Ninjago - Their Favorite Places to Kiss You

Nya

Hands!!

She loves how convenient it is, particularly when you’re already holding hands

Like, you guys will just be chilling or walking along, and she’ll quickly bring your hand to her lips and give it a quick kiss before lowering it again

If you glance over at her after, you’ll see a contented smile on her face

That smile will be complimented with a subtle blush if you kiss her hand back

Though those casual kisses are her favorite, she also likes more intimate ones

I can see her gently rubbing her thumb over your knuckles while she brings your hand to her lips, kissing each joint and knuckle slowly and deliberately

If she’s feeling extra mushy she’ll move on to your face, peppering it with kisses as well

Her kisses are sooo soft man,,, you already know she uses the nicest smelling chapstick

AND the prettiest lipstick

You’ll get little colored marks if she’s applied it recently, which she always giggles at

Jay

Shoulders/neck!

It’s the warmth of your skin that draws him in

He likes to just rest his chin on you, taking in your warmth

Then he’ll give you a kiss right on your shoulder, prolonging the contact as long as possible

He just loves the feeling of that soft warmth on his face

And he’ll breathe in your scent, humming dreamily with a deep inhale

He’ll be slow with his kisses, with long gaps between them

He slowly follows your collarbone up to your neck

He’ll rest his cheek against your neck, feeling your pulse against his cheekbone

He reserves these moments for when you’re alone, of course

Bro might be clingy but he does have some dignity

In public the most he’ll do is lean down to give your shoulder a quick kiss from behind, usually when he thinks no one is looking

Just a quick hit of that addictively soft warmth

(And I am so sorry but there is only about a 40% chance that his lips aren’t going to be chapped, he does NOT know what chapstick is)

Cole

Top of your head :)

I headcanon him to be super tall, so it’s pretty easy for him to reach the top of your head

Even if you are taller than him though, he still loves nothing more than to plant a kiss up there

It makes him feel protective over you :)

He especially loves to do this when you’re cuddling; you’ll be laying on him with your head on his chest and he’ll just crane his neck a bit to kiss you

He likes how noninvasive it is; if you’re sleeping, he can do it without waking you, and if you’re just chilling, he can do it without bothering you

Sometimes he’ll even just kiss you as he walks by, stooping down for a half second and walking away like nothing happened

If you have hair, he’ll pretend he got it stuck on his lips when he’s feeling silly

He’ll just start going “pteh! Ppphhh!!!” after smooching you

It makes you both laugh every time :)

If you’re bald he’ll pat your head so it makes a smacking noise while he kisses you

He just goes “smack and smack” (“smack” as in hit and “smack” as in kiss)

He has one tube of chapstick that’s lived in his pocket for literal years; he only uses it when he remembers it exists (which is kinda rare)

But our boy stays hydrated, so dw about his lips ever being chapped 💪

Kai

Ya mouth

It’s very intimate, which he likes :)

He’ll wrap his arms around you while he kisses you, holding you close to deepen the kiss

But he also likes quick little pecks that hardly last a second

He uses those as casual greetings/goodbyes

He saves the more passionate kisses for more meaningful occasions

Like if you’ve been apart for a long time or it’s a holiday or a sweet moment

He has so many tubes of chapstick

Ever since he started dating you he got self-conscious about having chapped lips, so he ALWAYS has to have at least one with him at all times

If he forgets, he just buys another (hence the ridiculous amount he owns)

And when he gets a new one, he likes to see if you can guess the flavor ;)

Like the chapstick challenge from like 2017 (I am so sorry but I don’t know the exact year 😭)

And he can always tell when you’re trying a new chapstick

He knows all your chapsticks by heart

Zane

Forehead!

To him it’s like he’s kissing your mind, which he loves

He thinks you’re brilliant <3

And he knows that the personality is mainly sourced in the brain

So, to him, he’s kissing the your essence

It’s very meaningful

But it’s also just more convenient; he’s also super tall

And it’s less awkward

He’s a little shy when it comes to physical affection, but a forehead kiss is just casual enough for him :)

When he is feeling especially touchy, though, he’ll put a hand on the back of your head and hold your head against his shoulder after he kisses you

His lips are literally never chapped

But sometimes he puts on chapstick anyway, just to be safe

It’s always just plain; no flavors for him

But sometimes he asks to try out your flavored chapstick (indirect kiss!??!! 🤯)

Lloyd

Eyelids!

He kisses you so gently

He’ll hold your face still with his hands, slowly drawing you closer to ensure that he hits the mark

He’d hate to screw it up; he knows that eyes are not exactly resistant to pressure

So, even though it makes him a little nervous, he’ll always take the time to kiss you softly right on your eyelids

Maybe it’s the necessary softness that makes it so special for him

I think that sometimes he’s a little afraid of his own power, so being gentle like that is therapeutic for him

He feels like it’s proving to you (and himself) that he can be gentle when he wants

He strictly uses those chapsticks that are supposed to be flavored like candy/soda

But only the ones that are ACTUALLY sweet

Good stuff only

It motivates him to use them more often, so his lips are always soft :)

And they smell nice too

This is an AU I've been working on, I will actually work on it on writting ( on AO3 ) instead of making a comic/manga because I tend to procastinate when it comes to drawing panels ( if you have been keeping up with other pojects of mine you would know this), hopefully I will keep this updated.

Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon

Age- 1000+ (immortal) Height: 5'8 (1,73m)

Lloyd has lived many years, of course, now he's immortal, he doesn't have much of a choice but to continue living on. He was many things throughout his life: a bratty child, a son, a master, a hero and now he's nothing more than a myth, while still a part of ninjago history many actually question if he ever really existed or not. He ostracized himself from society for a reason, after all,- it's painfull to make relationships when they are so short lived. He is considered a god by many, but he denies that being the case, maybe the embodiment of the balance between good and evil but he wont try to call himself anything more. Lloyd now lives with the spirits of his family with the occasional visits from Morro and Garmadon, his father.

Jay Walker

Age- 1000+ (spirit) Died at 115 Height: 5'10 (1,78m) Status: Nya's husband

He was a man of the spotlight, he shined brithly- TV shows, TheyTube channels, he was knowed worldwide. Not that he minds the retirement, he lived his life; he had two beautiful twins with the love of his life, Nya. He died happy, even if he was the last one to die, 3 years after Nya had passed. His last years were spent with Lloyd. In his many years in the Ninja team, he's come to realise he doesn't exactly have the same type of strengh like the others so he created a different weapon one that creates iron alloy strings, that resemble spider webs. He also practiced racing with his wife in his free time and created all kinds of machines and weapons which ranged from house equipment to ninja tech, like mechs, weapons and transport.

Kai Smith

Age- 1000+ (spirit) Died at 95 Height: 6'2 (1,88m) Status: Skylor's husband and Nya's bio brother

Kai was a little bit of an influencer in his younger years, but as the years went by he settled more into being a family man with his wife Skylor and his little girl. How did he become a spirit? Well it was his idea; well his plan was to become immortal like Lloyd but he was intersected by Morro, so he opted for the second best option: giving his powers to Lloyd, so even if he was dead he would be with Lloyd through his power; what wasn't part of the plan was he actually becoming part of Lloyd as a spirit, not that he is complaining, he got what he wanted in the end; and since he was the one that piched the idea to the ninja, he just involved them all into the mad plan- one that Lloyd was unaware of. He trully is a mad man, no one, and I mean, no ONE, puts themselves between him and his family, the last person who did so, is no longer amoung us, the last thing they saw was Kai becoming a demonic ball of flames.

Nya Smith Walker

Age- 1000+ (spirit) Died at 112 Height: 6'0 (1,83m) Status: Jay's wife and Kai's bio sister

Nya, famous racer, only had to step down from the hobbie/carrer when she got into a small accident, while she wasn't gravelly wounded that was enough for her to be proibited from competitive racing. From that day on she still raced but became more of an idol than a racer per say. She ended up working on engineer projects, solo or with Jay, mostly out of boredom. Now, since she is dead, she has more free time than ever, and uses it to learn and explore every digital corner of the internet, catching a few criminals in the way. Many say she is mystical and her strengh is as crushing as the waves in a storm can be, yet calm and relaxing as the days in the beach, others, like the Ninja themselves just see her as they're beloved sister.

Cole Brookestone

Age- 1000+ (spirit) Died at 87 Height: 6'8 (2,03m) Status: Vania's husband

Cole, King of the Kingdom of Shintaro, Husband of Queen Vania, father of the prince of Shintaro, and our beloved cake lover, sadlly passed away early, well earlier than his siblings at least, the unknowed illness that had taken the life of his mother had decided to claim another. Cole fell gravelly ill, bedridden in his late stages of life. Bedridden in the castle, he invited Lloyd over for most possibly a final goodbye, although he didn't think that Lloyd would stay around the whole time it wasn't completly unexpected, right there he was the first one to execute Kai's plan, and the first to discover the side effects of the plan; from then on he was part of Lloyd and made sure to let the others know of the end result.

Zane Julien

Age- 1000+ (nindroid) Height: 7'0 (2,13m) Status: P.I.X.A.L's husband

Caretaker of the rest of the Ninja team and their children, especially since those little kids sure liked uncle Lloyd a whole lot and would visit constently. He stayed with Lloyd in the monastery alongside P.I.X.A.L and Morro (who visits soo much he pretty much lives there, has a room and everything). Him and Lloyd share house chores, and Zane is in charge of looking at news around ninjago, to ensure it's safety, as well as helping in some researches since Lloyd is only one person and can only intake soo much information at a time. He is the only one that hasn't partaken in Kai's plan, since there is literally no reason to, Zane obviously doesn't die of old age, one may claim that he could possible get rusty and need repairs at some point but Lloyd and P.I.X.A.L are always around is any issue is to come.

==✿ADDITIONAL INFORMATION✿==

The Ninja team, many years after most of the team's death, has move the location of the monestary far away from the main ninjago island, and instead now lives in a far away island that Lloyd created west of Ninjago city, around the middle of Ninjago and the dark island (thats has been sealed away by Lloyd). The reason for that change is because of something rather strange, it's not just to ensure Lloyd's ever soo wished isolation but also because a merchant had attented to buy the place, with the intention of turning the monestary into a tourist attraction. Lloyd got a bit peeved and decided to pick up the mountain where the monestary was on top of and relocated it;

The only reason the Jay was living with Lloyd in his last moments, was because he genuenly belived he would miss the mark to execute Kai's plan, because he belives himself to be quite clumsy and distracted; either way he didn't miss it and now is with the rest of the team (which is a way to say that he can now torment the Ninja forever);

Lloyd has a cute nickname for all the Ninja's kids, and spoiled them to no end (he is the fun uncle who takes everyone to Disneyland), he calls Kai's daugther "munchkadee", Jay and Nya's twins has "Starlight" and "Moonlight" for the girl and boy respectively, and Cole's son is "Duckling";

the age diference of the Ninja are, from youngest to oldest: Lloyd - Nya - Jay - Kai - Cole - Zane ( to say, with maybe the idea of the 1 season, Lloyd (8->15) - Nya (15) - Jay (16) - Kai (17) - Cole (18) - Zane (30-40? he is old);

(conceivable for change) As of right now, Lloyd's power is one that could rival gods, the source of said power is something OP is still considering but the possible main reason might be related to "source dragons", has to why the other Ninja's had powers even after having kids is related to Lloyd giving them an artifact that has their specific element embodied into them (the artifacts are not phisical and can only be visualised when the Ninja have already passed, the artifact will most likely have the form of a card); (the reason of this possible change is the development of the plot of "Dragons Rising").

Ninja as influencers

My previous post got me thinking, and now I have to write this down.

Kai:

He for sure has Twitter/Chirp and uses it regularly. Very popular. He also has the ninjago equivalent to Instagram and is also very popular there, too. I could imagine him having a yt channel and doing silly vlogs and the occasional game, but that's about it. The other ninja were a bit weirded out by the vlogs at first because they didn't really want to feed into the whole idolizing the ninja thing, but realized that they could show the world that they're just. People. Normal people who save the world sometimes but are normally just passed out on the couch. They all love being in his vlogs now. When he records something embarrassing, he makes absolutely certain that the person it's of is okay with it being posted. Like, he gives them weeks to think about it. He has a video of Zane singing let it go (due to Jay's programming skills), and he was ecstatic to be able to post it. He's also a tiktok star. He does the silly dances and lip-syncing.

Nya:

She has Chirp but doesn't use it for social media purposes? If that makes sense. Like, she mainly only scrolls through her friends' chirps and responds to those. She gets into the groove and made a really sweet and chill community once the people that were only there for the "inside scoop" of the water ninja's life left. Now there's just her friends and a bunch of nice people. She comments on and rechirps? a lot of fanart, though. She has an Instagram but only to comment on Kai's posts with a thumbs down. She has a tiktok. It's secret. She posts little edits about her artwork or mechanics. It's fairly popular. She sometimes uses the filters and makes videos using them but never posts them.

Cole:

Similar to Nya, he has a Chirp account but doesn't really use it much. He'll respond to fanart and fans, but he only really posts occasionally. His posts normally consist of song recommendations or riffs of his friends. He threads callouts when he feels especially petty. It's pretty chill. He probably has a secret second account for art. He doesn't want people to like his art just because he's the earth ninja, so he made a second account. He has a tumblr too. I don't make the rules. He tries to stay in the loop with everyone's thoughts and shuts down the gross people. He's pretty well-known on the site. He likes reblogging the ship content and misdirecting people because it's funny. Pixal found him drawing techno and he scrambled for an excuse but she silently put a finger to her lip, winked, and left. He was very confused. She was absolutely dying on the inside from laughter because she knew of his account but wanted to freak him out. He couldn't look her in the eye for a week because he thought she thought he shipped them or something. She purposefully spoke to him often. He kept trying to explain, but Pixal always had an excuse to leave or change the subject before he could say it.

Lloyd:

He has Chirp. He has tumblr. He has ao3. He's not allowed on Instagram. He has a yt channel where he exclusively talks about comics and games. On his Chirp, he is completely unhinged some times, and other times, he posts cute animals he finds on missions or on patrol. He found a stray cat once and named her mittens because a follower commented it. He has #mittensmonday, where he posts a picture of her. It's always trending on Monday. His tumblr is once again about games and stuff, but he has a semi-secret side blog for Ninja Shenanigans where it's theorized that it's him, but no one has proof and he doesnt give a direct answer. He has unknowingly reblogged and messaged Cole on multiple occasions because he doesn't know about the Secret account. Cole doesn't know what to do. His ao3 account is mostly to check up on what people are thinking. If he sees something unsavory, he immediately logs off because that's him. Avid tiktok enjoyer. He could make a video of just him staring at the screen, and it would go viral. He finds it hilarious. It's his goal to find the most obscure thing to post and for it to finally not get viral.

Zane:

He has Chirp, but he hasn't used it. Either that or he uses it so terribly incorrectly. I could be convinced that he has a cooking yt channel. He'd call it something nerdy or informational, but people kept chirping about it calling him cookingmama, and he doesn't get it? But due to Jay's persistence, he changed his @ to cookingmama.

Jay:

He has Chirp. He uses it to keep up with the world + just talk to fans. He has a gaming channel and a Twitch account. He streams at least once a week. He loves it! He has a pretty chill community, and he often asks his friends to play with him. He makes sure that the games he play with them are suited to them first. He doesn't ask. He just knows. He picks action-based games for Kai - maybe LoL or, like, Left 4 dead. He plays silly smart games with Nya, like Portal or Keep talking and nobody explodes (they are ridiculously good at this). He and Cole would play scary games. They exclusively play them at night; phasmaphobia has caused many of the ninja to awaken to a shriek. Comfy and typically non-violent games are his and Lloyd's go-to. They'll play Minecraft or stardew for HOURS before they realize the sun is coming up. He and Zane play semi-stressful cooking games, or Zane is just there for commentating. They'll be seen playing overcooked or cooking simulator (they always play that one with a challenge somehow). He makes silly follower goals, and he has unfortunately had to do many, many things because his followers keep rising.

Honorary Ninja, Pixal:

She has an account for every platform that the ninja have just to crowd control + to support them in their comments. She rarely, if ever, posts anything aside from commenting on her friends' posts. Hc that Borg owns every platform, so she uses that to weed out the weirdos by asking him to make the platform very buggy on their device specifically. It's only a matter of time before they delete the app, and she loves watching the downfall via their posts and complaints about the website. She knows of everyone's account, even the Secret ones. She never lets them know that she knows of them, even if they do something strange because of it (check Cole's). She loves messing with them. If someone posts something recently, she conveniently talks about it the same day and gives them whiplash because what are the chances that she said that today. She's the go-to gal if there are any tech issues on stream or during editing.

Welp, I finished the first poll choice...

Summaries:

SDMI/FNAF: Based on this post, the gang is hired to investigate the rumors of a bunny animatronic ghost overnight. The truth is a little more tricky.

LMK: Tangled AU where Long Xiaojiao has been kept locked in a tower under the watchful eye of her “uncle” and “the Lady”, only desiring to get out and see the world, especially lanterns that appear on her birthday. However, things change when Qi Xiaotian, heir to Sun Wukong, comes looking for the missing piece of the Samadhi fire.

Scooby Doo, my incarnation: The first part of Episode 1, when trying to leave their hometown of Crystal Cove to start their second year of college, the Mystery Gang finds themselves trapped in Crystal Cove.

Poppy Playtime: The moment that the angel steps into the factory, every toy knows. Dogday, down below, hopes.

Set sometime before Agony of a Witch, Raine Whispers is sent to the weekly Coven Head meeting- which is basically just an excuse to hang out at a bar and bitch. They meet up again with Lilith, drinks are drunk, and Lilith ends up drunkenly confessing the truth about Eda’s curse to a less drunk Raine.

LMK/PP: Due to a misread address, a missent letter, and some poor decisions, Qi Xiaotian finds himself trapped in the depths of the Playtime Co. factory. But he’s not gonna let DogDay be stuck too.

@draw-of-the-moon's LMK/Ninjago AU: When Red mysteriously disappears, Long Xiaojiao and pregnant Qi Xiaotian have to beat back suitors.

LMK: The Traffic Light Trio, Sun Wukong, and Macaque are cursed to tell the truth. Harsh stuff comes out.

LMK: AU inspired by the King Thrushbeard fairytale, where Red Son refuses all suitors until his father decides to marry him off to the next peasant who walks through the door. Except Qi Xiaotian isn’t royalty, but very kind.

TMNT, my incarnation: Related to 10, but the entire first episode. When the turtles make and suddenly lose a new human friend, the four turtles (and Casey) find themselves in a hidden city.

@draw-of-the-moon’s LMK/Ninjago AU: In a daring mission to rescue their baby sibs from the underworld and Samukai, Nya and Kai both find themselves lost in the outer regions of the underworld. A lone wanderer named Azure offers to help guide them.

Random angst idea

So there is a new big villain in Ninjago that wants to cause chaos and destroy the city (really original) but, after a lot of failed atempts and strategies, the ninja realize they can't defeat them before they've already started the chaos and destruction. But the ninja have some time before that happens.

Wu then finds outs that a strange maze has reappeared after 100 years. It is said that the person who reaches the end of the maze will be granted a wish, any wish, and exactly what you want (no misinterpretations); and after the wish is granted, the maze will dissappear for another 100 years.

The ninja decide to go in the maze to use the wish to save ninjago before the destruction starts. The maze is of course really difficult to complete and filled with traps as well as having to compete with other people trying to get to the end at the same time.

As they travel the maze, some of the ninja stay behind to make sure at least one of them reaches the end and others go back home because of injuries. On the other hand, Lloyd slowly starts to get more obsessed with the idea of the wish and how he can use it to help ninjago (this caused by the idea of "being the hero" that's engraved in his head), despite the others warning him about how the maze punishes people's greed, thinking it's not greed because it's for a good cause.

When they reach the end of the maze there's only Lloyd and Kai. Lloyd gets blinded by the obsession and lets his guard down, activating accidentally a trap. Kai quickly pushes him away and recieves a fully blown explosion, ending up really badly injured.

Lloyd tries to treat his wounds while panicking before they both realize that Kai won't make it to safety alive. Kai accepts that it's his turn to sacrifice himself and says goodbye to Lloyd and that he loves him and everyone else, and begs him not to "waste" the wish on him. Lloyd doesn't say anything and watches as Kai closes his eyes and dies.

Lloyd then turns to the end and gets ready to make the wish, thinking he's the hero and his duty is to save the people; but, as his family (mostly Kai and Nya) remind him, before being the green ninja, he's Lloyd and he's not losing another brother so he choses to save Kai, meaning he and the others will have to spend the next weeks saving the city and a lot of people will die and get injured.

When they return, Kai doesn't remember much about what happened and Lloyd refuses to say what wish he made and just listens to everyone lecturing him and complaining about the work.

Three days later Kai remembers everything and gets really angry at Lloyd for doing the one think he ask him not to do because he can't process the idea of his life being as important as the city. He faces Lloyd and punches him but Lloyd doesn't move and states that he didn't save his life for Kai but because he still needed him and couldn't lose one of the people he loves the most, his reason and wish were completely selfish and he doesn't regret it at all.

As Kai walks away to calm down, Lloyd tells him to look him in the eyes and tell him that if the roles were reversed he wouldn't have done the same. Kai doesn't turn around because he knows he can't deny it.

Once they know the truth the rest of the team is understanding and some of them (mostly Nya) agree with him and are grateful he made that choice.

my Ninjago headcanons!!!!

Kai

• Is TikTok famous. He likes to put his camera in everyone’s face while they do normal everday things then says “ooh this is perfect, everyone will love this!!” and then everyone does love it.

• Spends most of his time trying to annoy his teammates. He finds it funny how easily Nya gets ticked off, so he annoys her most often. ex) going into her room and just singing really loud.

• Thinks Tarayummy is his soulmate. He sits in his room in the dark and just watches her videos. He has a hatred for every man she has ever talked to.

Nya

• Says she hates dressing up/wearing dresses, but at night she secretly puts on pretty ball gowns she hides in boxes in her closet. (I do this)

• Loves art, but she mostly paints. She picked it up after seeing the paintings Jay did after seabound. He taught her a lot of it.

• Anytime she sees a friend or someone she knows out in public she has to talk to them. It’s like when you were little and your mom/dad saw someone at the store and they just had to talk to them forever. She does that.

Zane

• There’s a desk in his room with the most random junk on it. He doesn’t even know where most of it came from. This junk varies from model airplanes to defused pipe bombs.

• He’ll give himself weird accents sometimes. If he’s bored he will just put on a new accent and talk to the others to see their reactions. One time he did a Russian accent that scared Jay so much he peed his pants.

• He could watch those videos of dancing fruit for hours. He just loves brain rot, and that’s okay because it keeps him busy.

Cole

• Religiously watches edits of himself of TikTok. Once he accidentally reposted one and everyone lost their mind.

• Thinks Halo by Beyoncé is the greatest song ever written. It’s the only song he will sing in front of other people and he will put his whole heart and soul into it every time.

• Likes to skateboard, but doesn’t have enough time. He thought it would be a fun hobby to pick up before he was a ninja and actually got really good at it. He isn’t as good now, but he can still do some tricks.

Jay

• This man is so zesty oh my god. Everyone in Ninjago thought he was gay until he got together with Nya. There are still people who think it’s all just an act to cover it up.

• If this guy sees a river he is getting in. It doesn’t matter if it’s 10 or 80 degrees, this man is ready to jump in any river he sees. He tries to get everyone else to join, but they aren’t as stupid (except Cole who obviously has to join him)

•Watches Instagram reels instead of TikTok. He thinks they’re funnier, and Kai thinks that it’s the funniest thing in the world and never shuts up about it.

Lloyd

• A lot of people think this, but I think that he bleach’s his hair. He doesn’t want to look anything like his dad, and he thinks his dark hair makes him look evil.

• Also likes art, but mostly draws. He likes to do art with Nya, but picked it up when he was younger. He used to make his own comic books about the ninja in S1.

• Wants to be a theater kid so bad, but he has to focus on his ninja work. He’s made everyone watch Hamilton at least 5 times (so far).

Ninjago writers: No you forgot we hate Zane, Zane sucks, Zane is so insignificant everyone only remembers him for being “the robot” no one knows anything about Zane as a person, he’s not viewed as a person. He’s nothing but the Titanium Ninja, the robot. The ice machine.

He’s so worthless that even standing beside DRAWINGS of his own face— people still don’t recognise him.

Watch as we switch gears from physically abusing Zane, to emotionally abusing him and completely destroying any sense of self worth he still had.

How can one show give me so much serotonin but also make me so angry at the same time. For the love of god why can’t you treat Zane like a normal person? Why can’t you let him be happy? Definitely getting back into Ninjago… Halfway through drawing this, I got a very strong urge to write a self-indulgent fic. These goobers are slowly regaining their vice grip on my brain. I might be getting to the “Requested When Shit Was Closed” prompts soon, but big possibility. Back on task, I hope you Enjoy!

Lee: Jay

Ler: Cole

Summary: Jay’s been zapping his shipmates, sneaking in quick pokes and shockingly ticklish squeezes whenever he can. While it isn't his intention, most of those are aimed at Cole. Sick of the surprise jolts, the Earth ninja has a little vengeful fun of his own.

Warnings: none! This is a tickle fic, so if you don’t like that, scroll away!!

The ninja were peacefully relaxing on the couch, trying to unwind after a long day of battles and villain encounters. Cole was listening to music, the faint sounds of “dad rock” coming through his headphones as he rested his arms behind his head. Zane was messing around with his circuitry, and Kai was sprawled out, trying to nap.

The only one not lazing around was Jay; he had a much more mischievous way of cooling down in mind.

Sneaking up near the couch, he positioned himself right behind the relaxed Cole. Not wasting another second, he sent a very small amount of electricity to his finger tips, tasing Cole's sides before taking off. The rocky boy jolted out of his trance, a surprised laugh flying from his lips as his arms came crashing down.

“GYAH! W-whahat the hell?” When he turned around to his perpetrator, though, all he saw was a streak of blue disappear around the corner. “Zappy jerk…”

Zane chuckled, shaking his head before resuming his tinkering. Kai was still snoozing, oblivious to the world. With a huff, Cole lowered his arms, not wanting to risk another attack before relaxing again. Damn Jay's silly moods…

The whole rest of that week was full of little pokes, squeezes and zaps from the blue ninja. Whenever anyone even thought of letting their guard down, he'd be there, disappearing the moment they tried to retaliate or catch him.

Most of the team just ignored it, used to his silly behavior. Sure, it was a little annoying sometimes, but it was all in good fun. Everyone was fine with that.

Everyone except Cole.

While he loves his friend's quirks, the constant tickling was getting on his nerves. The guy wore tank-tops daily; it wasn't exactly hard for Jay to get him.

But he had a plan. One that would surely keep Jay off his back, or at least for a little while. So, sitting on the couch and sprawling out, he waited for the inevitable pokes that would seal his fellow ninja's fate.

Jay snickered as he saw his rocky friend, sprawled out and relaxing on the couch. It was too easy! He should have been suspicious, but the brain goblins were overpowering his rationality with mischief.

Creeping over to the couch, he sent small sparks to his fingers. Just a little closer…wait is he smili-

“GOTCHA!”

Before Jay could even think to run, Cole shot his hands upward, latching onto the sparky boy’s wrists and flipping him over the couch. Cole was careful not to hurt him, though the shriek Jay let out surely did some hearing damage.

He was pinned in seconds, stuck lying on his stomach with a rather intimidating man on his waist. Whatever his friend was gonna do, he literally couldn't see it coming.

Anticipatory giggles bubbled past Jay's lips, his eyes wide and giddy-looking. “C-Cole, wait! Lehet's talk about thihihis!”

Cracking his neck, Cole smirked down at his fellow ninja. “Neh, I'm good. Actions have consequences, Jay..”

Without another word, Cole dug into the sparky boy's sides, squeezing the sensitive skin. He was done with Jay's shit; it was payback time.

“Nohohoho! Cohome on, thihihis ihis mehehean!” The brat tried to wriggle out of the hold, but Cole's hands were just out of reach. The position he was in was evil: Who pins people on their stomach?!

“You know what's mean? Poking your friends when they're trying to get stuff done. I'd say you deserve this, wouldn’t you?” He smirked, scritching little lightning bolts on his sides. It was silly, sure, but he kinda asked for it.

Jay kicked his feet behind Cole, trying anything to make things tickle less. It was a fruitless effort, though: he was stuck.

“Plehehease! Ihit’s nohohot fahair!” His giggling sounded whiny, like a child throwing a tantrum.

Cole scoffed and rolled his eyes. He wants to see unfair? Cole’ll show him unfair…

Snickering, he moved up to the zappy boy’s ribs, digging in and wiggling his fingers between each bone. That should kill him.

“C-Cohohole! Grk- NOHOhohot thehere! I'M SOHAHARRY! NYAHAHAHA!” Jay lost it when Cole dug into his ribs, loud belly laughter quickly replacing his giggles. Little snorts and squeaks flowed with the laughter, only adding to the mild chaos.

“Hmhmph. Sparky brat…” Cole just chuckled smugly, continuing to torment his fellow ninja. Besides the payback, his cute reactions were well worth it.

Thrashing wildly, Jay laughed his ass off, the tickling on his worst spot driving him insane. “P-PLEHEASE! COHOHOLE! I CAHAHAN’T-” He patted his hand, palm flat against the floor.

The moment Cole saw the tapping-out, he knew it was time to quit. Pulling his hands away, he climbed off Jay. The giggly boy immediately curled up in a ball, tickle-drunk and giddy.

“You alive, sparky?” Cole asked while rubbing Jay's back, trying to calm him down. There was an air of humor in his tone, but he was trying to be nice.

Jay tried to catch his breath, his cheeks flush and his nerves buzzing. “F-fuhuck youhuhu…”

“Alright, alright. I'm done being mean.” Snorting, Cole pulled his friend up into a hug. It was clear he enjoyed the short bout of being tickled, the agitation just a facade.“Next time, try just asking for what you want, okay? I'd be happy to help~”

Blushing heavily, Jay whined, though he did relax into the hug. It was warm, nice, and calming after all the laughter. Muttering something under his breath, Jay leaned his head against Cole's chest. If he wanted to be mean, the rocky boy was gonna be a pillow.

Cole lifted him up with a huff, carrying the lightning ninja to their beds. He laid him down, cuddling up next to him and pulling a blanket over them both. It wasn't a rare sight: the ninja saw some things on missions, and physical contact helped keep them calm.

It was ten o’clock: not the latest for them, but good enough to doze off. Cole closed his eyes, feeling the warmth of his fellow ninja and the happy air in the room. Yeah, he could get used to Jay's goofy moods…

okay, people seem pretty interested in the ninjago hunger games AU, so without further ado, let me introduce the Six Forgotten Victors!

Kai Jiang, hailing from District Two, won the Hunger Games when he was 13 years old. Although his district usually volunteers with careers, nobody volunteered when his name was called. He was ranked a seven but was expected to be killed off early because of how young he was. He made a total of eleven kills in the arena.

Cole Brookstone, hailing form District Seven, won the Hunger Games when he was 15 years old. He was ranked a nine, mostly because of his physical build and the practical skills he showed off to the judges. When the games began, however, the audience found he was an expert at staying off of camera and there was rarely any footage of him. He made a single kill in the arena.

Jay Walker, hailing from District Five, won the Hunger Games when he was 15 years old. He was ranked a four and came off as very nervous and scrawny. He flat out refused his victory tour after having a nervous breakdown during his victory interview. He made a total of nine kills in the arena.

Nya Smith, hailing from District Four, won the Hunger Games when she was 16 years old. She was ranked a six and was usually overlooked before the games began. She became a source of fear in the arena because it was a water-filled arena, and she almost looked like she was controlling the water when she fought in it. She made a total of three kills in the arena.

Zane Julien, hailing from District Three, won the Hunger Games when he was 17 years old. He was ranked an eight and people liked to comment a lot on how tall he was. He was accused of using illegal technology in the arena so his victory tour was cut short. He made a total of ten kills in the arena.

Lloyd Garmadon, hailing from District One, won the Hunger Games when he was 18 years old. He was ranked an eleven because he was not only a career, but he also pulled a few stunts for the judges. People thought he went insane from dehydration in the desert arena he was placed in, but amazingly he survived. He made a single kill in the arena. the basic plot is that they were all victors, met in the Capitol, and became friends. then they all escaped to District 13 together and joined the resistance :D the Capitol didn’t want people to know they ran off so they basically tried to erase them from history, hence them being the Six Forgotten Victors :P

Ninjago has social media so why not share some headcanons

so I was chatting with a friend and this came up and I wanted to expand on it and talk about it

Basically... how the ninja interact with the canon social media. Yeah. Twitter- I mean Chirp... is a thing in Ninjago. Canonically. And then never brought up again. So uh

What better to do than explore how the Ninja's social media life is going in relation to them being celebrities. And then post it on a social media at 9 pm. Headcanons under the cutoff yayy

Ok so first off Cole because he started this mess and I want to get him out of the way because I want to get to the other's.

He's... I mean are we going to deny he's popular... He was kinda already a celebrity before becoming a Ninja thanks to his family history. Either way, he is very afraid of the omnipresent conglomorate known as a fanbase. They scare him so he just does not interact with them whatsoever, yet he still somehow manages to remain VERY popular with fans for... a variety of reasons... his lack of interaction means they feel like they can get away with a lot of things. Despite this Cole does still have exactly one active social media account and it is an anonymous (Insert Ninjagan equivalent to Instagram here) where he quite literally just posts art randomly and daily and says absolutely nothing. By anonymous, I mean he pretty much just has an online name and profile picture that he made up that has no connections to his personal life or being a ninja. The other Ninja are aware he has an art account, but not of the name or any other details, so they've made a secret game out of finding his social media identity. It remains yet to be found, which is either a relief, to Cole (though he isn't even aware of it) or sad, to the people who are betting on it.

Lloyd!! Little candy loving goblin man!!! Lloyd is awesome I want to draw him more often hhh

Lloyd kind of just talks about funny things, posts memes, and shares cool fanart. He tries to steer clear of negativity in general because good lord knows he's far too exhausted from his own trauma and stress to fight the internet. He just tries to turn a blind eye to stuff but he still gets caught up in the web that is social media sometimes, what with fame and all that, which often ends in him getting emotional. And subsequently having Kai offer to punch somebody. His socials are public but he doesn't advertise them much at all for the sake of a peaceful atmosphere, so he has like a decently small follower/sub/whatever count for how popular he is. His fanbase is pretty tame for the most part, though there are a few overbearing young children who don't quite understand things just yet.

Kai, the guy who made chirp canon by posting about being in the hospital and causing a break in that probably violated several laws and frightened the children.

... I mean it's kind of canon that he uses socials. Since he's likely one of the only two Ninja with public and advertised accounts, people flock to him a lot over that fact alone, so not all of them are necessarily there for Kai. He has a pretty dedicated fanbase of people who like him for his charm and personality, but he also has a few people who find him annoying and pretentious. Some people kinda don't mind him and just follow him for Ninja news or snippets in general, even though he doesn't just post about Ninja stuff. Since it's kind of hard to convey a personality in.. you know... text... unless you know someone REALLY well, he tends to have a bit of a divide in the community over how he comes off as arrogant or full of himself sometimes.

Nya our local girlboss who's movie counterpart rides a straight up motorcycle through hallways endangering hundreds of children- look I love Nya but principal where are you.

She does have a social, but she rarely uses it. When she logs in every month or so it mostly just consists of roasting Kai or answering curious fans. Despite this she does look at the fanbase every now and then because she finds it equally parts heartwarming and, when it comes to the idiots and trolls, amusing. She's pretty popular because of her general attitude and girlboss vibes.

Zane, robot man with infinite access to the entirety of the web.

So hear me out here... I don't think he has an actual social, but I think he edits wikipages. Like not fandom or anything just straight up Wikipedia. In every language. (or, well, regional dialect?) I know it's really specific but that just seems like something he'd enjoy. It's a secret hobby. He'll be up at night facing the wall in his bed, eyes open trying to finish this wiki article because new info about prehistoric dinosaurs and their connections to birds came out and he has to document it right now oh my god, and the others think he's just like asleep or smthn. It just makes him really happy. His fanbase isn't as large as the others, but he's still very well liked by the majority of the ninja fans, even though he rarely interacts with social media outside of interviews (because Jay is actively trying to stop him from getting anywhere close to it so that he doesn't have to explain certain things)

And last but not least... Jay... the social menace of the internet.

He's the second ninja with a public and well known account, and he's very popular. He talks about everything. Funny memes. Fanart. Silly thoughts. And he loves gossiping about the other's in good fun. His sole purpose is to entertain both others and himself, and he is very good at it, even online. He's also really involved in the community and likes giving shout outs to talented people and such. Being really involved also means he knows their secrets. He knows about the more sus parts of the fanbase. He knows about the secret Benedict cult. He knows about the real reason Cole and Nya are so popular. Sometimes, he'll deliberately mention these parts of the fanbase, randomly and oftentimes months apart, and just set the place ablaze because he finds it funny. Nowhere is safe from him and they all know it. It's become a meme at this point with some even people making up wacky conspiracy theories about him being omnipresent or the account being run by a robot with very well programmed bad jokes. But his sheer presence in the fandom and his personality makes him very popular. And the social he uses is probably YouTube, but he also streams sometimes. On YouTube. Not twitch. He never changed. Ever. The others love coming in during a stream and messing with him or teasing him in chat. Mostly Cole and Nya. They're subbed both to be supportive and so that they get the notification whenever he's live or uploads so that they can leave a comment. Because of course they would. Cole's YouTube account is the only account he ever uses that's public, and he made it for the sole purpose of teasing Jay. If that doesn't say best friends, then I don't know what does.

Someone Take Away my Writing Privileges

Words: idk I wrote this on tumblr (it’s not long tho)

Tws: blood, angst, pain, CRINGE

Lloyd landed on the ground with a dull thud. He took in a wet breath, ribs screaming, surely broken. The taste of blood covered the inside of his mouth, but he wouldn’t give up- he couldn’t give up.

He lifted a hand and began to push himself of the ground. He lifted the other, and managed to stand with wobbling knees. A soul twisting growl echoed down the streets, “You really think you have a chance?” Lloyd looked up through his shaggy, blonde hair, eyeing the Overlord’s latest form, “I am eternal! There is no defeating me! Give up little one.”

Lloyd furrowed his brow and managed to draw his sword, it’s weight nearly toppled him.

The Overlord laughed- a belittling sound. He raised his four arms, creating a glowing black and purple sphere above his head. “I will give you credit, ninja, your heroics are unbounded, but they are still not enough to stop me.” It smirked, and shot a beam of power at Lloyd, who ducked behind a car.

Lloyd gripped the hilt of his sword with all his fading strength. His lip quivered. Tears poked at the corners of his eyes.

Another blast pounded in his ears. What was stopping him from giving up now? If he truly wanted to, he could let himself die right now. He should be dead, but his will is the only thing keeping him alive. Oh how easy it’d be to give in.

Oh how easy it’d be to end the endless cycle of torment.

The memories of his friends- his family- played through his mind. He ducked his head into his knees, dropping his sword with a quiet clank.

Darkness shrouded his mind, a gentle and warm fog. Happier times began to take over his consciousness, but one memory stood out from the others. It was blurry. He couldn’t remember what exactly it was. He was a child at the time, talking to Kai. Or was it Jay?

No matter, he remembered enough to know what he needed to do next.

Another blast from the Overlord revealed Lloyd’s hiding spot.

It’s now or never, he thought. Lloyd pulled himself off the ground and held out his sword.

A sickly, stretched grin creeped across the Overlord’s face. He continued his monologue, “In the end, nothing will be left. I’ll destroy everything! The sun! The moon! All of Ninjago! And every realm in existence!”

Lloyd’s weak voice barely managed to make it past his cracked lips, “Even Joe?”

The Overlord halted, “Wha- Who is this Joe?”

After a small, blood pattered cough, Lloyd stared the Overlord down with steel eyes, “Joe mama.”

The Overlord’s face fell, but a panic slowly appeared in it’s eyes, “No… No. No! It can’t b-“ his words were cut off by the shrill sound of an air horn. A white light burst from the Overlord’s chest, blinding Lloyd and knocking him over.

The sounds of the air horn faded and Lloyd gradually regained his sight.

A crater was left in the ground where the Overlord once stood.

He had done it.

He’d won.

And to be honest, he was pissed that his dumb plan worked.

What can he say? He wants to inspire you ;)

If you have art block, he immediately jumps to pose dramatically or arrange a bowl of fruit or something

He’s equally enamored with the quality of your work and the fact that it came from your hands

He loves all your work, even the pieces you decide to scrap/re-do

“What are you doing?? That was perfect!”

“Jay? How long have you been standing there-”

On that note, he loves to watch you work

Even when you don’t know he’s watching… (he’s a little obsessed)

But the plus side of this is that he knows the exact products you use, and he can see when you’re running low

He makes sure to replenish your stocks for you :) so you won’t ever have to worry about running out mid-project

He also makes sure to flaunt your work as much as possible, especially the pieces he “inspired”

He truly thinks you’re the best artist in the world, and he WILL fight someone over it

Cole

I see Cole as a pretty artsy guy himself, so he’d be thrilled to have an artsy s/o

You might not expect it, but he’s really in tune with his feelings, so to me it makes sense

He’s not quite as artsy as you, but he knows how to appreciate it

He’s more into the performing arts himself, but he has no less respect for other types of art

He’ll totally arrange work sessions for you both, which vary depending on the vibe you’re working with

Feeling like doing something a little dark or moody? Dramatic piano. Candles. Wine/grape juice in wine glasses.

Feeling colorful? Open windows. Flowers in vases. Candy and fruit. Maybe some cartoons playing in the background.

Point being: he knows how to get a vibe going

He really loves to work alongside you, even if you’re not doing the same thing

Sometimes he tries to sketch or paint, but more often he’s just watching you work or practicing moves

(You guys totally have a shared studio btw; wood floors and barre for him, easel/supply cabinet/whatever you need for you)

You guys definitely help each other out too

He’ll teach you a few moves so you can be his dance partner every now and again, and he’s more than happy to be your muse in return

He doesn’t really do performances or anything (dance is just a side hobby), so he has all the more respect for you if you publicize your work

He loves all your work, but he’s also a great source of constructive criticism

“I like this one. It’s darker than your other pieces, though, isn’t it? More drab.”

“Yeah, that’s kinda what I was thinking. I think I was just in a mood when I made it.”

Kai

He’ll make requests, but mostly for things he thinks would be cool

“What if you did one with, like, a car shooting flames from its exhaust pipes? Oh! And the driver is super handsome with a flaming cape and swords and sunglasses that are made of pieces of the sun!”

“That is insane. …I’m starting right now.”

He really admires your art, and he’s honestly a bit jealous of your skill

He actually has a pretty creative mind, just not the means to express it

So he’ll be shy about it, but eventually he asks if you can give him some pointers

He doesn’t want to keep asking you to bring his sharks flying in jets over volcanoes to life forever, after all

He’s gotta learn to be independent!

So he’ll quietly join you while you work, watching you closely and trying to follow along

He also has a deep appreciation for art

He doesn’t always understand non-logical things, but art has a way of resonating with him

So to have a partner who makes art…

It adds a whole new level of emotional depth to your relationship

You already make him feel complex things, so seeing art that’s from you is truly an experience

The wistfulness he gets when looking at normal art is only amplified when he remembers that your hands produced it

He likes to be with you when he admires it, squeezing your hand while he takes in the little details

He’s a quiet admirer, but he’ll absolutely attend any events you’re featured in/support any online presence you have

He never gets tired of looking at your work; or looking at you work, for that matter

If you let him, he’ll watch you work

He’s dead silent, which is either a blessing or a curse depending on how easily you get creeped out

Eventually, when you finish, he’ll stand up and join you at your side, admiring the final product

You know he likes it when he reaches for your hand with a smile, letting you rest your head against him

The most you’ll get verbally is “it’s beautiful,” but trust me, he feels so much more deeply about the piece (and you <3)

Lloyd is more curious than anything when he finds out you’re an artist

What kinds of art do you do? Can he see your work? Have you always liked art?

He’s eager to see your work, but he’s not sure he can “appreciate” it properly

You have to reassure him that there’s no one way to “appreciate” art, and however he feels about it, that’s just how he feels

Your response only increases his interest

He ends up getting more into art because of you

The art of appreciation, if you will

He wants to be able to understand your work more so that he knows how to support you

He mostly spends hours just staring at your work, trying to notice the little details

He’d love to watch you at work, too, if you’ll let him

He asks questions all the time, but still tries not to annoy you

He’s actually already a natural at “appreciating” art, but the fact that he’s always trying to learn only makes him better at it

So you can do nothing but smile while he tilts his head, carefully formulating his next question

They’re surprisingly deep at times:

“Do you think this piece uses smoother shapes because you were feeling relaxed, so you moved more slowly? Or perhaps you were just emulating your calmness subconsciously..?”

“That could be it. I hadn’t thought of it like that.”

“Oh, sorry, am I overanalyzing? Sorry-”

“No, no, you’re totally right.”

You’ll ruffle his hair affectionately, and he’ll wrap an arm around your shoulder while he continues to examine your piece :]

Nya

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t see Nya as the type to get all deep over the meaning of art

Like, if it’s pleasing to the eye she’ll appreciate it, but she doesn’t think about it too much

It’s just too abstract for her tastes; the pseudo-reasoning of art critics gets on her nerves

But for your work she makes an exception

Well, not really an exception—she doesn’t take to pseudo-reasoning

She knows you, she knows your feelings, so when she sees your work, she sees a piece of you in it

It’s something she doesn’t see in other art pieces; she doesn’t know the artist, so it’s nothing more than a visual piece for her

But with your pieces, she can dig deeper because she knows deeper information

That’s why she loves your work, and why she loves watching you work

You’re the only artist that makes her feel like she really understands art, and for that she appreciates you

(She still thinks that most critics talk out of their asses though)

On that note, she will fight your critics. She will hunt them down and make them regret ever trying to “understand” your work

“Tch, look at this idiot. He doesn’t even know what he’s talking about! He doesn’t know you!”

“Nya, he’s complimenting my work-”

“But he doesn’t understand it!”

Honestly you think it’s a little funny how she’s unintentionally become one of those critics who argue about a piece’s meaning

She has a vast trove of knowledge, but feeling is something she often struggles with

There are few things that actually give her profound emotions

Your art is one of those things

The fact that it came from you, that your hands crafted it…

It stirs something in her, and suddenly the shapes and colors come to life

She asks you about it often, trying to understand

“Why is it… calming?”

“Well, I suppose I used some pretty muted colors, and the imagery is kinda peaceful… I dunno, does it calm you?”

“Yes. It makes me feel calm.”

Obviously you��re proud of her for better recognizing her emotions

And she’s proud of herself!!

Your art helps her understand a part of her that she’s only beginning to explore

And, since it comes directly from you, she credits you with the help :)

She loves to see your finished work, but she also finds herself mesmerized by your creative process

Watching the piece come together, each motion bringing it closer to completion, helps her understand the art itself

She tells herself that it helps her understand her feelings, too

a/n: Hello lovely! I adore this ask of yours, and it's my first ever platonic! reader fluffy oneshot thing so tbh it was a challenge to write it;;; It's been a while since I was a baby, so it was lowkey difficult to remember what it was like as...well, a baby :)

“Yeah, but if you do a double kickflip, you’ll get past the level with no worry!”

Jay frowns, nodding doubtfully as Cole explains the secret to beating the last level of the newly released game they’ve been recently obsessed with.

“Oh yeah, Kai asked for some noodles from Chen’s,” Cole recalls, turning down the street and walking past an alleyway. He’s about to continue talking about the game, only to pause, a peculiar sound attracting his attention.

He takes a step back, Jay watching in confusion. The earth ninja walks down the alleyway to a barely covered box. Surely he’s just hearing things. There’s no way-

A baby’s gurgle echoes throughout the alleyway, both the ninja freezing at the sound. He and Jay exchange worried glances, reaching down and opening the cardboard box.

That’s when he first meets you, a newborn baby swaddled in a tattered blanket with warm, e/c eyes staring up into his. His heart instantly melts at the sight, a soft smile spreading across his lips.

“Cole, we should probably report this to the police,” Jay says, concern laced into his words as he looks around for any sign of the baby’s parents.

“I don’t know, Jay. I mean, a baby? In an alleyway? In a box?”

“Abandonment 101…” Jay breathes out in disbelief, brows furrowing as he tries to decide what to do next.

“We can’t exactly just leave them here either,” Cole reasons, picking you up as you giggle happily at his body's warmth to your shivering self. He uses his fingers to tickle your nose, awwing when your small button nose wrinkles into a sneeze.

“Well…There’s always the city’s orphanage….” Jay suggests hesitantly, Cole shrugging in agreement. They make their way there, Cole already doting on you and showering you with tickles and cooing noises that you eagerly respond to.

Jay watches you warily, unsure of how to react when you stare up at him with pure curiosity shining in your eyes. His hesitance disappears, however, as soon as you smile at him, and he lets out a small “aww.”

They soon reached the orphanage but got turned away by the staff there, as all their resources were already used up, and they couldn’t afford to take care of another child.

“Awww, she’s such a cute baby!” Whispers surround Cole as he walks down the street with you in his arms. His chest is puffed up slightly in pride as you giggle with a small burp, Jay watching with a raised brow.

“You do know we can’t keep her, right?”

“But the orphanage is full, and Dareth can’t even be trusted to take care of a dog.” Cole points out, rocking you gently. The swaying motion lulls you to sleep, and your eyelids slowly close. He wipes away a tiny sliver of drool that trails down your cheek, chuckling softly.

“But we’re ninjas! We can barely take care of Ninjago, much less a baby!” Jay frets.

“I’m not liking the negativity you’re bringing to this conversation; it’s affecting lil’ Rose here.” Cole huffs, holding you close.

“Rose?? You can’t name them. It means you’re already attached! We can’t get attached; we’re not old enough to have a baby!” Jay’s hysterical panic draws attention, and the passersby send the ninja odd looks.

Cole shushes him, more worried about waking the baby in his arms. “I’m sure Master Wu can help. He took us in after all.”

“Yeah, when we weren’t babies!”

“It’ll be fine. Besides, I think we’d be great parents.”

“Hey, you got my noodles!” Kai jumps off the couch, approaching the two ninjas that flinch. Cole takes a step back.

“Why’re you two acting so weird?” Kai laughs, reaching out to the swaddle of blankets. However, before he can touch them, Jay swats his hand away with a glare.

“Watch it!” Cole hisses, turning to reveal you sleeping soundly in his arms.

Kai’s jaw drops, eyes filled with astonishment as the smile leaves his lips.

“That’s not my noodles.”

“Where’s Master Wu?” Cole asks, only for Kai to be interrupted by Nya’s excited gasp. She enters the room with Zane, the both of them walking over.

“Is that a baby??” She squeals quietly, gesturing for Cole to hand you over. He does so reluctantly, eyeing how Nya cradles you in her arms.

“Cole, I thought you went out to buy food, so why have you returned with another lifeform?” Zane asks.

“Long story short, they’ll be staying with us for a while since the orphanage is full,” Jay explains.

“Is that a baby??”

Kai groans. “Yes, Lloyd, catch up to the conversation already.”

The green ninja rolls his eyes at Kai’s smirk, walking to where Nya holds you. You’re still asleep, despite all the noise and commotion caused by your presence. He coos, brushing his fingers against your cheek.

This stirs you, and you wake up to see unfamiliar faces staring down at you. This makes your nose scrunch, and your eyes start to water as fear seizes control. You begin to cry, wailing at the sudden change of surroundings from earlier.

“What do we do??”

“I read that babies like to be teased, or maybe she’s hungry!” Zane suggests, hands over his ears as he winces.

“Uh, here, baby! Have a potato chip!” Kai grabs an open container of spicy chips, holding one up to you. You accidentally inhale the flavoured dusting, the spice stinging your eyes as you wail louder.

“Babies can’t have that!” Jay smacks the potato chip out of Kai’s hands, the latter glaring at him, offended by the action.

“Cole, hold her!” Nya hands you over to him, and he desperately tries to soothe you by gently rocking you.

“Shh, you’re safe now, little Rose.” He murmurs, and the familiar scent makes you blink, recognizing him as the one who picked you up. You like his warmth, your cries slowing to a stop as you sniffle with teary eyes.

The ninja all breathe sighs of relief, only to freeze as the door is slammed open by none other than Master Wu.

“What is going on here??”

“Goodnight, Rose.” Cole watches your eyes close, drifting off to sleep after your tiring day.

After that day three years ago, Master Wu allowed the ninja to adopt you. It wasn’t official, but he warned his students that caring for a literal child would be their greatest challenge yet.

So far, it was proving true. You start to cry, having woken up from an uncomfortable sensation on your back. Tonight was his turn for night duty with you, the others sleeping soundly in their comfortable beds.

Cole begins to hum absentmindedly, hand gently rocking your crib as your loud cries echo across the Destiny's Bounty.

It's a while before he realizes your cries have stopped, and he glances down at you. Surprise fills his eyes when he hears your happy coos, relieved you have calmed down.

He looks down at you, smiling softly when he sees your wide, innocent eyes that stare up back at him with intrigue. “Want me to tell you a bedtime story?”

From the way you tilt your head, it seems that the answer is yes.

“Once upon a time, there lived the First Spinjitsu Master….” He recites the tale Master Wu told them many times, loving how your eyes seem to light up as he speaks. He continues talking, only stopping when he sees your eyelids flutter shut.

“Rest well, Rose.” He whispers, continuing to gently rock the crib.

Sure, it’s hard taking care of a baby. But moments like these? They made it worth it.

“Not like that, sweetheart. Make sure you hold it upright.” Cole chuckles when you accidentally let go of the wooden ladle, and it bumps against your forehead with a soft bonk. You blink a couple times, eyes wide before they start to fill with tears.

“Uh oh.” Cole senses the incoming tears, picking you up and placing you on the tabletop. He grabs the first aid kit from the side of the fridge, opens it and puts a band-aid over the sore spot. “It’s okay, sweetheart. You’ll never get hurt as long as I’m around.”

“Thanks, dad,” You say, rubbing the spot where the spoon had landed harshly.

You manage a grin, lighting up when you see Aunt Nya walking into the kitchen. She notices you immediately, worry filling her face when she sees the first aid kit on the counter.

“Cole!” She scolds, gently massaging the area around the band-aid. She summons some water, holding a bubble of it on the spot where it instantly provides relief. “Do you feel better, sweetie?” She asks sympathetically, eyeing your adoptive dad with a slight glare.

He huffs, crossing his arms. “We were just baking cake, they asked!” He protests.

“It’s true, Auntie Nya. I wanted to do it for your birthday this week.” You glance up at her with a slight pout, and she melts at your expression.

“You didn’t have to do that, sweetie, but I’d love to try your baking!” You brighten up, smiling widely. After getting a glass of milk, she leaves the kitchen, pressing a quick and affectionate kiss against your forehead.

It’s been 10 years since you were adopted by the ninja, all of them becoming family, with Cole as your primary caretaker. The day you addressed him as ‘Papa’ for the first time brought tears to his eyes, and he was teased about it relentlessly for weeks until you called the rest of the ninjas ‘Papa’ as well.

Everyone was brought close to tears except for Wu. According to Uncle Kai, you had giggled and called him ‘Granpa.’

Grandpa Wu accepted the name without further question.

You hop off the counter, giving your dad a hug. His strong arms pull you close, ruffling your hair as you giggle with a wrinkle of your nose, shoving him off you. “Don’t!!” You laugh, “Uncle Zane braided it for me today.”

“What, you don’t like my artistic hairstyles?” He jokes, and you shudder at the memory of him getting your hair tangled into a giant knot that took hours of detangling. He gives you a noogie as you move away, shifting to start washing the dishes.

“I’m glad you’re our kid.” He murmurs, and your eyes curve into crescents as you smile back sweetly.

“And I’m happy you’re my dad.”

All the ninjago kiddos! That I remembered, lol.

Also I'm not sure if Echo counts, but this is my art soooo... He does now

Fun fact, way before Dragons rising was an idea, I had a little theory/AU thingie, where the ninja got sent to another realm, where time passed differently. (How funny, it was way before SotFS...) So basically these kids formed a replacement ninja team to fight the evils treathening ninjago, discovering they themselves are elemental masters. And that's been in my brain, slowly adding all the new kiddos to it. Might make some art, and a post about that too, because I would love to draw them.

Here's my spitballing on these dummies and their designs.

The Darkleys kids!

The little shits. They would be the ones to have kidnapping as their first resolve.

- I kinda didn't know Sally existed, but I liked all the art, so she does now. Also, she loves pink, I love pink, we all love pink

- Brad is definitely the muscle of the group, with a big heart, but not the greatest mind. Also, he has a babyface, that's very hard to make look evil.

- His design kinda grew on me with time, but it still feels a bit lacking...

- There's this theory that Gene is Skylor's brother, and Chen's son, that I kinda absorbed into my brain and ran with it so yeah.

-Also, the hand thingie is not a glove, it helps hold his hand together after a nasty injury :)

- The bowlcut was uniform at Darkleys, but Gene was such a nightmare they just gave up with him.

- They have matching pins and earpieces. Cause of course they do. Also, dumbo boots uniform.

The Paperkids!

Antonia and Nelson are a given, and I just kinda added Unagami on there, since he waved at them once. Also, I think it would be cute if they were friends.

- I know he doesn't anymore, canonically, but I like to think he still wears his purple gi under the jumper. Who knows when someone will need the purple ninja?

- He has a scar from the injury he had when he met with the ninja. Also, am I the only one who tought something much worse was going on than a broken leg? Obviously a kid show can't have a terminally ill kid, but fsm that's still how I remembered it.

- Antonia! I loved drawing her hair. Also kinda like her badass big sis vibes.

- She has her hands out to make sure the two kids, but mainly Nelson, don't go missing somehow (happens more often than you think)

- Even if he can shapeshift, I like to tjink Unagami keeps his line-marks in whatever forms, since it's apart of his skin. He can hide them, but it takes effort, so he just doesn't bother.

- He can change his form generally, but you could still tell it's him by the lines, eyes, and hair

- He has a little nick in his eyebrow, and so does (did i guess) Jay. I just think that's a cute detail

The Forgotten ones...

Just called that cause I had to add them on a separate canvas after forgetting them. I forgot Skales Jr, shame on me, I tought Jake and Nelson were one character, and I was still debating Echo. But here they are!

- It was surprisingly not that hard to draw him, even tho I was very scared

- Since he has white on him, I was trying (and failing miserably) to replicate those partially albino reptiles. Also added some pink scales, since he is also Selma's son, who's pink.

- I don't know to this day why Echo was introduced only to be left behind.... Nevertheless he's a sweetheart

- I guess if you count Mr.E, but then he would be dead... Unless the kids fix him (lightbulb moment)

- Also, ahy is his head weirdly tiny? How did that happen?

- Jake. Goddamnit, how were you the hardest to draw? Somehow I couldn't get the head right...

- The giant pants is an idea that lived in my head. I like yo think he would be able to fix ancient artifacts with hairties, ductape, and sheer force of will.

- He might have a bowlcut, but cmon, are you telling me he wouldn't at least try to replicate whatever the hell Kai's hair was in the beginning?
