Anyway can I just say I was disappointed Andrew wasn’t there with him when he first showed up at the end.

And then immediately was floored again by how considerate and protective he is.

Andrew who needs to stay with Kevin (and we know they won’t be bring him.)

And leaving him (all of his friends/family) in the place he will come back to so no one, not the Yakuza, the mob nor the FBI will accuse him of running away again.

He means it when he advises Jean to find something to hold on to. It’s the thing he found that makes him so compelling to me.

Also, I’ve seen it said already a thousand times but the cherry on top is him throwing a hit on another California rapist in a matter of seconds. I love one man!

Lies of P (2023)

#I finished lying and penising for the last time… #I got the game for my PS5 after 100%ing it on game pass bc I was so impressed and obsessed I needed to get a physical copy #so I obviously had to 100% it again and I hilariously forgot to read a letter to unlock an achievement #so I had to play the game a FOURTH TIME since you only get the letter at the end and restarting the game wipes all letters from your bag #but that let me do something I LOVE doing with these shorter games #which is putting the effort to give these characters the best endings their quests allow #so I can leave the characters in the world with as much peace as I can #I also did this in majora’s mask with my final run of the game being about doing every single side quest I could and beating ever boss #so that termina would be as peaceful as it would be once the mask was destroyed and skull kid freed #that being said wearing the alidoro mask led to an unintentionally hilarious semi final cutscene #a tear is supposed to roll down your face at one point but instead it was just a completely still super close shot of the dog mask #and I burst out laughing like nooooooo #luckily I’ve scene the ending like 3 times already but can you imagine if that was the only time I’d seen it 😂 #I one rounded nameless puppet this time I truly felt like a god I’m so grateful for neowiz for making this game its been so fun #even after beating it like 7 times I know I’ll be playing it again one day and I’m gonna be a preorder ho for the Lies of series #the DLC and sequel can’t come soon I’m so in love with this game I need to eat it #Lies of P #video games #lies of p sophia #lies of p carlo

#my novel that I'm currently writing is already too similar in vibe to Toilers. I completed Saints compaign and now wanna collect all the pearls.

Should I get then all as rivulet or survivor? Rivulet would be prob be faster but also I know some of the dialouge changes. Is it better to get them all as survivor instead or is it better to get them as Riv?

That post about Bryce and Ethan, I think there was a scene in book 3 where Bryce kissed MC unprompted if you’d hooked up with him at some point before…unfortunately I can’t remember which scene, or which hook-up triggered it. Although I want to say it happens in the Edenbrook gym??

However, I would still argue it’s not as bad as Ethan: Bryce is a friend and yes the kiss is very awkward if you’re not romancing him BUT it is 100% avoidable if you don’t romance Bryce - it never happened to me. On the other hand, regardless of my choices, MC’s boss will pin them against the counter, invite them to stay in their hotel room for the night, and (worst of all) say to their face ‘I need to be in control of you’. I used to at least like Ethan but book 3 put an end to that…

but yeah even if the kiss did come out of nowhere while not romancing Bryce , its still nowhere near as bad as all of the things Ethan has done. like comeon ppl, apples and oranges or whatever

this is not me blaming a fictional character btw the authors of oph are completely at fault here. but that doesn't mean that the way Ethan is characterized is free from criticizm, he is a very poorly written character ngl

edit: i just remembered that this is the same fandom that says that Harper sexually assulted Ethan for kissing him on the cheek in book one so 🧍‍♂️🤡 idk if thats as big a deal here on tumblr as it is on reddit but still. clown behavior
