Archer and Harper dislike each other mostly because they reacted to trauma in exact opposite ways. Archer is antisocial and rude and always assumes people are going to hurt him, and Harper sees him as making an effort to be a jerk, because he masks constantly, so it's clearly not that hard! And Harper is people-pleasing and constantly seems happy and attention seeking. And Archer looks at him and thinks he's annoying, and conceited, and plastic.

Spoilers for the first session of Pirates SMP!!

I have a few schools of thought about the purple stuff in Pirates SMP

1) Its some sort of "natural" corruption that's taking over the ocean, one island at a time. Similar to the sickness in Moana.

2) Its artificially placed there by some sort of higher power, be it the Watchers (which I doubt is the actual intention but I fully expect it will be swung that way for lore purposes) or entities of a similar vein to the Watchers.

There seems to be a small precedent for the corruption feeding off emotion, specifically hunting out negative emotions. Which admittedly does lean into Martyn's Watcher lore a bit. I noticed in the cutsceen of Aimsley's "falling" that the sounds used to lure Aimsley in is crying, and that crying has Aimsley worked into a worried/panicked frenzy trying to find the source.

From there let's look at Cruppy (or whatever that thing's name is), it's first appearance had people cooing over it, which it seemed to have enjoyed, but the only person it follows around? Martyn. As he's angrily warning everyone to keep their distance, it seems to latch on to him in an attempted to bring even more negative emotions to the surface.

I am more inclined by the idea of the entities than the idea of the corruption being from a natural source. It fits with Gruqqie's death better as well. Those men with the golden sails and hooded robes are maybe members of a cult of the entity or something similar.

On todays twitter recap we have people being annoying to an “everyone but Dream artist” - who happened to “replace” Dream in a fanart of gnf and Sapnap at the hospital, which is weird because it’s similar to dreams story but not the end of the world.

Like please Twitter Dream fans please learn that just because someone is uncomfy or wary it does not equal hate - it could be but it’s not something that must be true and it’s very likely somewhere in the muddy gray area especially for pre-existing fans, and demanding people tell you where they sit is no different then what sbi fans did to Aimsley and planned to do to others.

Also it started from an account that I haven’t seen active in awhile and they came back with such toxic energy 💀💀 like smiletwt was improving in that department I do not want them to start up the “24 and on twitter” tweets again.. they can stay priv where they have been lurking.

i think people made too big of a deal over it but i also find that artist annoying for other reasons so like. i'm not gonna defend them but i also think the fandom could stand to chill tf out and just ignore ppl sometimes

He was just as loud as I had been warned he was :D

The entire time we were talking (he was insistent on showing me down the prime path) he had a kick me sign on his back, I'm like 80% sure Ran put it there. Everytime I tried to bring it up Ran would shush me and say it was funny.

Aimsley-Lily & Callianore [Emily^2]

Emily [Canon-verse, later Callianore] doesn't know about Central. She only has one short contact when she is thrown into an alternative universe where everything feels slightly /of/, and she thinks she saw Cal and Gilliane kiss but then why do they act like nothing new is happening- and then she's collected by Central and meets Aimsley, who she switched with, and they switch back. She sometimes hears from Aimes from then on.

In Aimsley's universe, her biological mother Nora died, Cal and Gilliane are together, she calls Gil 'mum', Nora was mom [or the other way around]. She has had contact to central because her 'verse is on the edge of a splitter (but believed to be safe). She and other children are read into Central systems as a safety mechanism. When something malfunctions, she switches bodies with the other Emily- wakes up with Gilliane looking at her in concern and barely reacting when she calls her 'mum', instead getting her birth mother- who is alive. Aimes freaks. She's glad to switch back. Still, later she's curious about that other her, and they stay in contact, develop a sort-of friendship or sisterly feelings for each other. They even switch back and forth on purpose a few times for silly things like exams.

When Aimsley's universe does fall after all- an aftereffect of the old splitter'verse and a wave created by a new one further back- she just wants to leave, but she is too in shock to activate the system properly. Then something happens- she switches, into the body of the other Emily.

She can't believe it. She hadn't meant for this to happen. Aimsley thinks she killed Emily. Forced her soul into the fallen universe, obliterated her existence.

In her new home [canon-verse], Aimsley falls into a deep depression. She has no means to contact Central, as Emily had not been in contact with them. After a while, she accepts that this will be her forever home, and she asks her father and Gillian to call her Lily- a distinction to Emily who is now gone, but closer to it than Aimsley. A believable abbreviation (she herself got the nickname as a toddler from pronouncing Emily wrong, but that's not so believable now).

Victoria finds her- confused to find Aimsley there. She tells her that she is called Lily now and asks V to log it as her central name. Vicky logs it as an extra, not a replacement. Aimes/Lily asks whether Emily is alive- that, if she isn't, she's going to stay in her place. Vicky says she has no idea, many survivors have been spread across different safe spaces, it could take years to find Emily. Aimsley is secretly convinced that Emily didn't make it out. She doesn't need to voice that thought for V to know that something is wrong, and finally Aimes tells her that it was her who switched bodies in the last second because she wanted to get away, but she swears she didn't plan to kill Emily. Vicky tells her that whatever happened isn't her fault and that she should consider leaving as her current depressed state means that the way she's living right now isn't good for her. Aimesly refuses and Victoria sends her to therapy.

Aimsley gets better. She knows that the Cal of this universe isn't her real father, but he is as good as, and adopted kids are okay too, right? She also accepts and even starts to like Nora, even though she looks through her intrigues a lot easier than Emily ever did. She also looks through Cal's bullshit- and is shocked to see how nasty he can be to Nora. These two really bring out the worst in each other. Aimes tries to push Cal and Gilliane together, and she thinks she partly succeeds, but the two officially just stay friends and business partners and are only together as a couple or friends with benefits on and off. Still 'Lily' manages to properly make friends with Gilliane, and after a while it's easier to stop herself from refraining to her as mum and just enjoy the time they spend together.

A year later- Lily celebrated her sixteenth birthday just over a week ago- Callianore shows up. She's twenty-three now, and she didn't come alone.
