These little cacti (and big cactus) turned out SO cute! They were a gift for my younger sibling’s birthday and very happily received :D

I’m still not super confident with amigurumi, so they do need to be kind of balanced to stand up properly hehe. But the big one is SECURE. The coolest part of these patterns for me is that you can re-pot them - take the cactus and soil out and swap the pot colours around!

Yarn: various scrap, I have a surprising amount of green DK

Pattern: All from Knot Monsters Cactus Garden pattern book! For the big one I just massively upsized the hook and yarn hehe

I made some festive hats for my cacti!

I’ve tried variations on these hats before, but I think I’m finally satisfied with this last round.

It all started with this little witch hat that my mom requested.

Then I had to make a thanksgiving and Santa hat. Here’s the three side by side.

I also redid my sombrero and leprechaun hat. Cacti and sombrero just makes sense if you ask me.

At this point I felt like I needed to address all the holidays. So I did this ’MURICA hat, some Easter bunny ears, and a pink/red hat for Valentine’s Day. I don’t know if I’m happy with the last two… 🤷🏻‍♀️
