When the game finally finished and Canada came on top you shook all the players hands, lingering on Jessie’s before you joined some of the girls on a lap.

what is the toritachi wedding like? im assuming that kisame unfortunately isnt able to give a best man speech. does tori try to squeeze her most recent book club victim into the seating chart?

i haven't put any thought into the wedding itself, but i DO have some Ideas for engagement

so i think one thing i've struggled with is what tori gets out of this relationship. and that answer is: she gets someone she feels is like... legally required to have her back. not in like a "ninja" way in a fight, but for a lot of life stuff. she doesn't want to go to somewhere alone? she doesn't have the energy to do a 12 hour day and also figure out dinner? she just wants someone to listen to her complain? is that NOT what a boyfriend is for???

obviously you don't need a romantic partner to fill this sort of nice in your life, but tori has grown to be pretty convinced she will never have anyone like this. it's why she's insane about book club and keeps kidnapping people to it. but also it feels, like, deeply dangerous to admit you actually like someone, even as a friend. so pretending she is forcing itachi to take her out as a vain excuse to show off a new dress is like... about where she's okay being. and itachi is also okay with this, because he gets it.

anyway the point of this is, tori will be like "well if you want me to ACT LIKE I LIKE YOU---" and then she'll say something she secretly just wants to do. the first few years she's often obnoxious about it to push buttons on purpose, but she does actually really like some romantic gestures because it's like.... saying, "yeah, okay, we're doing this." so they agree to get married and she's like, "okay, but you have to do a super romantic proposal now."

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but I think you’re projecting onto Fizz a lot regarding the whole “he needs to go back to the circus” thing. Like I don’t know you, I don’t know your story, but it’s something that’s not really a part of Fizz’s story at all in canon. He’s moved on. That doesn’t mean he can’t interact with anyone other than Ozzie ever again (some fans make them WAY too codependent). But I don’t think it’s healthy for him/you to dwell on that.

There’s no “right way” to say something as rude and silly as this to somebody, because I have a headcanon or theory about a show that you don’t like, lol? Are you trying to embarrass me into shutting up?

I cant get to the bottom of why the fandom wants to pretend that he isn’t from that place, you want to pretend it never happened and is never mentioned again. Ever. Why? Is he too clean for such a dirty past of poverty? Do you not want to see him have a single positive connection to his past. Or did it all mean nothing and Ozzie fixed it all. Maybe I don’t know your story but could you be running from your past, hiding from the people from it, and projecting onto fizz 🙃/j

Another case of ‘arguing against something I didn’t say’ disease…that’s one thing that infuruates me.

I dont want him to go back to them forever and to leave Asmodeus and move in with them💀 I want him to have conversations with the people who for all intents and purposes, are his family. So we can see what the dynamic was like and how it changed. Hell, even if it’s Cash Buckzos funeral and we see the whole troupe reunited and talking to each other for the event. Then getting into it about who all his money should go to, cause the twins don’t want it, or something. Loonas family/parents also left her. That doesn’t mean we should never see a scene where she meets them and speaks to them.

Just look at these characters from the past. Five jester clowns who look almost exactly like Fizz does now. The difference is their hats have the original logo, fizz has a heart. Hey, maybe he still keeps one of his jester hats with the old logo on it which he keeps hidden away in the back of the wardrobe, gathering dust, but he doesn’t toss it out. Like you seem to think he should. Because not every memory is bad, and that’s ok. Pretending you don’t have a past and don’t have any relatives or memories, that is what’s unhealthy anon.

Isn’t there a part of you that would be interested to see him finally not feel like he’s completely out of place and feel like he’s one of them and they aren’t lost forever like he thought? He keeps saying how much he’s lost, over and over in Oops and his song. And in Mammons, it’s painfully obvious that him losing his entire home family and life in a horrible accident, is what makes him so afraid to “lose” (—it all again) The second life he built. You’re acting like he’s not lost anything. And isn’t even traumatised anymore cause he has Ozzie. Cause uh, lemme tell you that’s not how trauma works.

Wouldnt it be nice. Just once. For there to be a typical family moment where he’s mistaken for and called by one of their names by accident? And he laughs and is happy, because that’s not something that ever happens? He doesn’t feel like he sticks out so much? Heck I ship him with Blitzø and I’d never want for Blitzø to be the one and only person who ever mattered to him back then. That’d be strangely isolating. Acting like he has no past kills his story.

You guys are really…really weird and defensive about me wanting him to talk about his past, look back on it, actually show us him mourning it even. It’s not going to threaten fizzarozzie. Calm down. You’re literally pretending where he grew up, where he was injured, and who raised him from a child isn’t an important part of his story. Only Asmodeus is?? Wtf. That’s actually ridiculous. Do you also never want Barbie or Blitzø to ever ever dare speak of it again? Cause it isnt part of their story?

honestly i think caine would be the same way, not exactly but i think he would some of the cluelessness in terms of how the real world works... except its mostly with the non digital real world; call it inexperience or something! lets you play hero during the IHA.. honestly you kind of fit right in with your personality, with tropes and being a stereotypical comic book hero, if not a little naïve. pretends he doesnt recognize you when you walk around in your "citizens disguise"

likes coming up with villain npcs for you to fight during adventures

POMNI:

initial confusion when she sees you just walking around with a tie plastered to your chest, asks you what its for as well as dropping your name. even more shocked that youre shocked that she knows who you are. kind of just accepts this is a thing you do and doesnt question it, especially as she settles into the digital world.. at least youre handy during IHA.. i think during my little break i might try to figure out how i wish to right pomni because i really do wish i made her stuff more... interesting

RAGATHA:

honestly i think she would make you stuff to add to your disguise. doesnt want to shatter the illusion for you so she just tries to casually give you stuff out of the kindness of her heart... which isnt... totally wrong.. honestly i dont think she would try to change you or bring up the bad disguise thing so long as its not somehow putting you in danger. in fact i think she finds your whole hero personality endearing, you guys are both optimistic and its nice to be around someone who isnt just. losing their marbles or being a dick.. plus, you arent technically wrong to view the digital world as a cartoon, i mean, look at it and look at the physics of the world and all

JAX:

oh he is going to be a menace, probably makes a joke villain persona to mess with you only for you to immediately gun for him and deal with his "evil antics",, i mean hey as long as jax doesnt put his silly little villain mask back on you wouldnt suspect a thing... maybe... i think he would roll his eyes at some of the things you say, since youre way more optimistic and out there than ragatha... probably uses your gullible..ness... as a means to trick you

KINGER:

honestly the "as a royal myself" line he dropped in the pilot makes me think that at some level he believes himself to be a real king; or maybe he was just REALLY playing into his whole theming and he knows hes just some dude but was trying to appeal to the gloink queen... what im trying to say is that i think there might actually be a solid chance he fully leans into your hero thing, and perhaps even falls for your disguise (if him constantly forgetting gangle is standing right next to him says anything about his observation skills and/or mental state)

ZOOBLE:

similar to jax but also not. finds your optimism a little too much sometimes; especially if youre very outwardly social and friendly so its not like you swoop in to do your hero duties but you also stop to talk to the 'civilians' of the circus.. though unlike jax they wouldnt try to trick you, nor do i think they would exactly be mean to you. a little irritable by your energy and attitude, maybe, but i think zooble gets irritated by almost everyone in the circus.. reluctantly plays along with your disguise

GANGLE:

i think she would be into it, probably draws you in your non-disguise outfit. you get fanart, yay! probably similar to pomni in the whole, just accepts how you are both as a person and with your antics, but i think she just accepts everything everyone else does! not much to say, shes a fan of it and if you stand up for her when jax is mean thats just an added bonus for her

i think the 'earth c everyone gets revived' universe has the most potential for agony. specifically for people that nobody wanted back. anyway hypothetical earth c kanaya and eridan mean so much to me actually. she apologized for killing him and now he sporadically shows up on her doorstep(definitely not drunk totally not crying on top of that because hes fine and normal and everything isnt hitting him all at once now hes safe) every 3 days give or take(usually take) to cry to her about whoever hes dating(living on the couch of and kissing sometimes) but its all okay because hes fine and theres nothing wrong(everythings wrong) and hes talking to her because he wants to fix their relationship(not because she's one of the only sources of familiarity and comfort because thats not something okay people need and hes okay) and their friendship(probably a (horrible and not at all healthy) moirallegiance they refuse to give a label because of how totally not toxic it is and how normal they are with each other and how not hurt they are and how much they dont linger on what happened in sburb and the feelings that come with it for a sense of security in what's familiar because they're fine) and they do not need to listen to cool about it boygenius and cry more(once she took his medication to know what it's like and now she has to act like she can't read his mind. she asks him how he's doing and she lets him lie. but they don't have to talk about it, she can walk him home and practice method acting. she'll pretend being with him doesn't feel like drowning, telling him it's nice to see how good he's doing even though they know it isn't true.) so like in conclusion eridan and kanaya are doing great and dont need help from anyone or anything

1. I think the emphasis on dragons and prophecies is also why the plot felt so meandering. We all thought that act 1 and 2 (with Lyney's trial and Navia's investigation) was supposed to critique the justice system and the people who view trials (and the weight of human lives, death, and justice) as drama. We thought that the oratrice declaring Tarts guilty despite us getting a confession from the true culprit was supposed to make us doubt Fontaine's reliance on the oratrice.

In reality, we were never supposed to question the goddamn justice system (again, of the nation of JUSTICE) at all! All those fancy trials were ONLY there to establish that Neuv is super nice, Furina is apparently super dumb, and fontainians can turn into water. Meropide was just arduous, boring filler. Focalors can perfectly do the entire work of every lawyer on her own. Tarts was declared guilty because reasons. The prison is super nice. The only read i can get is that the 'justice' were critiquing is the warped justice of celestia. Ie the fontaines original sin isnt actually evil (so they don't deserve punishment), Furina's love for Fontaine, which fuelled her through 500 yrs of suffering, is justice. Neuv's love, which inspired him to turn the fontainians into humans is justice. But thats like, such a weak message and barely connects to performance. Furina is really angsty though. Wish she was in a better plot. Love her.

Man, you are so right. Something something "themes are for 8th grade book reports" something.

Chapters 1 and 2 were bonkers because they kept setting up 'things to critique' in the justice system, but couldn't commit to any of it. Being reassured that the trials are treated respectfully and everything is above board because of Neuvi and the Oratrice in the same conversation that the court operas are mentioned.

The "critique" of the justice system Navia's quest supposedly offered was... that her dad deliberately obscured as much information as possible and died in such a way that the truth could not be discovered and it was only natural people would speculate what the heck was going on. The Oratrice has never been wrong, except this one time, and we know that because Neuvillette has always agreed with it.

Critiquing the justice system meant critiquing Neuvillette and Furina, and we're obviously meant to like and respect them. So the justice system could not be critiqued... so it all got watered down into some lukewarm 'be respectful towards other people' aesop. Which. Cool. Charlotte/The Press gets a free pass though.

Don't even get me started on Meropide. "It's super scary," says Neuvillette, "but don't be scared, because it's not scary." And Celestia is such an abstract concept outside of the Lore Dumps that critiquing them feels pointless anyway.

It's all just meaningless flavour text to try and fool you into thinking the world is more interesting than it actually is while they kill time until the parts they actually care about (The Lore) are revealed, but HYV is completely unwilling or unable to actually engage with it! Did Lyney and co. actually need to be Fatui members? Did they need to be present in the prison at all? Probably not! But they can pretend that us learning Lyney was a Fatui member Meant Something ... right up until we meet him in the prison and everything's fine, we're fine working together, actually. also our bff childe

Like, it's not just me, right? HYV will pretend something happened but then they just don't write it, right? Ei having her character arc off-screen, or Scaramouche's masterfully crafted Archon Quest where between the amnesia, The Kabukimono being absent from the flashbacks and the Kitty Story Book metaphor they somehow managed to avoid writing him having an emotional reaction to any of his tragic backstory? Despite being in a magic flashback tree???

Furina is annoying because I'd really like her... somewhere else. She was fun! Her VA knocked it out of the park! She deserved better than this!!!

How I feel about WHO ??

Sebastian X GN Farmer - (dialogue heavy) one shot

Just over 800 words

The idea for this came from completing Leah’s six heart event in an attempt to be friends with everyone on my save file. You can mentally swap out Sebastian for another partner if you want! (as long as it isn’t Leah of course)

“Someone just knocked on the door !”

“Okay dont worry I’ll get it”

Half putting on their boots and half stumbling, y/n makes it to the front door. It’s not unusual for someone to be here during this time, offering seeds or stray pets but it's still exciting nonetheless, especially considering the farmer has been making an effort to become friends with more people in town.

“Oh Leah ! Hi” y/n said once they opened the door, surprised to see a new friend

“Hello y/n, beautiful day isnt it ? i hope its not too early but i have brought you a gift”

On the other side of the door, Sebastian’s interest is peaked, he picks up a fussing baby from the floor and slowly walks towards the entrance of the house.

“It’s a sculpture I’ve been working on, just for you” Leah explained, earning very different looks of shock and awe from both the farmer and Sebastian.

Y/n reaches out for the sculpture and places it delicately on the porch beside them.

“It’s called… ‘How i feel about y/n’. I hope you like it” the artist continues.

“It’s amazing Leah thank you so much but you didn't have to”

“Oh don't worry about it! You’ve been so nice to me lately, bringing me salads and bottles of wine from your farm. It’s a way of me repaying you”

“Well you didnt have to but thank you so much, I’ll have to find the perfect spot for it”

Y/n briefly looked round to see their husband looking at them from the kitchen with a puzzled look on their face.

“Okay well I wont keep you for any longer. Are you coming to the stardrop tonight ?”

“Yes I am! I have some diamonds and oranges that I need to give to Gus” Y/n exclaimed, happy that someone reminded them of their to-do list

“Okay?” Leah said, now sharing the same confused look as Sebastian “Well I’ll be sat at my regular table, I dont think Elliot is joining me anymore so it will be nice to have some company”

“Oh of course I’ll come over and say hello” the farmer smiled, excited to be making friends outside of their husband and his band mates.

After saying goodbye, y/n watches as Leah maneuvers around the various barns and coops before heading back down the path towards cindersap forest. They bring in the piece of art and look at their husband.

“That was nice of them-“

“How I feel about WHO?!” Sebastian shouted, a smile creeping onto their face, leaning on the kitchen counters like an angry parent.

Y/n pretends to tuck a piece of hair behind their ear before putting the piece down and walking up to Sebastian with outstretched arms.

“If you’re cheating on me you can just say so” He playfully bats the farmer away.

“Oh my god stop being so dramatic”

“No I mean it! I mean I would have to figure out how to get the kids’ beds in my moms basement but we would remain civil. As a child of divorce I understand completely”

“Please shut up she was just being nice”

Sebastian pulls the farmer in close, their faces even closer.

“We’re married with two kids and I’ve never made you a piece of art”

“Well maybe you should”

“Have you met my mum ?? Wood carving skills are in my genes”

“And yet here i am … artless”

Sebastian tips back his head and laughs. Y/n is so glad he’s not the jealous type.

“I guess after all this time, I didn’t realise I had competition”

“You got too comfortable then. My life is like a dating sim these days”

Y/n moves out of Sebastian’s arms and walks away, trying to carry on with whatever was happening before Leah showed up. Sebastian followed them anyway.

“Oh really?” He questioned, still smiling “tell me what else i have to compete with”

“Well … Elliot dedicated his new book to me”

Sebastian acts as if he’s been shot and stumbles slightly, making Y/n laugh this time

“And Shane let me meet his chickens”

He pretends to be shot in a different part of his body. Sometimes you wonder if anyone else sees how much of an idiot he really is.

“I can’t believe Shane showed you his c-“

“Chickens!” Y/n shouts while finally stepping out of the farmhouse door.

“I cant believe I’m in this house, raising our children and you’re flirting with all of Pelican Town!”

“But you’re the one I married” Y/n laughs “I guess something about the motorbike and board games put you above the rest”

“Good” he smiles before standing on his usual spot on the porch, watching their partner throw themselves into their work. It’s times like this when he thinks about how close he was to leaving this whole town and life behind.

teya puts on an act to beg queen bitch to let her hug sunnie goodbye. epic fail. parsley jumps in and says "shes a mundane what could it hurt." teya puts on the sniffles and the queen allows it while insulting parsley.

teya uses feign death on him and he collapses on her. the guards yank her away and he just drops to the ground. queen has an eye twitch haha. since hes of no use she just. blows teyas mom away and says the contract was a waste xD.

shit she wants the body why. she gives up the body nice. zen really believes sunnie is dead :( teya didnt tell us anything xD wheatley tells parsley we should just go were not getting help here. parsley asks what she even wants from having him back here. making up for the failed marriage for one. and keep him here, like whatever lady.

parsley thinks theres a way they can both get what they want. 'im listening~' fix his wings and let him kill zorbolt, he will come back and make up for what he did. NOT staying, but they can arrange that details. she says 'until I consider you made up for what you did.' 'depends on what you would have me do.' theyll work the details later. also if he doesnt come back his wings will fail.

end of journey is killing zorbolt and getting what is owed to parsley. shes adding us into this deal wtf? she wants us to deal with the robots in the woods? he explains that dealing with zorbolt will stop the bots so it should be good. she wants it done now tho like lady we cant get in the woods. metal animals? something covered in eyes?

also after parsleys deal is done he can come and go as he pleases as long as he doesnt get in the way. deal taken! magical contract! rosemary fixes his wings. but we also still think sunnie is dead and have to go into the woods. parsley quickly puts in a good word for fiddlefink xD basil screams for parsley to visit xD his dad calls him impressive!

senna calls sadly to teya. a guard walks up and says he will lead us to the problem. senna says prayers for sunnie as they follow the guard. parsley tells us about what we gotta fight. senna guesses it might be a beholder. follow the path and itll get close to the creatures.

teya wakes up sunnie! rejoice! senna calls teya a genius xD time to yell at sunnie for coming to the feywilds! senna casts presti on him hes so dirty. he got robbed by goblins wtf xD parsley turns into teya for a joke and teya gets her name back nice!

People who go like "um, actually the Emperor only reacts badly if you lashout" have me like

The guy spends half the time half guilt tripping you/pretending to be your hero.

Then when im trying to fucking rest the eggplant turns up half naked then when I call him a freak ( omeluum manages to be nice) his reaction is to show me him enthralling someone he said was a friend whilst shes in her bed in pain, what kind of threat is that you moldy grape.

Then his own boyfriend understandably isnt happy about his loved one turning into a squid ( once you're a squid you are gone the tadpole with your memories remains) tries to out his down (understandable emperor would fight back but dont try play victim)

Literally everything about him screams manipulator, the game tries to show you books about how they work in manipulation unless you turn squid he will just get rid of you when you have no use.

Lets not forget he plays off acting the hero stopping your transformation then tries to persuade you to transform and take more tadpoles getting pouty if you dont definitely funnier if you stomp on them

A decent person wouldnt immediately threaten someone who freaked out when they invaded thier mind to seduce them, he really went "I could of forced you to do this , aren't you glad I didn't, youre a puppet .

It doesn't take much effort to get the mask to slip snd his true intentions show

Meanwhile omeluum is super chill, even if he turned out to be more sinister he can hold his temper, honestly id of loved it if he could join you're at the Brain

As a HB/HH liker, I sincerly apologize on behalf of most of the fandom, As someone who actually likes those shows, i'll admit that they do have major flaws (Seeing Stars was meh for me), but seeing how fans, Especially big fans/artists (Like DaniDraws, Teathekook, Elcee, etc) react to any sort of criticism on twitter, is rather embarrasing to say the least.

(You can imagine the releif when I read the rest of this. lol!)

Thank you, its nice to see someone from the main tags being reasonable for once. Very rare when I end up seeing that.

Its not even just the big artists, its people from Spindlehorse too that act childishly about it. Getting suprised when anyone doesnt like an episode and pitching fits about criticism, acting immature in general.

Speaking about critique in such a condecending way that can only be concluded as "shaming" rather than just dissapointment. Not even admitting to the episode had flaws, but shaming those who critiqued it. Vivziepop being so petty, that she liked this specific post as a way to pretend as if the critiques were "wrong." (putting "ruins the show" in quotations, the way its being said, the emoji, etc.) These being the comments after. With the average "wait for another episode!" excuse when theres now been enough episodes to know most of the quality of how the show will be going forward. This was also written before S2 Episode two, another awful episode, which made this all the more hilarious to read from these people. Also saying "this is just temporary!" or that "im just watching them to prove to the haters that they're "wrong" and they gotta see what happens before they judge them!" as if the last episode didnt fuck up the lore of the past ones (spoiler alert: it did.) which would automatically effect other episodes by default. There also being mostly character decisions that would effect the rest of the show based on how the show is sugarcoating their actions. Not letting them actually develop as a result.

Hince the "ruined" statement the fandom has been saying.

Since- the timeline was ruined, the potiential in certain characters was ruined by the backpeddling and sugarcoating. We dont need to watch other episodes to know this as "ruined". They're that bad.

These episodes are allowed to be judged as themselves Callis (I know there are people from your staff reading this.) we dont need to know "everything" about the show and whats going to happen to stand our ground about how we feel about it. Were not doing this to "assume" about whats going to happen. The show is already bad, this has been proven to us hundreds of times already. No new episode is going to "fix" how much damage thats been done already unless they rewrite the story altogether. The merch, the sugarcoating, and all.

Callis saying that the critiques were "mean" just because they arent the ones who constantly kiss the feet of their favorite ocs and mention that-gasp??? Their "bad people" demon characters are- NOT GOOD PEOPLE?! and- GASP! Should legit be held accountable for their actions?! WOW! Its almost like this isnt the "secretly wholesome" adult cartoon that they wanted it to be but was executed as showing their characters as awful because- GASP! The writers also just happened to not be good people with questionable morals! /j

A group of bad people trying to dictate what's "moral" or not? Who would have guessed that this would eventually lead to the show becoming messed up as all fuck- not even in a good way, but showing messages from the writers terrible enough to make even a 90's series blush.

Its almost like all of this whining about people who critique in the fandom is just an attempt to gaslight people into seeing the critiques as "hot takes" and not anything of actual value. When people are upset for actual reasons. No "youre allowed to critique" gaslighting is going to make us hold back our words. Lmao!

Calis also mentioning a nonsensical critique about Lucifer's new design but not even mentioning what people were actually upset about. Its bias such as this that is just that- "Embarassing."

These people react to the critique like teenagers who just got a f on a test for the first time. Immature, making excuses, and just downright being very condesending, gaslighting, and non-addressing.

So your ask was entirely understandable anon. Thank you for apologizing. It wont do much for how these people effect us, but I do appreciate the empathy. Thank you.

I love invincible on a rewatch. Originally I kinda guessed the twist when omni-man said that shit abt how "earth isnt yours to conquer", but knowing completely and rewatching is so fun. Mark excitedly saying he's getting his powers and his dad 100% serious when just before he was casually boasting abt beating a dragon in Hong Kong. Mark getting traits of his father means he's going to have fulfill his role, the original reason omni-man decided to have a family on earth, and his dad has to teach him to start this whole process. Omni-man can't keep playing pretend in his cushy, comfortable, nice family. But the difference is Mark was raised on earth with humans, the first ep shows him trying to stick up for someone else against someone bigger than him, a character even says he's not omni-man, so he can't do it, but he still has these values of trying to do right. And the fucking scene when his dad hits him!! He says "if you want to do what I do, you have to be prepared for anything, no one is gonna pull their punches." Later, mark is yelling at his dad telling him to hit him, to prove that he can be strong, just like his dad, and omni-man hugs him while telling him he can be like him. It's him like going back and forth between actually being kind and then trying to justify this tough treatment (how he was raised), which can't work. They talk about how mark will have to do things he doesnt want to do and thats what it means to be like him. All that contrasted to the finale where his dad is just beating the ever loving shit out of him, trying to also get his message across, but in a cornered way, he's gone too far irreparably damaging his reputation concerning basically every human on earth, so he's just trying to beat the message into his son, who is so much better than he is and omni-man runs away in response, unable to continue

The mom is wonderful, too. After Mark and omni-man's first lesson, he turns on her and snaps, "Are you questioning me?!" And you can absolutely tell she doesn't let that fly, and he doesn't usually act like that. His line ending their argument that "our lives maybe would've been better if he never got them at all". Mark later tries to replicate his father's toxic masculinity now, his mom telling him to go to bed (a human concern) instead of trying to practice flying (his father's issue) and Mark says "make me", and she rightfully calls him out on his newly perceived value of physical strength compared to others. The first ep is just sooo good in retrospect

im glad your moving more towards comedy and doing what you love for the comic! personally I've always been a big "plot" fan- I just love that for a story that is seemingly so silly and funny and childish on the outside, it has layers and character development and tragedy, yet can still remain happy and upbeat and goofy and, well, stupid. I'm not sure if you've ever watched Centaurworld, but SSEC gives me similar vibes of a story about a tragedy that lives in a super comedic/"magical" world that balances the tragedy and comedy together instead of completing becoming one or the other.

personally, ive never thought of SSEC as depressing? never once, even on the most darkest pages, have I thought of it as depressing. "edgy," perhaps, but I liked that, because it was a silly kind of edgy. an edgy that is serious- these characters' emotions and stories are real to them and they have their bad days, their absolutely awful days, but they can still do silly things.

i mean, Harmony, Miku, Bow, and similar are all my favorite characters. i loved Miku for being (or at least acting/pretending to be) insane in a yandere, "kill-for-my-true-love" kind of way, but also knowing she was Sora and that she had this wonderfully tragic story and that she wasn't a two-dimensional joke character but someone capable of love and wanting love and who could genuinely be nice and sweet and timid. I loved Harmony for being absolutely miserable, for being a character who feels so realistic because she wallows in her own misery and takes her anger out on everyone else when she really only has her self to blame in the end. I loved Bow for being a bully and a Mean Popular Girl who picked on Eve, and that she has her "reasons" for doing so but also she really has no excuse for bullying and excluding... and the backstory that she had once been so kind and caring to Eve! I ate it up! I also loved Eevui but i dont have a reason for loving him lmao

ive been loving the more "story driven" chapters recently, but i wont be sad to see a return to comedy focus. the fluffy outside was what drew me in anyway!

id also just like to say that i think the reason you couldnt find any real criticism is because your audience tends to skew younger? like, 10yo-kid vibes. kids who just really love pokemon and eevees especially and are just here for fun but are also kids and complain a lot and whine when things dont go there way. and if not younger, then, well, perverted, because the pokemon fandom is strangely perverted. which isnt to saw the entire SSEC fandom is either young or perverted (or both), just that it seems like a majority fall into one of two categories (on the Tumblr side of the fandom anyway, not sure what the Discord fandoms like!)

anyway i just love your work and im glad you can get back to enjoying it <3333

My goal is to keep the chapters story driven while plugging in the comedy more and making the drama less of a focus (it’ll still be there) also fixing a lot of plot things. (Like. A lot)

And, with the criticism thing. Ssec’s audience skews younger (I’d say middle school aged) but I was asking the more older fans. And like. They were CAPABLE of doing it cause after I started listening to ES fan stuff, the older, passionate ssec fans all of a sudden came together to criticize SSEC out of nowhere for hours on end. Best stuff I have gotten imo. It’s just that people were saying sorry to me for doing it after, which kinda shows why they didn’t do it beforehand. =w=;;
