He waltzed straight in without knocking, gesturing with a nod of his head and a thumb to the doorway for the red-robed something or other who already occupied the space to leave it as he made himself comfortable on the edge of Eva’s desk. “I want to leave, do you want to leave? I have a stories, and if you agree to play hooky with me, I will tell them to you.”
