Hamilton was one of the first pop culture medias I was really into with a cheating plot line and I was like damn. Can’t believe this guy threw away his successful career he dedicated his whole life to and incredible wife and family for one hook up. I should not have been surprised Apparently this is very common and easy for men.
seeing people watch john mulaney's new stand-up special and talk about how amazing he is like... did everyone just forget the fact that he promoted and platformed a transphobic comedian right when the US started passing country-wide legislatures against trans people
people are writing whole essays on my inbox about John Mulaney being an addict and that's why he shouldn't be held accountable for being shitty like newsflash assholes
I know and love plenty of addicts and yes I acknowledge it's a disease and yes it can influence behavior but that doesn't make any of the horrible things they've done to me or others less horrible 🙃 you don't get off the hook for hurting someone just because you have a clear reason why you did it
So late to the party! I love Kroll & Mulaney and made this edit of my favorite Krollaney moments.
Nick Kroll's "I was unsure whether I wanted to sleep with John" interview and his breakup jokes in the Little Big Boy special made me wonder if he was at one time secretly in love with John but hesitant to tell John his true feelings. So I made this vid to explore a little bit about how Nick's past relationships did not end up well for him, how John showed up and changed his view of love, and how he struggled between losing John and opening up about his feelings.
if I had a nickel for the number of youtubers I watch(ed) who cheated on their wives, flirted with fans, got kicked out of their company, ruined their relationship with their wife and two kids, and undermined fans’ belief in their status as men who genuinely loved and valued their wives and family, I’d have two nickels which doesn’t seem like a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice (in under two years!)
screw your zodiac sign and mbti type who's your fav stand-up comedian
believe it or not this actually kinda make sense
like I have 2 irl friends and we three have different stadup favs. Seems to correspond to personality a bit.
of course the practical realistic guy likes jokes about his own identity, the friendly chaotic girl likes witty energetic puns, and the extrovert daydreaming nerd likes the internet meme generator
Oh no! My hand slipped and now I'm writing a prequel to When the Smoke Clears, focusing on Slime before he comes back to Las Nevadas because my brain Can Not be normal about c! quackcicle
