Gucke grad Tschick (2016) und spüre mal wieder das Bedürfnis, ein neues Fandom auf AO3 auf zu machen. Fühle nur leider keinen kleinen Oneshot, sondern einen riesen 100k Epos der 4 Jahre in der Zukunft spielt und aufgezogen ist wie eine sitcom. Tschick kriegt eine coming out Geschichte und einen Freund. Mike kriegt Therapie. Hey Leute, hier sind meine Lieblingsstellen aus dem unvollendeten, postum veröffentlichten Roman Bilder deiner großen Liebe von Wolfgang Herrndorf

(Zum Buch selbst: Es ist aus der Sicht von Isa Schmidt geschrieben und erzählt davon, wie sie aus einer psychiatrischen Einrichtung abhaut, und was sie auf ihrer Flucht erlebt. Es ist mehr oder weniger eine Vorgeschichte zu Tschick, daher werden auch die Erlebnisse mit Maik und Andrej darin thematisiert, nur dass sie diesmal nicht aus Maiks, sondern aus Isas Perspektive beschrieben werden.)

The world is bad, and the human is bad too. Never trust anyone and never go with a stranger and so forth. My parents told me that, my teachers told me that, and television told it too. When you watch the News: The human is bad. When you watch Spiegel TV: The human is bad. It might be true and the human is 99 percent bad. The odd thing was, that Tschick and I exclusively met people from the remaining single percent that wasn't.

two fourteen year old boys, one stolen car and the entire world ahead. this one is required reading in most german schools so theres a huge chance that most of my friends dont like it, but this book means so much to me - the feeling of infinity, invincibility and freedom that you only dream of when you're a teen. mike and tschick, two outsiders who find each other through some weird turn of fate, go on a journey thats colorful, funny, exciting and heartwarming and leaves you looking at the world in a brighter light somehow.
