every day i am so glad g3 came out btw. there was such a stretch of time where i thought that monster high as a franchise was dead, which was so weird when it was such a game changer to the doll scene when it came out! there was no news and there was barely anything to speculate over, and like a miracle that changed and there was stuff to look forward to :] also its been honestly pretty great imo, i really love g3. i just love that this franchise is continuing and that its so good at the same time!

For the yes/no ask game: If you were interested in picking berries and learned all the good spots in your area to collect from, of which there happened to be many, and you found yourself falling into a little community of berry pickers, where you trade locations, recipes, and knowledge of berries, and one day you heard of a little local legend about a lost grove that's supposed to have some of the most delicious berries but no one remembers the path since the markers for it were washed away one particularly strong storm, only a general area of where it might be is recalled, but you're intrigued, so armed with what little information you have and boatload of determination, you pack yourself a little picnic and decide to make a day of it, hiking out to the spot, and it takes the better part of a morning, mostly because you keep stopping to check for berries, but by noon you've reached a place you're pretty sure must be it because the bushes are so high and thick they seem to be trying to drown out the sky itself and the berries (which you one hundred and ten percent recognize 'cause you're cool like that) are plentiful as expected, so you get to work filling your basket and while you're collecting you stumble across a couple little neat trinkets you decide to pocket as well (a spinning top, a key, a dog tag, and an old useless walkie-talkie) and before long you've filled your basket and you start your trek back following your markers, only to see a door halfway back, standing in a frame in the middle of a clearing of a thicket, so, obviously intrigued, you wander over to give a closer look, it's old, vines climbing the brick around the frame, it's closed and the door is painted black, when you try the handle you see it is locked, when you go to the other side you see the door is white, and when you try the handle the same applies, even when you rattle it nothing happens and while you chew on a berry and think on this problem you remember the key you found earlier, and having nothing better to do you dig it out and try it, to find to your delight that it does indeed open, you take the key back out and step through the doorway, closing the door behind you, you try the key on the black side, but it doesn't work, so you shrug and pocket the key once more, returning to your journey out of the woods, only...where are the path markers you tied on the way in?

You wouldn't say you're lost quite yet, but you hurry along the path you're sure you took anyway and you make it out, but your way home is missing, you let out a noise of frustration, you've been robbed, but you have no cell service here so you start walking, luckily home isn't too far, but it is tiring, and by the time you make it to town it's mid-afternoon, you're tired, yet satisfied with your haul, but as you walk into town you make a very disturbing observation, this is not your town, the streets are strange, the architecture too, you make it to where your house should be and there is no building, instead the place is a garden, there are people, tall with long dark hair, and you wave to them to ask where you are, obviously you've made a wrong turn somewhere, but as they come close they seem confused by you and your words, when they speak the language is harsh and punctuated by chirps, like nothing you've ever heard, you can't understand them, so you politely apologize as best you can and try to speak to the next person walking down the road, but with the same results, you try again and again, each time you fail to communicate a sense of unease quickly turning to dread fills you, you can't even find common words in any language you know or gestures with those who try to communicate with you, eventually you find yourself sitting alone outside of town, evening will be here soon, you put away your phone, which you noticed earlier hasn't had service all day, and your fingers brush against the key from the Door, despite how bizarre it sounds, you are struck with the hypothesis that it may be the source of your current mishap, after a long bout of debate, deliberating your options, you decide to try going back to the Door, while it might be a waste of time, it couldn't hurt and maybe you'd solve this problem while walking anyway, so you head back, much more direct than the first time, but it's still dusk by the time you make it, the doorway is just as you left it, you try the key in the lock on the black side of the door again, to no avail, you bang on the door, kick it, try to pick the lock, eventually you circle around to the white side, this time when you try the key, it opens, but when you look through you are certain that is not your world, do you walk through?

#like let me dump a few of the ideas that will probably never actually become real here: #1. story about two vampire hunter girls and one goes missing and the other has to go find her and fights various vampires along the way #(i actually did finish a few designs for this but scrapped it and now a lot of the plot aspects are in reassassination #such as a coven of 7 vampires based on the deadly sins - now the 7 assassins of the clear crucifix organisation in RAA) #2. darkstalkers-ish fighting game that i was really convinced i could make once i learned how to code - #- where the guardians of love and heartbreak fight to prove which love is real #there were multiple characters planned - puppy love which was like a cute girl with a big ass scary fuckin hellhound #sweetheart love who was a chocolate themed magical girl (her gimmick being that she could transform and her fighting style would change) #fake love who was like a scam love doctor old lady called dr.diva #pure lust who was a super tall vampire guy etc etc the list goes on #i kinda want to go through with that one. one problem! i cannot code fighting games #and the one that was pretty well developed - metallic miracle which had a pretty complicated story #basically the world is being attacked by alien creatures that can only be killed by children (never decided why tho) #so the fucked up government takes a bunch of 5-8 year olds and put them into comas and then turns them into cyborgs #to go on suicide missions to kill these aliens. mira's mother is the scientist who created the technology that can send them into comas #and keep their bodies moving n shit and she takes mira onto a different planet to try and save her but theyre found after a while #mira's mother is killed and mira is drafted in the kids v aliens war BUT she is immune to the coma technology #she fights fully aware of what is going on for around a year? and eventually the aliens are driven out and mira is super traumatised #and is one of the only survivors of this 'greater good project' - so they put her in a coma that actually works this time #and send her in a space capsule for years to give her some peace (didnt develop why shes in the space capsule) #anyway 50 years later mira is woken up and taken back to her home planet to help these other guys against smaller-scale threats #and the whole thing is about mira recovering from what happened to her learning to trust others and stuff #looking back the story is kinda edgy n doesnt really make sense and stuff but i think it could be interesting idk #is this oc rambling if its only in the tags? #whatever #oc rambling

cas should have had soooo much more trauma about the fact that he is possessing a vessel

#emotional AND physical trauma lets goooo #every time cas hugs his child he's using a corpse to do so! #castiel's vessel gets hit by a spell and jimmy's body turns into a weapon that hurts castiel's #true form but he's too weak to leave the vessel! #castiel starts heavily dissociating because the body he uses to interact with the world straight up is NOT his #because cas doesn't have a place in this world!! he's an angel on earth! he's isolated and doesn't belong in every way possible! #cas walking straight into mirrors and windows bc he doesn't realize the reflection is his and things #its another person who will move out of the way #OR cas having a heart attack every time bc is jimmy back??? #demons saying cas is no better than them bc of the vessel situation #angels asking how they're meant to believe cas genuinely loves humanity if he did that to the novak family #angels asking if falling for humanity was just an excuse-- did cas just not want to be around angels anymore? #was his family not good enough for him anymore? #castiel #''maybe you should have put all this in the actual post instead of the tags'' #<- no! this is a little treat for all my followers who actually read my tags #its more intimate and natural this way :)

#(has to be up in less than 6 hours) #i hope work gets delayed or cancelled again....that would be so awesome... #sigh....though i cant imagine w all the snow and ice we'll be very busy...even though its our big discount day #ugh... #Well anyway... i THINK i have an okay grasp on the characters #im a lil hesitant. 58 chapters wasnt enough for me to really grasp onto them #i need to understand characters inside and out before i can write them. When i can enter my hyperfocus writing mode #its easy to let the characters write themselves and im nothing but their vessel. helping them move along. #for me writing isnt like being a puppeteer controlling puppets. The characters do the work. #a Vessel is the best way to describe how i feel when i truly write. #the world around me disappears and the story pans out. Sometimes i get so into it i practically turn into my protagonist #so...im not Quite sure im at that point yet where i can let these beloved chars write themselves #let alone what situation to let them get themselves into #hmm. #ill try to think of smthin. #there isnt a whole lotta info out there abt the chars tho so i cant rely on that many sources or interpretations #its gonna be shaky at best if i do write them... #which my writing is Always shaky when i cant fully get into it. Thats how it be #when im unfocused it shows in my writing. #i have to let my subconsciousness drift and let my mind warp to another reality... #anyway hi im sane if you read all this!!
