Not sure if you remember but i saw you mention in the tags or something about how you had an oc that was the child of the god of slavic fox stories n was just curious about that idea of yours

Well I wouldn't count them as ocs per say just because it's a loose idea rattling around in my brain and not solidified as a story I'd definitely want to pursue, but sure I can talk about it a bit! The idea is about story "gods" that represent a specific reoccurring idea/animal/character/etc living in a space beyond the spoken and written word, so like. There'd be a god of the big bad wolf, or cinderella, etc, although I wanted to focus on Russian fantasy so in comes the god of Russian story foxes, such as the one that stole the cheese from the crow or pursued the grapes. He represents all of the iterations of these foxes and sort of guards and guides them, but he got bored of that and started observing the real world, through windows created by open books. He then encountered a librarian whom he developed a crush on, entered the real world one day to introduce himself (super forbidden for story gods to physically manifest irl), ended up developing an actual romantic relationship with her and would be in the story world less and less. He then broke the ultimate rule and created a daughter (stories are meant to be created, not creators, and especially not something irl) but was forced to return after A) his prolonged stay in the physical world started literally disintegrating him and B) when he returned, there were active efforts to keep them there without ever contacting the outside world again. This daughter grew for a few years and long story short, discovered she could travel through books, met her dad, they had a reckless adventure bc he was so excited to spend time with her, etc etc. She appears human in the physical world, but apart from book travel, can create mushrooms under her feet bc mushrooms are very entrenched in russian culture and it's also very cute :]

#keese draws #warrior cats #warrior cats oc #oc art #oc posting #Ill probably change sundapple's colors in the future but I think the other two turned out mostly fine #also fun fact; mapleface is actually sundapple's half sister (although neither of them know this)#they share a dad who they both barely knew so thats fun ig #this means sundapple is half siblings with both of the other main characters good for her #oh for the basic plot summary here for those whove missed me talking abt it it follows sunbeam and hailpaw being hit with the brunt of the #aftermath of the mysterious deaths of their clan's leader and deputy as sundapple is promoted to the leader despite only having been a #warrior for a very short time and hailpaw begins being haunted by a mysterious presence which turns out to be the ghost of the past deputy #that being mapleface in case it wasnt obvious dhdnhdj #theres other important characters too I just dont feel like designing them rn #but Ive gotta design sunstar's epic gamer polycule at some point I love them #too bad one of them dies though rip #I also need to design the healer since hes uh. super important to the plot to put it mildly

Me starting fe engage rolling my eyes at animated sequences, hating the voice acting + the overdramatic sprite animations, being taken out of the battle I was enjoying to watch more animated sequences & being like "just Let Me Fight! The Fuck?????"

In other words my engage game is going swimmingly, it seems

#speculation nation #i have it set to hard mode bc ive learned i enjoy fire emblem games more on hard #since i like fire emblem for the tactics to start with. not much worth to having battles be way too easy #anyways im like barely started. dont rly like the summoning system. feels cheap + marth deserves to not have to deal with this crap #i chose the female protag bc ???? idk smth about the male protag pissed me off more #SORRY FOR BEING A HATER BTW hfkhsjf i feel so mean rn to ppl to like this game #listen i love fire emblem. and i think i will have plenty of fun with this game once i get used to it.#but i swear hearing those two kids yelling when she woke up (literally why do they have KIDS appointed to watch her???)#made me just Grimace. i really do not like their voices.#the protag's voice is... okay... i like it more when she sounds confident. the sniveling 'uhmm... and you are...?' just annoys me #the knight dude's voice is actually the most tolerable. im not a big fan of his design but it could be worse.#at least i dont end up wanting to rip out my ears when he talks.#pls tho i need more units so i dont have to listen to those fucking kids. where's the awoo guy. i think id prefer him over this

#waaaaa :''')#it also makes me feel like i need to criticize it more i feel like i hype it up too much bc im very not normal abt the good in it rn #please believe me its not perfect both morally and like. just in its writing/design.#early game writing especially can feel a lil odd. i dont necessarily think its either a good or bad thing #but i feel like its important to mention that based of the content in-game alone i only really started to get attached to the characters #around 5-6 chapters in #<- in part bc they just fumbled the wendy arc imo.#and even then it was only a slight attachment! a deeper attachment would only form later in i think 9-ex #bc of the connection that they didnt know hmeko was dead #<- STILL MAKES ME LOSE MY MIND BTW.#i do think the tonal change is necessary to understand how a honkai eruption changes the atmosphere and disrupts life yk #esp since it fits well w the military commentary when its revealed that HoV's awakening is because of otto #i also think it just lets players dip their toes in first #and sets up a world where kiana is actively devolping alongside her environment #but man it can feel. boring sometimes.#hnk3 #mhy criti #and this isnt even getting into the other writing issues and the things i have an actual moral issue with

played some more mother 1 i died to the magicant dragon like seven times in a row . awesome

#last attempt ana died turn one i just gave up after that #i dont want her to lose out on the exp… plus shes rhe only one w superhealing in case someone else goes down #ive heard it can get oneshot if u just use a superbomb but part of me wants to actually beat it #idk #seems pretty impossible at the level im at rn tbh i might just give up and do that #i got lifeup beta on ninten before one of the attempts on rhe way to the dungeon thingy but i reset the game after i died cuz i didnt #wanna lose the money i had on me and i still havent been able to learn it again -_- really annoying but also it hasnt been too necessary #since i gave evrryone h2o pendants and started setting up psi shields turn one #honestly the biggest issue is the physical damage (its pretty much guaranteed to oneshot ana even with boosted defense)#only way to combat that is just grinding i think which i dont really wanna do since the best place #just based on the general feel of enemies so far for me to do that would be the desert #i dont think you can teleport there and im kinda sick of walking all the way there #right after i got the cactus melody i wanted to use the ocarina to play what i had so far but i accidentally used the onyx hook #and i still had to do the whole monkey cave thing so i had to walk all the way back 😭#oh my god im realizing how whiny this sounds its like. im not as frustrated as ive seen some ppl get w this game but understand this is lik #the most time-wasting game in the world. walking anywhere takes forever cuz of the horrible encounter rate and shitty map design #genuinely i dont mind as much of this games jank as i probably should but the backtracking is insane #especially when you actually take advantage of the onyx hook. at least i have teleportation now stuff will #probably be a lot more streamlined from now on #inqusitivewaltz.txt

Ellie Williams fucking hated you.

Surprisingly, she didn’t at first. In fact, she was in love with you, bordering infatuation.

She had seen you for the first time at the local bookstore before the semester started, you were flipping through a book about time and relativity with a concentrated look on your face. She smiled to herself when she saw you push up onto your toes to reach for another book but to no avail. She took this as an opportunity to walk up to you and reach over your head to grab it, making sure to flex her lean, tattooed arm before placing it in your hand.

Her jade eyes locked on yours and your face heated immediately, you mumbled a “Thank you.” Before scurrying past her to the checkout.

Imagine her surprise when on the first day of classes, she walks into her astrophysics course and sees you, doodling in your notebook with that same concentrated look on your face.

Of course, she sits next to you, flashing that charming smile that has sweat gathering at your hands. She tells you her name then asks for yours and learns about your major, favourite course, and how you’re staying in a little apartment just outside the campus before more students and your professor filed in. You didn’t know why but you just felt so comfortable telling her things, She laughed at your corny jokes and made even cornier ones, and she admired the doodles that covered your notebook and the little duck pen you used.

You didn’t want to speak too soon, but it was safe to say you were harbouring a tiny bit of a crush on her.

Ellie on the other hand, was completely ready to admit it. She felt her love for you grow each second she was around you. Your smile quite literally felt like the sun shining upon her, your laugh made her want to drop her studies of space to pick up stand-up comedy just so she could make it her job to make you laugh. In her eyes, everything you did was perfect. Her thoughts were completely consumed by you, you, you.

And for a few months, things were amazing! You had been introduced to Dina and Jesse and even spent Halloween hanging out with the trio watching horror movies and eating each other's weight in candy. When the holidays rolled around you and Ellie, along with the others, cozied up under some blankets and made fun of cheesy Hallmark movies while she tried her hardest not to interlock her hands with yours even after your pinky brushed against hers for the sixth time.

During finals, Ellie and you organized designated study days that usually ended in giggling at stupid memes on each other's phones or late-night food runs. Of course, there were lingering touches and flirtatious glances here and there but you were too shy to act on it and Ellie would rather die than make you uncomfortable so she kept you just at arm's length. Besides, she knew you were too timid to approach anyone else, so in a way she had you all to herself.

Then, you met him. Some motherfucker whose name she didn’t care to remember. However, she did remember the innate feeling of anger that surged through her body when you gushed to her about him and how he was a history major and the way his glasses framed his face perfectly and whatever the fuck else you found interesting about him.

She nodded and laughed and smiled along with you when you would drone on about him but would excuse herself to the bathroom to tend to the crescent-shaped wounds in her palms from digging her fingers into them so hard.

She tried her best to not show these negative emotions to you because she knew how much you didn’t like when she got mad but fuck was it hard. Especially that one night when you were out with him and you hadn’t replied to her texts in over 5 hours. Man did her drywall take some damage that night.

And when you finally did reply you had completely disregarded her message and went on to boast about the time you had and how gentlemanly he was. All she could do was reply with a dry “sounds like fun🙂” before she went back to throwing a tantrum around her room and tormenting that poor wall…she’d have to remember to buy some spackle before the end of the semester.

Then, there was the time she trekked over to your apartment with some pizza for a surprise movie night and saw the bouquet placed in front of your door. She set the box down to pick up the flowers and read who it was from, her body reacted before she could rethink. She tore the flowers from the beautifully wrapped packaging and stomped on them over and over and over until all that was left were broken stems and tattered petals.

Thankfully, you got home just a few minutes later and missed her outburst. You gasped when you saw the smashed flowers and asked her what had happened, she shrugged and lied easily, claiming it was like this when she got there. She let out a breath when you shook your head and sighed, saying it was probably your next-door neighbor who had always been a bit of a grouch.

She had genuinely thought she was doing a pretty good job of hiding her true feelings for both you and him but it was when you gleefully announced that he was officially your boyfriend she knew she was done for. You squealed and pulled her in for a hug but it felt like her heart had shriveled up into a clump of black coal and woosh like magic, her love for you had turned into something twisted, something possessive.

It was when you invited her over to your apartment to eat dinner with him that she had started considering the idea that you knew she had a crush on you and you were just fucking with her emotions for fun.

How could you start dating, let alone seeing some random ass motherfucker when she was right here! She knew she could treat you better than he could even dream of, she knew everything about you and she’d make it known to you how perfect she was for you, one way or another.

That night at dinner she sat uncomfortably as you fluttered around your tiny kitchen, adding last-minute touches to the spaghetti you made and despite the grumble in her tummy it felt like she had no appetite when she watched the hungry way he looked at you, as if you were a juicy steak and he was a starved wolf.

Once you were finished plating the food and placing it on the table you sat down eagerly and tried your best to mediate the obvious tension.

“Soo uh, Ellie, you’ve been really into watercolour recently right?” You beamed.

“Uh-huh.” She said dryly, twirling her spaghetti around her fork.

“Oh that’s cool, you know watercolour as an art form has been around since Egyptian times! It’s funny to think that like—Cleopatra was painting with water and grapes or something!” He spoke and you giggled like it was the funniest joke in the world. She shot you a look that said really? because she knows she could make a joke that was way funnier, and would expel your real laugh.

“That’s cool. You know how to shut the fuck up?” She mumbled into her bite of spaghetti.

“Sorry?” He asked and you gave her a sideways glance.

She smiled tightly and swallowed before answering, “Just said that’s cool!”

Dinner dragged on as he droned about the history of the Renaissance or fucking Christopher Columbus, she didn’t actually know, she tuned him out. After you cleared the plates, you ushered them into your cozy living room for a movie and when you excused yourself to the bathroom she plopped down on the couch next to him, subtly pulling out her switchblade.

“So, Kevin—“

“Actually my name—“

“I don’t give a fuck what your name is, matter fact I don’t give a fuck about you in general. What are your intentions with ★?”

The man tensed up as Ellie expertly spun the blade around in her fingers.

“Uh—I mean, she seems cool and dating her has been pr—“

“Cool?” Ellie scoffed, “She’s fucking perfect, and I hope you know whatever you have going on with her right now? It won’t last. Soon she’s gonna see you for the limp-ass motherfucker you are.”

He was taken aback, “What?—I’m sorry, did I do something to offend you?”

“Your whole existence offends me.” She rasped, inching her blade closer to his neck. “She’s not meant to be with you.”

He furrowed his brows, “You like her, don’t you?”

Ellie rolled her eyes, “You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.”

Before he could reply you were back from the bathroom and she slipped her blade back into her pocket and got up with a firm grip on his shoulder.

“What were you two talking about?” You asked as you grabbed a bag of chips from your small coffee table and tore into them.

“Oh you know, girl talk.” She smiled, digging her blunt nails into his shoulder. Translation: don’t say a fucking word.

You rolled your eyes playfully like you even had a clue of what was going on, “He’s not a girl, dumbass.”

She shrugged, stepping away from her previous seat to plop down on the other small sofa.

The rest of the night proceeded relatively smoothly, your boyfriend had been so shaken up by Ellie’s words that even with you sitting next to him he kept his distance with worried glances toward Ellie now and then. Ellie crunched on her popcorn happily and watched the movie with a satisfied smile and a chipper aura.

Need i say more:)))??!?! started out as a "haha funny slip-up ship" to "hey they got really good angst potential". The friends/lovers to enemies to lovers is STRONG with this one n i am eating up everything i could found on ao3. Smth bout this macho-ass man finally getting to stay back n not take charge for once feel nice, also princess Adam supermacy wooooo. Whoever came up with the ship name i applaud u cause that's like a 3 layers name(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

It's not an Adamsapple fic without Adam having at least 1 mental breakdown n Lucifer have his guilt eating him alive:)))

a/n: ngl the thought of post-college life is tripping me out,,, im a junior in college rn and the thought of it just kinda doesnt?? exist?? also ive heard too much info from my friends' rants ab their engineering degrees and switching majors from mechanic to electrical back to mechanical engineering,, theyre fucking nuts

modern!mizu would prob be in the engineering sector of jobs

wooo stem baby (i am a digital marketing major i should not be talking)

also let’s use that mechanical engineering degree to good use

she didn’t leave home for nothing

with her technical skills from eiji

modern!mizu would probably be a CAD engineer

CAD aka computer aided design

technically speaking, it would allow her to work from home or hybrid

and she can easily transfer her mechanical and on-hand knowledge to a digital format

like she’s smart yall

she just got some troubles w procrastination

but dont we all?

this job would also allow her free time and flexible hours to do her job

and i feel like modern!mizu opts for a good work-life balance
