Imagine Derek and Stiles running a sanctuary for “scary, difficult, and aggressive” dogs and they just turn in huge puppies around Stiles. Derek trains them and makes sure that they can be adopted, whiles stiles just plays/cuddles them. He also likes to take them on his runs and he just has all these big scary looking dogs protecting him. They have more than once stopped someone from hurting stiles, but Derek is always the scariest looking one, whether he’s in his human form or full shift form.

That's so much of the reasoning behind Sun/Moon staying with Y/N. Could you imagine being an all-powerful demon who can kill with a single strike and this human, this dastardly human, looks at you and says "I'll protect you" and acts on their word?

And Y/N, sweet, cryptid hunter!Y/N, who knows when something is good and kind and doesn't want to hurt them, and wants to protect everyone as best as they can, sees an abandoned animatronic and decides "they're not staying here to rot, I'll take care of them."

I am obsessed with the lestappen Kings au and started writing soms parts before I forget lol, so enjoy this:

Max laid on his side, arms crossed over his chest and his legs tucked up slightly. He looked far from kingly like this, he was aware of that, but he was too tired to care and just wanted to be comfortable.

He worried. About his kingly duties, about how his life would change, and about how he was perceived - how he wanted to be perceived.

"My King?" Charles's soft voice sounded. "Are you alright?" He added when Max stayed silent.

"I'm fine, go to sleep." Max rasped. He felt and heard Charles shuffle around behind him, huffing a bit. Then, soft, warm hands touched his back softly, gauging his reaction. Max held very still, but didn't shake them off. The hands moved until one elegant arm was throwing over Max's side, and a warm body pressed up against his back.

"Is this okay?" Charles asked, his voice so close now, warm breath grazing Max's ear. Max made a noncommittal sound, not trusting his voice, but laid a hand over Charles's to keep him in place.

He couldn't remember the last time he had been hugged.

Imagine Derek and stiles going out but stiles just thinks they’re hanging out and one time someone asks Derek out and he’s like sorry I’m with my boyfriend and when they leave Derek asks if it’s okay that he said boyfriend, as in “is it okay that I called you my boyfriend, it’s not too soon?” And stiles takes it as “I just wanted an excuse cause I have bad luck dating” and months go by stiles and Derek still “hang out” and stiles is dying inside cause he’s in love with Derek and thinks they’re just friends. Until finally stiles can’t take it anymore and says that he likes Derek and wants to go out with him. Derek tells him that they’ve been dating for weeks, and that they’re boyfriends. And stiles is like huh? Cause they don’t hold hands or even kiss and Derek tells him it’s cause anytime he tries stiles’ heart sound like he’s going into cardiac arrest so Derek backs off. And stiles thinks back to those time cause he remembers thinking that it looks like derek is gonna kiss him so he freaks out, but derek diverts every time.
