So I want to say that I can't help but believe that part of the reason Ai made Imposter Akira, Imposter Ryuji, Imposter Ann, and Imposter Morgana is out of a morbid curiosity to see how they'd react upon learning that they were never the real ones; she probably even went so far as to go into a random Persona universe to possibly gather a bit of essence from their real counterparts in order to make them - the fakes - as accurate to the real ones, which may or may not also include them inheriting their real selves' memories too.
I don't know why tbh. I just can't shake this feeling that's part of the reason for why she made them.
That'd be a good existensial reason, and although that'd be a bonus reaction, the real reason is cuz these are characters Ai and Beat-Z have interacted with before (or at least heard of them). Ai can't create beings without having some sort of reference point, so she's referencing people from the various verses they've been in

How can you make Cawl "better" Say another techpriest does some wacky stuff that changed the lore. How woudl you write it?

If they absolutely had to have him make his primaris marines and his automatic plasma weapons and his funny AI, fine. GW wants to sell minis and those things alone place him around the intelligence level of someone like Amar fucking Astarte. That is a huge compliment. That is insanely impressive and still actively undoes like half the Imperium's tech shortcomings via a series of illogically "secret" tech advancements.
What they shouldn't have done. What they couldn't help but do, right, is have the overlong slab of plot devices show off how smart he is by diminishing other factions. Why is he able to reverse-engineer the Pharos device? Why should he know where all the blackstone is? Why should he know how to jailbreak scarabs and modify engrams, one of the single most advanced pieces of tech in the entire fucking setting?
If GW must have someone's early-era ff.net OC clogging up the setting, he would be massively improved by actively showing that he doesn't understand xenos technology, and that he realises his lack of comprehension is a frustration and a problem that cannot be brute forced. That he must further commit heresy by engaging in diplomacy with them, and he's not good at it. Give him a shred of depth. Make him a character. As it stands, he is the narrative equivalent of a person whose entire personality trait is "I need everyone to know I am smart and they are not", except he's being constantly rewarded for it.
Fabius Bile is a thousand times better than Cawl because he's limited, despite his intellect. His reincarnation process is endlessly flawed. He's only as good as he is because he had to go and learn from the Drukhari, who he still acknowledges are smarter than him. He has to fight for quality resources, for gene-seed, for access to materials, for his authority. He has to bargain and trade. He has to do things involving Eldar without understanding them, to his aggravation and intrigue. His brilliance at cloning keeps biting him in the ass. He's interesting because of that constant challenge.

Celestine is a counter guardian if that still works in the Grim Dark Future, fuck knows what class
Yarrick is warped by the Ork’s belief field; unorthodox class, legend of Dracula sort of thing, who knows
Turns out Goge Vandire was a sympathetic saberface a la Nero, you just know that’s the sort of thing they would do
No most space marines are not able to be heroic spirits/servants, nor even most custodes. The Primarchs are (or are some sort of chaos equivalent I can’t be bothered to remember the complex lore). Robby and Lion can be temp-summoned before zapping back into stasis like Artoria supposing this is before M42
The bananas are the sort of guys where the narrator goes “oh no! Each of these soldiers is as powerful as a servant!” and one duels a character or two in single combat, but then later you cut through em in a dramatic fight. Space marines range from ‘powerful enemies most humans can’t handle and need their servant to fight seriously’ all the way up to that sort of ‘can take a servant/HS on defensively or if their personal abilities cause a good matchup’ tier that bazett and ciel used to be in
Sigismund is a Heroic Spirit though, as are the Legion of the Damned. Ditto Valdor if he’s actually dead. Dante should be but he is, of course, somehow still alive. Also Kesh as an Assassin just to annoy people. Her Noble Phantasm is Bomb

Creed brings the souls of everyone who died at Cadia like a futuristic Ionioi Hetairoi
Cain is either an Assassin who can act like a Saber through skill and slipperiness a bit like Kojiro, or a Saber relying almost entirely on the class attributes and panicking under the surface. Either way his NP involves Jurgen’s melta.
Xenos entries include Farsight (any one of Saber, Archer, Rider, Shielder or maybe even Berserker) or they would except he isn’t dead. Aun’va, who is deader than a doornail, is either an unorthodox Caster with illusion AIs and super-charisma or a Ruler with much the same.
Zandrekh, who is kind of dead, shows up with his Command Barge as a Rider. Orikan is a Caster ofc. Eldrad would be too but I have no idea what he’s up to
Trazyn is very noticeably not a servant but he does end up with command seals and summons one

Ok I feel bad for admitting this but I can actually relate a tiny bit to Ai's curiosity over the Symbol Punks. There's a big difference of course and it's normal for a writer to always wonder how certain characters might react, how far would they go before it's too much for them, and so on, but still couldn't help but feel a little bad for that 😂
But of course, because it's all negative emotions, and some things are better left unknown in order to be a decent human being
Ai, however, is not. The Punk Leaders are strong on their own, but when giving that traitor a hand just to see how it'd go, and seeing how FURIOUS Pachinko got? There's no turning back now
