stone cold, unnececcarily big and unnececcarily important to family members. There is something off about that 'castle' to make every elder to want to own it. Night and Cordell doesnt know it yet.

They will learn.

Here let me show you the family tree to make it bit easier. Dont worry you dont need to remember everyone.

This is how big Rhea's were actually. As you can see there were even in family marriages, thankfully with new generations it didnt happen again.

Jocelyn married into another family, Weston married with a man who his family didnt wanted and even adopted three kid. These twos own family doesnt count as Rhea's anymore,unfortunatelly.

Back then before the first big war with Voldemort, everything was more simple in Rhea household. Night and Yakup's dad Matthew (yes another mc dad name...) was the head of the house. Yakup, Night, their mother Seline and Matthew was staying in the center of the castle.

At their right, there was Cordell and his family. He, his mother Esther Black, his father Jonathan (he is someone who you will need to remember later) and.. His big sister Clara. Yes i will talk about her in a while.

At their left there was Jonathan and Matthew (the Rhea brothers) cousin Zachary's family. He was married with someone from Rosier family, Teresa Rozier and they had three kids named Belinda Healy and Daniel.

Even if the castle was not the liveliest place, the kids didnt stop being kids of course. The laughs of Yakup, Night and their cousins were the probably only things make the building look like a real house.

Rhea's were Death Eaters. This is no secret. So what happened to them after war?

İ hope this is easy to understand

So as you can see they are no longer a big family. Now in that big castle there is only grandmother Lydia;Cordell and his father Jonathan; Night, Yakup and their mother Seline lives. Zachary's son Daniel was sent to France to relatives of his mother Teresa.

Just, basic info for today. There is maaany scandals i need to tell you about them but shhh not today.

I said Matthew (Night's father) is the head of the house. Why? Because he was the only one who was born as Legilimens AND was able to master Occlumency. Here another chart of Rhea's but this time with their abilities

Yakup being just like his father made Matthew the one in power in family. 'But Jonathan has Clara who is also Legilimens. Why not them?'

Well..

Thats where the curse of Rhea's enters.

Grandmother Lydia liked very much to tell her grandchildren the story of first Rhea's. After all its about how their blood got blessed with knowledge of finding the truth, its the reason their family has much power in their hands now.

She says, humans didnt learn the art of reaching minds secrets. They gained it by blood.

She says, that form of art was unique to dragons. Unique to their blood.

She says it was a woman from Rhea's who is known to kill a dragon for the first time, in history. She was the first one who dared to drink dragons blood as well.

That woman is now known the creator of Legilimency.

Occlumency, in the other hand, was perfected by her husband.

What Grandmother Lydia didnt talk about was, how that first Legilimens died. How she and her oen mind seperated into two beings in one body.

And how this lack of control passed by blood since generations.

The Curse of Rhea's is, basically, what we can call as Alter Ego actually. One's mind holds onto one strong feeling, and makes it into something real. Turns it into something the one can hear can see but mostly can understand. Of course it has many effects on the ones life, but thats actually what it is.

Let me explain it with Clara. Because she is the last victim of that curse.

Clara is only two year older than Yakup. Since she is the oldest one between Rhea Brothers childrens, she grew up with so many expectation on her. She was expected to be perfect, in every way. And Clara, despite all the efforts she puts into making herself the perfect one, got never used to the feeling of being afraid of being wrong. Doing wrong. Saying wrong. Looking wrong. She was afraid. She was mostly afraid of her father. So, so afraid that it was enough for her mind to turn her fears into something real.

Her curse, was in form of butterflies. Purple, little butterflies.

Clara would scream whenever she sees one, Cordell was never succesfull about making her believe there is no butterflies in room.

She would never wear any of her clothes if she sees any butterfly touch it.

She was talking about how loud these butterflies were. They always knew when Clara was going fail. They always knew how Clara was going to fail. They always knew who Clara was going to fail.

Cordell never understand where are his sisters butterflies. And why she hates them. And why she keeps them if she hates them that much.

İt was middle of night when the worst of it happened. Cordell's room was closest to hers, so he was the first one who woke up to her screams. He rushed to her room.

He was only six, when he saw his sister holding her head between her hands.

He was only six, when she pushed him away so hard that he fell from the bed he climbed to comfort her.

He was only six, when she fell top of him, her hands on his neck, her eyes glowing purple.

He was only six, when she screamed on his face that she hates 'her' . That she wanted 'her' gone. That she is gonna make sure 'she' is gone.

Suddenly she just left his neck, stood up, picked up her wand.

That was the first time Cordell saw the butterflies. They were everywhere. On everything in room, on Clara. There was so many butterflies on Clara. She couldnt even see now. She couldnt even breathe now. She could barely lift her wand, and Cordell didnt even hear the spell she whispered.

When the first light of flames shined on the tip of her wand, he run away from room.

Next morning, there wasnt any room behind that door. There was no one named Clara in Rhea family photos. And there was no sister Cordell remembered.

So what if Cordell hate the color of purple but doesnt know why? İt doesnt have to have any reason at all. What if Cordell is very sensitive about self harm? What if Cordell cant stand seeing butterflies? There is no need for a reason. Right?

(There will be only one person who is both alive and remembers Clara. İ cant wait to Cordell to figure out everything already)

Most importantly now you know something effected huge to Cordell's life. You know why Cordell can be overprotective of Night even if it only shows in form of he getting angry at Night about almost everything.

İn the next part i wanna talk about first three years of them in Hogwarts. And this include the cousins friendship with Rowan and Barnaby mostly! With Merula and Ben following of course~

Sharpe Rewatch 3- Sharpe's Company

haha i'm still not emotionally prepared for the next episode with teresa, and all these scenes of them just being simply happy together hurt. hhhh but at the same time, seeing sharpe all smiley and happy over having a lil baby girl ;u; i could cry

look at how happy he is!!!!

i never, ever get tired of the "soldier/officer doesn't realize who sharpe is or what his rank is" bit. it will always bring a lil emotional payoff of "hah you've underestimated my fave lil guy! you fool!"

and then... the entrance of obadiah, who is second on my list of "most hated characters ever". ah, but then there is harper clocking sharpe's reaction to him and keeping on eye on hakeswill. and keeping on eye on his officer.

now, i saw somewhere sometime someone call sharpe "shy" and i love that, i can see that every time he has to talk to a senior officer for more that .2 seconds now. but, oh, the way he suddenly gets quite proud and certain looking when talking about how his wife kills the french and how she's got this cool nickname. certified simp moment.

ah but i miss hogan. he had such Style about him, loved the way he handled sharpe too. like how harper described him- a murdering officer. he was always aiming to put sharpe to use, but that also meant he was looking for ways to give him a leg up, too. the rest of the episodes feel like there's a little void there where he should have been puttering around and being unhelpfully helpful.

scenes i wish they had: sharpe giving harper the gun. why was i robbed of this. i gotta use my imagination for the scene now what the fuck?

finally, I love how ride or die the chosen men are already by this point. something something cinematic parallels, comparing when they were watching everyone being slaughtered in the first episode, to here where they gather behind sharpe and watch the failed storming. knowing this time, they're going to run in there towards death, and they all know nothing would stop them from following sharpe.

*asks you about The Mentalist because I've meant to watch for years but never got around to it*

I got a bunch of asks about my shows thank y’all so much for letting me vent

the mentalist follows a team of murder investigators in the cbi, the california bureau of investigation

let’s go through the characters:

patrick jane

the mentalist. grew up as a carnie in the circus as a (fake) boy psychic wonder. basically, he’s just really smart and good at analyzing things so he got away seamlessly pretending to be a psychic. at one point he became pretty famous and was getting rich from it.

everything came to a head when he went on tv arrogantly talking about this serial killer, red john. he did the whole psychic bit analyzing the killer, then went home to see that his wife and daughter had been murdered by red john because of it.

there’s a backstory episode about it, but basically he ends up joining the cbi as a civilian consultant helping them solve murders (with the motive to eventually hunt down and kill red john). the show takes place a couple years after he joined the team.

he’s very good with people and charismatic, and a total chaos gremlin. he always goes off and causes some trouble on investigations but because of it his team closes every single case they have. he’s been described by multiple people as the smartest man they’ve ever known.

he’s VERY adamant that there is no such thing as psychics. after all, pretending to be one got his family killed.

he also makes himself tea at almost every crime scene because he’s just Like That™

I’m barely into men but I am head over heels for patrick jane and that’s a fact

teresa lisbon

grew up in chicago as the eldest child with three younger brothers. had to take over being the parent after her mother died and father gave up being there for them (I think he was an alcoholic???). she was very strict with them, which causes friction in a couple episodes when her siblings are involved

she’s the head agent in their cbi team, and for all intensive purposes, jane’s partner. she is logical and wants to follow the rules (and supposed to “keep jane under control”) but accepts his hijinks as necessary in order to solve the murders. she just wishes he’d tell her what the fuck he’s doing so she can do damage control at the very least.

she’s totally the team mom. she loves and cares for her three children teammates.

team newbie. great with tech. starts out as optimistic and bright-eyed but adapts to the harsh world they live in. very compassionate and kind.

a simp for van pelt. legit puppy eyes for her. fell in love with her day one.

NEEDS to know how jane does his tricks. like, he will go insane trying to figure out how he does his coin tricks

kimball cho

was in a gang when he was a kid before joining the military. kinda stoic but also SUPER witty/sarcastic. bitch queen. “that’s impressive. the best I can get with one call is a pizza”

lets jane do whatever the fuck he wants because he gets things done but also secretly thrives on his chaos

other important/notable things:

your ships are definitely endgame

I can’t think of any storyline that was handled badly

every episode is decent if not really good

the red john aspect actually keeps you on the edge of your seat. every time you think it might be X, all of a sudden Y looks like the better candidate and so on, etc

the openings/beginnings are usually funny

example a: jane messing with a sheriff playing rock paper scissors

example b: “I don’t have to run faster than a tiger. I just have to run faster than you” *sprints*

example c: “I’ll bet you... 35 cents”

tws:

there is blood and gore, but it’s a show about investigating murders so I feel like that’s warranted

there IS one kinda slightly major character death towards the end of the final season. (note: NOT any of these main five!!!) I don’t think it was fair even though the person playing the role said they were brought on knowing they were going to die but it still majorly sucked. I cried. HOWEVER, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t watch it. yeah, it sucked and I wish they didn’t do that but I love the show too much to hate it for that

- Minho would have so many questions about your piercing which of coures you would not be able to answer (lol memory loss is a bitch).

- Minho would ask the typical things like wow did those hurt?, How did you get them?, Are they like a part of your body? or Did Chuck draw on u?

- Minho just thinks you look really cool and naturally wants to do more.

- Newt would try his best not to stare at them to much, he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable.

- Newt would be so careful as he would hate to bump them.

- Newt would also ask the occasional questions but he doesn't wanna dig to much into it.

- He still 100% support your style, he likes the bold statement you bring.

- He can see you surviving the maze, he knows how stupid that assumption is but he just can't help it.

- Newt personally wouldn't good for the piercing but a small tatt representing your love is all he needs.

- Newt would 100% defend you if any of the gladers where to ever bully you or make you feel uncomfortable with there questions or complements.

- Newt also adores all the cute jewelry you put on, he just appreciates how much you've gone through to enhance your beauty.

- Buts its no difference to him, he would still think your beautiful with or without tatts and piercings.

Thomas:

- Thomas was kinda scared if you at the start...you just gave him bad vibes

- But Thomas soon learn't how lit you actually are.

- Thomas and you would soon become insufferable.

- He can't get enough oh your wild personality and devlishly good looks.
