It is, by far, way too funny to me how I've been confused about Karlach's inventory for god knows how long before realising what's wrong. I was convinced it was the game being bugged since she can carry like 250kg.
Then I realised... she's been carrying around Cazador's corpse all this time. This shit is so funny to me because can you imagine a group of 4 people walking around Baldur's Gate, just casually dragging the corpse of a vampire lord along with them as a sign of dominance (and forgetfulness of said vampire corpse).

Shape do you ever think about soulfire and layers and the cold. I do... I do...
I didnt before but i sure am now!!
I was talking to someone irl a few days ago and they mentioned a headcanon where soulfire didn't have any winter clothes when they spawned in, but. they did have a lot of corpses with old, stained clothes. can you imagine? stripping the corpse of yourself to add just a few more seconds between yourself and the next respawn? caught in another death loop at that godforsaken spawn, and grateful for the fact that at least it means you'll be warmer, just a little. Imagine them all wrapped up in parts of bad's cloak- theyre hunted for the ferocity of their guard dog, but even his failures keep them warm. and now bad wears his snowgear as a cosmetic, marking him as one of theirs just as much as they are his.
and the armour... ohh, their armour. layers for warmth and layers for protection are different- I think at a certain point they dont need the warm layers, not the way they used to. but there is something in them that still equates warmth with protection. theres something about them building all of their armour sets underneath a lake of lava. willing to enchant their sets in safety, while molten rock drips slowly onto them from the ceiling above. they dont need their armour to stay warm, because their home will keep them warm for them.
and then the agreement to use no enchantments. their protection, their warmth- thrown away so quickly, almost eagerly. after all, soulfire knows how to handle the cold- and maybe some of them even miss it

speaking of zoe, i was pondering how much different "this is certainly less than ideal" timeline zoe would be bc a) demersa having a much different temperament would have definitely influenced her adolescent interactions with him/the other CLoA and b) because the agowilt was not defeated the same way it was in the actual timeline, zoetrope never gained posession of one its mirage wheels or had it grafted to his spine. he wouldn't even have wound up getting zoetrope as an alias/stage name because of this, because the wheel is how he got it. he'd still be going by zach, most likely.
all i know is, when he encounters (our) charlie, LTI zoe is likely to glomp or at least tap him on the shoulder in greeting, but the instant their atoms make contact zoe freezes and Instantly knows that's not charlie (not his charlie, anyway) and reacts about how you'd expect

If there's one thing I like more than time travel it's crossover reincarnation, so.
Botk link reincarnated as Damian Wayne.
An incredible weapon master of all types, but especially prodigious with a sword - he was beating knights at the age of 4 and with his memories as intact as they get for him I can see that goalpost moving even further (probably with traps and tricks, a 3yo doesn't exactly have great bodily control).
He's an excellent survivalist, agile, strong, durable, cunning and creative. He can move like a feather in the breeze, strike from behind with ease. His first kill, an animal, did not stir him as it did the other children. With his poise, grace, skills, obedience, he ought to be ra'as' finest assassin in the making, a jewel in the crown of the league.
Except he never speaks a word. Half his targets escape unscathed. He skates by true punishment on the merit of his skills and achievements in other missions. Testing has shown it is not a physical deformity that prevents his speech, but not even talia has been able to coaxe a word from him past his second birthday.
It is a defect ra'as is growing more and more frustrated by, as each attempt to fix these two final flaws ends in resounding failure. Less extreme solutions are running dry.
Talia fears those solutions. Her child does too, she knows. For them, there is a possible solution, more extreme than anything ra'as would tolerate.
She sends him out of the league. To his father.
To Gotham.

Baldurs gate boss fight conundrum. Easily win the fight by using an arrow of roaring thunder to knock the boss off the arena and into an instant death. This loses whatever loot he has on him. Also loses the role play affect of wanting a specific companion to give the killing blow to this bastard….. sigh. Not taking the easy path out but lol jfc shove and any other ability that knocks people back is crazy powerful in this game if you don’t mind losing the loot. There are a lot of chasms in this game…
