Self Care With Aaravos Hcs

🥀CW: the writer is ridiculously not ok over aaravos, fluff, mentions of non-sexual nudity and bathing, mentions of shaving

aaravos is someone who prioritizes self care alot, and has a lot of self care products. especially within his imprisonment, in the beginning he was very neglectful of himself and lowkey depressed but after he eventually understood the situation and adjusted he would prob start doing self care at least to occupy the time

he has the silkiest, smoothest, thickest most luscious hair uve ever seen and has like a billion products for it

his haircare routine is probably like 40 steps alone 💀 not to mention all of the time he spends styling his hair and brushing it through

aaravos has a wall of all the products that he uses and its all neatly labeled and organized in sections depending on what its used for

if u want to help him with his hair, he will gladly let you wash it for him however will instruct u on the specific process and will make u use all pf his products in a super specific order 😭😭😭

he would also wash ur hair for u too, and is super gentle if u have curly hair like me

i wouldnt say this is a self care hc, but when hes out of his prison he definitely styles his hair a lot more than just leaving it down! i hc that he would probably wear it in so many styles, and will spend a lot of time in the morning braiding it or tying it up and adding in accessories :)

i feel like he would do skincare too, i remember seeing this one silly comic on the official tdp website that you can find here, but its basically a (joke) comic ab aaravos dealing with a pimple that i just found hilarious and i feel like would it be very in character for him to have a super good skincare routine

if ur someone who has/had really bad acne and skin like me, he would definitely do skincare with u and would teach you about elven products that he likes (only if u wanted him too tho)

he likes doing face masks with u and the both of you love having self care and skincare days where u guys just chill

its so funny when u walk in on him relaxing with a face mask on and cucumbers over his eyes, but its also kinda endearing that he trusts u enough to be so relaxed and vulnerable around u!

aaravos has a lot of body washes and soaps, and when the two of u bathe together its like a whole mf spa he will pour in bubbles and use all these nice smelling soaps like omfg hes so spoiled but u both love it

along with that, i feel like hes the type to use a lot of body scrubs so he always smells nice yk? i also feel like hes the type to shave and keeps his body hair to a minimum, but doesnt really care what u do ab that he just feels more comfortable without it

when yall bathe or shower together u cant help but admire him cuz hes just so,, pretty and its so mesmerizing to watch him go through all the steps of his self care routines-

im imagining him gently running his hands through your hair as he washes it, humming softly to himself and gently holding your head and cupping your face as he rinses the soap out, placing soft kisses on the back of your neck and shoulders auugh. he then proceeds to carefully wash your entire body, softly rubbing his body soaps across your back, down your chest, on your legs and wherever u want, hes very content in just washing u and worshiping your body. aaravos will trail kisses all over ur body after washing u, hes so devoted to u do mi ti why not me im gonna cry why arent u real

i also feel like aaravos would have very pretty hands and uses a lot of lotions and oils for his hands and nails, he does nail and hand selfcare and will do your nails for u if u want him too!

i feel like he would keep his relatively short but still a little long, and would absolutely ROCK glittery silver nails!!!

he will kiss u on the back of ur hand when hes done doing ur nails for u hhhhhh im not ok

he loves it when u use his hand lotions, or any of his products really. theres a possessive part of aaravos that is very pleased seeing u enjoy his products, and the fact that u smell like him and smell good is a bonus

u both will have self care date days and will take care of eachother the whole day, taking turns doing all of ur routines and having a whole spa day and relaxing with soothing incense burning in the background and its just a wonderful and relaxing time with ur lover <3

I was too tired yesterday to do a recap but then again, I have so. many. thoughts., so let's do this.

I didn't watch the jr men free, I bailed as soon as I heard Michael Buble. I like Adam Hagara the most of this batch of boys, something about his fundamentals gives me hope that he can only go up from here. The rest will probably get lost in their nations' deep fields, which is a shame.

The jr women were a veritable jewelry box full of the most precious gems and I can't wait to see them sparkle over the next decade or so. They were hands down the highlight of the weekend for me. And overall they had age-appropriate material, which I really appreciated.

The jr dance FD event was way messier than the RD and far less inspired. Kiliakov Jr. is a very good skater but his parental units belong in jail for this Duchesnay knockoff, I've only ever heard that stupid flute against my will. The winning Americans moved and skated really well, but it was to the melody and not the beat, which defeats the whole purpose of ice dance. Another egregious example of this elsewhere is Gauthier/Thieren's Woodkid. Nevertheless, it was nice to see skaters from different schools all do so well and have good basics. Btw, who knew the Canadian jr field was held together only by the strength of Noah's knee ligaments? Poor kid, I hope he can recover because Jordyn is so phenomenal.

Ava and Yohnatan are such diamonds, their skating makes me so happy and I hope they have a smooth transition into senior in a few years. Jaz and Kiki have amazing chemistry, but Oakville has been sending out these jr pairs that lack half the elements and it's been so nerve-wracking to watch. Idk, maybe send them to Milton a couple of times a week to get jumps? Also, ouch, what a rough skate for the little Flores sis, it all looked so painful. But omfg, the Georgians. I didn't think anything could be worse than their short, but I've seen their FS and their exhibition now and all I can say is WTF. Russia will round up its gay people but then send skaters out with the gayest programs imaginable with sense of zero irony. She can sort of pull off the theatrical dress but his outfit would blend in nicely behind a set of prison bars, which is where it belongs. That silly collar will haunt my dreams. And the little tiara? What if she flies head-first into the boards? Truly no sense of self-preservation whatsoever. Just a hot mess. And their ridiculous exhibition really took me out. Why was she dressed as an elf card dealer and why were her boobs around her neck? Did we really need to see this boy in his unmentionables? So many choices, so little sense. I loathe a gimmicky exhibition or program in general - if you're not H/B or Kurt or somebody like that, stay home.

Speaking of the exhibitions, I didn't bother with most of them, but the only ones who were able to pull off being playful without being cringe were Sara and Niccolo. G/F's exhibition looks like something C/B would do as a competitive program. And if I hadn't cancelled G/P already over their other material, this country-ass Woody and Bo Peep exhibition would've been it for me. But this is the same team that skated to Evita during an economic downturn when Paul comes from LatAm colonial money, so my expectations of them are so low as to be subterranean. And Ilia tripping on that stupid hat tells me that he needs to learn the first rule of ice dance: NO HATS!!! None - no elaborate headgear, no easily detachable hair accessories, no hair pieces heavier than the skater's head, nothing! Rules #2 and #3 are, naturally, keep your ass off the ice and don't mess up the twizzles. That's it. You'd think there'd be more to it than that, but no. A skater might think they're being innovative by putting excessive shit in their hair, but they're actually being dumb (as an example, watch Bobrova/Solovyev's OD in Vancouver and how their sailor hats kept sliding into their eyeballs). Btw, Ted saying that Kevin had an uncharacteristic meltdown in the free had me cackling - Theodore, that was exactly on-brand for Kevin, where the hell have you been? If anything, his recent consistency has been the anomaly. Smfh.

I guess the senior events will have to be a separate message lol.

I'm going to take your word on all of this, Fashionista Nonny, because I didn't watch any of the juniors, and I rarely, if ever, watch any of the gala. So I am going to defer to you and just say I agree with you across the board because I trust you implicitly.

Which is better: good 'ole southern food or sea food? Despite coming from and still living in, I legitimately enjoy almost NO southern food. Absolute garbage. I don't enjoy much sea food either though, save for shrimp, so I guess that. Have you ever had a very strong spiritual experience? I dunno. What do you think you want to major in at college? I procrastinate all to hell, but I "justify" it with me having SO much extra time in the library while Mom takes her classes that I have a great deal of time to just do everything in there. Perhaps my "strangest" is what's referred to as "vulture culture," which is essentially using naturally-deceased (usually wild) animals for art, such as those popular crystal-covered skulls, necklaces, creative use of wet specimens, stuff like that. I find some odd beauty and respect in creating art of the dead - it's like... making death beautiful and honoring the creature by immortalizing it in an art form. I personally photograph roadkill (that shit's confused the fuck outta drivers lmao) with the goal of forcing the brutality of it onto viewers and just make you think "okay yeah I need to drive more carefully." I don't know if that technically qualifies as vulture culture as I don't really... use the corpses, but nevertheless, I really enjoy doing it. I do kinda question the morality of it, like you can't ask an animal "hey do you wanna be art when ur dead?", so you're left to decide for it, but I think I lean ever so slightly more towards it being respectful, showing the beauty of its life. I WANT TO SAY HOWEVER, I DO FUCKING NOT support hunting trophies. I even question taxidermy outside of being from hunting considering you're not really making art, something new, some sort of message, out of it. There's no creative purpose other than to show "hey look at this dead animal!!", and besides that, it kinda creeps me out. Wow sorry for the ramble, I'm just into this stuff. sometimes when you remove doubles from the entire mesh, it makes weird shadows (you can see them in solid mode) that are super dark. Edge splitting gets rid of them without causing a seam to show in the mesh

Ronghua’s outfit and accessories are usually not gaudy or flashy by any means since it’s rather unnecessary to her.

But she has a ridiculous amount collection of hair pins (or hair sticks whatever you may called them), usually of metal kind. Most of them are simple jewel designs.

Ronghua usually has at least 3~4 hair sticks on her head on almost any given moment

Why so many?

Bc it is her hidden weapons when she needs it

Not only she can shoot it out and pin her opponent to the wall

RongHua’s Elemental Skill (no name yet still thinking) , she use her metal hair pin as a medium to absorb/gather the surrounding dust/earth & metals like a magnetic and turn the hair pin into a Sword that deal Geo damage.

Emmy Awards No Show: Part I

Hey guys! I was a seat filler on Sunday at the 69th Emmy awards! I was fortunate enough to get selected out of 20k applications by a lottery! Ben didn't show up, but I met many other celebrities and was lucky enough to sit near the Westworld cast. They are all beyond beautiful in person! Anyway, I wanted to write a story about my experience and what would have happened if you met Ben at the Emmy's. Enjoy!

You arrived at the Microsoft theater with the 300 other seat fillers. You were still in shock that you got selected, you out of 20,000 other applicants. As you stood in front of the theater watching the celebrities enter the red carpet, you thought about the primary reason why you signed up to be a seat filler, the primary reason why you spent the entire week scrambling to find a formal dress, shoes, jewelry, accessories, spanx, pasties, make-up, and teeth whitener; the primary reason why you suffered through an entire body wax and lost many hours of sleep because you knew everything had to be perfect, because you were destined to meet the man of your dreams....

You kept fidgeting and were so worried about how you looked. It was your first time attending such a formal event, it was your first time wearing spanx and pasties. But you knew you had to look your ABSOLUTE best if you wanted to impress the man of your dreams.....

"Alright seat fillers, let's move it!"

You immediately snap out of your trance and followed the crowd into the security line. Everyone stopped and looked at you, which made you even more nervous and fidgety. You looked stunning. You wore a simi halter top dress that laced at the neck and stopped at your waist. The top of the dress was nude colored covered with black lace. The back of the dress was pure lace, so wearing a bra was not an option. From the waist down, the black dress hung low and touched the floor. You had a sexy slit that showed off your tanned muscular thighs. You had smokey eyes enhanced by your thick and dark eyes lashes. Pink blush covered your cheekbones and you wore a neutral colored gloss, which made your eyes stand out even more. You wore your hair brushed to the left side that was held together by a beautiful shiny rhinestone hair clip. You wore a V-shaped rhinestone necklace that hung low over your exposed cleavage. You wore a rhinestone bracelet with black shoes designed with same rhinestones. Oh yeah, you looked hot as fuck. All the work you put into your look came to life.

"Ma'am, open your purse please."

You fidget through your purse, nearly dropping everything inside of it.

"Oh sorry." You explain to the security guard.

You shake your head and roll your eyes at your klutziness.

"Y\N, get it together girl." You say to yourself as you finally enter the Microsoft theater.

You were inside. You were about to enter a place that many celebs had been, you were about to enter a place that others only dreamt of entering.

You and all the seat fillers were placed against the wall, a floor above the main level of the theater. You were alone, but managed to make some friends while waiting in line.

A staff member from the seat fillers approached you. You didn't know what to think. You read all the rules about the dress code, no cameras, no autographs with celebs, no talking to any celebs unless they talk to you first, period. You began fidgeting again when and your eyes widened as the seat filler staff member approached you.

"Are you willing to separate from your friends?"

You look around.

"I'm actually here alone." You explain.

"Come with me." The seat filler staff grabbed your right hand and pulled you downstairs to the lower level of the theater.

"Where are we going?" You asked bashfullly.

"To find you a seat to fill."

You walk into the theater and it looks like you walked into the gates of heaven. You immediately notice Sofia Vergara, Viola Davis, Tracee Ellis Ross, LL Cool J, and Anthony Anderson and many others. As you are guided to your seat, which is in the first row front and center, all the nerves you had immediately left your body. You were so honored to be there, front and center at the Emmy's! As you sit down, a publicist approaches you.

"Are you a seat filler? " she asks boldly.

"Yes, I am." You speak, finally sounding somewhat confident.

She whispers in your ear.

"You are sitting next to Oprah Winfrey. What ever you do, please do not talk to her, ask for photos with her, or ask for her autograph. She is a very high profile client who wishes not to partake in these requests."

"Yes ma'am, understood!"

OMG! You're seated next to Oprah Winfrey!

Breathe, breathe, BREATHE!!

Here she comes, the legendary philanthropic and unbelievably stunning Oprah Winfrey!

She takes her seat and grabs your right hand.

"How are you?" She shakes your hand.

You're stunned.

Breathe!!!

"I'm doing great, how are you?" You ask trying your hardest to contain yourself. Oprah smiles and you smile back.

Oprah just talked to you and touched your hand!!! Omfg!!!!

The show is about to start and you are asked to move because the person who's seat you were asked to fill returns.

For a second you almost forgot about your primary reason for being there....

Ben Barnes. Where the hell was he?

The next thing you knew, you were outside of the theater waiting to get back in. After having a near throw down with the Emmy's staff, you finally find the seat fillers staff and was let back into the theater with the others.

After moving around about three more times and seeing Nicole Kidman win an Emmy, you were placed in the third aisle, a row that would be unforgettable.

As you adjust yourself in your new seat, you look up to find Jimmi Simpson grinning at you! Then, you look up further and see Evan Rachel Wood sitting in the first row, and across from you is Thandie Newton!

This can't be fucking real.

As you compose yourself and realize that you were sitting amongst the Westworld cast, you frantically look for Ben.

Where the fuck is he?

It was already 7:30 and you knew the show would be ending at 8 pm sharp. You continued looking around, and you spot Angela Sarafyan and Jeffrey Wright, but still no Ben.

What the fuck?

You were asked to move three more times, only you were lucky enough to stay in the area where the Westworld cast was. As you smiled and put on fake laughs at the corny Emmy jokes, you began to think that all the work, money, time and lack of sleep for your primary reason for being there had gone to waste.

As the show ended, you grab your purse and fur collard sweater and began to make your way towards the exit of the theater. As you walk through the lobby, you had butterflies in your stomach because you had an AMAZING night, however, your goal was not met, your dream was not fulfilled and now you had to go home and tell everyone that you did not meet Ben.

As you exited the building, a few tears rolled down your cheeks. You grab a tissue from your purse while still walking down Chick Hearn Court, when you bump into a tall man wearing a Burberry tuxedo jacket. The impact had you stumbling down to the ground, landing on your ass. "I'm so sorry," the man spoke as he held his hand out to help you get up. "I should have been paying closer attention to where I was going."

I just read all of Santis story. Dear god, it is amazing. I cannot begin to describe how much I love it. I have been really sick lately and have such a hard time concentrating on anything for more than one second but I have not been able to look away from this story, not even when I re-read it for the third time. You are an amazing writer and I have fallen in love with every charachter you have introduced. I teared up so many times and my heart began beating fast, it was really an experience.

i wasn't kidding when i said the need to explore was a bit compulsive so it's mostly a relief

ah from up here i see the sandstorm...i think it rotates around the desert? so, it's very possible to avoid and survive even if you do get stuck

anyway i missed several shrines but the quests for them are so complex and i am so Sick

of the desert. even worse than rain tbh

now the question is what to do next: master sword or rito beast

lowkey wanna wait until i get all four beasts before the sword, but

i know you do all four beasts and then ganon and that's it, so if i got the sword then it wouldn't help me for long

I think that probably my favorite stories were the ones that didn't have lessons - they were just full of people doing what they wanted So, ancient mythology really caught my eye. It made the gods seem troll-like, and they just did what they wanted.

Im rlly strugglin...i cant pick just one doll....im bout to spend a couple hundred bucks on multiple dolls....is that better than spending a couple hundred bucks on a single doll and all her accessories? Idk... like jfc....im such a....greedy guts....what am i supposed to do.....NOT buy dolls????????????????? omfg between the dolls and the sewing machine........500 for each....1000 bucks gone right there.....god im such a fucking SHITHEAD!!!! just dont buy the dolls i guess????? UGH i hate it so much why am i like this the easy solution is to just not buy dolls why is it so hard i have so many what the fuck is actually wrong with me.....

Theres lots of different styles of dolls that i still want...wanting dolls isnt inherently a bad thing...but im unemployed this money is all i have u_u ugghhh...i should be more responsible.....i was telling myself i should only pick one but i couldnt choose between the 3 i had picked....i cant choose....the kind of collector i am...i like to have multiple in different styles from one source...like when i got into monster high i had to get one of every character i like and when i got my blythes i got one of each size i like having multiple from a set golly gosh gee wiz what a buncha hooey i bought animal crossing today too...

Serra, a Store for the Cannabis Cannaseur

Now that more than half the states in the US have legalized marijuana in some form (whether it’d be for medical or recreational use), there is no shortage of stores and e-shops selling modern pot paraphernalia for the high-end cannaseur. (We even rounded up a few of our favorites here.) Serra is such a store. Unlike your local head shop filled psychedelic alien wares and Alice In Wonderland-themed merchandise, this Portland-based shop is a high-end cannabis dispensary that prides itself on providing beautiful, minimalistic pipes and accessories.

Below, I got the chance to chat with Serra’s Brand Development Director Cambria Benson Noecker about “smokable art” and some of the challenges with opening a luxury store for the cannabis market.

Why did you pick this city/neighborhood/storefront?

For Serra’s flagship location we restored an 1889 storefront in Portland’s Historic Old Town District. The striking space and proximity to Portland’s cultural center were two of the main draws. As one of the many native Portlander’s on our team, we were thrilled to be able to contribute to a resurgent district with Historical significance.

Where did you get the name for the store?

Serra, is Italian for greenhouse. We intentionally strayed from the literal use of green in both our naming and branding and worked with the creative minds at OMFG CO in creating both the name and brand.

Has it changed much since it opened? How?

We opened our doors in July of 2007 and are lucky to have worked closely with our environmental designers, interior designer and our in-house compliance officer to anticipate legal requirements and were able to incorporate most obstacles organically into our retail design. That being said, we are continually working on upgrading and refreshing our space. Next up is a custom built hand-rolled joint station that will be an amazing addition to our flagship store.

What’s one of the challenges you have with the business?

The legal state of marijuana throughout our design, build and launch has definitely been the biggest obstacle we’ve been faced with. When starting our design-process having an open, light-filled, welcoming space was a huge priority for us but at that stage we had to have our storefront obscured from public view. We gambled on the hope that this law was changing and incorporated a green house glass and steel wall with privacy film into our design so we could still get the desired feel. In October when the laws changed we joyfully pulled down the film!

What’s your favorite item in the store right now?

Our Serra-exclusive Summerland bong. Summerland Ceramics, a line of gorgeous white ceramic smokeable art pieces that were one the first product lines we approached when selecting our assortment. We were lucky to be the first brick-and-mortar to carry the artist’s pieces and worked with him to develop a special edition piece that incorporated our signature shade of Yves Klein Blue.

What is this season’s theme?

Smoking as a lifestyle. From the flower we selected, to our edibles to pipes, everything was carefully curated to empower smoking to be incorporated into normalcy.

Are you carrying any new products and/or undiscovered gems you’re particularly excited about?

We just launched our first edible line with Woodblock Chocolate, Portland’s first bean-to-bar chocolate manufactory, and have created a seed-to-weed to bean-to-bar infused dark chocolate and milk chocolate bars.

What’s been a consistent best seller?

Flower is our constant best seller and we designed our store to have that product be in the heart of it with our u-shape flower counter. Customers can explore the counter with our docents in their journey to find the perfect strain through our feelings-based approach. Our mantra and motto is “Feel all the Feelings” we assign our strains feelings (happiness, relaxation, creativity, energy, relief and focus) and our flower is coded around the counter with iconography to help them get matched with flower that will help them achieve the feeling they are looking to achieve.

Does the store have its own line?

We have exclusive collaborations with a grower: Pruf Cultivar, a chocolatier: Woodblock Chocolate and many artists with cannabis accessories, such as our exclusive Serra x Summerland bong. Right now under our own product line we have apparel and rolling papers, but we are actively looking to expand our offerings.

Any special events/exhibits/pop ups/collaborations coming up?

We are honored to be participating in Portland Design week and are doing a special two-day open house with a special art-installation. Details are under wraps for now, so stay tuned! We also have an under-wraps collaboration on the edible/drinkable side of the business slated for release on 4/20.

Do you have anything from the store in your own home?

Our home has become a shrine to the gorgeous “smokable art” we carry in our store. I always joke that most items on display on our shelves can either be smoked or store weed. One of my current favorites in the Cannador we carry, think a gorgeous cigar-box for weed. My other favorite is my weed cart, I’ve taken my vintage bar cart and turned it into a treasure-trove of smoking goodies I like to bring out when we have guests.

What’s next for you and your store?

We are expanding into e-commerce! We have an amazing selection of cannabis-lifestyle items, from pipes to bongs, to handmade joint-rolling machines and joint jewelry, we are beyond excited to start offering the items for sale on-line to our out-of-state shoppers.

What’s one lesson you’ve learned since opening your store?

Always be flexible but confident in your choices. We had a lot of obstacles due to the changing legal landscape in Oregon and flexibility was essential in bringing the project to fruition. The other thing I really learned was to have confidence in your voice and design decisions, from the beginning we were told again and again that our store was too-fancy and not right for the cannabis market. We stayed confident in our belief that this was the direction the market needed to evolve to and couldn’t be happier with the path we are set out on.

If you could give one piece of advice to someone who wants to follow a similar path to yours, what would it be?

Right now the cannabis world is one of the most exciting and challenging industries to be a part of. Do whatever you can to be a part of the wild-west of the industry, but never cut-corners in achieving your goal. The hard work pays of personally and for the collective industry.
