#selfie bee #good evening friends!! how are you doing! C:#I'm very very sleepy I got a new ikea office chair and I build it all myself #I think it went okay! I don't think I pulled the back screw tight enough and now the back is a bit loose #I can probably fix it but I can also ignore it for the next 18 years #thats how long the old chair held up!! in germany it could now drink vodka and drive a car!!#not at the same time that is illegal! not at the same time!! (❁´▽`❁)*✲ﾟ*#but the day is not over yet my uncle asked me for a big art quest and I do not want to disappoint #he wants a muppet tattoo and asked me to draw it #my uncle has started to get tattoos a few months ago #as far as I know he has now gotten 3 note clefs 3 stars a flower and multiple birds #he also started getting piercings but so far I managed not to know exactly where #I think tattoos are super cool (´｡･v･｡｀) I wish I had a good idea for a tattoo but the last time I was very sure about getting a tattoo #it was heath ledgers face as the joker #at that point I was 12 and would not see the actual movie for two more years #a muppet tattoo is a way better idea!! he asked for the count van count! that is also one of my top 3 muppets ₍՞◌′ᵕ‵ू◌₎♡#I always thought I knew a lot about muppet lore but since I started looking up muppet pictures I think there are still a lot of secrets #can the muppets from the Sesame Street actually leave the Sesame Street?#I think Kermit is both on the Muppet Show and on Sesame Street but he is also like the boss muppet #he might have special abilities #I hope you're having a good day friends!! with jim henson trending on tumblr I urge everyone to watch the dark crystal (2019) it was produced by the jim henson company and netflix and one of the producers is jims daughter. if you like epic fantasy and miss practical effects and shows where it’s clear so much soul and hard work was poured into it? watch the dark crystal. I know Sesame Street is still doing its thing. I know it’s more inclusive than ever. Jim Henson Studios is on the right side of history.

For me though, I grew up with Kermit when the show was created primarily for poorer, inner city kids to have something both fun and educational and free to watch.

I learned life lessons that still hold true today.

Thanks for the magic, Jim.

You know no intentionally scary puppet content like Welcome Home or Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared makes me as uneasy as the unintentionally creepy first appearance of Snuffleupagus. That I just recently found out about.

Muppets are usually pretty lively but Snuffy is. Very still in this except for like...swaying an bit? And there’s no music. And it’s not clear whether he’s real or not. And

I never saw this as a kid but the more refined Snuffleupagus puppet of the Sesame Street I grew up with still gave me the creeps when I was little (I have since moved past this) but like. If I had seen this instead? Nightmares..

sunny days by David Kamp is very insightful when it comes to all the kid shows from the 60's to 80's!! I recommend it if you are interested in reading on that kind of stuffs! The passage on Sesame Street and diversity surprised me! I hadn't expected a lot of the information it provided but it definitely helped !!
