death tw & discussion of the last post if you want to skip this!
also “things i missed” anon, i’m writing yours out separately 💖
Tumblr media
@nightowlelias omg you finished it?? that was so much to read ahh i’m so happy you liked it enough to get through it all ;-; anyway, yes! you’re exactly right! the anon below you actually has the same idea, so i’ll add onto that...
Tumblr media
yes!! you phrased yourself perfectly, don’t worry! this concept will be expanded on later so i can’t say too much now, but you’re correct! jada never had a chance of saying this woman’s life because she had already “chosen” to save sylvia (though she couldn’t have known the consequences at the time). :(
Tumblr media
oh that’s an interesting theory!! 👀 we may or may not (wink wink) meet someone else who has visions like jada in the future, but this woman actually didn’t! you’re right that she was haunted by something though, and ultimately she couldn’t take it anymore :(
Tumblr media
@simsdad omg thank you :’) i thought about doing something for them, but i have so many good moms in my story that it would’ve been a huge project fjkjsd but happy mothers day ;-; 💖

Collateral Damage || A Yoru x Fem!reader Fanfic
Chapter 2: The Plan
Tumblr media
"Y/n, get up" said Viper, as she threw a bag on your bed.
"Wha..." You said, as you picked up the bag, your eyes groggy, your voice rusty and dry.
What in the world... You squint your eyes open, it's barely 4am in the morning, what is Sabine doing in your room?
"Uhm.. Sabby... Don't you think it's a little too.." you yawn, spreading your arms in the air. "Early?" You ask, scratching your back with your eyes closed.
You definitely weren't a morning person. In fact, you hated mornings so much, you often get out of bed at 1pm, when everyone's gone out to do their missions. There's just something about mornings that you don't quite like... Your voice gets all weirdly monotone, you get the morning sniffles and god... Your hair is all over the place. You don't get people like Brimstone and Sage, they barely get a wink of sleep sometimes, and yet they're so full of energy in the morning... You shrug at the thought. Maybe they're immortal or something?
"Get ready. We're sending you out at 6am." Viper said, her words swift and demanding.
"But- that's in two-three hours?" you asked, confused as to why you possibly needed that many hours to get ready.
"Precisely." She said. "Get everything you need and put it in the bag. Clothes, toothbrush, general things." She said a list of things that you didn't quite catch.
Is she throwing me out..? Wha... You knew too well what to put in bags that look like these. Your time during foster care taught you as much. It's not like Sabine to throw you out though, so maybe it's part of the mission..? You failed to see which part of going to the battlefield would you ever need toothpaste though??
"What.. Why do I need.." Your brain was processing, confused. It was stuck in the loading screen as of this moment.
"Just do as I say. Once you're ready, go to my office, We'll have a short briefing. You, Me, Jett, Skye, Brimstone, and Killjoy will be out there today so make sure to pay attention later" And without saying another word, she left.
You were even more confused now. Why are six agents going? Usually, there would only be a team of 5 people.. Although it doesn't seem right, you followed her orders. Packing and making sure you were fresh and ready for today. Even though you hated mornings, you didn't dislike this morning.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hey, that ain't fair man." Phoenix said, wiping paint off of his cheek.
"Whoever said that you can't shoot people in the head, has obviously never been to a gunfight" Yoru said as he chuckled, shooting up that condescending smirk of his in the process.
"Yea well there are rules for a reason y'know?" Jett said as she dashed in between the two.
She takes the paintball gun out of Yoru's hands. "And you need to start learning them, you cheat!" she giggled.
Yoru rolls his eyes, vexed as he slowly removes his mask, revealing his face. Hair dripping in sweat. He doesn't normally let his hair fall down to his face, usually, it's smothered in gel or something that makes it stick up but sometimes it does get messy.
"You really need to start letting your hair fall to your face dude- you literally look like a popstar." said Jett, in awe of the duality of Yoru. The fact that he can either look like a soft boy band member or someone who likes to play hard metal every night is somehow impressive.
"Why would I ever want that?" He asks as he places a towel over his shoulders. He blows his hair away from his eyes as he drinks a bottle of water. Paintball fights are always so exhausting.
"Whatever. If you don't want no bitches then that's alright" Jett chuckled at her own joke while rolling her eyes.
"Who said my boy doesn't get bitches?" Phoenix said as he springs one arm over Yoru's shoulders.
Yoru smirks, he gets bitches. :)
"I mean, he may be lacking in some areas but this guy's got stamina." Phoenix said, holding back a chuckle.
"What-" he looks back at Phoenix and moves his arm away. "I don't lack in any areas." Yoru stares at his friends, who at this point have been laughing with their arms on their stomachs. He glares at their betrayal.
"Whatever, I'm don't feel like playing anymore. My hair's a mess and you guys aren't any fun to play with either." He steps out of the arena, towel in hand.
"Jeez that guy really can't take a joke." Jett says, floating mid-air when suddenly a splash of paint knocks her down. She stumbles on the ground but doesn't stay there for long.
"Hey Jett, wanna play?" Said phoenix as he tries to shoot more paintballs at Jett.
"You betcha-" She quickly puts her mask on and gets her gun ready.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I'm gonna have to WHAT?" You said, surprised by what Brimstone told you.
"Look Y/n, I know it sounds a little too harsh for a first mission and all but you're the only one who can do this" said Brimstone.
"There is absolutely no way you were the one who thought of this-" You said in disbelief, looking over at Viper. You were already nervous enough, now you're even more jittery- what happens if the portal closes and you're all alone in a strange parallel world where you knew no one? You thought you were ready but oh god. Maybe not-
"Pull yourself together Y/n. You told me that you were ready, well this is your chance to prove that you are." Viper said. You looked at her with your eyes wide open, you were scared. Anxious. And she knew it.
"But- what if-" before you even got to ask for more details, the door clicked open, interrupting you as a breeze of light air flew in, blowing your sweat off.
"Heeey!! What's up bestie??" Jett comes in, coming at you with a high five, yet you just stare at her, your mouth almost gaping open as your eyes stay still in shock, still extremely concerned about what Viper and Brimstone told you about just now.
"Oookay- Anyways, I'm amped! Let's go!!" Jett said, obviously something happened to you, she wasn't sure what to say or do so she just sat next to you.
"Calm down Jett, we need to wait for the others, I'm sure they'll be here in a few minutes." Brimstone said, checking his watch, 5 am.
Jett leans over to you. "Just so y'know, it's totally normal to get the heebie-jeebies on the first mission. Plus you have me- C'mon, I'll take care of you." She whispered, hoping to at least calm your nerves a little. She figured you were just nervous since it was your first mission.
Her words kind of reassured you, even tho you were still a little jittery, you still had the determination to prove yourself. That's right she's here with me, so are Brim and Sab, I'm in safe hands.
One by one, everyone entered the room, while waiting, you and Jett pretty much just babbled the whole time. You just wanted to spend your time with her, this is probably gonna be the last silly conversation you were gonna have with Joon-Hee and you'd rather not ruin it by telling her exactly what your mission actually is.
It kinda makes you sad actually... Come to think of it, you've never really done anything drastic outside of HQ. You've seen missions from a monitor screen but you've never seen the real thing y'know? This place wouldn't normally be considered a welcoming home for any normal person, but that's the thing. Your family, your team, none of you are normal.
Fingers snapped in front of you "Hey- You okay?" Jett asked.
"No, yea, yea, I'm fine." You said, stuttering a little. You might have blanked out the entire time Viper briefed the team for the game plan... Not that it mattered anyway, It's not like you were majorly part of it.
Jett looked at you, worry on her face because she just simply didn't know what to do. She suddenly remembered her first time going on a mission. She used to be a chef y'know. Her occupation changed but her specialty hasn't. She's still as skilled with knives as she was years before. She could sense that something was wrong, it's like the best friend in her just screamed that you were not well right now and the worst part is that she didn't know what it was.
"KJ get those nanobots ready and place them carefully. Skye, make sure you get your animals ready. And Jett, for the love of God, don't rush." Brimstone said.
Everyone was too busy tending to their weapons when really, everyone failed to notice that you were gone. You quietly sneaked out of the room to get some fresh air. Viper and Brimstone said that your mission was supposed to be top secret. You're trying extremely hard to keep it to yourself but the look on Jett's face... the fact that you know, she knows. It hurts not being able to say it. It hurts even more knowing that after today, everyone's gonna be thinking you're dead. You can't possibly imagine how Jett's gonna react. Neon and Jett...
You were in a mid panic attack. Y'know the ones where your face looked all good and dandy but you were just dying inside. Yep. That's what's happening right now. You were just standing outside the meeting hall when you suddenly felt eyes on you.
You turn back to see...

Breathing the same air as Lee Haechan meant trouble.
Especially for you, someone as simple as a book store cashier, it'd be the best to stay away from him.
But there was something so intriguing about him the first encounter, that made both you and him go back to each other.
Maybe it was a mere coincidence, or maybe it was because you'd pray to clash paths with him each time you went to work.
But it was on a Sunday, night shift, when the owner of the small bookstore expressed her concerns about her granddaughter being sick, stating that she needs to leave for the day, leaving you by yourself to close up when you met him.
You were fine with that, your house was just around the corner.
There was hardly an hour left, and only about a customer or two came in, leaving after getting what they what they wanted. You decided to pack up for the day. Walking lane by lane, table to table to clean up the place.
Reaching over shelves to place the books that were scattered on the table, you hear a bang from behind, startling you.
You cautiously approach the front, staying behind the shelf in case it'd be a thief. There, near your counter, stood a boy, his back facing you. His back was moving up and down frantically. Thinking that he's a customer, you come out of your hiding, already wearing a smile on your face.
"Welcome Si-" you see the boy flinch, not expecting anyone to be there. He swore he saw the lights dim from outside and no movement. He turned back in a swift motion, clutching at something inside of his leather jacket. Upon examining his features carefully, noticing faint red at the corner of his lips, hair disheveled, you let out a gasp.
You approach him with fast steps "Sir are you ok-" your steps were halted, the boy, who had his hands inside his jacket, took it out, unstable hands pointing a gun at you. You stood dead on your track, breathing uneven as you stood in a life and death situation. "Back off." The boy opened his mouth the first time that night. Voice rough, yet honey like.
The longer you stand there, the more you see his eyelids drop. As scared as you were, you being the nice person you are, take small steps one after the other. It was extremely silent, when he lost consciousness, falling face first onto the ground in front of you. You fasten your steps towards him, the distance shortening with each step you take.
"Sir?? Mr.??" you turn him around, carefully placing him back onto the floor, his front facing you, the proximity of your faces made it easier for you to see the scratches that scattered all over his face, moles spilled here and there. The boy was good looking, no doubts.
With great difficulty, you lift him up, placing him on your back, going back towards the end of the book store, where the students usually sit to study without getting disturbed.
The seats there were much more comfortable than the wooden ones at the front of the store. You drop him onto one of the seats, going back to the counter to get out the first aid kit, when you hear the door being slammed open.
In came 3 guys, all in similar attire, they were all over 6'0 from the looks of it, or maybe you were just short. They were panting hard, just like how you'd seen the other boy at the back of your store.
They screamed danger.
"Where the fuck is he?" one of them asked, the tallest among the three, they were definitely here for the unknown boy, all three carrying pistols in their own hands. You feign confusion, oblivious to the guys. "Pardon me?" The one beside the guy who spoke up, looked you up and down, turning front, facing the shop scanning his eyes all over the place. "Lee Haechan. Where is he?" he asked.
Haechan. That's what the boy's name is.
"I'm sorry i do not know who you're talking about" you turn back to your counter. One of them approached you, standing extremely close, the only thing preventing your bodies from touching being the counter.
"Did you see anyone pass by here?" his voice was deadly low. You gulp down the lump forming in your throat in a subtle way. You shake your head. "But i did see someone run past the corner store" the boys all nodded their heads, exchanging glances as you look at them exit the store, amused at how gullible the guys were. After making sure they left, you make your way to the back, this time with the first aid kit in your hand.
On reaching, you set the box down, taking your towel from your pocket, approaching his body, his breath now normal. You wipe the sweat from his forehead, the nape of his neck, cleaning it up.
Satisfied, you reach out for a cotton ball, pouring a little bit of antiseptic onto it, dabbing it over his bruises.
You started from the scars at the sides of his face, then the edge of his slit eyebrow, to his left cheek. The only thing left, his lips.
You turn back setting the used cotton ball, taking a new one out when you feel yourself being watched.
He said not a word, just stared back, sending shivers down your back. You decided to resort back to cleaning his wound, approaching him for the third time that night, almost placing the cotton ball at the dried blood in the corner of his lips. When seeing him, not put up a protest, you continue.
You face the boy, Haechan once again, immediately dropping the cotton as you find him stare right into your soul. Breathtaking. The only word that can explain the boy. His features cold, eyes void of any emotion, it was scary, horrifying even. You unintentionally stammer "I-i was just cleaning up your wound"
"if you don't mind me asking, wha-what happened to you?" silence. "Haechan..?" that clearly caught the boy off-guard. "How do you know my name?" he asked, voice no longer hoarse as it was when he passed out.
It was sweet, but still stern enough to scare anyone. "Oh there came these - these three guys looking for you, i assumed, an-d they said Haechan, so i thought that's your name"
You hear him mumble something under his breath, looking down, you spoke once again. "I sent them the wrong way though so you're fine, we can call the cops and tell them you were being chased-"
That's when he got up from his seat, obviously taller than you, his demeanor intimidating.
"Thank you for the service, but next time, try minding your own fucking business" and with that, he made his way out of the store.
And that was one out of n times you saved the boy, Lee Haechan's life.
That wasn't the last of Haechan that you saw.
Yes, he tried pushing you away each time you dashed each other. He'd ignore you, but you followed him around, still wanting to figure out what led to the boy having a fresh bruise each day.
-
It was 7:45pm you were let off work that day, exactly two weeks after the incident, two weeks of following the boy and two weeks into your new found interest.
Your house was the last one in your street, so it took at least 3 alley ways to cut short the route to your house, without walking on the main road
You stop at the store nearby to get some snack to munch on your way, paying for it and taking a turn into the corner street, house being just 2 minutes away now.
Passing by one of the alley ways, through your peripheral, you see a figure hunched over, leaning against the wall while 2 others, holding the boy, with another throwing blows after blows.
Not wanting to turn a blind eye, you hide behind the wall leading to the alley, taking out your phone, searching for a cop siren sound, because as much as you wanted to help the guy, you weren't going to risk your life going in there, not like that would do much anyways
Upon finding the desired sound you turn your volume to max, playing the audio, sparing a second glance into the alley way.
"Fuck fuck fuck run!" they collectively screamed, bolting out of the narrow road, as you pressed yourself hard against the wall in order to hide your figure from them. They didn't pay much attention to their surroundings, running further down the busy road far away from the street you stood in.
After making sure the coast was clear, you turn back, making your way slowly into the alleyway. Seeing him walking towards the entrance, hands clutching his middle, crouching.
"Hey are you okay?" you call out, hearing a voice, he looks up, "Haechan??". You see Haechan grit his teeth, turning his head to the side as you came in as hid life savior for the 14th time in a 2 week span, "For fuck's sake…"
You quicken your steps towards him, replacing his hand in the middle with yours, placing his hand over your shoulder. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Haechan asks, turning his face towards you with a glare, which softened just a bit after seeing the worried look on your face.
"Helping you. Again." He spits out blood, as you scrunch your face seeing the red substance. You start walking towards your house with fast steps, tumbling now and then when he loses his balance. "where are you taking me?" he asked, "Home."
"No Y/n not your house, they'll get to you"
Over the past weeks of you chasing him, him pushing you away and then you rescuing him, he had gotten to know quite a lot about you, as you were a bubbly person. Even so you knew nothing about him, besides the fact that his name is Lee Haechan and he is 20 years old.
"They won't" you say after reaching your house, gently stepping away from him to take out the keys.
You hear him mutter a few curses under his breath.
You open the door and reach out to hold him again, to which he pushed your hand away, making his way into your house on his own. He sat down on your couch, as you made your way to your room, placing the bag down on your bed before heading into the washroom to get the first aid kit.
Haechan sat motionless, looking around the studio apartment, seeing a bunch of pictures hung on the wall, pictures varying from your childhood days, to your highschool years and then to present, a smile unintentionally made its way onto his face.
Pathetic
Haechan growled at himself for how fast he'd gotten a soft spot for you. Yes he hated you the first few days, yes he envied you for living a normal life, but the genuine worry that would take over your expression each time you see him, made him feel human feelings that he hadn't felt in years.
It made him feel warm, made him feel the want to reach out to you again and again, but he knew that's wrong.
So immersed in his thoughts, Haechan didn't notice your presence until he heard an object hit the glass table in front of him.
"Take your shirt off" you said, placing the bowl of warm water down, alongside the first aid kit.
Haechan obliged, too drained to put up a protest, there covered multiple tattoos, most plain drawings with no meaning, but some so beautiful that you couldn't take your eyes off them.
"You wanna fuck me you just ask nicely Y/n, staring is rude" Haechan spoke, as you shift your gaze from his abdomen to his eyes, a smirk playing on his face.
"S-shut up" you say, turning back to take the towel, dipping it in warm water, bringing it up to his face, wiping it clean, as you slowly drag it down his chest, scrubbing clean of any dirt and blood.
Reaching his wound you softly wipe over it, careful not to increase the cut or the blood flow.
Haechan let you do what you did the best, knowing that you're dying to ask him a to z of everything that's happened from when you met him, till date.
"Haechan..?"
"I know what you're about to ask, don't." he said.
You didn't notice the position your in, leaving closer to wipe the last bit of blood off of him
"I think I have the right to know a little at least Haechan, this is plain unfair" you let out, sitting down as you felt your knees go numb. Haechan lets out a groan the moment you found a comfortable position to stay in, confusing you.
You look down, to see why he had let out the sign of discomfort, noticing now that your knees were directly at his groin, and you had made yourself comfortable on his thigh. Eyes widened, you immediately jolt up, only to feel yourself being pulled back down. "Stay."
You nod, slightly flushed as you felt Haechan draw circles with his fingers on your hips that he had used to keep you in place.
Haechan contemplates for a while, thinking whether to tell it to you or not.
"Y/n" he called out, you hum in response too concentrated in cleaning the wound on his shoulder to look up. You were right, it was unfair considering you save him from death's door step each time you could.
"my world is something that everyone asks you to stay away from. You especially, I regret coming into that store of yours the other day. It's dangerous, and definitely not a place for you." Haechan sat up straight, causing you to shift on top of him.
He picked you up by the waist, placing you on top of his lap once again, this time on both legs rather straddling one.
It's come this far, he gets to let his guards down just this once, right?
"I'm dangerous, Y/n. Not just my world. My world is all about selling drugs, gambling, stealing, murder you name it"
"Isn't that, like illegal?" you open your mouth finally, looking up from your hands, to his eyes. The innocence they held melted Haechan's heart, smiling at your question.
"Probably, who cares?" his casual reply had you worried about him.
The longer you stare at him with pure concern, a little nervousness and maybe, maybe just a bit of want, fueled up Haechan's desire.
Fuck it.
He reached out, pulling you down using your neck, pressing his lips firm against yours, the sudden contact made you flinch, but soon enough had you melting right into his touch.
He took your hands, that held the towel with his blood, removing the clothing from your hands and wrapped it around his neck.
The kiss was nowhere near soft, it was purely out of lust, frustration, and maybe a little love even.
Haechan pushed your hips further near his crotch, holding you there tightly, dragging his tongue across your lower lip, retreating it to bite down on the flesh, causing you to let out a soft moan.
You feel him smirk against your lips, his hands leaving your hips, going further down to your ass, giving it a light squeeze. "H-haechan.. Fuck" left your mouth as he attached his lips onto you neck, placing wet kisses in a rushed pace, almost as though he'd been wanting to do this all along.
"You have no idea, princess. But-" he nibbled on the skin of your neck, letting out a soft groan as your hips buck, hitting his clothed member.
"You drive me crazy"

I Can't Help But Wait
Embry Call/OC/mature rating
(This is the second half of part 3)
 had to fix this.
"I didn't know you were gonna be here, honey." Maybe that wasn't the best opening line?
She shrugged and glanced away, still standing in the doorway as I remained frozen in the hallway. "I wanted to surprise you. I...I made you dinner."
"Is it ready?" I asked hopefully. She knew my appetite was unreal, constantly teasing me for never gaining any weight.
We ate in silence as I let her take time to process my secret. After dinner, we sat and talked all night. I answered her questions for hours… all of them. No, I don't get fleas. Yes, sometimes I howl at the moon. No, I don't chase cars or piss on fire hydrants.
"Do you bury bones in the backyard?"
I sighed and threw my head back. "Now you're just fucking with me."
"Maybe," she laughed.
I reached for her but she twisted away and dashed off to the kitchen, mumbling about making me dessert. I ran my hands through my hair and sighed, hoping this meant we were okay. We had to be okay. I couldn't make it without her.
I rested my head against the back of the couch, letting my eyes fall closed. It had been a long week at work, framing up a new house for Brady and his soon-to-be wife, along with these endless patrols, my body needed rest. I nearly jumped out of my skin when I felt Nicolle slide her hand over my eyes and dangle something sweet over my lips. "Take a bite," she cooed from behind me.
I moaned at the taste of the ripe strawberry covered in fresh whipped cream. "So good."
I wondered if I had dozed off, because when Nicolle slowly made her way around the front of the couch to face me, I thought I was dreaming. "Is this real?" I murmured as I reached for her waist.
Nicolle stood before me wearing a sheer purple nightie. She lit a couple candles and turned the lights down. I raked my eyes over her near naked body and grinned like an idiot. She held a bowl of whipped cream in one hand, a bowl of strawberries in the other.
"So…we're gonna...I mean you want to...with me? Tonight? This is...we're really doing this?" I stuttered as I tried to tear my eyes away from her body.
Nicolle laughed nervously as she sat in front of me on the edge of the coffee table. "This…" she paused to look down at herself, her hands still holding the sweet treats. "This is all part of your dessert." When she nibbled on the corner of her mouth, I almost tackled her. "Do you want it?"
Do I want it? Fuck yes I do. I pulled both bowls from her hands and placed them on the table behind her. "I'm hungry, honey," I whispered as I pulled her onto my lap.
She straddled my legs and bit back a smile. "What about the food?"
I cupped her chin and guided her mouth down to mine. "I'm hungry for something else."
She kissed me back hesitantly, moaning into my mouth as my hands coasted up the front of her thighs. "Slow down, Embry," she sighed as we pulled away from the kiss.
My fingers toyed with the edge of her strappy panties, twisting the material as I tried to maintain a sense of control. "We can do anything you want," I teased. "As long as I can keep looking at you in this outfit."
"Embry," she sighed before my mouth landed back on hers.  We kissed and touched each other until I lifted her up and carefully placed her under me...where she belonged. I nipped my way down her body, teasing the edge of her nightie in an attempt to remove the barely there material.
This was as close as I had gotten to seeing her naked and she was still resisting me. "Can I taste you?" I begged as I brushed my lips across her stomach. I raised my head and gave her my best puppy dog eyes. "Please, honey?"
Nicolle bit down on her lower lip and nodded after what felt like an hour of waiting. I hooked my fingers around the sides of her panties and slid them down her legs. I tried to be patient and go slow, but my over eager ass dove right in.
"Oh!" she gasped as I pushed her thighs up and rested them over my shoulders. When I ran my tongue up the seam of her sex, she shuddered.
"Just relax. I'm gonna make you feel so good," I promised.
I pressed my tongue deeper, finding her most sensitive spot and latching on. I smiled against her wet folds when her fingers fisted the top of my hair and her body writhed underneath me. I found her spot, relentlessly laving my tongue over it until she called out my name. Her legs stiffened, caging me between her thighs. I gladly sipped from her, drinking every bit of her climax until she begged me to stop.
I climbed back up her body to find her smiling and gasping for breath. "I should have let you do that months ago," she mumbled into my mouth when I kissed her.
I collapsed back against the opposite end of the couch, totally spent and feeling pretty damn good about myself. I started to relax when I felt Nicolle edging toward me, settling between my thighs as she reached over to swipe a little whipped cream from the bowl.
I watched in rapt fascination as she painted my bare chest with the melting cream, licking off each design as she went. "You taste so good," she hummed as she worked her way down my body.
Every nerve ending in my body was tingling in anticipation. Especially when she tugged on the waistband of my shorts and then peered up at me through a hooded gaze.
"I saw you, you know? When we were outside and you were naked."
Nicolle paused and I nodded. "And?" I whispered breathlessly as she wrapped her hand around me through my shorts.
She smiled shyly, looking away for a moment. "You...looked good. Really sexy."
My chest puffed with pride and I smiled back at her just as hard. "You know you don't have to do this. We can still wait," I offered through gritted teeth as she continued to stroke me.
"I wanna make you feel good too, baby. Will you help me...show me what to do?" she asked so innocently and honestly that I swore I had never heard anything sweeter.
I nodded once, afraid to say anything that would betray the cool façade I was trying to convey. Because the truth was, I was so eager for her that I didn't want to scare her away.
We worked together to strip me of my shorts, laughing as we did. She was so nervous as she explored my body, her fingers shaking as she touched me. I scooped a little of the whipped cream into my hand, smearing some down the length of me as I gripped myself.
Nicolle was laser focused watching my strokes until she leaned forward, kissed the tip and took over pleasuring me with her hand. The sight of her face as she watched my body react to her was priceless. Her fingers gripped me, her thumb brushing over the tip, her technique was perfect. I held her hair up, not letting it get messy as she drove me closer and closer to my own release.
I wanted it to last all night. I wanted to never forget the look on her face as she ran her fist up and down my erection, dragging the strongest orgasm out of me with hardly any warning. "Fuck," I hissed as I angled my release toward my chest. I gasped her name over and over as she pumped every last drop from me.
She watched me clean myself with my shorts. I was still sticky, but all I wanted was to wrap Nicolle up in my arms and praise her for making me feel good. I could feel her beaming as I held her.
"And you're sure I did okay?" she sighed against my neck.
"Honey, that was mind-blowing. Just the fact that you wanted to do that with me, makes me feel so damn good."
I kissed her all over her face, holding her so tightly against me. "I love you."
My chest constricted when I realized I had said it out loud. I'd been saying it to her in my head for weeks now, but too afraid to verbalize it with words. "Nicolle?" I prodded, afraid of her response, but more afraid she wouldn't have one.
I sighed when I realized she had drifted off to sleep. I had dodged the bullet. I didn't want her to think that doing these kinds of physical things with me was why I loved her.
I wanted to tell her, but not like this. Not in the heat of the moment or when we were caught up in the afterglow. But I made a deal with myself to tell her soon. Before we went any further.
Because I do love her. And I always will.

Siren!Taeil: Eye of the Beholder {1}
Tumblr media
CHAPTER ONE // NEXT
❃ Taeil didn’t know which was worse: being a male in a family of purely female sirens or being a rare phenomenon in a group of ‘normals’. He never had it easy growing up and going against everything which makes a siren didn’t make it any easier. He would always be thankful for that fateful day when Angel!Taeyong saved him. However when a certain individual puts all of N City on their toes as they’re a risk to another citizen’s life, why can’t Taeil feel nothing except sympathy towards her instead of the hatred the other’s hold? ❃

"Taeil," Taeyong gently shook the older brother and gave him a warm smile as his tired eyelids fluttered open. "You can go to bed now. Y/N's asleep, I've got everything under control."
He quickly checked on your sleeping figure in the infirmary bed. He didn't know how long he was out but he was certain that you were awake the last time he saw you. Slowly he stood up, giving a small thanks to Taeyong before leaving the infirmary room. He wouldn't go to bed, he didn't need to, all he did need was some fresh air and thinking time.
Quietly, avoiding waking up any of the other residents, he made his way through the dimly lit corridors until finding the back door. Sliding it open carefully he tiptoed out, allowing the cool midnight breeze to blow on his face. It was a quick walk to the lake. Well it was more of a stream really.
As he reached the water's edge he finally sat down with the grass underneath him, occasionally the wind would move the grass in such a way that it'd dance in between his fingers, lightly tickling him. He had an urge to shift into his siren form but decided against it, knowing the younger boys they're probably spying on him right now from their bedroom windows.
He brought his head down to the grass and lay there, silently. The grass moulded underneath him, leaving his temporary mark into the land. He could hear the lake gently lapping against the bed, running further and further upstream. There was probably a river somewhere nearby, acting out as a branch into the wide and vast ocean.
Ocean. That word alone reminded him of...home. Could he really call it a home though?
It always surprised him how he even managed to survive. No one had realised he was different until he was six, when sirens get their human form. His once loving family turned on him just like that. Why? He was a young boy, not a girl.
He had loved where he lived. The small, grassy cove reached out onto the beach. The grass had a different feel to the one that grew at N City, it was more...rough. Pretty much summed up his whole childhood. At first it'd start with the girls his age, pushing and shoving. As soon as Taeil retaliated though that's when the older sirens began to torture him.
They left scars but they were easy to hide with clothes, he couldn't say the same for his siren form. That's why he refuses unless necessary, he doesn't need his friends to see him like that.
"Taeil hyung!" A young voice yelled out, his feet flattening the grass beneath each stride. This was someone who didn't care if he woke others. Donghyuck. "What are you doing out here?"
Taeil quickly wiped a stray tear and lifted himself up from the ground. Donghyuck bounded into him, wrapping his arms around his elder brother. He awkwardly returned the affection, he himself wasn't much of a skinship person.
"It's cold out here," Hyuck shivered as he pulled away. Taeil noticed he was barefoot and only wearing shorts with a thin, white shirt.
There was a moment of silence between the two. A chilling breeze blew passed them both, pinching their revealed skin. Hyuck quickly brought his hands to his upper arms and rubbed in a sad attempt to warm himself up.
"You didn't need to come out," Taeil eventually smiled and brought an arm around Hyuck's shoulders. "I was just getting some air before going to bed but let's get inside now. You're right, it's freezing."
Maneuvering back into the mansion Hyuck looked up in awe at Taeil. He didn't say anything, he knew Taeil wouldn't talk about this stuff with him but he had so much hurt in his eyes, so much pain, yet kept it inside and kept being his jokey self. Much like himself. He admired Taeil for that.
After walking Hyuck back up to his room which he shared with Jaemin and Renjun Taeil finally collapsed into his bed. He had to resist the urge not to run back to your infirmary room and go to bed in the chair again, just so he could be there for her when she woke up. Maybe he was being too attentive though so he decided against it, he didn't want to give others the wrong idea.
Settling down under his duvet and forcing his past memories out of his mind Taeil was finally able to sleep. Before he was completely gone a small smile sketched onto his features as a quick image of you fluttered through his mind. You were sleeping, safe and sound in the infirmary two floors below him, a smile which mirrored his own blessing your delicate features.

"TAEIL GET UP WE NEED YOU!" A series of knocks hammered at his door as various voices yelled his name. As of yet he was in no real hurry to get up, usually when this happened -and it tended to happen a lot in a house with the devil himself in it- there ended up being no real threat but instead a cream pie waiting to smack him in the face.
"TAEIL IT'S Y/N!"
Now he was up. If his fate did end up being a cream pie then he can bet that whoever the pranker was would soon become the prankee.
Dashing into your infirmary room with a sense of urgency he immediately went to your side. You were out cold, pale and seemingly unresponsive.
Taeil's eyes scanned the faces which accompanied him in the room: Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun and ... Mingcheng. Quickly doing a body scan of the latter he released a sigh of relief- she was carrying no weapons and she didn't seem triumphant. Always a good sign.
"Taeyong what happened? How did her vitals drop so drastically you told me she was doing fine!" Taeil questioned, he knew he should have never left your side, screw the attentive nonsense he would've been there for you when you needed him most.
"Her heart and breathing rate dropped after another... episode. We've put her on oxygen but we aren't medics Taeil, this type of healing is beyond my powers. I heal bones. Not curses," Taeyong said sternly, not appreciating Taeil's seemingly ungrateful tone.
He took note of the oxygen mask and evaluated your chest movements, not quite how he'd like it but assumed it was an improvement.
Suddenly a pang of realisation hit him, how he had forgotten the most important piece of information he didn't know. "Episode? Is Nev okay, what happened?"
"About time grandpa. She's fine, shaken up but fine. Your little friend here tried to kill her she's lucky she-"
"She tried to kill her Taeyong? But I thought she was bed ridden," it was more of a observation than a question, although he failed to observe the very obvious glares which Mingcheng was shooting through him.
"Did he just interrupt me?" She hissed to her mate, Jaehyun, evidently pissed off.
"He's on edge babe-" "He'll be on the edge of my foo-"
"Jaehyun. Mingcheng. Please go check on Nev and Leon, shoot I should really check on Leon...Taeil, could you give me a second? Come on you two," Taeil just nodded, not watching the three of them leave and not giving Doyoung much of his attention either. His full focus was on you, this wasn't the secure figure he pictured last night, no this was the exact opposite.
There was a gentle silence which occasionally was interrupted by the sound of the heart monitor. Every time a sharp 'beep' pierced through the air Taeil would look up and check your heart rate, noting down if there was an improvement or not every time mainly for his own sanity. He was so absorbed in...You, that he forgot about Doyoung who was sat on the chair opposite the bed, checking out his older brother's behaviour and gentleness regarding you.
"Why do you like her so much?" He suddenly questioned, cocking on eyebrow in a way which Taeil couldn't stand, as if Doyoung had just figured out his entire life story by watching him for five minutes.
"I have no clue what you're on about," Taeil dismissed by shaking his head. "Who's Leon?"
"Just some Lion girl who's been stabbed or shot can't remember the exact details, brought some half wolf dude with her or something too. Now answer my question." Doyoung leaned back in his chair now, his long legs outstretched across the floor.
"You should really pay attention to the people Taeyong saves. Maybe then people will like you?" Taeil sniped back, mimicking his younger brother's actions as he leant back in his chair. Debating whether to stretch out his legs too he decided against it, he was much smaller than Doyoung and didn't need to prove it.
"What's the point? They looked like a total mad show anyway. I don't waste my breath on obviously crazy people."
"Yet you ended up living with sixteen of them, now more if you count the mates. You should loosen up, you're stressed," Taeil smiled as Doyoung chuckled to himself. He had got him there, the residents at N CITY were far from sane.
"I should say the same for you hyung, you should let us in and not push us away when we ask you stuff," now Doyoung had evened out the score. Taeil couldn't think of a reply and the sharp 'beep' of your machine left him unable to think straight anyway as he quickly noted down the results.
"I'm gonna check on Lion Girl and Wolf Boy, call us if anything happens okay?"
Taeil just nodded in response, "see you wizard boy," he smirked as the door clicked behind Doyoung as he left him by himself with you by his side.
He liked the thought of that, you standing by his side, just the thought of you standing without needing support made him happy.
He wanted you to be happy but this was just the sympathy talking... right?
