A handful of moments as the season come to an end because I didn’t want to write a full fic. Also how are y’all? I’ve haven’t been on here in a while because ya girl had finals and grad 🫶

Post Practice, Friday

Welcome back to sunny Abu Dhabi, as we prepare for the final race of the season!! This weekend brings us the most heated battle for the Drivers Championship we’ve ever seen!! Yes that includes Lewis versus Max 2021, the Mercedes battle of 2016 & Sebastian Vettels maiden win in 2010. Ferrari have the Consrtuctors trophy, will they clinch the Drivers too? Lets have a look at the possibilities

Y/n L/n currently sits first in the points, with Max trailing by only one. Charles Leclerc only sits only 5 points behind him. It will come down to whoever takes the win for this race. Three potential champions, one race. Will it be a third championship for Verstappen, a second for Leclerc or a first for L/n?

Are you excited? Because we sure are. They all had great practices today. Who will come out on top? Tune in all weekend to see what happens!

I’m doing great, how about you?

You know, I’m pretty good but were not here to talk about me. What’re you feeling coming into this weekend, knowing that the championship could be yours?

Honestly, I’m trying not to think about that. It’s just a normal race. I dont want to psych myself out since anything can happen once we get on that track. Of course I’d love to win, but who knows. Charles & I have been able to bring that constrictors back to Ferrari which was incredible, and whoever wins will have absolutely deserved it.

Thats a great way to look at it! I’m rooting for you but we’ll see what happens. Now, onto something more important. You had an interesting weekend in Las Vegas, didn’t you?

Yeah, you know the race was a lot of fun and it was great to win, especially given the issues we had the week before

Girl you know thats not what I’m talking about!!! I mean your after race shenanigans Haha, yeah, so I got married which was a special experience.

Can I ask if you’d planned that going into the weekend?

Oh not at all! It was more a timing thing. So Saturday night Jack, my husband which is still weird to say, asked if I’d want to get married while we were there. He played a game in Vegas which is why he was there at all. Of course I wanted to marry him, but I didnt want to do it without some of our closest friends there. Luckily, most of them who play hockey were either in Vegas because they’re on his team or they were within a 2 hour flight range so we could get them there for Sunday night. And of course I was able to get the guys from the grid there no problem. So we just decided to go for it!

So no parents?

No, unfortunately not. Both of our parents live on the east coast and it was too quick to get them there, but we’re going to do a big party over the summer so they can celebrate with us.

At least they’ll have that!! Can I ask what the planning was like?

Jack took on all of the decisions which was really great of him since I had the race that evening, but Sunday morning we texted everyone with flight info & told them to get there asap. Then my best friend Thomas went & picked a dress for me, since Jack wasn’t allowed. I sent a message to our groupchat after the race with the chapel address once jack found somewhere & told the drivers to be there and look decent. It was a really great night though & I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Well congratulations!! Is he here this weekend?

Unfortunately not, hockey season is well underway, but I’m on the first flight to New York that I can get & we’ll have the winter break together.

Oh my god, we’ve come down to the final lap to decide the championship. Who’s going to cross the line first?? Right now L/n is leading, but Verstappen is right behind her. Will he be able to get past?? The other Ferrari of Leclerc is a fraction of a second behind Verstappen.

There goes Leclerc!!! He’s trying to pass Verstappen, my word! OHHH he does it!! Charles Leclerc puts his Ferrari between the Ferrari of L/n and the red bull of Verstappen

Radio: “Tell y/n I’ve got verstappen, go & win it!!”

That was Leclerc, it looks like he’s going to defend against Verstappen so L/n can win. We have half a lap, can he hold off the Red Bull? Fantastic driving by Leclerc, and what a teammate!!

Here it it!!! Rounding the final corner in that iconic red car, its L/n!! The chequered flag is waving, SHES DONE IT!!!!

Radio: C’est toi y/n!!! Tu es la championne du monde!!!!!

In her 4th season in Formula one, your 2023 World Champion Y/n L/n everyone!! What a finish from the young driver. History is made here tonight as she becomes the first female driver ever to win the championship!! She’s also the second youngest driver to take it after former ferrari teammate Sebastian Vettel.

What a race, what a finish as Leclerc crosses in second, less than half a second behind.

You

Over the radio you hear the team celebrating but you have no words. It doesn’t feel real. There’s tears streaming down your face. All the shit you put up with, all the years of hard work, missing your friends and family, it’s all lead up to this.

“Y/n?” You can hear your engineer ask since you haven’t responded, but nothing comes out. Driving towards the end, you do your donuts and pull in to your designated spot. You just sit there for a second before “HOLY FUCK” and someone on the other end laughs.

You’re still crying but its all happy tears as you pull yourself up & step onto the front of the car. You sit down on the Halo & put your head in your hands, trying to collect yourself as the crowd goes mad around you. Pulling off your helmet you look over to your team at the barriers & smile. You want to run over & celebrate with them, but you can’t bring yourself to move, afraid its all a dream. Then you get tackled. You’ve completely missed the other guys pulling up, too in your own head and you jump when Charles grabs you and pulls you off your car. He pulls you into a hug & whispers congratulations in your ear before someone else grabs you & you see Mick.

“You fucking did it!” He yells and you laugh. It was the kick in the ass you needed and you release Mick to go over to your team, hugging your engineer first. After that it’s a blur, until someone passes you a phone.

“McQueen!!!” Thomas is on the one end of the FaceTime, jack also popping up on the screen. You laugh at the nickname, glad to see their faces.

“I’m so proud of you!” Jack says “Me too!!” Thomas yells, wanting to be part of the conversation. “Thanks Thom!” “I love you so much babe! I can’t really hear you so I’ll call you later?” “Go celebrate, I’ll see you soon. Je t’aime mon amour” You blow a kiss before handing back the phone. There’s one more person you need to see. You spot Susie and you rush over to her. She’s been a mentor and inspiration to you since you were a kid and without her who knows where you’d be right now.

The rest of the day passes in a blur. You’re pulled into interview after interview, congratulations coming from all around and your phone buzzing like its possessed. You call your parents & Jack but thats it, grateful for all the love but too overwhelmed to deal with responding to all your messages. That night you and the boys go full send. You know its a good night since you can’t remember anything. Monday is filled with media, and then you hop on a flight straight to Newark.

Fourteen hours later, Jack & Luke are waiting from you when you finally make it through customs.

You’d think you’re racing or an Olympic gold to win the 100m with how fast you fly over to Jack & jump into his arms, tears streaming down your face as you hug him like a koala.

“Tu l’as fait” he whispers in your ear as you squeeze each other, your face buried in his neck. You can hear the emotion in his voice

“Je l’ai fais”

“Ma championne”

“Je t’aime tellment”

“Mon champion” you say back, smiling at the fact that both of you won this year

“Cough cough, Hi, hello, where’s my hug?” Luke says from somewhere behind you, causing you to giggle and pull your head up to look at him

“I’ll get to you in a sec”

Jack puts you down & you give Luke his hug. “Congrats y/n/n. You deserved it”

“ Thanks Moose. Now we match with our trophies.”

“We do!!” He passes you the big bouquet of flowers he’s holding, “from mom & dad”

“I love them. Let’s go home boys”

Why Pokemon Legends: Z-A Should Not put any focus on AZ:

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion but with the Pokemon Legends: Z-A announcement and all the discussion about it. for some reason so many of you can only talk about AZ. and honestly i hope we get nothing about him.

i hope he doesn't appear at all, if hes mentioned its about the history of Kalos and he never interacts with the player.

AZ's story is over, we got his backstory, his lasting effects on Kalos, and reunited him with Floette. there is nothing left to his story arc. his major role was being the explanation for how Team Flare got a super weapon. that's it. AZ has so much presence in the fandom even though he appears like 3 times in game and thats enough. hes not a major player in the game! he's a sad dishevelled man, cursed because he did genocide cuz he thought it would somehow get him his floette back. and by the end of the game he's repented, his superweapon is destroyed for good this time, and he reunites with Floette.

please note how broken up this man is that he finally reunited with his beloved pokemon.

AZ is only ever brought up when people want to discuss their wild fan theories or to salivate of "The Lore" as if AZ's actually done anything that wasnt dealt with in X&Y. Did his super weapon make the Area Zero crater? no because the Area Zero crater in 6 million years old -did you not go to the history class? What was AZ doing for 3 thousand years? after he got imortality he mostly moped and wandered cuz mass genocide didnt get him his Floette back. what happend to Kalos in that time? Kalos moved on? most of this "Lore" is either obvious, addressed in universe or absolutly not game changing! In my opinion: any poketuber talking about how AZ should info dump about what he did during his 3000 year mope are idiots who want a history textbook more than they actually want a pokemon game. and their reading comprehension sucks.

this is a bit of a tangent but i gotta get this off my chest: some of this focus on AZ is because some fans only want the opportunity to catch his unique floette. because you people are weird and must have everything for yourselves, i guess. I find it strange and bizzare that so many people are desperate to take this man's partner pokemon at all. like why? cuz its a unique floette? i don't really get it. I've seen so many pokemon youtubers who are desperate to talk about how they hope PL:Z-A will let them catch Floette and im sorry but do you(these poketubers) not understand pokemon? pokemon is about bonds and friendship and you want to break this one up because he has a special pokemon? have you people been watching and playing the same Pokemon i have!?

... anyway.

moving on, PL:Z-A is going to be focused on Lumiose City, on either its construction or some other aspect of it. AZ should not be involved at all, first its cuz AZ is still in his moping phase pre X&Y and will be until the events of X&Y. secondly because Lumiose is a modern city and AZ only affected changes during his reign as king, yanno 3000+ years ago? and thirdly, its called pokemon legends: Z-A. not ZA like some people keep reporting, the hyphen is important.

its not just AZ backwards, its an acronym Z-A. whether Z-A stands for Zygarde is up in the air, i mean the font choice points in that direction but who knows. either way i dont think PL:Z-A is gonna be about AZ at all and why would it Lumiose is about looking to the future and the trailer highlights this, why would they spend time looking to the ancient past in the game that in all likelyhood is gonna be about innovating and advancing into the future! and AZ is characterized by clinging to the past and not moving on!

In conclusion, I hope AZ doesnt appear in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, his story was complete in X&Y and theirs nothing to expand on that would be actually interesting to the majority of players.

I finally decided to suck it up and catch up with twst book 7, I stopped after seeing Silver cry because I'm sCARED OF BEING SAD 😭😭 anyway here's a few reactions I had to it 😭

And hearing about the update coming soon-ish to ENG servers I really need to read up

Lilia pressuring Epel like the old man he is 😭😭 I love the moments that they remind us just how old Lilia actually is and how he sees most if not all the students as if they were his children/grand children, making sure they get the most out of the party and drink...its giving "What do you mean you're not hungry? Absolutely not. Here Is at least 5 servings of whatever dish I made to help u grow big and strong."

Okay I didn't take a screen shot of it but the entire section where Lilia looked kind of guilty with Ortho about exchanging addresses because you just KNOW he probably isn't gonna check in, presumably because he doesn't want anyone to get More attached to him seeing as he is nearing the end of his life span (crying shaking throwing up)

THIS. THIS. THIS INTERACTION HE HAD WITH US. I LOVE HIM. I AM SO SILLY FOR HIM. I totally forgot I changed my in-game name from my nickname to my REAL name and when he said my name I verbally yelled "WHAT THE HELL" before giggling and kicking my feet hehehehe I'm clinically insane for him

But the fact that he acknowledged us as Malleus friend probably means we've spent a lot of time at the dorms or around Lilia for him to see how our friendship and interactions with him work, and it melts my heart hehe. Being part of the diafam fr. But honestly bro back me up, I'm tired of being called a hench-human 😭💀

I wonder just how bad we must look with everyone noticing the strange shift??? Either we REALLY made a scene (tripping over, going pale) or the twst boys are just that attentive to us and I think that is the sweetest thing ever 😭😭 Ace and Deuce is so sweet for thinking of us and trying to get us out while also being polite to the people who kindly held the party. Despite not being there long, ace and deuce is willing to skip out on free food and drinks in order to make sure you're okay and I'm just 😭😭 ANGELS. I LOVE THEM.

But also the way Lilia worries for you is so sweet 😭💜 I should write a fic of sick reader and Lilia, or reader trying to tough it out because I know for a FACT Lilia would not let that slide! (Hypocrite 😐)

I ACTUALLY DROPPED MY JAW WHEN SEBEK SAID THIS SHIT. I WAS. WHAT. WHAT THE HELL LMFAOOOOO 😭 thats fucking insane bro I actually found myself chastising him thru the phone, I would NOT let that discrimination against humans bullshit pass fr 😭 slap him right upside the head and give him a stern talking to. I like seeing Lilia get frustrated, he's so cute and UGH. Although it went in one ear out the other, Seeing Lilia mad is so hot if I'm being real with y'all rn BUAHAHA.

I didnt screen shot this either (and I can't fit anymore photos on this post smh) but Silvers nose being red and obvious he was crying but Lilia confused. DudE OF COURSE he was crying!!! You're his dad!! You raised him since he was a baby, he's just now going into adulthood and doing that WITHOUT HIS DAD who is going to a far away land! Sure, traveling is a thing , but honestly nothing beats having that support just a moments away. Silver is literally the sweetest and wants to support his dad , but who's going to support him????!?! Lilia is putting him in a position where Silver feels the need to be strong and hide his tears for Lilias sake, but of course this is hard on him, its so sudden, too! Being so close to your parent and next thing you know mere days later they are stripped away from your arms?!

I just want to give them all hugs. Lilia obviously has some issues and misconstrued ideas of love (a million people have made posts and comments on this, so I will not repeat it) and I just. Need them to all sit around and be their mediator while we go thru their emotional states.

Ugh. I was in my twst burnout stage and still low key am, but fuck does it spark so much passion in you 😭😭

For me the main drawback to enjoying this is the fandoms behaviour, and seeing the streamers so hurt is even worse; having them goof around WHILE talking about getting messages with death threats.

Of course its very important for streamers to address these things, call the fandom out and (if they so wish) talk openly and honestly about every horrible feeling theyre feeling. I wish they keep doing that.

I also wish people were kinder and the streamers didnt have to be this hurt. Please choose to be kind. We all came together to watch qsmp out of love - for the streamers, for the game, for the roleplay, what have you - so please choose to keep loving.

her face and eyes were covered in blood no wonder were more tense than normal "ooh why are people so unnerved around me" you look like a monster from a horror movie, you're walking around like you dont even need sight to know everything around you (she couldnt see regardless but they didnt know that)

oh theres no way they don't know her identity now

it takes one person with probably low to medium security access to hear that and go "gee, let me run a check to see if anyone with Skitters brown hair and skin colour (they wouldve seen at least that on the skitter clones, even outside how disfigured they were) matches with anyone who is blind or has been recently blinded" and then bam you find taylor with her school's recorded connection with Sophia/Shadow Stalker, her locker incident (possibly a trigger event?) her absences from school which start a couple days after skitters first appearance, line up with skitters activity AND escalate to 0% attendance once Skitter starts doing things like participating in the Endbringer event and soon after claims territory (a full time occupation seemingly), if you keep digging it seems she has moved out of her dad's house around the same time to an undisclosed house on the edge of town (no actual address given, possibly a misdirection), her father and all of his work friends survived (with minimal injuries) the Shatterbird announcement at the begining of the Slaughterhouse 9's occupation and they stayed alive for its entirety, And as a cherry on top, Taylors last 2 documented interactions with the public is Asssaulting a minor which was handled and doccumented by Shadow Stalker and COILS BOMBING where she was one of the survivors but was BLINDED, shortly after MYSTERIOUSLY DISSAPEARED with no release or transfer papers signed (or if they were, it'd be signed by Lisa W or an unknown third party)

ok id didn't have any coherent thought either just. jfa is such a game yknow. so many complicated emotions just underneath the surface... and they're so strong too. they control the flow of the narrative even. i'm gonna try my best to put some of phoenix and franziska into words (and fail miserably)

after edgeworth chose death... they were both "betrayed" by him (recall the poisoning and betrayal line). they're just... they're both in court to prove a point to themself. they're both trying to get closure.

and they very clearly both look down on each other. phoenix is just very aggressive in jfa in general... but something that makes me feel some way is the way they both criticize each other for running from their past

phoenix thinks she's running from the fact that her father is dead and franziska thinks he's running from edgeworth's "death" (and they're not wrong... although one is more obvious than the other)

i think it boils down to what point they're trying to prove to themself... and idk how much this goes into speculation territory cuz i'm not exactly coherent rn sorry

with franziska i'm pretty sure she's trying to convince herself that she's worthy of being a von karma/a prosecutor by being perfect aka winning against phoenix wright. the ending of jfa is evidence

with phoenix though... a running theme of jfa is suspicion. in the first case phoenix is so skeptical about maggey (yeah he's lost his memories but still) and in the second one yeah he will always defend maya, but mia had to give him that final puch to believe in her fully. big top is just... idk how to interpret that cuz i didnt trust anyone in that case while playing it. farewell my turnabout? speaks for itself

and maya's case being the first one he took on after edgeworth choose death (im pretty sure) even the gap between aa1-4 and aa1-5 says a lot

what im saying is... i think he was trying to prove to himself that there was a point in being a defence attorney even though the guy he became a defense attorney for was dead. and that the point was to "defend those who had no one on their side/innocent people" like maya. having said that... the last case suddenly looks kinda different

a lot of people tend to ignore that a significant part of his crisis in the last case was him having to defend someone guilty. he WAS having a crisis on what the point of being a defense attorney was (edgeworth wasnt just ignoring the main issue he was addressing another one) cuz he'd spent the first half of the game telling himself it was something that was crumbling down around him

i think if he had been in franziska's place in jfa, by which i mean that if he had lost those two cases against her, he would have lost faith in himself as a defense attorney like she did. which is what i mean. theyre so similar, it's just that one of them won and the other one lost

also jfa is a good game

anon i'm so sorry it took me this long to answer you asks. in my defense i was reading umineko and couldn't think about any characters from outside that universe

but yeah, i still very much agree with a lot of points?? phoenix and franziska aren't really obvious mirrors of each other like edgeworth and gant or franziska and adrian but they do still share some similarities and end up teaching each other huge lessons. I really need to talk about the significance of phoenix giving edgeworth the whip by the end of aa2-4 in a separate post, but other than that, some things i can point out are:

- anger as a coping mechanism and a method to keep going, in both cases directed outward when in fact they are more angry at themselves

- expanding on the point you made about phoenix trying to understand how to be a defense attorney and franziska finding her way as a prosecutor - edgeworth coming back does end up teaching a lesson to both of them

- they both have a very... wrong understanding of each other. phoenix immediately assumes franziska is there to get revenge for manfred and franziska villianizes phoenix for the completely wrong thing too

- also they kind of get angry at each other as a substitute for getting angry at edgeworth?? phoenix loooves to win against the prideful von karma child and franziska loves to whip the man who's the reason her father is in prison. you know

- ugh it's mainly about the whip and i don't want to talk about the whip without relaying aa2-4 first. no one say anything about the whip i will say it myself later pls

also the dynamic they have in aa3 is like balm for my soul. top ten things that heal you

✨ Napoleon's route in Run Away With Me story event (01/23-01/31) highlights ✨ -- boredom as a proof of peace

Ngl my first reaction was "of course, because his handwriting is such a mess she recognizes it right away..." which is.... something not canon as far as i know (?) but have you seen irl napo's handwriting? Disaster! Well, since his signature on the in-game letters is the same, i guess his handwriting is the same too 🤔 Lol now im imagining mc standing in front of the door for ages trying to read the note 😂

He's....even more of a bully in this event. Surprising her from behind is one thing, but he doesn't miss teasing her about being easy to surprise either 😭

he says that later on too! After successfully switching the key in her pocket with a brooch without her noticing

Her comment about him being like a magician 🤭 he truly outdid himself and it's quite cheesy... Im glad that he addressed that part. But he said it's not like himself to be cheesy...?! are you sure about that

As a whole in this event i noticed a lot of stuff brought up again later on and basically happening twice and I LOVE it, as strange as it is to be impressed by that. It's like, mc says she feels like a princess - i gawk, then towards the end napo picks her up "like a princess" - "OH he treats her REALLY like a princess!!!🥺" that way these things really make a strong impression and stay with you don't they.....

In that line of thought, what's with him and kidnapping all of a sudden?

Maybe the broke the fourth wall and started ironizing the overuse of kidnaping in the game fkkdfnkdkf next thing you know he claims to be under the influence of an aphrodisiac everytime youre are about to do it

I love how secretive he was about the whole thing, it's really his style ever since his route to organize surprise dates like that...and it gives him one too many opportunities to show his "cool" side (sudden fireworks? Dunno nunuche, it must be magic.) and to tease her endlessly.... In the end it turns out it's another of his heroic acts that lead to the villa being rented to him ...and he couldn't refuse when the owner suggested enjoying the fireworks to be shoot off with a lover 🥺❤️

Still the most important part of it is coming to the realization that boredom is a proof of peace. Coming from Napoleon who has long dreamed of peace and finally found it in MC, it's even more special. Who else is gonna see you doing mundane chores and bring out a positive side of it: being used to a life that once seemed so alien, and even dangerous 😭 he's good at seeing certain situations - even the most simple moments of everyday life- in depth and under different angles and interpreting them in a way so they have some sort of correlation to his deepest feelings. Nope, being cheesy surely isn't like him, nooo

His emotional maturity is always showing in such situations and it's part of what makes his character so great in my opinion. Being cool and romantic and thoughtful and charming and a dozen others is just a nice plus

And even after that, he's still ready to fight off her boredom in whatever way he can...hence the "I'll kidnap you anytime" part 🤭🤭 he's always so creative, i can't imagine feeling bored for long with him as a lover

I didnt get to see the other branch because someone forgot to log in and use her stamina 😭😭😭 maybe I'll find a way to see it, i also have the epilogue yet to see ( still emotionally and financially recovering from the 500 dia spent on it) but i can safely call it one of his best event stories so far... It felt of great importance about seeing their progress as a couple while still being a classy napo experience ™ 10/10

So true. Unfortunately nobody's been writing her well since the 90s or '00s. At least, I didn't come across anything featuring her in a well thought out way.

I'm split on counting War Games because 'she would not fucking do that' as people say. However, it is her position on morality taken to the twisted extreme. Still, intentionally killing or faking it, is very emotionally hurtful, like trauma inducing hurtful. Both for Steph and the Batfam and her mother.

Looked up the exact definition of pacifism and, well:

"Pacifism is a policy or doctrine of rejecting war and violence in solving disputes"

She kinda did use violence (emotional and body violating and zero consent from removing Steph from her life) to solve a dispute. Or to "free" Steph of her bat-duties, but it still counts.

Would love for Leslie to go after other batfam members and not just Bruce and argue with them about their methods.

Actually i think Stephanies death, either by medical negligence or a failure of her support system, is a natural consequence of Leslies brand of pacifism and while “She, personally, might not fucking do that” her philosophy might so its not as ooc as id like it to be.

So to discuss Leslie i think i have to establish two things 1. She suffers from being a (mostly) anti Batman character in a Batman comic* and

2. She and Jason are actually on two ends of a spectrum, with Leslie being “it is better to be the victim of violence then the perpetrator of it” and Jason being “it is better to enact unspeakable violence then be the victim of it”. With Bruce in the middle like “can we please get some nuance in here can we please get some fucking nuance” which is. Very funny actually.

(Its funny because Bruce, by being Batman, has basically decided to become the nuance - he will be violent for you, and by being so good at violence he can minimize the amount of actual violence needed)

So by letting Steph die, Leslie is essentially saying “no amount of violence can save us, isnt it better to die then without having inflicted it upon others?” Which is so very Ghandi of her, but also fucking insane and yeah Bruce was 100% right to never trust her again after that.

She is also - ok so the thing is, in-universe, being a teenage vigilante is. It’s basically like being a dance kid. Its going to have a profound and everlasting effect on the kids mental and physical health, there are side effects we still don’t entirely understand, but for the most part its just. Something some kids do!! Some of them insist on doing it (dick, damian (<-i have thoughts about why Bruce didnt want to give Damian robin ok) some of them realize it isnt good for them but cant really give it up (jason, maybe tim?) some of them are in it just for their stage moms (cissie king-jones) and some of them suffer long term consequences due to insufficient parental supervision (kon, pre-nu52) etc etc. Leslie is the mom in the corner who thinks allowing her kid to perform or even learn ballet in a studio is a slippery slide to abuse. She thinks no kid should ever be in that environment, and by Bruce allowing Dick to do so, despite Bruces reluctance in the matter and almost oppressive supervision, he has doomed an entire generation of kids.

She is never going to criticize anyone else in the batfam, because to do so would be admitting that kids have agency beyond what adults believe is best for them, and admitting that means being unable to push her “correct” views upon them.

Leslie is actually a pretty good stand in for fandom in that way; refuses to allow anyone but Bruce agency and independent thought, refuses to place blame anywhere but Bruce, insists a difference of opinion is grounds for dismissal of personhood and respect, and believes Gotham would be better off if Batman never existed.

(Once again i have no idea if i answered your question/addressed your ask. Sorry)

tti returnee predictions

the simulator will have picked random people and so in theory it could be anyone. BUT. since joner’s writing the episodes and has planned the plot points and everything, imo the returnees are most likely going to have some plot relevance (or at least one of them is) so here are what i think the chances of each contestant coming back is

fren: 4/10. definitely a possibility, esp since he’s confirmed to be in action. but i dont think so

joner: 6/10. narratively it’d make sense since michael and mclovin are about to address the issue(s) they have with each other and i can definitely see his return kinda lighting the fuse as they try to get him involved/take their side. think he’d be a mediator

peter: 2/10. doubt it, but it would be funny if he leaves due to injury twice

patrick: 6/10. my opinion fluctuates because on one hand i can see him being all “im back and now im not taking any chances im gonna win” etc etc etc but on the other hand, the current cast is pretty antag/morally grey heavy already so i dont know what he’d bring to the table and also he doesn’t rlly have a storyline to follow on with

kitty: 6/10. they weren’t removed from the island afaik so could very easily come back izzy-style. but also they didn’t rlly make friends or have a narrative to continue with so their presence on the island would be a bit too similar to scary i think. that being said the simulator will not take that into consideration sooo idk

mal: 7/10. she said “this isnt over” when she left and courtney’s still in the game sooo.... their whole thing could continue where it left off, i think there’s definitely more to work with since courtney didnt really get any closure on the matter?

o: 1/10. highly doubt he’s coming back. he didnt rlly have a storyline and he was there long enough that i think he would have if he was coming back

sha-mod: 3/10. would be very surprised if he came back. don’t think there’s anywhere else to go with his relationship with mclovin and he didnt rlly talk to anyone else

frollo: 2/10. highly doubt it but MAN itd be funny. he has no narrative at all he has no friends like what would he even do? continue reading his bible? slay i hope he wins

caesar: 2/10. as nice as a bonsar reunion would be, itd ruin the development that bonnie’s getting from being on their own, and he doesn’t rlly have any plotline to continue

one of my favorite scene in ataimw is the breakfast scene in chapter 1 because i really enjoy exploring Leo and Mikey's dynamic (i didnt do it very in depth in that chapter, but theres gonna be a little more of that in chapter 6) AND because i really LOVE throwing in little details that dont matter to the plot. just little things meant to flesh out more the characters and the setting (in this case: the new lair and how the sudden move affected them all)

here's the scene in question:

It’s very easy to figure out their family’s priorities based on what’s been organized and put away in the cupboards they have and what’s sitting on the counter or crowding the kitchen table. Plates and cups take up one corner of their kitchen counter. One flower vase has been temporarily requisitioned to hold all of their flatware because they still have no drawers. Their baking supplies are sitting in a plastic storage box on the extra chair at the kitchen table. The coffee and tea blends, the mugs, and all of Mikey’s spices— both ones that survived the destruction and brand new ones he went to buy with Raph— are all comfortably residing in their respective cupboards. Out of their newly christened ‘coffee cupboard’, Leo pulls out the first blend he finds, barely glancing at the label before looking for his mug. All of their old mugs were destroyed, so this cupboard is nowhere near as full as their old one was, filled with dozens of mugs gifted on birthdays and holidays either as genuine gifts or gag ones, most of them stained and chipped from years of use.

That one hit particularly hard, the realization that most gifts, cherished or forgotten, were laying shattered under piles of broken concrete. The coffee machine comes to life and fills the sleepy silence with the familiar sound of coffee brewing. It’s soon followed by the strong aroma of fresh coffee and serves to wake Leo a bit more.

sometimes i add a little too much, so most of the deleted scenes for this fic are little tidbits of useless (to the plot) information like that lol

Im currently not caught up on campaign 3, cos Ive been struggling with it due to the pacing and story issues, and Im real glad yo are putting out some excellent commentary on it. But the other reason why this campaign hasnt really appealed to me is because of some of the party dynamics and characters, mainly fearne and orym. I watched exu struggled through it, as something that i cant quite pinpoint in that party, just felt off and i didnt like their dynamics at all. So i was annoyed that some of those characters joined the main campaign. And now seeing spoilers of the recent episode, im trying not be too gleeful that its fearne and orym that are down. Cos i do feel that replacing one or both of them would fix some issues, allowing a more 'involved' and 'integrated' character take their place. But obviously im far from being neutral on the matter, so im sitting here just reading all this commentary, and stewing in disjointed thoughts

I'll keep this brief but: I don't agree on the party dynamics from EXU not working; I felt the Crown Keepers as a party worked in game though I had my own pacing issues with that story. I didn't mind having those characters in Campaign 3 either inherently, or rather, any issues I had with them were not unique to them. I have my issues with a lot of the party not having many ties to Marquet; with it being comprised more long-standing groups that haven't been given a chance to integrate with each other; and the Campaign 1 callbacks. All of these issues are equally or more true of Laudna in particular, who wasn't from EXU, than of Fearne in particular, who was but who in many ways has been one of the characters most willing to intermingle across groups. I think one could say that having characters from EXU, set in Tal'Dorei, may have contributed to those factors, but that could have been addressed prior to EXU (Dorian was from Marquet, after all).

I also think that this is also a case of some expectations not being clearly stated, or perhaps even known; the plot of Campaign 3 has not in my opinion necessarily served the characters it has in the campaign, because it has not felt character-driven, and whether that was an issue on the DM or player side is one I can only speculate on.

All that said: I think a shake-up of the party might help in a lot of ways, and I've expressed as much. But I still think that if that happens, the way it seems to be happening is inelegant and continues to fail in serving that character well.

Phantom Liberty

I have been playing Cyberpunk since launch and have been a staunch defender of it. The glitches were all on the consoles or PC's that shouldn't be playing it. There was a ton of effort and care put into this game. I have done 10 playthroughs and have amassed 355 hours in the game. The themes of this game cover many political and social issues related to hyper capitalism. There is also amazing cultural representation! There is even a trans woman who has a great quest.

I was so excited about Phantom Liberty because the story addressed topics I have personally struggled with. I have a business degree and originally was excited to do a career in economic politics or owning a business. I even at one point wanted to be President of the USA. Now however I am a staunch anti capitalist and vehemently dislike the political structures in the US and how they cause harm to the most marginalized of people. I also had enlisted in the US air force during high school. I was never given the opportunity to serve because Donald Trump had banned the enlistment of trans people in the military. I feel this is for the better however because I was able to access a career field I truly care about. The cherry on top of the DLC is that its a super spy thriller. I love this genera and have watched and read many of Ian Flemings' James Bond Novel based media. I wrote my own super spy setting for D&D and am working on its 2nd expansion right now.

These are some photos I took during my playthrough (admittedly pretty late into it). I really think CD Projekt Red really improved their lighting aesthetics. I also had a lot of fun making outfits.

In my first ever playthrough of the game I got the "Where Is My Mind" ending. Which sees you being fucked over by corporations. I played a corpo and instead of rejecting cooperate control I embraced it. This made Johnny kick and scream the whole way. I figured out that characters like Misti and Johnny are the story tellers way of speaking to us. They however only talk to you after you have made the decisions. I decided to do another capitalism lover in my Phantom Liberty playthrough. I don't fully understand why I prefer playing these characters. I think it feels like a safe space for me to grapple with these topics and experiment with what I would do in these situations. I LOVED the "bad" ending for the DLC. With all of the other endings in the base game V is unable to find a cure. In this one you ARE able to find a cure! Which is so freaking refreshing.

After the credits there was like an extra 1.5 hours of gameplay. Instead of just saying "you fucked up" it was like yeah you did fuck up and hurt a lot of people but heres how you move forward with that. My favorite moment in the whole game was seeing Misti 2 years after. It felt like I was a character in her story rather than being a main character. This ending is called "Things Done Changed". The themes explored in this portion felt extremely relevant for me. I had a major mental health crisis earlier in the year and I have been spending the rest of year trying to piece together what exactly happened to me and how it has changed me. This story ultimately had an extremely uplifting message. I even tried the other ending-"Who Wants to Live Forever"- which was emotionally a lot less challenging and is one of the rare endings which doesn't end your actual playthrough (which I have always kind of been annoyed by). And its not even like the ending didnt happen either I have multiple quests that happen afterwards because of the events of the story.

He estado jugando Cyberpunk desde la lanzamiento y he estado un defensor acérrimo a la. Todos los fallos estaben todos en el consolas o en los computadoras que no debería ser jugando lo. Habia un tonelada de esfuerzo y cuidado pone en ese video juego. Yo he hecho diez juego completos y he acumulado trescientos cincuenta y cinco horas en la video juego. Los temas de esa video juego cubren muchos temas poltico y sociales relacionada a hipercapatalismo. Tambien hay representation culturalista asombrosa! Hay incluso una mujer de trans que tengas una busqueda.

Era emocionada para Libertad Fantasma porque la estoria se hablo a temas yo he lucho con. Yo tengo un licenciatura de negocio y originalmente era emocionada a aser un carrera economica politica o ser dueno de un negotio. Yo incluso en un momento quiero a ser la presidente de los estado unidos. Pero ahora soy un acerrimo anticapitalista y con vehemencia disgusto los structitur politicos en la estados unidos y como ellos causar dano los personas mas marganalizas. Yo tambien he enlisto en la estados unidos fuerza aarea durante escuela secundaria. Nunca me dieron la oportunidad a atender porque Donald Trump habia prohibido la enlisto de personas trans en la militaria. Siento que esto es para la mejor sin embargo porque pude acceder un campo ocupacional que realmente me importa. La cereza encima de la contenido descargable es un suspenso espiar supur. Me encanta la genero y he ver y lear machas de las libros de Ian Flemings James Bond. Escribe mi propia estoria de super para D&D y estoy trabajando en mi secunda ahora.

Eso son photographias que yo tome duranta mi juegos completos (es cierto que bastante tarde). Yo realmente pienso CD Projekt Red mejorada la aestheticas de luzes. Tambien me diverti mucho haciendo trajes.

En mi primera juego completas yo obtener la “Donde esta mi mente” finale. Que te ve siendo jodido por los corperations. Jugo de un corpo y en cambio de rechazando control corporativo, yo abrace lo. Eso hecho johnny patear y gritar todo el camino. Yo descubierto esa caracteres como Misti y Johnny son los contadora de historias hablante con nosotras. Ellos sin embargo solamente habla con tu despues de haber tomado las decisiones. Yo decidió a hacer un otro amante de capitalista en mi Libertad Fantasma juego completas. No entiendo completamente porque yo preferir este caracteres. Creo que para mi es un espacio seguro para abordar estos temas y experimentar lo que haria en estas situaciones. AMO la “mal” finale para la contenido descargable. Todo los otra finales en la video juego base, V no puede encontrar una curar. En este tu PUEDES encontrar una curar! Lo cual es tremendamente refrescante.

Despues los creditos habia uno y trenta horas extras como se juega. En lugar de simplemente decir "la cagaste", fue como "sí, la cagaste y lastimaste a mucha gente, pero así es como sigues adelante con eso". Mi momente favorita de toda el juego fue ver a misti dos anos despues. Se sentia como si fuera una caricatura en ellas estoria en vez de siendo un personaje principal. Este final es llamada “Cosas Hecho Cambiado” (potencialmente suena mejor en inglés). Los temas exploradas en esta parte me parecieron extremadamente relevantes. Tuve una importante crisis de salud mental a principios de año y pasé el resto del año tratando de reconstruir qué me pasó exactamente y cómo me ha cambiado. En última instancia, esta historia tenía un mensaje extremadamente alentador. Incluso probé el otro final, "Quién quiere vivir para siempre", que fue mucho menos desafiante emocionalmente y es uno de los raros finales que no termina tu partida real (lo cual siempre me ha molestado). Y ni siquiera es como si el final no hubiera sucedido. Tengo múltiples misiones que suceden después debido a los eventos de la historia.

Todo esto para decir que me divertí muchísimo. Por favor disfruta las fotos
